Based on the pest control plan that you choose, a treatment schedule will be determined, ensuring that an Aptive technician visits your home regularly to keep pests away. If pests come back, Aptive offers re-services at no additional cost.

Wide Range of Targeted Pests

Aptive pest control products specialize in eradicating almost any conceivable pest problem:

Ants — A number of different types of ants may find their way into your home. Whether it is the Argentine Ant, Fire Ant, Odorous Ant, Pavement Ant, Pharaoh Ant, or Thief Ants it is likely that they are looking for food or water that may have been spilled in the kitchen. It is important to remember that where there is one ant, there is an entire colony. Aptive's pest control products help kill not only the ants that venture into your home, but the entire colony.
Cockroaches — Similar to ants, a number of different types of cockroaches exist in the United States. Some include: The American Cockroach, Brown Banded Cockroach, German Cockroach, oriental Cockroach, and Smokybrown Cockroach. If you start seeing cockroaches in your home, there are likely a number of them as they are very good at hiding.
Spiders — A large number of species of spiders can be found in your home. Some of the most common include: The Black Widow, Brown Recluse, Garden Spider, Hobo Spider, House Spider, and Wolf Spider. Though some spider bites may just cause irritation or swelling, others can pose serious health risks.
Rodents — Mice and rats are quite good and chewing through most things keeping them out of your home. In the process, they can cause thousands of dollars of damage.
Stingers and biters — Some of these insects that may find their way into your home are: Centipedes, Mud Daubers, Scorpions, Tick and Flea control, Wasps, Yellow Jackets and other stinging insects. The pest control company carries special pest control products to target each of these pests.
Pantry pests — These pests include, but are not limited to, Indian Meal Moths, Grain Beetles, Granary Weevils, and Rice Weevils.

Is Aptive pest control safe?

Aptive’s goal is to provide customers with professional and effective pest control solutions that reduce the harmful effects of pests. Aptive uses EPA approved products and follows all guidelines for the appropriate use of the products. Aptive is also a member of the EPA’s Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program, a program that engages communities in building awareness and reducing pesticide risk.

What is the benefit of recurring pest control treatments vs one-time treatment as needed?

While pest treatments reduce the general pest population, over time pest populations build back up and treated surfaces lose their protective barrier. One-time treatment effectiveness fades fairly quickly for most pesticides on vegetation, especially as plants continue to grow, generating new untreated surface area, including lawns. We recommend recurring treatments to help manage ongoing activity in outdoor areas and on greenery. Certain areas like cracks and crevices, and non-porous surfaces can provide a stable surface for some products to last longer, however, UV light will degrade the treatment as well. Treatments to the structure of the home can last the longest but have little impact on the pest activity in the yard after a few weeks from one single treatment.

Do you offer interior treatment?

All of our services include exterior treatments with interior coverage when requested at no additional cost. The majority of our customers find that exterior maintenance keeps their home protected, but we are happy to treat inside your home and/or garage whenever you would like.

What if I still see bugs after a treatment?

If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.

What kinds of pests do you treat for?

Aptive treats common pests like ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, wasps, snails, flies, fleas, and ticks. Aptive does not treat any wood-destroying organisms such as termites (exceptions apply), carpenter bees, or carpenter ants. Aptive also does not treat any wildlife, such as squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, rabbits, birds, deer, etc.

How long does the treatment take?

Your Initial Treatment and inspection typically take less than 60 minutes to complete, as our service professional does a full scan of your home and property to assess what products and treatments are best based on your needs. Standard Treatments, which are maintenance treatments, can usually be completed in less than 30 minutes.

I have a contract with Aptive. This tech was a much needed breath of fresh air for the company.Most of the peak summer months I spent begging to get a service guy out only to finally get one that did nothing except take pictures of the small spots of product he squirted before he moved on to the next photo op. When I called to complain and asked them to look at the camera footage, they ensured they would send someone out. They sent the same guy out about a month later. Also, the plan seems automatic, but it relies on you calling to schedule coverage each month, no matter which tier you choose. The new tech was wonderful and a much needed breath of fresh air!

Service rep for appointment will text when to expect their arrival so pets can be placed in a safe pla ce. We always have a chat before and after sevice. Checking to see if anything has changed since last service. To see if additional areas need to be sprayed. They dust off the webs on outside of house and around the doors. Interior baseboards are completely sprayed through out my house and doorways. All window seals are sprayed inside also. It all take approximately 45mins.

I felt like I could get better service than with the other providers I had any questions or concerns. I guess y’all are keeping up with everything. Aptive does a thorough job of not only contacting you prior to their arrival to check in and see what issues you may have. They arrive on time and get to work quickly covering the entire property. They are very cordial and respectful once they arrive. When they are done they leave a message that includes photos of the house and yard of the areas they sprayed. This shows me as the customer they are actually doing what the company says they will cover. Plus I have cameras covering the entire property where I have witnessed their work in action! If you’re looking to find a company for pest control I would not hesitate to recommend Aptive. Oh I forgot the biggest thing we do not have the insect activity we had before which was the reason for hiring their company!

The service is fine, however you never know when the tech is coming until they give you a call a few days before the service. I do not like that. I am very busy and I need to no when the Tech is coming out in advance. The last time I was leaving my house when the Tech came. A week in advance would be fine. Not trying to be sarcastic, however you get paid on time just give me advance so I can schedule someone to be here. As of right now I don't know what day the Tech is coming for this month. If this continue to happen I will stop this service.

First encounter with Mason B. was on June 16, 2026 when he came to offer their service. He was very professional and informative. I accepted his offer knowing the the service was done every month. My next service was on July 28, 2026. I sent a message to Mason and he told me it’s about every 35 days. So my calculation now is I will be paying monthly but the service is not every month. Cayman came to the door when working the neighborhood to get customers. I normally don’t buy from door-to-door solicitation. However, I did listen to his presentation since researching a pest control service was the next item on my home maintenance list. His information and presentation was informative and impressive. I’m still uncertain about a 2 year contract, but I realized after the first application visit I like the idea of a more pest free home and garden. The cobwebs were especially irritating. So, the 2 year contract might workout fine.

I like the communication in advance of arrival. I like being able to relay specific areas of concern and then get photos back of the treatment. This was the first time I had to go on the app to figure out when my next treatment was scheduled for- usually I get emails about it. I found nothing was scheduled and I am a monthly subscriber so that was not good. Hopefully next visit will me automatically again.

However, Gavin explained that this is expected and that we should see a gradual reduction over the next few weeks to a month. The last person to service us was rena I think on July 24. ?? She did a good job. The only area she maybe missed is on the east side of the house by our bedroom window. It’s in the corner where siding meets the brick side of the house. NEST OF YELLOW JACKETS 🐝. VERY ACTIVE! That was Rema. Did you insect for cockroaches? That was to be free.
