by purchasing the panels we did we have seen many days where we did not incur any extra charges from the infamous APS who happen to be our primary supplier if EMF.. we thiught at first the power we bought was not enough but the learning curve over the past couple years has been a good lesson. we have kearned that thru certain precautions and measaures taken have enhanced our ussage but also has allowed us to brag about we have done with our monies wjhen it comes to purchasing solar panels and the ir usage! we have learned that it has been worth our time and our money to "practice what we preach" when it comes to good frugal usage of natures bountys available to us from and thru Sunnova Products..

The Icon/Sunnova sales rep was very straight forward and honest unlike some of the other solar sales reps I had encountered from other companies. He was very genuine and his continuing follow ups kept me in the loop. The installers were also on point and friendly guys. I liked that tue installation crew was from the company amd not a 3rd party installer. All start up instructions were sent via email amd if I had any questions, they were quickly answered via text or call from the sales rep and/or corporate support. In the first few days I'm already seeing energy generation credits vs. consumption, so I'm happy.

From the beginning to the end Phil was awesome and bent over backwards for us. The installers were very professional too and respected my roof and yard. The communication between Mars and the workers were not so great. Everytime I had an issue I would write Mars and Phil and Phil would answer first and Mars would answer days later. I had issues trying to turn on my solar and it was a Friday and I wrote Mars and Phil. Phil came out at 8pm had to use flashlight but he got me on. It took Mars 3 days later to tell me he would send someone out. I told him Phil already did it. All in all if it weren't for Phil not sure I would recommend Kayo. But he helped me when I panicked as I am elderly and he jumped when I called or texted and found my answers. I had workers just show up without cal or text first and I wasn't happy. I texted Mars and it took him awhile to respond he said he wasn't notified they were coming. Not I'm sorry. Mars had an attitude from the Start I felt. He did nothing for me. Honestly it was Phil from Start to finish. I am very happy with my solar and how it looks on the roof. The wire guys for pigeons were great too.

I had an outstanding experience with Sunnova and Our World Energy. Christian, my salesperson, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. The installation of my new Air Conditioning Unit and solar panels was carried out efficiently by a quick and polite crew. The professionalism of everyone involved was commendable, and they promptly addressed any hiccups that arose. I'm particularly grateful to Meldred, my project manager, who kept me well-informed and promptly answered all my questions. The entire process, from start to finish, only took 2 months, and the permitting with my city and electric company went smoothly. My solar unit is now up and running, and even in 100-degree heat, it has reduced my reliance on the electrical grid to 0%. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Kudos to Sunnova and Our World Energy for their excellent service!

I’m writing this review because of the negative feedback I keep hearing from people that I talk to about getting solar. I tell people that I have had a positive experience dealing with Sonnova throughout the entire process of getting solar installed. First of all the rep I spoke with told me over and over to talk with him about any problems I may have and especially any problems other folks tell me I’m going to have and he will explain how Sonnova’s crews address it if it’s a factual problem or he will explain why it is a made up problem. Along with great communication ever person/ crew that was involved with the process was professional and explained their piece of the Solar process from the tree service and roofers to the Solar staff. Even the amount of time it was going to take to get the solar up and running (3mos) was explained step by step as each item was being addressed. So if you are looking at getting solar contact Sonnova. So far I help my mom through the process and I was so impressed that I got the ball rolling immediately for my home then my neighbor and my brother.

I shopped solar companies for about 3 years and hadn't yet come across one that made sense to go with. So many variables....lease or purchase?....how reputable is the company?....was the sales rep ethical and honest, or at least seemed so?....what about resale of my house and it's effect on my solar contract?....what are those variables?....and what governs resale value?....what will I pay the solar company monthly, and how often will that change?....what will I be guaranteed?....what will I pay my electric company and how will I sell back my unused power? Well, after many presentations, price quotes, questions answered, and other investigatory steps on my end, Sunnova was the one company that made sense to me all around! Before signing, I sent my contract to two individuals for their opinion on it (one was definitely advising that I NOT go with solar....until they read the Sunnova contract). I also knocked on many of my neighbors doors to get their input on their own (other) solar systems. Before I even met with the sales rep (who was also awesome in many ways) I had done a 2-year financial evaluation of my utility bills, so I was very aware of what I had been paying before. Throughout the sales process, whenever I needed more information or questions answered, the sales rep was very responsive, professional and prompt. I even reached out to the regional manager for a couple of other questions, and received a phone call on a Friday night at 8 pm! Then, after I gave them the "thumbs up", I paid NOTHING out of pocket - ZERO. They even removed a tree to improve my sun exposure, at NO cost to me. My lease payment will NEVER change - not ever, in 25 years, and my electric bill has been $4.95 every month since my solar went live (that's a service charge from PSE&G). What more could you possibly want for installing an ecologically friendly, non-polluting, safe and effective source of power for your home? Sunnova "dotted all the I's" and "crossed all the T's" for me. If you have been considering Solar for your home, what are you waiting for? Call Sunnova. I highly recommend Sunnova for your Solar Company!

Camilo, the Sunnova Technician (subcontractor for Solar Edge) deserves 10 ⭐ for his service. Camilo not only was professional, knowledgeable but also caring, as he contacted Power Edge on my behalf (since they do not answer my calls/voicemail messages) enter my new inverter serial number, so I can finally see the actual production of my solar Edge panels system through the app. I was without my solar system since June 9th, 2023, and so far paid 2 electric bills for more than $400.00 each. I regret that I bought my solar panels system from Solar Edge, this is the second time that my inverter has to be replaced and the wait for a new one, both time has been umberreable. Solar Edge is unreliable with no existing customer service. Camilo deserves at the very least, a letter of appreciation for his service. Thank you very much 👍. Good job!

The people I talked to were very informative. They also were not pushy about buying their panels. They gave me information and let me compare different solar companies. I contacted them after comparing many top rated companies. I definitely liked their panels and company the best. When they came out, the crew was very respectful of working around all of the people and animals at my resident. The panels and equipment were all installed within two days. The people working on the installation were able to answer any questions I asked. They also contacted the county inspector and were here for the inspection which immediately passed. The only people that have not been out to approve the panels was my electric company. I however, was told by Lumio that I would not be charged for the panels until PG&E gave their approval. What this means is I have had free electricity for several months. Since my bill had been from 500 to 1000 dollars each month, I no longer have to worry about paying my electric bill. I am definitely a happy customer and consumer of Lumio Solar Panels!

I'm a satisfied customer. Sunnova does great work. They were so efficient and timely. I like how the panels look on my roof. They took the proper time to have the engineers layout how the panels would best go on OUR roof. The appearance enhances the roof--not detract from it. The employees have been quite responsive to any questions I've had. The Solar Consultant, Richard Ford, was the game changer for me. He was willing to educate this consumer--not force solar panel sales and an educated consumer can make a better decision. We made an excellent decision in choosing Sunnova. I've already told at least 20 people to consider this company and go with my Solar Consultant, Richard F.

Our Sunnova roof is saving us a ton of money on electricity costs! BigWave Roofing and Solar was our installer (we're in South Jersey) and continues to provide great service to our system. My husband and I bought an old house a couple of years ago and decided to add solar due to the newest federal tax incentive. As Costco members, we tried getting pricing thru their SunRun rep, but they wasted about 3 months of our time to finally tell us that SunRun could only save us 10% on our energy bill because our old house didn't have sufficient attic space. Even the SunRun rep said that their company doesn't take difficult jobs. A friend of mine referred me to Mark at BigWave Roofing and Solar who is our Sunnova representative. Mark and his team came up with a plan and had my solar installed within the time frame that the other company had promised, and has provided excellent customer service since! We have over 45 panels on our 110+ year old home, and its great that the panels blend in well enough that no one has noticed we had solar installed. A few weeks after our house was up and running on solar, I was surprised when I received a text from one of BigWave's reps letting me know that they were dropping by the house because they noticed a few of our panels weren't functioning properly. I was very happy they saw our system was malfunctioning before I did! He had it fixed that day and we only lost a few hours of full functionality. So, we are very happy with our choice to go with Sunnova and BigWave Roofing and Solar.. it is a great combination!

So far so good. We had solar panels installed and have enjoyed near zero electric bills ever since, even when using the air conditioner in the heat of summer. I also like to feel that clean energy from this roof is contributing to the improvement of the overall balance of climate for the future. I recall the balance of the climate 80+ years ago when I was young and see the differences that have occurred in the last nearly a century of atmospheric changes with added CO2, CH4 and the reduction of O3 b/c of human behavior. I taught science for 28 years so I am conscious of these changes as I observe them happening around me.

Sunnova as a company has been expedient when it comes to dealing with anything with the solar installed on my home and being the service provider for my lease of the solar installed on my home. The representative who came over was great and informative along with the person who set the appointment both very helpfull when dealing with issues for the installing company. The installer, Tian Solar, on the other hand are useless. They changed the scope of the install didn’t follow permitting plans, making where we had to re-permit the job, and still haven’t received permission to operate 5 months after signing paper work. Besides screwing up install, then there is no communication from Titan solar from install department and management and the minimal communication we have had I feel has been dishonest. Sunnova is a great company to deal with this far, Titan Solar as an installer is horrible.

Extremely prompt service. Reps at Trinity solar are awesome. Any issues I had were talked to in an easy to digest answer when it came time to install such as " we need to update the tubing and wiring to conform to code to match the fuses" which by the way shout out to the tech that did that work on a sub 9 degree Saturday. After a month or two did I finally see the eversource bill take drastic drops. Now I don't pay eversource a dime. Infact they owe me as of right now, $270. Solar ain't the savior they make it out to be but it's certainly a more stable element when dealing with electric company monopolies.

The system was installed by Windmar. So far the system has worked as expected, and specially after the Hurricane Fiona, my neighbors were without electric service for about a week and I had my service full swing!!!! And my monthly payments as of today is almost 45 dollars less than what I would be paying my former utility company for the same consumption in kwh. As I check my app I can see that my poor neighbors are suffering from blackouts that are lasting 1 hour to 18 hours three and four times a week!!!! Thank you Windmar and Sunnova!!!! Hey... you... you reading this, what are you waiting to get your system???!!! to suffer 5 months without electricity like I suffered after Hurricane Maria??? Not Anymore, get your system NOW!!!!

Used local installation team Melpro, they were very efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. Installation was quick and desirable. Sonnova has been very good with updates and information. I live in Puerto Rico so we have had various power outages and we have not been effected by them at all. My bill to the grid has been an alarming service charge of 4.00 a month. We still use the grid but the offset of power given to the grid has been a delight. I have recommended Sonnova to friends and have connected and have the same experience. I am very satisfied and feel very confident that i can finally manage my energy usage at home.

I haven't had our system installed yet, however the initial process was extremely comfortable and smooth with Pat A. He spent a lot of time explaining all the financing options and gave honest opinions when asked. Our neighbor across the street installed Sunnova solar panels, and I looked at their installation and quality of products and was very happy with how Pat's installation team handled the entire process. They were meticulous with how they handled the hardware/parts, and made sure the installation looked professional and clean. Between seeing the units installed myself and getting Pat's word of honor that he and his team would be available anytime to resolve any future issues, the choice ended up being clear for us to go with Sunnova. Every other solar company I called was a bit stale and robotic in their customer service, and frankly didn't give me much confidence that we were an important client. Pat made us feel important and responded every time we had questions or concerns.

Where to start the salesman? Tony M absolutely awesome. Very enthusiastic. Very knowledgeable, personable all around. Great guy install team. Very professional, efficient fast when they left. Couldn't even tell they were there. The only issue that I had was my install was done sooner than originally anticipated which caused delays in my hookup. The town inspection the Trinity rep. Awesome! Very personable. Very knowledgeable. Went through everything after the inspection the hook up. Didn't even know what happened. Got the call saying to hook up. Everything's been good to go so far. Oh and along with the install team the guys that came in braced up my roof in and out cleaned up after themselves again. Didn't even know they were there. Very satisfied so far. Have and will recommend. Trinity solar to anybody wishing to go solar

From the start my rep was super involved and laid back, I explained my situation with an insurance claim and he was working with me every step of the way. Christopher R never pressured me to move any faster than I felt like moving forward. The day came that my claim was dropped and everything was on me, he worked very hard to find me the best deal on a roof and was very transparent on the costs, I could say enough good thing about he approach and the work he did for me. The day came for the roof and solar to be installed. Absolute professionals, worked quick like a well oiled machine. The roofing crew left my yard cleaner than when they started. The solar crew came a few days later. They did an amazing job, im very picky and im satisfied with how clean the install went all the way down to the conduit being ran through the roof and out the soffit to the contactor. When I saw the level on the contactor box knew these guys were awesome. Very knowledgeable crew they even showed me something in my panel that wasnt quite right previously done and how to correct it. The engineers decided that bracing was needed. The guys came back and knocked it out, they asked if I was planning to turn the attic into a room cause they would adjust the bracing to accommodate that scenario. All in all I couldnt be happier with my sales and installers. The system is operating now but the weather hasnt been great to see the actual performance.

Jake K the solar guy really is the best out there! Start to finish he was clear about pricing and 25 year battery 🔋 coverage and all inclusive warranty and maintenance so i never have to worry about solar working or being maintained! This is an incredible zero money down ownership program which here in Hawaii is a no brainer! I live in kailua, Hawaii and Jake made the process simple and straight forward and even fun! Install was quick and I got my Tesla battery for my pool and AC’s at my house! Highly recommend Jake the Solar Guy! If you live in Hawaii go solar with Jake! If you don’t go solar with Jake you’re crazy!

Working with the Sunnova team was an easy process start to finish. Initial discussions with the Sales Rep. was very informative and low pressure with all questions answered. Our project Coordinator was great and provide excellent ongoing communications on status of our installation schedule and next steps. On the day of the install, the crew was fabulous in their approach and took the time to go over their plans to ensure that I was OK with the placement of the equipment on the house. The installation went as planned and the finished product looks great. The neighbors have taken notice and are impressed by how the panels and other components look on our house. I would highly recommend Sunnova for Solar energy. Simply great! BTW, I think everyone needs to seriously consider Solar energy, as we all need to do our part to ensure for a better future for the planet. Go Solar with Sunnova, you won't be disappointed.

I was very happy with the overall experience. From the beginning when Steve came into my home and explained to me the savings I could make, To the gentleman that came and installed the panels, and did a thorough job cleaning up. I could not wait for the switch to be thrown So that I could experience the use of solar energy. I had received a phone call to check the numbers and within six hours I was already going backwards starting my savings so excited for this new adventure with Solar energy! I liked all workers,they knew there jobs,electrical,panel installers,sales all excellent. updated often by phone staff. i liked that the phone person was same person each time. Some company's call and seems like explaining things all ready went over with previous operated waste of my time. your company does it right. I remember Stephanie was operated Dwight was who i signed contract with. One problem being contacted last night to do review, stated my ID number sent successfully though email i never received maybe problem on my end i do not know. I hope my happiness continues. please check in 6 months or a year. I feel i will be very happy!!! People i talk to want a few months of my service from your company before they want to talk. how long is my incentive ? Overall i rate your company 100 i am impressed !!!!!

I made 17,430 kilowatt hours in 1 year: I have an electric heat pump pool heater, 90 degrees, all electric house, instant on electric water heater, LED lights, partial electric car, electric heat. I still produced an excess of over 5,000 kilowatt hours, have an electric bill of $21.69 (minimum charge). The micro inverters work great and minimize shade losses. Free manufactured electricity from sunshine, everyone can do it. You can too. Very easily. The technology just keeps getting better. Next step is a battery and Enphase IQ8 microinverters so when the next hurricane comes, I will have power for refrigerator, lights, car. I highly recommend Sunnova

The sales rep, Anthony D, was fantastic. He addressed any questions I had and was always available to talk with any concerns I had. He was very knowledgeable with the solar panel industry and I felt extremely comfortable with the service he and Suntuity was providing. Honestly; it's really the only reason I signed up for solar. I've had other solar panel companies contact me but they never really could answer my questions like Anthony did. The install was also great. When they arrived the explained the entire job they were doing and asked me if I had any questions or concerns. They were professional and the install looks great! The service team that I interacted with, specifically Shannon (can't remember her last name) was also amazing. Suntuity did a stellar job.

I had the Solar system installed recently and everything went great. Trinity (Sunnova) Gave us a time & date when they were going to install the system. They showed up on the date and were early when the men show up. They did everything they said they would do. They installed all the panels and the hardware for the system, they also upgraded my panel box in the basement. They left the my house very clean, no mess anywhere. The basement panel was a big upgrade and they left that better then it was. They did everything in ONE day. any phone call I made to Trinity was answered and were very easy to work with. Never had a problem with them. Everything worked out great!

I'm a new Sunnova customer. Suntuity was the solar company that did the installation and permitting for us. Suntuity kept us in the loop every step of the way. Their staff was excellent in answering all my questions through the process. They also assisted in getting me a new roof since our old roof was 20 years old. The process of taking off old roof and putting new roof on was one day. Installing solar panels and wiring one day. Keeping up with the inspections and approval process between my local Construction office and AC electric took the most time. From start to finish just under 4 months. Now looking forward to see my electric utility bill go down.

When I made the decision to go solar, I wanted to get info from a few different companies so I could make an informed decision. Each company brought something different to the table, but ultimately this is the decision I made. The customer service is beyond what I ever could have expected and my poor representative personally did a lot of work to make sure that the process was moving as efficiently as possible because that was something incredibly important for me. If I had any questions, they were answered immediately. They kept me updated every step of the way about where we were and how much more there would be to come. So excited to have recently gotten my solar system turned on and have finished such a big milestone for my home.

I have had nothing but great service with this company! The sales rep was terrific. He was very thorough and professional. I had several companies give estimates and none of the others offered any advice or answered my questions correctly. I was told by 3 other companies that I didn't need to know the information I was asking about! Two of the others didn't even go up on the roof to check things out. One sent a drone! Sunnova checked out all my bills for 12 months with the electric company and got the right estimate for me, gave me the best price and got my bills reduced by more than half. I would strongly recommend this company and have to all who ask about solar. So far 7 of my friends and neighbors have had solar installed by this company and are all quite happy.

They have arguably the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They moved all call centers overseas, and the reps will not put you through to a supervisor or US agent no matter your situation. On top of all that, our first service appointment was blown off entirely.

This has to be the worst company ever. They damaged numerous major appliances including but not limited to, refrigerator, dryer, garage opener, when they super surged my house after instalation. They have been dragging their feet with the the compensation for new appliances.

Sunnova is an incredibly frustrating company to deal with. A client of theirs gave them the wrong number to contact, my number. I received multiple texts and calls meant for their client. They would not delete my number from their account list even though I asked several times. Kept sending me texts and calling me on several occasions. They even sent me a link to review them since they STILL HAVE YET TO REMOVE ME FROM THEIR LIST. I hope their work makes up for an utter lack of care and attention to detail.
