EPA Approved Pest Control Products

Aptive's pest control products and applications are EPA approved, indicating that they are safe for the environment and your home, and that your health will be protected upon application of your pest control treatment.

Simple and Customizable Pest Control

Aptive doesn't offer a one-size-fits-all pest control solution. Instead, the company offers customizable pest control treatments that will meet your needs and protect your home. The Aptive pest control process is simple and includes the following three steps:

  1. Pick your pest control plan
  2. Get your pest control
  3. Choose treatment frequency

Based on the pest control plan that you choose, a treatment schedule will be determined, ensuring that an Aptive technician visits your home regularly to keep pests away. If pests come back, Aptive offers re-services at no additional cost.

Wide Range of Targeted Pests

Aptive pest control products specialize in eradicating almost any conceivable pest problem:

  • Ants — A number of different types of ants may find their way into your home. Whether it is the Argentine Ant, Fire Ant, Odorous Ant, Pavement Ant, Pharaoh Ant, or Thief Ants it is likely that they are looking for food or water that may have been spilled in the kitchen. It is important to remember that where there is one ant, there is an entire colony. Aptive's pest control products help kill not only the ants that venture into your home, but the entire colony.
  • Cockroaches — Similar to ants, a number of different types of cockroaches exist in the United States. Some include: The American Cockroach, Brown Banded Cockroach, German Cockroach, oriental Cockroach, and Smokybrown Cockroach. If you start seeing cockroaches in your home, there are likely a number of them as they are very good at hiding.
  • Spiders — A large number of species of spiders can be found in your home. Some of the most common include: The Black Widow, Brown Recluse, Garden Spider, Hobo Spider, House Spider, and Wolf Spider. Though some spider bites may just cause irritation or swelling, others can pose serious health risks.
  • Rodents — Mice and rats are quite good and chewing through most things keeping them out of your home. In the process, they can cause thousands of dollars of damage.
  • Stingers and biters — Some of these insects that may find their way into your home are: Centipedes, Mud Daubers, Scorpions, Tick and Flea control, Wasps, Yellow Jackets and other stinging insects. The pest control company carries special pest control products to target each of these pests.
  • Pantry pests — These pests include, but are not limited to, Indian Meal Moths, Grain Beetles, Granary Weevils, and Rice Weevils.
  • Mosquitoes - Aptive employs a range of treatments to combat mosquitoes, including targeted sprays, foggers, and water treatments. Focused efforts are directed at shaded areas, trees, bushes, and under eaves to effectively target mosquitoes on your property.
  • Other common pests — Depending on the season and your geographical location, it is not uncommon to see: Aphids, Crickets, Earwigs, Millipedes, Pill Bugs, Silverfish Bugs, and Snails.

If you are unsure whether or not Aptive offers services to remove a certain type of insect, contact a customer representative for inquiries.

United to Beat Malaria Campaign

Aptive Pest Control is dedicated to protecting people all over the world from disease-carrying pests and has partnered with the United Nation's "United to Beat Malaria" campaign to stop malaria (a disease transmitted by mosquito bites). Aptive donates a portion of the company's profits to United to Beat Malaria on an annual basis to provide insecticide-treated bed nets to countries in need.

The Bottom Line

Although relatively young compared to other companies in the pest control industry and it's limited geographic coverage, Aptive has a lot to offer. The company's pest control products and applications are EPA approved, indicating that the company is mindful about its environmental impact. Rather than offering a generic treatment plan, Aptive technicians create a personalized solution that meets the direct needs of the customer.

The majority of our Aptive Pest Control review catalog (read below) reveal that customers are happy with the great service they received and felt that the service technicians were attentive to their home's unique needs. Aptive Pest Control Frequently Asked Questions

Is Aptive pest control safe?

Aptive’s goal is to provide customers with professional and effective pest control solutions that reduce the harmful effects of pests. Aptive uses EPA approved products and follows all guidelines for the appropriate use of the products. Aptive is also a member of the EPA’s Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program, a program that engages communities in building awareness and reducing pesticide risk.

What is the benefit of recurring pest control treatments vs one-time treatment as needed?

While pest treatments reduce the general pest population, over time pest populations build back up and treated surfaces lose their protective barrier. One-time treatment effectiveness fades fairly quickly for most pesticides on vegetation, especially as plants continue to grow, generating new untreated surface area, including lawns. We recommend recurring treatments to help manage ongoing activity in outdoor areas and on greenery. Certain areas like cracks and crevices, and non-porous surfaces can provide a stable surface for some products to last longer, however, UV light will degrade the treatment as well. Treatments to the structure of the home can last the longest but have little impact on the pest activity in the yard after a few weeks from one single treatment.

Do you offer interior treatment?

All of our services include exterior treatments with interior coverage when requested at no additional cost. The majority of our customers find that exterior maintenance keeps their home protected, but we are happy to treat inside your home and/or garage whenever you would like.

What if I still see bugs after a treatment?

If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.

What kinds of pests do you treat for?

Aptive treats common pests like ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, wasps, snails, flies, fleas, and ticks. Aptive does not treat any wood-destroying organisms such as termites (exceptions apply), carpenter bees, or carpenter ants. Aptive also does not treat any wildlife, such as squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, rabbits, birds, deer, etc.

How long does the treatment take?

Your Initial Treatment and inspection typically take less than 60 minutes to complete, as our service professional does a full scan of your home and property to assess what products and treatments are best based on your needs. Standard Treatments, which are maintenance treatments, can usually be completed in less than 30 minutes.

Customer service is unacceptable and apparently training is poor. I received a notice just 5 minutes before the team member was set to arrive (the standard is supposed to be 30-60 minutes) to which I responded that I was not home. I did not hear back from the team member and assumed they did not come. It turns out that they came, did the outside of our house (whereas they are supposed to do both inside and outside) and then left a gate that was fastened OPEN. My dog escaped, attacked another dog, and I was injured in the process. The team member entered the visit as if it was normal, charged full price (while actually not having done the inside) and also did not send photos after. I can assume this was a new or poorly trained person, but when I called customer service, AFTER hearing what the issue was, I was on hold for over 25 minutes before speaking to a manager. I cancelled my service and more than 2 weeks later still have not received a refund for that ill-fated visit.

We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention, Alice. The situation you've described is deeply concerning, particularly given the impact it had. We can understand why receiving limited notice, believing service would not be performed, and then discovering the visit had been completed under those circumstances would be incredibly upsetting. It's also troubling to hear about the communication challenges you encountered afterward while attempting to address your concerns.

We'd like the chance to review the details of your experience, including the treatment, follow-up interactions, and the unresolved refund concern. Please email socialmedia@goaptive.com with your service address and any additional information you'd like to share. Our team would be happy to help and hope to hear from you soon!

the amount of money i paid was not worth the service i received. they sprayed on rain days and the product was just washed off. Customer service was not helpful when i tried to cancel the service. They offered to reduce my service cost from $99 to $49 if i would stay a customer. i agreed against my better judgement. then i found out they would only show up every 60 days instead of 30 for the reduced price. That was the final straw. I canceled the service. Then i find out they that apparently this is an 18 month contract. Since i was 9 months into there was an exit charge of $179. I will never do business with this company again and make sure i tell everyone i know to avoid the Aptive trap.

I have been with Aptive for 11 months. I have had to chase them down as they have missed multiple appts, they have failed to take care of the pest problems - I still have wasps and ants - and they said I would be able to cancel without penalty if I was unsatisfied with my service. Well I am very unsatisfied and they are saying I must pay $199 cancellation fee. That is absurd. They have failed to uphold their end of the contract and they want to charge me a cancellation fee. The final straw was when they said they were sending out a technician the same day, and no one showed up AGAIN! Another missed appt. This business just wants to charge too much for miserable services. DO NOT USE.

Beyond Disappointed: Do Not Hire Aptive Environmental - "technician" spent all of 1 min in my backyard "spraying" Sent me bogus pictures and a laundry list of what he supposively did. Lie. I was standing inside my home watching. Called 4 numbers to talk with local company located on Dodge and instead was connected to call center 3 times. The fourth number, supplied by a Tim M. Manager, using text messaging, for questions/concerns is no longer in service.

This company has nice technicians, the business end of this company are the worst! Sent a number of requests to stop service due to the terrible scheduling service app. I repeatedly sent emails to customer service email....no return ever. I finally made a call to the customer service phone. the rep was nice but English was not her first language and was just a call center.... not in Utah or Texas. Every way of communicating with this company is just wasted time. I did speak with the call center and stated that I was billed for a visit to my home that I canceled- $59. I cancelled my service and the call center person told me that I would be bill $199 termination fee. Terrible business practice, already upset with how long it took to actually cancel service or get someone to answer my request .

Aptive has been servicing our home for 2 years. In November, the technician sprayed the ceiling corners, window seals, and air vent areas instead of the floor/bottom corners. Drip stains across our painted walls are throughout the main family room, bedroom and hallway. After 2 months of follow up which included 3 emails, 4 phone calls, 2 escalations and text message correspondence with the local operations manager (2 no shows), there has been no action taken or progress made to resolve the property damage. Further, during the last phone call, I learned there was a note put on the file that the issue had been resolved and fixed on January 20, which is false. Very disappointed in the lack of follow through on promised actions and the dame will cost me thousands of dollars in repainting.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They will make you sign several contracts in order to get you trapped. The price is already steep, so the early cancellation fee of $200 is salt in the wound. You must pay monthly even if they do not provide services every month. Recently they billed me an extra $431.42 just to refill rat traps that didn’t need refilling. For context, the monthly payment is $85.42. This should have covered the process done today because I have been subscribed to this service since May of 2025. The last time they came to my home 1/23/2026. And got billed $431.42, I’ve trying to log into my account, however their website is undergoing maintenance. Do not use this company they are not honest.

Aptive charges clients for visits that do not take place. On Jan 13 a note was submitted stating they serviced my property however my dog was out back and services was not done. When I had communication with them I questioned why I was billed they confirmed the property was not serviced but did not remove the charge. I checked the camera they never even came to the back of my property. When I closed out my account they are trying to charge me 200.00. I will be reporting them to the BBB. I also question all of the other visits now. Do not use this company.

Worst customer service EVER. When they schedule a service they make you wait all day because they cannot give you a window timeframe. Today was the last straw. I received 2 text messages over the last few days saying I have a service scheduled for Jan 5. I waited all day and no one came. I called Aptive and they said the system auto rescheduled me and yet I didn’t receive a text message or phone call to explain this to me. They wasted my whole day yet again. This is a constant issue with this company.

Were it possible to leave 0/5 stars that would have been my rating. Aptive is currently under investigation for the death of my dog and a neighbor's dog. I was told by the persistent salesperson, well a lot of things, first, and most importantly that their products are safe around pets and children. THIS IS NOT TRUE THEY ARE NOT PET SAFE! The bait they use to kill smaller animals, like mice and other rodents, is a 2nd generation anticoagulant rodenticide, call difethialone, you will see it on your statements of what was used, The 2nd generation means it is more powerful than then the difethialone that used to be used. It is extremely toxic whether your animal eats the bait itself or from eating an animal that ate the bait. Our bait boxes, which I didn't ask to be used by the way, I wanted spiders and ants gone, every single month were moved. Something, bigger than a mouse, was moving them 15-30 feet, all of them and I would inform the techs and they just refilled them and put them back, because they would be open and empty. Finally on the 4th month of this, the 4th month, they staked them down, and I still didn't know what the lethal toxic ingredient was until I finally received the statement I should have from the technician and I read the word. I know of it from a dog that ate some of a bait cube once and it killed him, so I knew the moment I read the word what it was and it is, nor has it ever been, considered safe for animals. Do you have an outdoor cat that kills birds, because this stuff is extremely lethal in birds, then you could have a dead cat on your hands and no idea why. Always look at what is being put on your property, down to the finest detail. And...they told me, because this was NOT IN MY CONTRACT, that they don't have to listed what pesticides they use in the contract, and in fact they did not or I would have seen it and never signed up in the first place, which I did just to get rid of the sales guy who wouldn't stop coming by my house. Aptive, as in it's owner's David Royce, Vess Pearson and stake holder Citation Capital are making millions off of "PET SAGE" tags to it's service, and in the meantime they are killing our pets, with no concern whatsoever. I reported to the company, who never even apologized for the loss, except the summer salesman who signed me up, he was who relayed the pet safe, because that is what the company told him. They aren't even honest with their employees. One employee told me that when they do her property they use a way stronger solution because otherwise it isn't effective. She was a horribly insensitive woman who only called to let me know they would not be charging me the $199 contract cancellation, how sweet, they wouldn't refund the other months of service though, and so the credit card company will handle that and because no one took the concern to heart in the least, I had zero reassurance it would be looked into, so I reported them to the State of Colorado Department of Agriculture. No one will understand how much you love your pets more than you will, and they will act accordingly. Plus, their employees never had any protect gear on when handling the bait, no masks, gloves, nothing, except when they came in your home they put booties on so they did not track in dirt. The very least of my concerns. They took them off when they left the house and went to spray and refill bait boxes. Had I thought about it I would have gotten pictures of the employees without protective gear, but I did have photos of the bait boxes moved, quite a distance, even after staking them and reporting that to the company who took no action to keep it from reoccurring. How many animals died because of it, I guess we will never know, and neither does Aptive. No consideration was given for the cost to put down my animals or the agony of losing them, not even an apology from anyone who actually still works for Aptive. What a company huh?

My experience with Aptive Pest Control was disappointing due to unclear information regarding pricing and cancellation terms. At the time of enrollment, I was told that the service could be canceled at any time, which influenced my decision to sign up. When I later attempted to cancel, I learned that there were cancellation fees and contract terms that had not been clearly explained at the start. Had this information been communicated more clearly, I would have made a different decision. I encourage others considering this service to ensure all pricing and cancellation details are fully explained and provided in writing before enrolling.

In September, an Aptive rep came door-to-door and sold me on one single treatment with immediate cancellation. I paid what I understood was a one-time fee. Then Aptive scheduled/attempted another visit the following month with about 30 minutes notice, which I never agreed to. Since then, I’ve been trying to cancel for over 30 days. To make it worse, their “customer service” email doesn’t even receive emails. When I finally reached customer service by phone to cancel, I was told I was actually enrolled in a “Pro plan” for $120/month — something I did not knowingly sign up for. The service technician then tried to “discount” it to $80 (what I paid the first time), and when I again said cancel, he told me there’s a $199 cancellation fee and that he would be invoicing me. This whole experience has been exhausting and feels intentionally designed to trap customers into recurring billing and fees they never agreed to. Terrible customer service, misleading sales tactics, and aggressive cancellation practices. I do not recommend Aptive to anyone.

I purchased a home to rehab that was empty but had fleas. I paid a onetime service fee of $323.67. They came out on time and sprayed the home. I told the technician that the house is completely empty and to spray heavy. The house was fine for 3 days then I started noticing the fleas again. I called Aptive and requested that they come back out and spray again. They told me I would have to sign a 1-year contract in order for them to come kill the fleas I had already paid to have killed. They said this happens sometimes and they will just come every few weeks until they are gone. I declined because no one told me this when I paid for the one-time service. The rep on the phone told me he couldn't approve them to come back out, and his manager would review and call me back. That was 2 weeks ago, and no one have bothered to call. I would not recommend Aptive at this point. Why offer one time service on empty homes with no pets and not kill the fleas? why not just tell me you don't care instead of telling me someone would call me back to resolve the issue? I didn't ask for any money back or anything additional. Just kill the fleas I paid to have killed.

Thank you for sharing this with us, J. It's disappointing to hear that the results from the initial treatment didn't meet expectations and that your attempts to follow up afterward left you feeling unsupported.

We want each customer to feel confident that they understand what to expect and receive clear communication regarding any next steps. We understand why the combination of recurring flea activity and the lack of follow-up you were expecting would be frustrating, and we appreciate you sharing these details, as feedback like this helps highlight the importance of setting clear expectations and providing timely communication.

Absolutely terrible company! Has more than 1200 complaints with the BBB and a 1 star yelp review! And as a former customer, I can tell you the poor reviews are 100% accurate!! My home was overrun with bugs! The number left with me when I agreed to the service was never answered nor were text messages responded to. When I finally got in touch with customer service they were incredibly rude, talking over me and disregarding everything I said. When it became obvious that I could not continue using this company due to their poor product and terrible customer service, I called to cancel. The customer service agent apologized for the poor service, stated she had stopped my service, removed my credit card information and told me she would have a manager reach out to "make things right." This was in July. In October, I still haven't heard from any manager, but my card starts being charged again and I get a message that they have scheduled my service. I call and am told my service was never cancelled and that if I want to cancel I have to pay $199.......I have to pay money because your service is terrible?!?!?! What?!?!?! Not happening. Ask again to have my credit card information deleted and request a refund for the money charged to my card in October after canceling my service in July. Not only was the fraudulent charge not refunded, but about two weeks later they charge my card $199! The card I had asked to have removed from my account back in July! Crooks. Looking to cheat people out of their hard earned money. Wish I had been smart enough to read reviews before I agreed to try their services!

I was in a quarterly plan with this company for quite sometime paying $185 per quarter. I don’t have any complaints about their technicians who were all very nice. My issue started when one of their salesmen came to my door & misled me into signing up for their mosquito treatment add on, which he told me would only add an additional $10 to my bill.. so I agreed to the service. Suddenly I was shocked to realize when looking through my credit card statements, that they started charging me $196 per MONTH since July! That’s a lot more than an extra $10 each quarter! Then when I called to complain, they refused to issue me a refund for those charges, so I cancelled. Now they lost a loyal long time customer… and unfortunately I’m also like $600 poorer. Not a loss I can easily afford. I definitely do not recommend this company and their shady sales tactics. This was a lesson for me to make sure to always read the fine print & not believe the words some salesperson tells me.

I purchased their service for my elderly mother, who had plans to move in the next few months, but wanted something to take care of the bugs she was seeing. I told the salesperson that she would be moving in a few months, and he told me that I could cancel the contract whenever, no problem. He forgot to mention it would cost us $200 if we cancelled within 2 years. Mom's on SS, so I guess I'm eating that. Then the person who was supposed to cancel the service, never cancelled it, and a technician came out to the house. Hopefully they don't charge me for that - I will dispute it. All I can say is beware of the bait and switch sales pitch and make sure you're ready to be locked in.

Aptive is good at getting 5* reviews because the one thing they are excellent in is sending reviews. I do think customers are happy in the beginning with their service. We have been customers of Aptive for over a year now and are locked into a contract. It is not cancel whenever (as advertised on some platforms). We have to pay out our 2 year contract in order to cancel. We pay roughly $130 each time they come and they come every 30-40 days (not what I was sold when signing up). Their solution does not get rid of the insects and critters. We still have all kinds. Whatever you do, don't ask them to treat for mosquitos because you pay extra (which they don't tell you) and it is like sugar water. Fortunately, I was able to cancel the mosquito add-on. Aptive is a well-oiled machine. They have smooth salesmen that make it sounds like a great company. I

I truly hope that no ones falls for the bad service this company provides. I let them know multiple times the service did not work and actually made some problems worse. Then on one of the appointments the tech shows up, my friend was trimming the bushes went inside to get out of their way. When they went back outside as they were leaving the clippers were gone with them! One of the appointments they claimed to have come out they never showed up. And to add insult to injury when i called to cancel this sorry service with them they still charged me $199.00! I talked them about this twice with no resolve. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANY AND IT'S SORRY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have tried to cancel my account several times, but Aptive will not let me cancel early without a penalty. I am having to pay $199 for early termination. The last service technician that came to my home was here less than 4 minutes and did not even come up to my front porch. I am very dissatisfied with the service that I have received.

the sales person told me the service would be every 3 months and when the guy came to my house. The agreement i signed apparently was a contract with a hefty cancelation fee and turns out to be monthly. I was sitting here waiting for the 3 month visit. Apparently i now owe $300.00 for the guy to spray 5 min 3 months ago. i sent an email to one email listed on site. The told me to email another address, Then that email told me not to email them. So who exactly am i supposed to talk to about being swindled?

Were it possible for me to give one star, I absolutely would. This company has zero transparency regarding how many treatments you have left under your contract. Even once your contract expires, they will continue to show up and, of course, bill you. It is virtually impossible to get them to agree to stop showing up every month. And they refuse to provide written confirmation that the contract has been fulfilled and is no longer in effect. DO NOT USE!

This company is not trustworthy. The sales man told me that my plan is to for them to spray every 40-50 days, but in reality, they sprayed every two months. In addition, they told me there is no penalty if you cancel the plan, after 8 months, I really do not see effective result, there are still bugs on the windows, so I tried to cancel it, they charged me $200!!! For early cancelation. Never use it, either the salesman or the company is lying.

The customer service representative that answered my phone call was very professional but could not resolve my issue. Aptive team was very unprofessional and provided me with very poor service and accordingly I requested to stop the service. Aptive team did not care about my concern and only cared about one outstanding bill. I paid that bill although I have not receive any service at that time. Now Aptive is repeating the same thing and posting another bill without any service received. It’s a vicious cycle Aptive keeps scheduling service visits although I called them many times advising them not to send any technician to my house but they keep posting invoices on my acount for about ~$49 without any service provided and keep asking me to pay to clear my balance. Unbelievable business.

Where to begin…from day one, the company was horrific to work with!!!!! I was told one thing by the original salesman, but when it came time to have my appointment, it was cancelled because I was supposed to be home for the initial treatment, but because I have a very busy schedule, I was told by both sales and supervisors that I do not need to be home and this back and forth went on for about three times, until I made a day work in my schedule and the crew that came out was 28 minutes late past the schedule window. Afterwards, I called the company and they agreed to give me my first three treatments for free, but this wasn’t the case as I have been charged for both services so far. I wanted to cancel my contract with them, but a fee was in place to cancel, so I was told to wait out the contract expiration and then it doesn’t cost you anything, except a supervisor told me I could cancel my contract, but that is not the case. I have been hung up on several times by supervisors, mislead, lied to, and false promises have been made by them. The absolute worst company to work with by far. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy, you’ve been warned.

The guy came to our door and the services sounded great. They came out two days later after we got rid of our previous bug people and the bugs started coming back slowly. After a month you couldn’t even be out in our yard for the mosquitos. We called them multiple times to come out and they would spray and the bugs would be gone for a day or so and be right back. This went on for a few weeks. Finally we canceled the card that we had service with them through and went back to our local pest company. Do not waste your money. It is a scam. Plus when you call customer service it’s not even someone from this country.

Hello, Hope you are well. This is more about scheduling issues. I am not sure how customer service updates their technicians but somewhere it is not working. This has been happening almost every time where either technician comes way early than the given time window, or way late. Also, they are not calling 30 mins ahead of time. Today our service window is from 4pm to 7pm. Brandon came at 7am in the morning knocking hard on the door. I understand few minutes here and there but we have schedule for reasons. We had just woke up and that loud noise of knocking door made us fearful. When I requested the person please come back in the scheduled window he started explaining. Finally he agreed to come back in the committed window. Then again they came around 3pm in the middle of the my client meeting, where I can not come and open the door. We have different meetings and schedules that's why we made an effort to schedule specific time. I am not sure how hard it is to come in the committed window of 4pm to 7pm. Also, call 30 mins before so we can be ready. If can not done every time than I feel that there is no accountability nor care for customer's request. I am still waiting today now in the actual window for them to come for service. I have the feeling they will not come in the actual window at all like last few times. I hope this can be addressed. Thank you.

Do not use Aptive. We paid extra specifically to have mosquito treatment included in our service — it was the only reason we switched providers. Despite this being in our contract and repeated reminders to both technicians and customer service, they have never actually treated for mosquitoes. Their techs don’t seem to understand how mosquito control works — they just spread granules for ants and call it a day. No spraying into trees or shrubs, no effective treatment, no accountability. The company is inflexible, unresponsive, and clearly not delivering the service they’re paid for. Extremely disappointing. Avoid Aptive.

★☆☆☆☆ – Total Scam, Stay Away I strongly advise against using Aptive Pest Control. Their products do not work — plain and simple. The mosquito treatment was completely ineffective. I noticed zero difference after the service, despite their promises. Worse, I was quoted $800 for termite traps, which I agreed to only because I was told it included monthly inspections at $59 and that I could cancel at any time. That was a lie. When I tried to cancel, I was met with runaround excuses, hidden fees, and unhelpful customer service. They make it nearly impossible to get out of their contract. This company will scam you with slick sales tactics, lock you into unnecessary services, and then provide cheap, ineffective treatments. You truly get what you pay for — and in this case, even that’s a stretch. Don’t fall for it.

Terrible customer service. You will never get hold of them. When you call, you are directed to a call center. The wait is over 30 minutes. When you cancel, there's a fee, over $100. So it is not a cancel whenever you want. Beware of this company.

They put in so much effort to not do their job. The first service was amazing, everything following has been like pulling teeth. I have to call them (roughly 2-3 times weekly) to get an appointment scheduled, and they don’t offer recurring appointments to be scheduled. When the technicians finally do come out they sweep spider webs so it “looks” like they did something and then leave. No spraying, no treatments, no anything. I have spiders/ ants/ stink bugs/ mice & rats/ etc. that I have taken care of by myself because Aptive can’t be bothered to do their job

Anything they could do to avoid actually doing the work spray my front door and consider it work complete I’ve had enough in the day I canceled. I was charged early on my billing cycle when I advised the customer service representative. He told me we can come out and service at one more time but no refund was available. This place is a scam. If I could give less than one star I would. I have more bug bites than ever. They don't show when they say they do. I have ants, moles, tics, and mosquitos. They have not helped in any way whatsoever. Then you get a call and are told how they are going to help. But no one shows and when they do they focus on everything but what you wanted. The salesman that came to my door lied. Do NOT trust company. He stated that they sprayed for bees and I showed him where the area was. This was the main reason , I signed with the company. The salesman also told me the first application was free which it was not and I was charged. I contacted the company after the paper they left after treating did not state anything about treating the bee area, and was told that they do not treat bees. I explained what the salesman stated but was stilled charged. It is NOT an amazing company when they lie and then do not reimburse you. Their survey also ask if you were treated for bees/ wasps. Never sent me a receipt of the contract nor bill. Only the best rating show on their reviews.

I heard a very aggressive knock at my door, thinking it was a neighbor needing something, I immediately opened it. That was my first regret. I had the “pleasure” of dealing with someone who questioned if I was the owner of the home with a certain tone, didn’t introduce himself or ask me for my name and went into his whole song and dance without me getting a word in. I gave every hint that I was busy and needing to leave…out of the blue he asked if I’d want treatment today, even after telling him I’m already on a monthly payment with a different company. Upon telling him I wasn’t interested at this time, he didn’t thank me for my time and rudely left. If you want someone’s business, I highly suggest you make someone feel appreciated and well informed…not rip their current decisions on pest control and act like it’s surprising that you’re in fact the home owner. Try to be more Adaptive and less “Aptive”
