I like the installation. The communication about how to turn it on could have been clearer. I thought it was on until I received a email three week later saying there was no signal. The instructions told us to turn the outside switch to on an flip the breaker box switches, but I believe the breaker box switch may have already been on and when we flip it it turned it off.

Our installer Noah made this happen. The city and Ameren had him scrambling for 2 months. If it wasn't for him answering questions and keeping us informed, we would have scrapped solar after the first month of back and forth. So the 5 stars are for him!

My husband and I both felt strongly about helping the environment so that made our decision to go solar easier. I feel Sunnova is an honest company and they didn't promise us anything outlandish that they couldn't deliver on. Our electric bill is much lower than it was and we receive many bills with a zero balance due.

So far Sunnova from first contact with Frank through installation has been great. Our first electric bill so far has been extremely low. It seems like everything is working the way it was explained. We’ve only had it for almost two months. Hopefully it continues to work out.

The customer service was amazing and responsive. Once the process started I was called and sent texts to confirm understanding. I would have liked to have been provided a realistic time line for the process as a whole before we got started. The whole process took about two months with scheduling, steps required from the power company city inspections etc. But it is turned on now🙂

It has been over a year since installation. I have not had any issues with my roof, the panels, customer service or billing. The only problem is that during the winter, the snow will come off in sheets which could be a problem. I think I will need to get something like snow guards installed.

I’ve had my solar panels now for 4 years & we are very happy. My only regret is not adding more at the time of purchase to account for future needs. But when refinanced 2 years ago calling them to remove the ucc filing was a breeze and quick. They were very professional & explained to me the process.

I was very impressed with the service that Team 1 gave us the first day of the installation, but they were called away on the second day to work somewhere else. The second team had some mishaps and it took them longer to install the solar, as we were told they would take an additional two days, but it took them much longer. I understand nothing is perfect, and things can happen while you are on site. The solar was finally installed, and hopefully we will be able to move forward.

Everything happened as planned. Everything is working well. I wish they didn’t have to shovel ice off my roof because there are little particles from my roof on my driveway and deck. I wonder if that will shorten the life of my roof. I have not had my panels long enough to pay the first bill

I am still not very agreeable on the location of the panels on the building, due to some trees blocking the sun. The original estimate hadn’t included the trench, then after I signed contract I had to sign another contract for the trench. The trench backfill had a very rocky surface and wasn’t rolled or made flat. Cleanliness while the install crew was there was not exceptional. I am really hoping for results from this system soon.

Sunnova manages my solar panel array, which has consistently produced most of the electricity we need for our home. Even with the many appliances we run in the house, the production seems to be sufficient to make us less dependent on the grid. The app that monitors the system is also quite user-friendly.

Great customer service! I was cautious at first because of other experiences with other solar companies but between V3 and Sunnova my experience has been great. Solar panels go in on Tuesday along with a new breaker box (2 days for the panel). Communication has been great for all steps leading up to this.

Very pleased with the whole process. My only go back would be for a better explanation of the federal tax credit. You don't get it all in the first year unless you owe huge taxes. I had to make significant investment changes to get the remaining 70% in the second year.

I liked the fact that on outlay of money was needed. The installation was fast. The only hold up JCP&L delays. No fault of Sunnova. Had only one issue that I did't even know about until the crew came to repair it! Very happy with the system.
