Well it was just turned on a couple days ago. All the people that were here for installation and there after worked and answered all our questions. We did think we would have it on a little sooner but it is up and running now. We hope it will be a great benefit for us down the road. The only thing I don't like is the billing through email. Call me old fashion but I like getting the paper bill in the mail.

Looks great. Still waiting for Electric company to come and approve the switch of us over to use of solar panels. They stated 4-6 weeks, it's been 3 weeks. Some confusion toward the end of the process. I guess that is to be expected when you have to make yourself and your home available to multiple companies.

Very satisfied with installation and performance so far. Just went on line generating in September. I would like to be able to see solar generation and my power consumption better in the Sunnova app. On my phone. I’m able to see the production with a number and bar graph however I can not see my generation numbers with my consumption and what numbers I bank or not. Maybe I’m not using the application on phone correct?

The dates were followed as planned and I had no headaches in dealing with the energy company or the municipality to obtain proper approvals. First off, communications was poor. Many times there were delays answering my quest for information. Scheduling info was sketchy when it was relayed to me. There were various problems during the installing thatcaused delays. The installation presented issues for the fire dept. There were conduits that caused obstructions to the fighters. It took 2 returns visits to correct the issue. My home has a metal roof. The conduit would prevent fire fighters from using roof ladders should it ever became necessary. Speaking to the installers, they told me that they had little to no experience working on metal roofs. The second time they came to move the conduit I had to explain where they should route it to meet the fire dept. requirement. The second crew that came out also left a mess of wire and other debris on our drive way that we had to clean up. I feel that there were unnecessary delays in turning on the system.

I have been with Sunnova 5 years. In that time I needed 2 service calls, one was resolved within a couple days, the other took a could months due to a parts shortage but they made it right on my bill. Overall, I've been very satisfied.

The installation was seamless and professional. It is too early to tell if we will see any savings on our electric bill. We were told by the sales person that they would have someone trim the oak tree in our back yard to maximize the sunshine on the panels but that has not been scheduled and can’t get anyone to tell me when that will occur spite of my inquiries to the office and to the sales person. I also asked about getting an app to monitor performance but have not received a response. I would appreciate having a designated contact person.

I like the installation. The communication about how to turn it on could have been clearer. I thought it was on until I received a email three week later saying there was no signal. The instructions told us to turn the outside switch to on an flip the breaker box switches, but I believe the breaker box switch may have already been on and when we flip it it turned it off.

My inverter went out on 8-19-2024. I noticed it not working 3 day later. Called to get it fixed they came ordered part which came in bout 5 days later. They scheduled to come 9-18-2024. Almost a month to get it fixed. My solar panels are paid off and I still have to wait a month to get it fixed. Very disappointed on the maintenance service .

The process took a very long time. A lot of back and forth. I'm glad I'm a Project Manager as I had to manage and coordinate between Sunnova and V3 and the 3rd party electrical contractor to get this project finished up. 3rd party electrical contractor almost caught house on fire with poor electrical wiring which was against code. The staff that did show up at the house never knew what they were working on and relyed on me to tell them and coordinate with your other team member to determine how to get them to accomplish the tasks. I'm glad I'm an engineer and my boyfriend is and electrician. Lots of mis wiring and also had the battery backup mis-wired for I don't know how many years as it was feeding off the grid and not the solar system which is probably another reason our true up bill had been so high every year. The electrician and V3 staff told us this as well. I will be moving in the coming months and I just hope that this potion of the sale of the house with the leased solar goes more smoothly than the install did.

Our installer Noah made this happen. The city and Ameren had him scrambling for 2 months. If it wasn't for him answering questions and keeping us informed, we would have scrapped solar after the first month of back and forth. So the 5 stars are for him!

My husband and I both felt strongly about helping the environment so that made our decision to go solar easier. I feel Sunnova is an honest company and they didn't promise us anything outlandish that they couldn't deliver on. The customer service was amazing and responsive. Once the process started I was called and sent texts to confirm understanding. I would have liked to have been provided a realistic time line for the process as a whole before we got started. The whole process took about two months with scheduling, steps required from the power company city inspections etc. But it is turned on now🙂

While working with the sales rep he was very helpful and prompt with answers when I had questions concerning the solar system. Once I decided to purchase the system the process to purchase went very smoothly. I was notified on the progress of permitting; parts being ordered. delivered and estimated installation date.

I've been using them for 3 years and I really don't have any complaints! They are very attentive every time I call, which has been very few times because the system is excellent, customer service is top notch and they help me with the problem.

Sonova went in with ease. The guy who installed it was the one who provided us with all the accurate information and the wary free install. We had a small leak and he came out to address the leak immediately. 10 out of 10 will recommend to family and friends. Will also recommend to anyone who asks.

Professional, courteous,& efficient installers, accessable customer service.When the sun is shining, my system allows me to only be in the neighborhood of 30% grid dependent.Definitely allows for better predictably in regards to my energy costs.
