My technician Jerome was on time and was very meticulous in treating all areas outside/inside the house for insects. He took his time, but was very efficient and was in and out in no time at all. I have recommended Aptive to my friends and a few are now paying customers. It is the Technicians that make the Company so successful. Employees like Gerome that make Aptive have such great success. and take such pride in doing a good job and being so courteous and professional to the customer. La Ron performed a quarterly service today and was extremely helpful in addressing new wasp nests in our shrubs and retaining wall lights. He eradicated the wasps and nest in the shrubs today, however the process required to treat the light fixtures is slower and more complicated. Spraying the fixtures would damage the electronic components, so a powder was used to kill the wasps over a few days, leaving the nests to be removed later. The process, products used and follow up required was explained. He even left some product to use should wasps return before the nests can be removed next week. Thanks La Ron!

Inspected eaves and exterior windows for wasp nests, spider webs and spider egg sacs. Removed any harborage or nest activity found on front, back and sides of home. Applied Insecticidal barrier treatment around foundation for crawling pest activity Applied insecticide crack and crevice treatment by exterior doors, windows and vents for crawling pest activity and to prevent pest entry into the home. The technician also treated a yellow-jacket nest I pointed out several yards away from the house and set mouse traps in our crawl space to ease my concern of the mere possibility of mice activity. He left the area clean and locked the gate behind him.

I had service yesterday performed by David, who introduced himself to me when I opened the door. He asked if I had any specific concerns since the last service. We went over the problem areas. He asked if I noticed any changes in the insect population in the yard. I told him that there had been an enormous increase in spider webs of the messy variety, indicating widows, though I had yet to see one. I brought up the white moths that were present while we chatted. Their caterpillars are VERY damaging to plants and flowers. He said they had no treatment for flying insects, I told him I would use hair spray on them, which he found interesting. He went on to service the yard, the fence, under the lips of my large outdoor planters and raised beds, the normal spots on the outside of the house and patio, my potting area, under the "handles" of the garbage bins, around the hose bibs, etc. He rang the bell to advise he was done and to say thanks. Then he said he was going to do a little more around the entrance and be off. Very nice man; thorough, professional and pleasant. I like the Aptive personnel as well as the service they provide. I have been with Aptive for over a year and have only good things to say about them. Their services are guaranteed. They IMMEDIATELY respond to my emails.

The representative of Aptive showed up on my doorsteps at the wright time, I was getting really frustrated with earwigs and spiders coming inside in our rental home. I know the house wasn't treated for a while ( over 1 year ago for a spiders) . Your representative Cameron was very knowledgeable, soft spoken and I got all the info I needed to be sure that this was the company I wanted to go with. Next was the technician's visit set for 9-11 am. Eli arrived little bit after 9 am, which was perfect timing for me. He was very respectful and kind, he even put a shoe's covers to not to bring any dirt from the outside . Love it and appreciate the gesture. Eli left me a little quote - on the "how we did" flyer- by Mahatma Gandhi, little personal touch which makes you smile. I haven't seen anything inside and almost nothing outside after his visit till the big rain on Saturday (2 days after treatment). Couple spiders in our lower level and earwig in the kitchen , but I know that it was first treatment for the house since a long time and things can try to come back inside, it takes time. I would still give 5 stars for both of gentlemen, Cameron and Eli for the professionalism and kindness. Will be calling to request Eli to be my specialist. Thank you

I am pleased to share that Fabian B is a excellent representative of the Aptive Team. He was professional yet friendly. He freely engaged in conversation during his service. He was not able to service the outside of the house due to the rain. He assured me that another request for service would be automatically scheduled based upon the notes he would enter. Fabian was most attentive to his task. Not once did I have to say “ You missed an area.” . As a customer, I appreciated this thoroughness. Fernando was our sales rep. He was professional and knowledgeable. A good salesman. Alex was our technician today. He arrived on time and presented himself and Aptive in a very professional manner. He clearly explained what he was going to do and made sure that I understood. He asked several times times if I had any questions. I believe he performed our service with care and thoroughness. He checked in with me when he was done and again made sure I understood what was done and what would happen next. He told me if we saw any bugs between treatments to call immediately. I am impressed with the caliber of employees with Aptive. Alex is exceptional. I give him an A+.

Joseph was courteous and very helpful. He listened to our concerns regarding the scorpions we found inside our house. He offered advice and provided glue traps and powder to try to alleviate our problem. Unfortunately, the last person before him was so fast and cursory that we believe that is why we found scorpions so soon after the other man's visit. Also, the other guy failed to do my office/study we he was here and that is where I found a baby scorpion awhile after his visit. But, Joseph, thankfully took the Necessary time to treat our home properly; and, hopefully, prevent another call-out to our home.

We had our second application on Monday 7/15. Chris was the service representative. Our expectations were high based on our initial application by Savanna and Matt. We were pleasantly surprised that Chris did an equally great job. He is to be commended for his professionalism and his knowledge of what we needed done. He went beyond in his service - after completing our service I had forgotten to mention a wasp nest under our sliding board by our pool. Very nice service guy. He did everything my wife requested and he was very polite. This was a return service due to the last guy seemed to not do a great job because we were seeing more spiders than we have in a long time. The service guy explained that using the straw was not the recommended procedure for the base boards which my wife said he used the straw through the complete house and very sporadic like here and there, for a constant line of good defense. He also said that the last guy used the wrong chemical that was normally used as a deterrent and not a killer. This all makes sense why we were seeing more spiders than ever. The last guy also told us that the inside of the house didn't need a lot of chemicals due to the fact that the spiders are outside and don't want to be in the house while temps were warmer during summer time. He said that's where the food was. My wife and I question that due to seeing so many spiders lately and last time we checked the temps are warm outside. I hope this will take care of these spiders.

Alfred came out and did a wonderful job. HE had to deal w/a huge paper wasp nest full of hundreds of wasps at a very difficult closed in area. He also had to deal w/mud wasps on the front porch and made sure to inspect property and found other regular wasps nests and took care of them. He did a wonderful job. NIce, professional, cordial. We called regarding small ants in the kitchen which come in when we get a ton of rain, an hour before he got there, no ants, his timing was perfect as we had an ant swarm in our kitchen a few minutes before he arrived. He put out lots of gel bate in the kitchen, just not in one area like other techs and also did the outside window as it seemed they may had been coming from around window siding. We are always happy to see Alfred as he is always professional, courteous of our home and careful not to track dirt or bugs inside. He's an asset to your company! Thank you, Jill and Greg Sater

Today I elected to get my second home serviced also to help eliminate the bug problem there. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the care and attention to detail that Lenzy provided. He covered all the bases in a most professional manner. And because of the additional challages I face in this older, garden setting home in McKinney’s Historic District the value of his attention to detail is appreciated to a higher level with the control of pests. I all of a sudden have a rat problem inside my house. I called last evening and your service technician came very early this morning and professionally helped me with the situation. He explained what he was doing and why. He also explained about rats and their habits. On his way out he also knocked down all of the visible wasp nests that have grown on my back covered deck. My technicians name was Adam. He gave me a reasonable explanation about what to expect and how we might solve this problem. I appreciated his patience with me as I was definitely feeling uncomfortable in this situation of having a rat inside my house. I suppose I should also mention that as a customer of Aptive this extra service call was absolutely free.

Josh was very thorough and very professional. He listened to my concerns, and treated all of the areas that I requested of him. He was considerate of not spraying my blooming flowers so he wouldn’t hurt the bees. I’m giving him the five star review, but holding my opinion of how well the product works until I can see the results. This was my first treatment. I have been a customer of Another company That I have been quite happy with. The only reason I switch to active was because of the pricing. I reserve judgment on its performance until I can see the results. When I called into talk to customer service I was disappointed to only have a recording and be told that someone would get back to me before tomorrow that is not OK with me. I give Josh the five stars but not the company so far.

Terrible customer service. You will never get hold of them. When you call, you are directed to a call center. The wait is over 30 minutes. When you cancel, there's a fee, over $100. So it is not a cancel whenever you want. Beware of this company.

Deceptive practices. I asked 4+ times on the phone to have a technician come every 3 months. They tried to send someone every 2 months each time. I finally had enough. Avoid this company. You are in a contract once they start FYI.

I was with the company for a year didn’t see much improvement at all. They would schedule appointments. Send you a text. Never knock or call when they arrive. Anything they could do to avoid actually doing the work spray my front door and consider it work complete I’ve had enough in the day I canceled. I was charged early on my billing cycle when I advised the customer service representative. He told me we can come out and service at one more time but no refund was available. This place is a scam. Complete waste of money.

Used them for months saw no difference in them being here or not. Tthey missed a month without contacting me so I cancelled my plan they charged me over two months price to cancel. So it’s a company that will skip servicing your home charge you anyways and then charge you on the way out the door. If you wanna pay for four months of service to never see them a single time this is the business for you…..

Where to begin…from day one, the company was horrific to work with!!!!! I was told one thing by the original salesman, but when it came time to have my appointment, it was cancelled because I was supposed to be home for the initial treatment, but because I have a very busy schedule, I was told by both sales and supervisors that I do not need to be home and this back and forth went on for about three times, until I made a day work in my schedule and the crew that came out was 28 minutes late past the schedule window. Afterwards, I called the company and they agreed to give me my first three treatments for free, but this wasn’t the case as I have been charged for both services so far. I wanted to cancel my contract with them, but a fee was in place to cancel, so I was told to wait out the contract expiration and then it doesn’t cost you anything, except a supervisor told me I could cancel my contract, but that is not the case. I have been hung up on several times by supervisors, mislead, lied to, and false promises have been made by them. The absolute worst company to work with by far. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy, you’ve been warned.

The guy came to our door and the services sounded great. They came out two days later after we got rid of our previous bug people and the bugs started coming back slowly. After a month you couldn’t even be out in our yard for the mosquitos. We called them multiple times to come out and they would spray and the bugs would be gone for a day or so and be right back. This went on for a few weeks. Finally we canceled the card that we had service with them through and went back to our local pest company. Do not waste your money. It is a scam. Plus when you call customer service it’s not even someone from this country.

Hello, Hope you are well. This is more about scheduling issues. I am not sure how customer service updates their technicians but somewhere it is not working. This has been happening almost every time where either technician comes way early than the given time window, or way late. Also, they are not calling 30 mins ahead of time. Today our service window is from 4pm to 7pm. Brandon came at 7am in the morning knocking hard on the door. I understand few minutes here and there but we have schedule for reasons. We had just woke up and that loud noise of knocking door made us fearful. When I requested the person please come back in the scheduled window he started explaining. Finally he agreed to come back in the committed window. Then again they came around 3pm in the middle of the my client meeting, where I can not come and open the door. We have different meetings and schedules that's why we made an effort to schedule specific time. I am not sure how hard it is to come in the committed window of 4pm to 7pm. Also, call 30 mins before so we can be ready. If can not done every time than I feel that there is no accountability nor care for customer's request. I am still waiting today now in the actual window for them to come for service. I have the feeling they will not come in the actual window at all like last few times. I hope this can be addressed. Thank you.

Do not use Aptive. We paid extra specifically to have mosquito treatment included in our service — it was the only reason we switched providers. Despite this being in our contract and repeated reminders to both technicians and customer service, they have never actually treated for mosquitoes. Their techs don’t seem to understand how mosquito control works — they just spread granules for ants and call it a day. No spraying into trees or shrubs, no effective treatment, no accountability. The company is inflexible, unresponsive, and clearly not delivering the service they’re paid for. Extremely disappointing. Avoid Aptive.

★☆☆☆☆ – Total Scam, Stay Away I strongly advise against using Aptive Pest Control. Their products do not work — plain and simple. The mosquito treatment was completely ineffective. I noticed zero difference after the service, despite their promises. Worse, I was quoted $800 for termite traps, which I agreed to only because I was told it included monthly inspections at $59 and that I could cancel at any time. That was a lie. When I tried to cancel, I was met with runaround excuses, hidden fees, and unhelpful customer service. They make it nearly impossible to get out of their contract. This company will scam you with slick sales tactics, lock you into unnecessary services, and then provide cheap, ineffective treatments. You truly get what you pay for — and in this case, even that’s a stretch. Don’t fall for it.

The salesman that came to my door lied. Do NOT trust company. He stated that they sprayed for bees and I showed him where the area was. This was the main reason , I signed with the company. The salesman also told me the first application was free which it was not and I was charged. I contacted the company after the paper they left after treating did not state anything about treating the bee area, and was told that they do not treat bees. I explained what the salesman stated but was stilled charged. It is NOT an amazing company when they lie and then do not reimburse you. Their survey also ask if you were treated for bees/ wasps. Never sent me a receipt of the contract nor bill. Only the best rating show on their reviews.

I heard a very aggressive knock at my door, thinking it was a neighbor needing something, I immediately opened it. That was my first regret. I had the “pleasure” of dealing with someone who questioned if I was the owner of the home with a certain tone, didn’t introduce himself or ask me for my name and went into his whole song and dance without me getting a word in. I gave every hint that I was busy and needing to leave…out of the blue he asked if I’d want treatment today, even after telling him I’m already on a monthly payment with a different company. Upon telling him I wasn’t interested at this time, he didn’t thank me for my time and rudely left. If you want someone’s business, I highly suggest you make someone feel appreciated and well informed…not rip their current decisions on pest control and act like it’s surprising that you’re in fact the home owner. Try to be more Adaptive and less “Aptive”

I asked Sasha today if, as she was treating my foundation, would tell me if she noticed anywhere rodents might possibly be getting in. She noticed a few places and let me know about it. She did tell me about an upgrade Aptive has for rodent control, but I declined that offer. I can set traps myself.

Technician was courtesy and very helpful. I had a sudden big issue inside my home and happened to have an appointment for my quarterly spray. Not only was he able to spray and treat the infested area but also installed a plug that can help in other areas as well. He explained what to expect in the next few days and how to treat the pests for the next few days.

Dillian*, my service rep for the day. Came to the door and spoke to me about what specifically I was noticing and needed focused on, the helped me get rid of some of the smaller spider spots in the house before going to work on the outside. He spoke with me about what wet weather treatment would look like and overall left a very positive impression. I am so satisfied with my service today and still think I made the right choice for my house, my family and my pets, with Aptive.

Today the exterminator was awesome! He provided me with information and education that no one has given me in the time that I've been using this company. He took his time to treat every room in my home, provided me with mosquito treatment, put out fresh baits and traps throughout my home, and addresses my concerns of water bugs and moths as well by treating the outside. He was also very professional and very respectful and friendly. One of the best exterminators I've had thus far!

Eusebio was hands down the best aptive representative that was highly professional at the work. He worked his way to interior and put good amount of detailed work outside for the ants and wasp issues we had going on. He worked with no supervision. He found the issues himself, applied treatment all over and made sure our home is ready for the winter season. Highly recommended!!

Great customer service. Aptive sent me an initial email with my appointment date and window. They then sent me a text reminder the day prior to service. Travis, the pest control tech then texted me giving me an approximate arrival time. Finally, he texted me when complete and sent pics of the service area. With a very busy schedule. I love the communication! Great job!
