Aptive doesn't offer a one-size-fits-all pest control solution. Instead, the company offers customizable pest control treatments that will meet your needs and protect your home. The Aptive pest control process is simple and includes the following three steps:

Based on the pest control plan that you choose, a treatment schedule will be determined, ensuring that an Aptive technician visits your home regularly to keep pests away. If pests come back, Aptive offers re-services at no additional cost.

Wide Range of Targeted Pests

Aptive pest control products specialize in eradicating almost any conceivable pest problem:

Ants — A number of different types of ants may find their way into your home. Whether it is the Argentine Ant, Fire Ant, Odorous Ant, Pavement Ant, Pharaoh Ant, or Thief Ants it is likely that they are looking for food or water that may have been spilled in the kitchen. It is important to remember that where there is one ant, there is an entire colony. Aptive's pest control products help kill not only the ants that venture into your home, but the entire colony.
Cockroaches — Similar to ants, a number of different types of cockroaches exist in the United States. Some include: The American Cockroach, Brown Banded Cockroach, German Cockroach, oriental Cockroach, and Smokybrown Cockroach. If you start seeing cockroaches in your home, there are likely a number of them as they are very good at hiding.
Spiders — A large number of species of spiders can be found in your home. Some of the most common include: The Black Widow, Brown Recluse, Garden Spider, Hobo Spider, House Spider, and Wolf Spider. Though some spider bites may just cause irritation or swelling, others can pose serious health risks.
Rodents — Mice and rats are quite good and chewing through most things keeping them out of your home. In the process, they can cause thousands of dollars of damage.
Stingers and biters — Some of these insects that may find their way into your home are: Centipedes, Mud Daubers, Scorpions, Tick and Flea control, Wasps, Yellow Jackets and other stinging insects. The pest control company carries special pest control products to target each of these pests.
Pantry pests — These pests include, but are not limited to, Indian Meal Moths, Grain Beetles, Granary Weevils, and Rice Weevils.
Mosquitoes - Aptive employs a range of treatments to combat mosquitoes, including targeted sprays, foggers, and water treatments. Focused efforts are directed at shaded areas, trees, bushes, and under eaves to effectively target mosquitoes on your property.

Is Aptive pest control safe?

Aptive’s goal is to provide customers with professional and effective pest control solutions that reduce the harmful effects of pests. Aptive uses EPA approved products and follows all guidelines for the appropriate use of the products. Aptive is also a member of the EPA’s Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program, a program that engages communities in building awareness and reducing pesticide risk.

What is the benefit of recurring pest control treatments vs one-time treatment as needed?

While pest treatments reduce the general pest population, over time pest populations build back up and treated surfaces lose their protective barrier. One-time treatment effectiveness fades fairly quickly for most pesticides on vegetation, especially as plants continue to grow, generating new untreated surface area, including lawns. We recommend recurring treatments to help manage ongoing activity in outdoor areas and on greenery. Certain areas like cracks and crevices, and non-porous surfaces can provide a stable surface for some products to last longer, however, UV light will degrade the treatment as well. Treatments to the structure of the home can last the longest but have little impact on the pest activity in the yard after a few weeks from one single treatment.

Do you offer interior treatment?

All of our services include exterior treatments with interior coverage when requested at no additional cost. The majority of our customers find that exterior maintenance keeps their home protected, but we are happy to treat inside your home and/or garage whenever you would like.

What if I still see bugs after a treatment?

If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.

What kinds of pests do you treat for?

Aptive treats common pests like ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, wasps, snails, flies, fleas, and ticks. Aptive does not treat any wood-destroying organisms such as termites (exceptions apply), carpenter bees, or carpenter ants. Aptive also does not treat any wildlife, such as squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, rabbits, birds, deer, etc.

How long does the treatment take?

Your Initial Treatment and inspection typically take less than 60 minutes to complete, as our service professional does a full scan of your home and property to assess what products and treatments are best based on your needs. Standard Treatments, which are maintenance treatments, can usually be completed in less than 30 minutes.

Excellent service. Very affordable pest control service and very good at what they do. Absolutely the best pest control company we have ever worked with through the years. Works really well with our busy schedules and doesn’t require anyone to be home to keep our yard and exterior free of fire ants and flying insects such as wasp. Highly recommend company. Active first contacted me in person when I was facing an infestation of micro ants in my kitchen. I also had red and black carpenter ants that went into the house, and I was desperate. They explained the plan that they would use and how much of the exterior of my house would be treated after they explained the billing process and the amount I said let’s let’s do it, so I gave them a chance and I was very happy I did. All of their services have been outstanding. They do an excellent thorough job whenever I’m there. They explain what they’re doing and ask me if there’s anything else I can they can do while they are here. I need urologist to like after they’re complete, I get an email with their name and what, what they accomplished on this last visit, which I really, really like

The technicians always send a text to advise when they are on their way with an expected arrival time. Initially I thought he might have not sprayed on my deck but earned he had to get a a new battery for his sprayer. A sales manager was just wondering if the people in my neighborhood would join together, and with a wonderful deal for us all, give Aptive a chance to show there excellent work. Thank goodness I did. I felt like I could get better service than with the other providers I had any questions or concerns. I guess y’all are keeping up with everything. OK OK cause Abigail said she was trying to find it yesterday. OK yeah yeah OK good good so I’ve taken care of. Well. Do you have any questions? Shirley? They’re checking on the place on her bottom it’s just red yeah the lady that’s not here. Yeah yeah yeah she took a picture and she said they were gonna watch It. OK yeah I’m not sure whether she was gonna stay or not. She got up and went to breakfast this morning, which was good. OK can we just roll around it inside? I guess we don’t and we might not wanna go too bad. The front OK OK we might do that. Thank you.
