Overall my experience was good. I had my roof done first by Sunnova then panels put on. Sunnova was very informative- always updated me on progress and appointments. I really don’t have any complaints about the company and I’m very pleased with everything. If I had to pick one con it would be the app. I can’t quite figure it out yet. Another thing I want to point out is I researched before I signed up and I thoroughly reviewed my contract and the time it took to actually turn the system on was what they told me. I also want to take this opportunity to praise Thomas D. He was awesome- he was in constant contact with me during the roof repair/install.

I only just got the panels working so I don't know about that yet. But this company is great to work with. I waited so long to find the right deal and right company for solar, I feel that Sunnova is the right choice. They always update me and answer all of my questions. Their app is great. I can see exactly what is going on with my array. And Trinity Solar are the ones that signed me up and everything they said up front has happened. Everything was explained by them in detail. No surprises. I'm excited to have my imprint on the environment lessened and spending much less money on electricity a month is also great. I am very happy to have finally gone Solar with the right company.

Just so happy with seamless transition. We are in our 3rd year. Only had to call for service once. Sunnova responded very quickly to rectify the issue. One panel was not producing due to micro inverter. They responded with a quick switch over. Was amazed at the technology that the repair man knew exactly which one it was as it showed on his phone app..

Everyone from start to finish was polite and professional. They said that my roof needed replacement and did the replacement at no cost to me. The electricians and the carpenters were great, they spread grass seed where they had to dig to bury the cable. The customer service always called to give updates and things that we needed to do for the hookups.

Well I really wish I had used TRINITY to begin with. If I had, I think the solar panels installed would have been the correct number of panels to begin with. They were so kind and helpful. I really appreciated Sunnova working to get my payments set so that they do not increase over the years but remain constant. I know this took a lot of additional work on your part.

Very informative ,Carl our rep explained in detail what would take place with Trinity employees,the town permits ,and Rhode Island energy.Trinity staff, equipment,installation time ,site preparation ,clean up was incredible .Solar panels were neatly placed to actually improve the house identity.I would highly recommend Carl and his crew especially getting it done efficiently and most important my second electric bill read None,no payment due.

The main reason for installing the solar panels was to reduce dependence of fossil fuels. The system has delivered and has run problem free since installation. I am also able to run my EV charger. My goal of reducing my carbon footprint has been achieved; the savings aren’t bad either!

So far so good, no issues with Sunnova / Trinity. Installation in one day. Just a few weeks to go on-line. Very happy with power being generated. Didn't pay a dime for the system, just paying for electricity being generated. Having issues with National grid and highly estimated bills. Hope to get them resolved soon.

They were so knowledgeable, professional I signed right away. Nate the supervisor for the roof, is wonderful. The whole process from beginning to the end, was seamless. Started with my good friend Jonathan L. coming over, talking with me and answering every question honestly. Helped me get the process started and kept me up to date along the way. Spoke to so many along the way, Lindsay in particular was always very responsive and had answers right away. The install team was great!! They were very very professional but I like to think I was able to loosen them up and they were great all around. Very friendly, very funny but professional and kept me up to date on progress. I cannot compliment them enough! Overall a great experience, the wait for the permit checks and final inspections from the town, not Sunnovas/trinitys fault, but that was a painful wait after all the hard work that went in. I’m up and running and hope to be saving money very soon

Sunnova is an eye-opening company in the residential solar business from the very moment that we sat down with our Rep Ignacio. Forget about buying for cash or financing for 25 years, we are leasing our system for the price of our average electric bill for the past 4 months. Fortunatley for us, the months were winter time months and we live in South Florida where we don't use our air conditioning much as the weather is very nice. It is open windows and doors for homes in this area. Ignacio explained to us the benefits of leasing a solar system, and the biggest benefit of all is that there is no investment in your solar system. And, if something goes wrong, Sunnova will be out to your home to fix whatever is wrong ASAP, because the only way they can make money on this system, is to have it producing more power than we need, so they can sell it back to our electric utility company. They even had to add a panel to our system, as it was not producing enough power to enable Sunnova to sell back to the Utility. And, if there is any issue like the addition of a panel, Sunnova is the responsible party to eliminate the issue. I really support and like this company!!

Made the entire process for getting solar panels very easy, I just needed to be home on certain days to let people in the house to do the work. They did all of the contacting with the city and my energy company, as well as pulling the permits. Even getting the quote was a simple process, they pulled all the information they needed from the city, including how old my roof was because I wasn't sure, and showed up with a small presentation to discuss the kind of savings I could see. We just got our panels turned on, it took a little bit of time since it's a long process going through the city and our energy company, but it was easy

We installed our solar panels in 2020. Our panels have not given us a day's trouble. And Sunnova is on top of watching for outages, issues with the panel or equipment. Most times they contact us to let us know there is an issue before we even realize there is a problem. They handle everything when it comes to maintenance. But, we have not had that much trouble with our system, so we rarely need them to fix things. Our sales rep was (is) amazing. We still call on him with questions. We purchased our batteries in 2022, prior to that our overages were sold back to the grid for credits. But now, our batteries are charged up by around 9AM most mornings, and then our house runs completely on solar during the day. The batteries kick in at dark, and even in the hot Texas summer, we rarely ran out of battery power. Another great feature is that we have a storm watch. When severe weather is about 100 miles from us and coming in, our battery system automatically begins to charge itself so that when the storm hits, our batteries are at 100% capacity. We love having gone solar. And, if we move, we will invest in it again.

Getting solar was very easy and everything went just as they promised. Adding a battery after has taken a very long time and I have had issues with the subcontractor they used to get the system installed. What should of been 2 days at most turned into 4 days of making sure someone was here to wait for them and I am still waiting for them to get the final approval to turn the batteries on as they did not file the paperwork correctly and this has delayed things at least a week and a half and still counting. Sunnova is a great company, but be careful of the subcontractor as they are not all the same.

I was originally was approved for a loan through Sunnova, but the company that offered solar most likely did something wrong as they have been known to do, so I had to get a loan elsewhere. With that being said, Sunnova had great coverage for solar beyond what Green Day Power ended up giving me. Somewhere along the line Sunnova contacted me for maintenance, so I think Generac assigned Sunnova to maintain my system from now on. No one could give me an answer. But I do know GDP never freely offered to come by and look at my system other than the multiple times I reported problems. Sunnova did freely contact me for a check up and found some problems that weren’t fixed by GDP when that should have been fixed months ago. So I’m glad Sunnova stepped in.

I moved into a new build home that had Solar Panels from Sunova. I was apprehensive to sign a rental contract since I had not had solar at any other home. Having Solar is the best thing that has happened to my home ownership. Sunova has been an excellent company to work with. They are so professional and have checked in to make sure it reduces my bill to their satisfaction and I was happy with the system. By the experiences I have had working with them I fully trust they will be available if needed. The reduction in my bills is incredible. The system looks organized and neat. All of my uneasiness or concern over solar is gone and I am now a firm believer thanks to Sunova and their associates.

I am very happy to have the system in my house. Being that I live in a place where electric power constantly fails and that I work from home, I can safely say I no longer have that problem. I can not afford to not have electricity because my work depends on it. I am actually paying the same/slightly less than what I was paying in my electric bill, but I choose to have it like that because I wanted to make sure we have electric power at home; feel safe that everything is working. I choose a larger system than my house needed because we wanted to make sure we cover future projects at home and also make sure to have double the battery capacity. I strongly recommend people to change one bill for the other since we have to pay for electricity anyway. This system makes me and my family more resilient and able to continue even under outages.

I really appreciate how helpful everyone has been through the whole process of “going solar”. Early on every time I had questions and concerns our solar consultant was always willing to make time to meet and explain, clarify and educate us on everything we needed to know. Beyond that all other steps to go live were straight forward and easy and the cutover was seamless that I only knew it happened because I received confirmation that our electricity was now being generated by our solar panels. What a great experience for someone like me who knew solar could be beneficial but was a little skeptical of how to make the transition. Now we have been live for a couple of weeks and everything seems just as it was before when we were getting our energy direct from the electric company.

Customer service was amazing. A representative comes over to talk about how everything works before you decide if you want solar or not. Throughout the whole process our rep, Dwight, would call or text us to give us updates. If any problems come up during inspection the company will usually help resolve it, we needed a new circuit box before installation and that was taken care of by Sunnova. After installation, we had to wait for the state to give the approval before turning them on. The whole process will take some time, it relies on the state, the energy company, and Sunnova. From day 1 to turning the solar on, for us, took about 8 months, but now our electric bill is basically gone, and we only pay for the solar panels (the price is discussed during consultation). Overall, we love having solar and have not had any problems thus far.

Sunnova’s Enlighten on-line solar system monitoring tool is very well designed. I can see how my system is working 24 hrs a day, empowering me to make informed decisions about the best time to use my appliances. When the PGE power went out recently, the house automatically switched over to solar battery use. And we immediately received notification from Sunnova reminding us to cut back on our electrical use in order to preserve our battery charge. My sales reps from SEP, Michael F and Crystal G were fantastic. They were so helpful and through, I decided to cancel a contract I already had with another company and go with Sunnova. They continue to be available for assistance, rather than abandoning me once the sale was over. I’m very pleased with Sunnova.

by purchasing the panels we did we have seen many days where we did not incur any extra charges from the infamous APS who happen to be our primary supplier if EMF.. we thiught at first the power we bought was not enough but the learning curve over the past couple years has been a good lesson. we have kearned that thru certain precautions and measaures taken have enhanced our ussage but also has allowed us to brag about we have done with our monies wjhen it comes to purchasing solar panels and the ir usage! we have learned that it has been worth our time and our money to "practice what we preach" when it comes to good frugal usage of natures bountys available to us from and thru Sunnova Products..

The Icon/Sunnova sales rep was very straight forward and honest unlike some of the other solar sales reps I had encountered from other companies. He was very genuine and his continuing follow ups kept me in the loop. The installers were also on point and friendly guys. I liked that tue installation crew was from the company amd not a 3rd party installer. All start up instructions were sent via email amd if I had any questions, they were quickly answered via text or call from the sales rep and/or corporate support. In the first few days I'm already seeing energy generation credits vs. consumption, so I'm happy.

From the beginning to the end Phil was awesome and bent over backwards for us. The installers were very professional too and respected my roof and yard. The communication between Mars and the workers were not so great. Everytime I had an issue I would write Mars and Phil and Phil would answer first and Mars would answer days later. I had issues trying to turn on my solar and it was a Friday and I wrote Mars and Phil. Phil came out at 8pm had to use flashlight but he got me on. It took Mars 3 days later to tell me he would send someone out. I told him Phil already did it. All in all if it weren't for Phil not sure I would recommend Kayo. But he helped me when I panicked as I am elderly and he jumped when I called or texted and found my answers. I had workers just show up without cal or text first and I wasn't happy. I texted Mars and it took him awhile to respond he said he wasn't notified they were coming. Not I'm sorry. Mars had an attitude from the Start I felt. He did nothing for me. Honestly it was Phil from Start to finish. I am very happy with my solar and how it looks on the roof. The wire guys for pigeons were great too.

I had an outstanding experience with Sunnova and Our World Energy. Christian, my salesperson, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. The installation of my new Air Conditioning Unit and solar panels was carried out efficiently by a quick and polite crew. The professionalism of everyone involved was commendable, and they promptly addressed any hiccups that arose. I'm particularly grateful to Meldred, my project manager, who kept me well-informed and promptly answered all my questions. The entire process, from start to finish, only took 2 months, and the permitting with my city and electric company went smoothly. My solar unit is now up and running, and even in 100-degree heat, it has reduced my reliance on the electrical grid to 0%. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Kudos to Sunnova and Our World Energy for their excellent service!

I’m writing this review because of the negative feedback I keep hearing from people that I talk to about getting solar. I tell people that I have had a positive experience dealing with Sonnova throughout the entire process of getting solar installed. First of all the rep I spoke with told me over and over to talk with him about any problems I may have and especially any problems other folks tell me I’m going to have and he will explain how Sonnova’s crews address it if it’s a factual problem or he will explain why it is a made up problem. Along with great communication ever person/ crew that was involved with the process was professional and explained their piece of the Solar process from the tree service and roofers to the Solar staff. Even the amount of time it was going to take to get the solar up and running (3mos) was explained step by step as each item was being addressed. So if you are looking at getting solar contact Sonnova. So far I help my mom through the process and I was so impressed that I got the ball rolling immediately for my home then my neighbor and my brother.
