Entire project from time of agreement to activation is way too long. Very little personal interaction on achieving updates. The Sunnova app is too general and lacks detail. Installation was seamless once approval and permits were granted.

Now it seems that they haven’t been able to help me put the APP on my phone and complete all the items I was promised for signing up for your service. The install team was very efficient, FPL took a while to make the final connection to the power grid. I sent a message to Juan and am awaiting a response and his arrival to my home.

When our original solar installer failed us, not communicating for months at a time, we contacted Generac to get us a replacement. They sent out Sunnova within 2 days, to meet our very tight schedule, and Sunnova was able to fully diagnose our system that day and replace multiple parts. This after over a year of lies and lack of communication from our previous company was an incredibly impressive showing of competence and dedication.

We wanted a solar company that was not going to disappear in a few years, but was also not so large that they lost site of the customer. Glad we found Sunnova. Every person we have been spoken with from Sales to Installers have been extremely pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to be sure the needs of an elderly family member were always met. Every question we have had has been respectfully answered. I would most definitely recommend going solar and using Sunnova.

The solar panels installed on my roof for me are great. However, it is important that the electricity company does have a solar buy back plan and it would be good if Sunnova would review and then advise their customers that there is a cheaper option. The first electricity company that I was with had a solar buy back plan and then they stopped it after about a year. I then transferred to Chariot Energy to their 3 year solar plan and now i am a happy camper.

The efficiency of every member of my team was exceptional. My salesman, Miguel F, spent 5 hours explaining everything. No question was left unanswered . I was notified about when each group would come and they were on time, professional and careful. They were also great about leaving the site neat. The final inspection by the 2 electricians from the company found a wire from my box to the water meter that needed grounding. The town inspector told me that he’s had good experiences with SUNNOVA. Thank you.

I am very happy to have the system in my house. Being that I live in a place where electric power constantly fails and that I work from home, I can safely say I no longer have that problem. I can not afford to not have electricity because my work depends on it. I am actually paying the same/slightly less than what I was paying in my electric bill, but I choose to have it like that because I wanted to make sure we have electric power at home; feel safe that everything is working. I choose a larger system than my house needed because we wanted to make sure we cover future projects at home and also make sure to have double the battery capacity. I strongly recommend people to change one bill for the other since we have to pay for electricity anyway. This system makes me and my family more resilient and able to continue even under outages.

One panel was not producing due to micro inverter. They responded with a quick switch over. Everyone from start to finish was polite and professional. They said that my roof needed replacement and did the replacement at no cost to me. The electricians and the carpenters were great, they spread grass seed where they had to dig to bury the cable. The customer service always called to give updates and things that we needed to do for the hookups.

Customer service is horrible I wouldn’t recommend this company to nobody.I waited quite a while for Nv energy to do the final inspection and change the meter and called the company that installed it (M+S electric)to see when they would activate it and they told me they’re waiting for paperwork from the energy company and it would be a day or 2 and it’s going on a week.I called Sunnova customer service and nothing they could do to get it activated.Thank god I got solar I can’t use,They sure promise the world when you sign up and then screw you after the fact.

Well i'm not disappointed with sonova that I know of but their installers left debris and trash all over My driveway, the guy that I started to talk to about the solar kept math.Messing me around with my bonus check. And come to find out today.I looked up on the roof and there was no pigeon netting installed around my solar panels like it was to B when we discuss putting it up. I am completely and utterly dissatisfied with the people they worked with and if I had a chance, I would remove the solar panels off my roof.

I purchased ADDITIONAL solar panels AND a battery from Sunnova and once everything was connected, my PG&E bill SIGNIFICANTLY increased. I sent am email to Sunnova customer service AND the CEO (John Berger) and they basically told me there was nothing they can do for me. They haven't even tried to determine what the cause of the increase was in my PG&E bill. I have been trying to do my own research and present them with my findings. This is a horrible company that will say whatever they need to to get you to buy from them but will not offer any support for issues that arise after the installation in complete. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Installer was great & knowledgeable.. However, the customer service didn’t have a clue as far as service dates. It changed four times in three days! Even when the installer was there I received a text saying the installer would be there the next day.. Please communicate with your scheduling departments

I’ve been waiting almost a month for my tree removal which is holding up the installation of my solar! Very disappointing with little feedback! Also waiting over a month for the roofing company to come fix their mistake again with no feedback
