This was the most poorly executed transaction, with the worst results I have experienced in my 58 years. we installed the system in August Time and time again, commitments were made and never met it is now almost November, I have my first payment coming up on the system in a few days, and it still does not work I wish I had never begun this process

Sunnova forces you to sign up for auto pay even if you don’t want to. It’s not told in today contract but they will harass you from a free days after signing your contract until you give in. They will cancel your contract and bill you for the install if you don’t. Completely inscrutable. This should be detailed when you sign the contract, not after.

While the sales team and install teams were fantastic, the administrative personnel in the background were completely oblivious. My panels and service were installed over 45 days before they obtained all the needed documentation from my township and from Met-Ed. When trying to contact that department for updates or resolve, all they offered was “we’re waiting for approval to turn your service on”. This should all have been completed prior to the install or nearly at time of install.

I liked professionalism and helpfulness of all people who were involved in the process start to finish, I dislike you being inaccurate about certain things, not the people, the company, where you promised to have a comprehensive app that show production AND consumption of power for my house but it turned its an optional hardware I’d be paying extra for on your website and it rubs me off the wrong way when things like that happens so you either include everything in the system or you make it very clear about the optional things you guys offer through an automated email or text or mail etc…

You need to find installers that give a damn about what they’re doing!! There are people that have had the panels sitting in their driveways for months, some with panels installed but not hooked up and no idea when they’re going to!! These installers are representing Legacy, and giving you a really bad name. I was lucky enough to have Trevor V as a representative that gave a damn!! I have a couple issues right now that he working on now, but not everybody was that lucky. Kudos to Trevor Legacy NEEDS new installers!!

Took a long time and no communication with company. Now that it’s turned on I have not recieved any instruction about an app to monitor if the system is producing what I was promised. All I was told was they will know if it’s working!! Not good enough communication for me! I am really having second thoughts about this whole solar experience. Not a happy customer.

The installation, while a long process, went smoothly. The only disappointment was the bill I got from NVE after the system was installed. I did not know that I had to build up CREDITS in order to just have to pay the monthly NVE connection fee.

I was an adopted customer referred from Generac for service only. Slow communication getting a service time confirmed. Once we had an appointment they showed up on time. Had parts in the van, and they diagnosed and fixed the problem! They were very professional throughout the process. Highly recommended.

I liked my experience. The only thing I did like was the change in the plans. They ended up installing two more panels then originally planned and they had to go by themselves on my garage roof which doesn’t not look as nice as the original plan for panels just on the house.

The process took a very long time. A lot of back and forth. I'm glad I'm a Project Manager as I had to manage and coordinate between Sunnova and V3 and the 3rd party electrical contractor to get this project finished up. 3rd party electrical contractor almost caught house on fire with poor electrical wiring which was against code. The staff that did show up at the house never knew what they were working on and relyed on me to tell them and coordinate with your other team member to determine how to get them to accomplish the tasks. I'm glad I'm an engineer and my boyfriend is and electrician. Lots of mis wiring and also had the battery backup mis-wired for I don't know how many years as it was feeding off the grid and not the solar system which is probably another reason our true up bill had been so high every year. The electrician and V3 staff told us this as well. I will be moving in the coming months and I just hope that this potion of the sale of the house with the leased solar goes more smoothly than the install did.

Now it seems that they haven’t been able to help me put the APP on my phone and complete all the items I was promised for signing up for your service. When our original solar installer failed us, not communicating for months at a time, we contacted Generac to get us a replacement. They sent out Sunnova within 2 days, to meet our very tight schedule, and Sunnova was able to fully diagnose our system that day and replace multiple parts. This after over a year of lies and lack of communication from our previous company was an incredibly impressive showing of competence and dedication.

We wanted a solar company that was not going to disappear in a few years, but was also not so large that they lost site of the customer. Glad we found Sunnova. Every person we have been spoken with from Sales to Installers have been extremely pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to be sure the needs of an elderly family member were always met. Every question we have had has been respectfully answered. I would most definitely recommend going solar and using Sunnova.

The solar panels installed on my roof for me are great. However, it is important that the electricity company does have a solar buy back plan and it would be good if Sunnova would review and then advise their customers that there is a cheaper option. The first electricity company that I was with had a solar buy back plan and then they stopped it after about a year. I then transferred to Chariot Energy to their 3 year solar plan and now i am a happy camper.

The efficiency of every member of my team was exceptional. My salesman, Miguel F, spent 5 hours explaining everything. No question was left unanswered . I was notified about when each group would come and they were on time, professional and careful. They were also great about leaving the site neat. The final inspection by the 2 electricians from the company found a wire from my box to the water meter that needed grounding. The town inspector told me that he’s had good experiences with SUNNOVA. Thank you.

Panels installed by Trinity Solar are working great.... The whole process from signing contract to installation to setting up account went fast. The reason for only 4 **** Stars was the very poor, almost useless Sunnova App which only shows 3 things... KWH for Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days and All Time. Does not show daily amounts or other info on performance of system. (I had cell/PC App on my previous solar system when I lived in CT which gave all that info!!!) I would rate the Sunnova App a grade of "F". I was able to get the great app from inverter manufacturer Solar Edge... I would give Solar Edge app a grade of A+ -- Sunnuva MUST make available an app that allows users to see performance of system (which will enable users to show friends their results which will lead to referrals.

I was told that if I had to switch providers that I all fees would be covered. That was an actual lie. I was told that my name would be added for a referral fee to those I recommended. I didn't personally know two that I recommended and was told James would take care of it. He ended up quitting and for the two I referred to him and that signed for service, I didn't get a referral fee. I felt duped. James didn't recommend the right number of panels to begin with. That had to be fixed. The person that fixed this was great but I am still out my electric fee and never received the other two referral fees. That is deceptive. I actually still have in writing his promises but that hasn't been honored since he quit. So no, I will never refer this organization again. I referred at least 3 that signed up and had touted the benefits for months but I can't in good conscience do that again.

I'm generally happy with the solar system and its benefits. I am not happy with how long it took for the system to be installed and the loan for the purchase of the system. Sunnova may not be the party responsible for the slow installation (Trinity Solar was the company). The agreement was finalized early August and the system was turned on late December. Dealing with Sunnova on the loan has felt like nothing other than a "money grab". I had the resources available to pay off my loan immediately and was not able to. I called Sunnova a few times on this and was told different things, including that I had to wait for the system to be turned on to pay it off and then that I had to wait for my first bill to pay it off. Waiting for the first bill meant that I had to pay that first bill (which was made up of mostly interest) and then pay the system off. In total, I paid $440 more than the agreement's system cost. I tried to avoid paying anything more than the system cost and was not able to do that. So, this review reflects that frustration more than anything else. The staff I spoke to on the phone was always pleasant and mostly knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I had to speak with them more often than any customer should in order to understand payoff options.

the system was installed in July and wasn't activated till mid December so how can I rate them when I still haven't actually been able to realize any energy results I also agreed to solar both as a cost savings and as a means of cutting down on fossil fuels and even though I was informed at the time and it may be that Suunova has no say in it...I find it disturbing that I have a lot more square footage that could hold panels to make my house far more energy efficient there fore I am unwilling to throw out any high ratings at this time...I may change my mind when I see real results of putting the solar panels on my home but whether it be the governement regulation or company policies it is deceiving to say I am being as enegery efficient and helping to cut down on my so called carbon footprint when it is clear that my roof could support a good number of additional panels...you asked I told you....

I have been calling V3 customer service trying to get answers on the way my LG battery is working, It has been over three week of phone calls after phones trying to get answer and not get anywhere. Being an electrician myself. It's a simple program change that can be done remotely from V3 office. Other then that we are still waiting to see how thing play out with the new system.

We appreciated the financing arrangement included - that was a big draw. But I got confused by suddenly dealing with Current Home; I didn't understand who that was. Then someone else came to do installation. Current Home set uip an appointment, the installer came on a different day and time. It got very confusing; I was not kept informed of what was going on, by whom, or when. I was not happy.
