Aptive doesn't offer a one-size-fits-all pest control solution. Instead, the company offers customizable pest control treatments that will meet your needs and protect your home. The Aptive pest control process is simple and includes the following three steps:

Based on the pest control plan that you choose, a treatment schedule will be determined, ensuring that an Aptive technician visits your home regularly to keep pests away. If pests come back, Aptive offers re-services at no additional cost.

Wide Range of Targeted Pests

Aptive pest control products specialize in eradicating almost any conceivable pest problem:

Ants — A number of different types of ants may find their way into your home. Whether it is the Argentine Ant, Fire Ant, Odorous Ant, Pavement Ant, Pharaoh Ant, or Thief Ants it is likely that they are looking for food or water that may have been spilled in the kitchen. It is important to remember that where there is one ant, there is an entire colony. Aptive's pest control products help kill not only the ants that venture into your home, but the entire colony.
Cockroaches — Similar to ants, a number of different types of cockroaches exist in the United States. Some include: The American Cockroach, Brown Banded Cockroach, German Cockroach, oriental Cockroach, and Smokybrown Cockroach. If you start seeing cockroaches in your home, there are likely a number of them as they are very good at hiding.
Spiders — A large number of species of spiders can be found in your home. Some of the most common include: The Black Widow, Brown Recluse, Garden Spider, Hobo Spider, House Spider, and Wolf Spider. Though some spider bites may just cause irritation or swelling, others can pose serious health risks.
Rodents — Mice and rats are quite good and chewing through most things keeping them out of your home. In the process, they can cause thousands of dollars of damage.
Stingers and biters — Some of these insects that may find their way into your home are: Centipedes, Mud Daubers, Scorpions, Tick and Flea control, Wasps, Yellow Jackets and other stinging insects. The pest control company carries special pest control products to target each of these pests.
Pantry pests — These pests include, but are not limited to, Indian Meal Moths, Grain Beetles, Granary Weevils, and Rice Weevils.
Mosquitoes - Aptive employs a range of treatments to combat mosquitoes, including targeted sprays, foggers, and water treatments. Focused efforts are directed at shaded areas, trees, bushes, and under eaves to effectively target mosquitoes on your property.

Is Aptive pest control safe?

Aptive’s goal is to provide customers with professional and effective pest control solutions that reduce the harmful effects of pests. Aptive uses EPA approved products and follows all guidelines for the appropriate use of the products. Aptive is also a member of the EPA’s Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program, a program that engages communities in building awareness and reducing pesticide risk.

What is the benefit of recurring pest control treatments vs one-time treatment as needed?

While pest treatments reduce the general pest population, over time pest populations build back up and treated surfaces lose their protective barrier. One-time treatment effectiveness fades fairly quickly for most pesticides on vegetation, especially as plants continue to grow, generating new untreated surface area, including lawns. We recommend recurring treatments to help manage ongoing activity in outdoor areas and on greenery. Certain areas like cracks and crevices, and non-porous surfaces can provide a stable surface for some products to last longer, however, UV light will degrade the treatment as well. Treatments to the structure of the home can last the longest but have little impact on the pest activity in the yard after a few weeks from one single treatment.

Do you offer interior treatment?

All of our services include exterior treatments with interior coverage when requested at no additional cost. The majority of our customers find that exterior maintenance keeps their home protected, but we are happy to treat inside your home and/or garage whenever you would like.

What if I still see bugs after a treatment?

If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.

What kinds of pests do you treat for?

Aptive treats common pests like ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, wasps, snails, flies, fleas, and ticks. Aptive does not treat any wood-destroying organisms such as termites (exceptions apply), carpenter bees, or carpenter ants. Aptive also does not treat any wildlife, such as squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, rabbits, birds, deer, etc.

How long does the treatment take?

Your Initial Treatment and inspection typically take less than 60 minutes to complete, as our service professional does a full scan of your home and property to assess what products and treatments are best based on your needs. Standard Treatments, which are maintenance treatments, can usually be completed in less than 30 minutes.

Excellent service. Very affordable pest control service and very good at what they do. Absolutely the best pest control company we have ever worked with through the years. Works really well with our busy schedules and doesn’t require anyone to be home to keep our yard and exterior free of fire ants and flying insects such as wasp. Highly recommend company. They have completely changed the way pest management is handled.

Active first contacted me in person when I was facing an infestation of micro ants in my kitchen. I also had red and black carpenter ants that went into the house, and I was desperate. They explained the plan that they would use and how much of the exterior of my house would be treated after they explained the billing process and the amount I said let’s let’s do it, so I gave them a chance and I was very happy I did. All of their services have been outstanding. They do an excellent thorough job whenever I’m there. They explain what they’re doing and ask me if there’s anything else I can they can do while they are here. I need urologist to like after they’re complete, I get an email with their name and what, what they accomplished on this last visit, which I really, really like

The manger chirs is the only reason because he works with my late schedule. the last few companies i have dismissed were because the would sent a tech in the middle of the day. The service fee is more reasonable than what I was paying for the prior service provider, and the technicians coming to the house are polite and seemingly efficient. However, as far as the effectiveness of the pest control service, it is not optimal. I realize that eliminating/controlling ant infestations is challenging but Aptive's approach leaves a lot to be desired.

I use Aptive to treat the exterior area of my home on a quarterly basis. My experience has been positive. The technicians always send a text to advise when they are on their way with an expected arrival time. They are typically friendly, ask if there are any areas of concern and then service the property. After completing treatment they always send some photos of areas they treated. I have not had problems with bugs, so it appears the treatments are working.

Initially I thought he might have not sprayed on my deck but earned he had to get a a new battery for his sprayer. He left to get it fixed, but didn’t tell he would be back so my initial wasn’t very good but when I understood why he had to leave, I thought differently and was very satisfied with his work and persistence in getting what he needed to do his job. Always very helpful for employees of Aptive to equipment in good working condition. It behooves the employer to provide good equipment for the employee so the service he provides isn’t hampered by unreliable equipment,

We had recent massive flooding and the guy who was cleaning and repairing my damage told me he had seen mice in my garage and they were probably in the basement coming in from so much rain. As a prior customer, I was pleasantly surprised as to how Aptive and upgraded their program in the year I have been away from the service. The Pro service I chose meets my rural home needs anticipating what pests are seasonally due to appear and proactively dealing with them. The user computer site, loaded on my phone , is quicker and easier to view my program. My initial service call was also impressive with a uniformed service rep (Jesus) and Op Mgr (Greg) going over the details of the service and validating all my concerns were being addressed.

Aptive pest control has been great for the 5 years I’ve had them , but last month I received a text reminder saying they would be here on the 14th. They no showed, then I called their number and got RoBo bot, she gave be a date of following Thursday. They no showed. I finally saw an Aptive truck come to my neighbors and asked him if there is an actual person I can talk to. He gave me the RoBo number and he said he would try and get in touch with his boss. I never heard back from him so called their number RoBo number again and said to just cancel my service and that did the trick! I got a real live person to talk to. He talked me into staying with Aptive and lowered my price considerably. All in all it was a good choice I made because Aptive always has the friendliest people to work with.

Originally I agreed because of the price, but over time, the price has been all over the place. I was charged about $140 per visit for 2 properties. Then I was charged $99 for each. Then, when I threatened to switch companies, they offered $40 per property, but actually charged me $99 per property. Also, they scheduled a treatment when I did not authorize any treatment. The people at the switchboard seem to not know what they are doing, and they will lie and tell you anything you want to hear.

I have been using Aptive for quite a few years and have no complaints until recently. Now all of a sudden..you don’t come for months….when I try to call it’s all automated. Last time I had so many bugs after you left, I had to buy my own treatment. I know it takes a few days but when it has been over 2 months ..one treatment doesn’t cut. I tried to get another treatment and got absolutely no response. The. I get an email saying they will be here on September 29. Never a time window..nothing more. On the 29th I get a text at 7am saying he is on the way. I am a retired senior and it takes a while to get up and going. The technician was , Duke, a very nice and thorough gentleman. I have no complaints with him. What happened to the nice girl in the office that would take care of our problems?I was so aggravated I wanted to cancel all further service. I called to cancel and Jordan calmed me down and all is well. He even scheduled a future date and time window. He did this all the way from South Africa..how fascinating.
