The technician will identify areas that are at risk for a pest infestation — whether it be an ant, bedbug, spider, cockroach, or rodent problem. The technician will then customize a treatment plan that aims to keep the property pest free all year round.
For most homeowners, it’s not about if the pests return, but when. Aptive offers unlimited free re-services. The treatments are generally done outside of the home, but homeowners can request an indoor treatment at no extra cost.

Aptive Environmental is dedicated to protecting people all over the world from disease-carrying pests and has partnered with the United Nation's “Nothing But Nets” campaign to stop malaria (a disease transmitted by mosquito bites). Aptive donates a portion of the company’s profits to “Nothing But Nets” on an annual basis to provide insecticide-treated bed nets to countries in need. On the Aptive Environmental website, willing customers can donate $10 to the “Nothing But Nets” campaign and send a net to protect those in need.
While Aptive offers general pest control services, the company does not provide services to treat for bed bugs, termites, or moles. Many other pest control companies offer wildlife control, lawn services (fertilization, weed control, lawn care), crawl space services, and attic services (attic insulation and attic restoration). Additionally, Aptive does not treat for mosquitoes.

Aptive Environmental Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to sign a contract?
We require a contract for the first year, but after that we do not require a contract for services.
Is pest control safe for my family or pets?
Yes, it is safe. However, as a precautionary measure, we request you leave your home for two hours when having the inside of your home treated. When we are only treating the outside of your home, we do not require you to be gone.
Do you have a cancellation fee?
We do not have a cancellation fee. However, we sometimes will do promotions on the initial service of the contact and in that case, we do require that the initial service is paid for in full if the contract is cancelled.
What if I still see bugs after a treatment?
If you are still seeing bugs, we will come reservice for free. Every home is different, and occasionally it takes two visits to break up the egg cycles.
How soon before we can expect results?
The services work immediately, but expect it to take 7–10 days for the full effect.
What if it rains after my house is treated?
If it's not a downpour, then the treatment will still be effective. However if there is a super heavy storm, we will be happy to come back and reservice your home.
What kinds of pests do you treat for?
We service all general pests. This includes ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, wasps, yellow jackets, ticks, fleas, centipede, scorpion, mud dauber, pantry pests, and others such as millipedes, snails, earwigs etc.
Note: We do NOT treat for bed bugs, termites, or moles.
How long does the service take?
The initial service takes 45 minutes; the quarterly services take 25 minutes.
What kinds of chemicals or pesticides do you use?
Our main chemicals include Taurus, cy-kick, D-fence, Demand, Sluggo, and Suspend just depending on your pest problem.

I called Aptive Environmental to come out between services bc I saw scorpions on the porch. They came out the very next day. Stephen did an outstanding job spraying and treating everything, even the whole back yard! I couldn't be happier with the service. He explained what he did and precocion we should take with our puppy before treated area is safe. I'm very happy with the service!

Sam was very efficient laying traps and identifying/closing vulnerabilities in the house, both internally and externally. Sam explained everything throughout the process and showed us pictures of the issues that need to be addressed to prevent future problems. Sam was very professional and seemed trustworthy. It has been less than a week, but we have seen no new activity since. I definitely trust these guys.
Eric came to the door, I told him I have MANY wasp nests all over that need to be taken care of. I saw no sign of him ever being in the backyard at all and when I went to check to see if the wasp nests were knocked down, they were all still there! I am not giving a totally negative rating because the phone operators are good and I've had good service in the past.
Clarence was very personable and professional. He was knowledgeable in answering our questions and explaining the concepts of the treatment.

We’re supposed to be last Wednesday and someone called on a recorded line and cancelled our appointment at3:50 and told us they’d get back to us at a later date, so today it was and we had no idea!! Technician was suppose to bring the 2nd bait station yesterday but all he did was service the one I already had. So I'm still waiting for the 2nd station that was supposed to be here when I signed up for the Aptive service over a month ago. So far I am not impressed with Aptive and I'm thinking of changing companies again if this bait station issue is not resolved asap.
The gentlemen that came out today was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The amount of information he provided was truly impressive. Really hope he’s the same person to come next time.

I sent a request to have a service a few weeks ago because of an ant problem. I never received a call to schedule a visit. Then today a technician came for our quarterly service and serviced our front yard only. He never rang the doorbell to attain access to the back yard. My husband, myself and my two teenage sons are home. So now I still have an ant problem in the back yard and in my house that I have been treating myself and didn't even get a proper quarterly service. Please send another technician to do my whole yard.

Nathan T came to the house to do the extermination work this morning. Everything was fine until he told me that I owed $119 for the service. I was very confused because the young man who sold me the service told me that I would be getting my first application for $80 and after 30 days I would get a follow up treatment for free. Then, I would be charged quarterly for the service. This first visit was on June 5, 2020. I thought today was that 30 day follow up spraying that was included in the first charge. Nathan called his supervisor Paul N and explained the situation. First Paul told me I would have to pay $169 to get out of the contract. I was so frustrated that I was ready to pay the fee just to get out of the contract. Paul told me not to worry about it and waived the fee. Paul and Nathan were friendly so the rating does not reflect their service personally. When I first paid my $80 it took weeks for the company to stop sending me invoices even though I paid the company by check on the spot back in June. When I called the office number on the invoice, the phone rang and was never answered. I am concerned that now, I will still be sent invoices even though the manager Paul waived the fee. When I went to review Nathan, so he could get a $5 bonus, the link denied access. Next time, I would rather go with a company that has more of a track record. I thought I was helping a young man get his business started in a tough economy, but I should have gone with my instinct.

Calling into the national call center is a real pain in the rear. Very very long hold times. I asked to be called back and never received a call back. I WANT A PHONE. NUMBER TO MY LOCAL OFFICE!!! I also want the technician to knock on my door so I can talk to them and explain the issue and see what they do about it . That did not happen at this appointment . I’m not happy with Aptive.

The setup process was really easy but then rescheduling my initial appointment was frustrating. I was not present for the initial treatment but when I came home I still saw old spiders nests on the easement and our outdoor dinning set and kids toys where not wiped down. Two days later there is a spider web and spider connected from the umbrella to the patio post. I'm sure the spray works fine and I did see one dead cockroach so that's promising but the spider webs are still on our patio furniture.

I called Jarvis because I had worked with him with a competing pest control company. He was very happy to come out and perform my pest control and start me up with Aaptiv as my pest control company. He did an amazing job as usual and was very attentive around the pond and the dogs. When he was done he sprayed off all of the surfaces to keep the dogs out of any poison and made sure he locked the back gate.

Our technician, Daniel C was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job answering our questions! We did attempt to Click on the link provided in the email to give him a review for the $5.00 bonus but get an error page that says access denied. We do feel that Daniel C went above and beyond and hope that by reviewing his service via this platform gets him the recognition and bonus.
