We appreciated the financing arrangement included - that was a big draw. But I got confused by suddenly dealing with Current Home; I didn't understand who that was. Then someone else came to do installation. Current Home set uip an appointment, the installer came on a different day and time. It got very confusing; I was not kept informed of what was going on, by whom, or when. I was not happy.

The main reason for installing the solar panels was to reduce dependence of fossil fuels. The system has delivered and has run problem free since installation. I am also able to run my EV charger. My goal of reducing my carbon footprint has been achieved; the savings aren’t bad either!

So far so good, no issues with Sunnova / Trinity. Installation in one day. Just a few weeks to go on-line. Very happy with power being generated. Didn't pay a dime for the system, just paying for electricity being generated. Having issues with National grid and highly estimated bills. Hope to get them resolved soon.

I am very happy to have the system in my house. Being that I live in a place where electric power constantly fails and that I work from home, I can safely say I no longer have that problem. I can not afford to not have electricity because my work depends on it. I am actually paying the same/slightly less than what I was paying in my electric bill, but I choose to have it like that because I wanted to make sure we have electric power at home; feel safe that everything is working. I choose a larger system than my house needed because we wanted to make sure we cover future projects at home and also make sure to have double the battery capacity. I strongly recommend people to change one bill for the other since we have to pay for electricity anyway. This system makes me and my family more resilient and able to continue even under outages.

I really appreciate how helpful everyone has been through the whole process of “going solar”. Early on every time I had questions and concerns our solar consultant was always willing to make time to meet and explain, clarify and educate us on everything we needed to know. Beyond that all other steps to go live were straight forward and easy and the cutover was seamless that I only knew it happened because I received confirmation that our electricity was now being generated by our solar panels. What a great experience for someone like me who knew solar could be beneficial but was a little skeptical of how to make the transition. Now we have been live for a couple of weeks and everything seems just as it was before when we were getting our energy direct from the electric company.

I was scheduled for an inverter replacement and giving a time between 8 AM and 11 AM on October 10 as my service date. Now they are saying it is a closed ticket and they will not come out and replace the inverter.

Though I enjoy having solar to try and cut down on my Energy bill, it is stupid that even though I have solar panels during a power outage. I cannot use my power because you guys did not install a shut off between my house and the main power line. To prevent the panels from backfeeding energy into Potentially down wires. So now, even though hurricane Milton just went by, I'm stuck without power after buying solar panels, so I would have power even during a power outage.

Sunnova says we have gone live with solar, however the main unit is not functioning correctly, which is causing the electricity needed from solar to our home to be provided by the grid, which is costing me money, which was supposed to be provided by solar.

Terrible customer service !!! Do not use them if your roof is NOT new I’m 9 years in with them and need a new roof got a quote in May of $10,314.00 to remove and replace panels ….. wasn’t ready in May but am now 4 MONTHS later they gave me a new quote of $21,300.00. Yes, I can use a third party but will loss my warranty for everything if they cannot seal it properly!!!

The technicians did a great job changing the fuses in the battery. Previous failures required changing and rewiring failed solar panels. The failed solar panels were not covered under warranty.

Customer service is horrible I wouldn’t recommend this company to nobody.I waited quite a while for Nv energy to do the final inspection and change the meter and called the company that installed it (M+S electric)to see when they would activate it and they told me they’re waiting for paperwork from the energy company and it would be a day or 2 and it’s going on a week.I called Sunnova customer service and nothing they could do to get it activated.Thank god I got solar I can’t use,They sure promise the world when you sign up and then screw you after the fact.

Well i'm not disappointed with sonova that I know of but their installers left debris and trash all over My driveway, the guy that I started to talk to about the solar kept math.Messing me around with my bonus check. And come to find out today.I looked up on the roof and there was no pigeon netting installed around my solar panels like it was to B when we discuss putting it up. I am completely and utterly dissatisfied with the people they worked with and if I had a chance, I would remove the solar panels off my roof.

Installers did a terrible job on running electric wire in my attic over my attic access and areas I had for getting to storage spaces and servicing my A/C unit it not the professional type job that I did when I was in the A/C business.

I purchased ADDITIONAL solar panels AND a battery from Sunnova and once everything was connected, my PG&E bill SIGNIFICANTLY increased. I sent am email to Sunnova customer service AND the CEO (John Berger) and they basically told me there was nothing they can do for me. They haven't even tried to determine what the cause of the increase was in my PG&E bill. I have been trying to do my own research and present them with my findings. This is a horrible company that will say whatever they need to to get you to buy from them but will not offer any support for issues that arise after the installation in complete. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
