Under PPA, I do not have to worry about too much hardware-related maintenance but just general cleaning which I do not mind since I have my own solar panels. I work in the semiconductor industry and I know that all the battery/inverter/solar panel materials deteriorate gradually, having professional teams to take care of the delicate build is worth the money.

Today is one month since my solar installation and, like clockwork, I received my first bill from Sunnova. They are part of the seamless operation put together by the folks at Lumina Solar. The experience has been seamless and thoroughly professional. As the entity handling the financial aspect of the project, Sunnova would fare, and I’m happy to report that they came through with flying colors, just like Lumina and Enphase. The experience has been positive all around. Sunnova sent a simple bill breaking down the key elements so I could understand. I am happy to recommend them anytime.

The company was very proactive in contacting me even though I did not notice the emails at first (because of multiple companies involved). One I responded, I got a quick appointment at my convenience. The tech, Jesus, went above and beyond to try to get my Mobile app to talk to the solar Gateway after the fix. He stayed online with Tesla for 45 minutes waiting to get connected. Although we didn't get it solved, it later turned out to be that I needed to update the app. The tech was also very knowledgeable and respectful. The repair itself worked, and I am very satisfied at this point.

Sunnova was installing solar panels in my neighborhood and stopped by my house and spoke to me. The sales people were knowledgeable and not aggressive. After we agreed to have the panels installed the installers came out and were fast and finished the project in about 2 days without any incident. The follow up from the customer service department kept me informed on where the project was at all times and the follow up with any questions was fast. I was very satisfied with doing business with sunnova and look forward to being a customer for years to come.

The service tech was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The work performed was not a slap-dash job but done well. The scheduling did get moved, and if the system had been out at the time I would have been irate, but it wasn't out, and their movement was days in advance, not after just ghosting the original date. In total, they were professional, which is a minor miracle these days.

The system is running quite well and the installers did a great job. I'm a little annoyed about two things. The hiccup that prolonged the activation period by about two months could've been communicated to me before I had to go calling Con Edison and have them explain the delay was on the solar company's end. The other thing is the fact that I was told micro inverters were not a problem even though the typical install involves a central inverter. Well, I expressed micro inverters were my preference but come game day I'm now saddled with a central inverter. Not the end of the world but I'm wondering when the inverter fails, and it ought to at some point, how long my entire system is going to be down for before a repair can occur. We'll see, I guess. For now I'm happy with the system despite these complaints.

Despite the world erupting with Solar concepts there are not many companies actually working on servicing the systems. Sunnova was recommended under warranty to us by Generac, and has been the only reliable company that has serviced our units and achieved actionable results. However, do note, their out of country customer service helpline has been very spotty and not helpful in scheduling.

I worked with 3 different representatives. The lead, Marquis, his assistant Jared, and a female telephone customer service representative. Both reps at my door we're curtious and friendly. Thet did thier best to explain the situation and ensured I felt comfortable and informed. Dealing with the phone rep was about as helpful as screaming at a dumpster fire 🔥. She undermined the reps and insulted me more than once. She actively spent more time ignoring her responsibilities or placing blame on anyone else. She was the worst part of my experience and I hope to never deal with her again. A customer is a customer and if she can't be composed on the phone, she should consider a profession that highlights a different set of her skills.

Everything they told me about how they will save me money on electric was true. They looked at my year consumption power. What I lease the panels for and what I would pay my electric company are close but when they raise rates I will be protected. Now Sunnova does a 1.5 percent increase a year. Still, I think I come out better. I want to know at the end of my electric company year when I settle my bill will I get that money back? If I do it would cover Solar bill and I will be getting electric for free.

I was a contractor for 40 plus years and are accustomed to hiring subcontractors. Solar is a tough field. My experience is that there are many sellers that are inexperienced and don't have the necessary training or customer focus. Sunnova did the best in a tough field. Our sales person, Nigel, was personable, responded to questions, followed up and kept all appointments. One other guy said he would not come out until we cut our big maple trees down. I asked another guy for panel specifications and he sent me a picture. I guess he didn't know what specifications are. One or two didn't answer phone calls. They can use Google to look at your house and decide to return your call or not. My advice to them is if you don't show up it is guaranteed you won't get a contract. My advice to you is be sure to meet with Sunnova. We're happy with the work, contract and performance.

I’m really happy with the results. I haven’t had an electric bill in two years. I use to have as $200+ bill in the summer for central air. I have 7 cool rooms in the summer and tons of laundry each day. It’s a big savings to me. I only pay for panels each month. It’s really helped slot during this challenging economy. Thank God, since everything else has either tripled in cost. I didn’t think I’d really save at first since we still have slot of trees blocking light in the morning, but it didn’t hinder the performance of the panels. Best investment I’ve made.

I really liked the technical knowledge the 2 young men had who came out to evaluate Pink Energy’s bastardized solar system. The 1 thing I did not care fire was the short notice I received notifying me when the crew would coming out. I was notified Monday afternoon (Memorial Day) that the crew would be here the next day from 7-10 am. I would have liked to have had a few days notice.

Sales people were friendly, not too pushy, and very informative of cost breakdown, installation process and answered all my questions. Installers were timely, efficient and very professional. Service reps kept me up to date on some inspection and power company snafus and helped keep things progressing. And last month I had my first "negative" power usage from the power company! Looking forward to many more with the super sunny weather we've had! Don't have battery system yet - but WILL be looking into it in a couple years! Awesome experience!

I am a victim of power home solar/ pink energy bankruptcy filings, back in September 2022 I had an issue with my solar system the power cell was giving me a error message I called Generac because it was their equipment I called them multiple times to get service and they told me that they contracted with sunnova for the service, it was a full 8 months from when I called them till sunnova was dispatched to my house for service, which was only a blown fuse!, I could have fixed it myself.all in all sunnova is a great service provider and hopefully I will not have any more problems.

I had such a great experience going solar with Sunnova and OurWorldEnergy. Every single member of the team was kind, knowledgeable, and patient with me throughout the process. I couldn't have asked for any better guidance. My system was up and installed in just about a month, and I already have seen saving. My bill decreased 70% from the usual, but that wasn't even with a full month of solar on the billing cycle so I expect even more!

They answered all of my questions, provided me with honest information, were not pushy, and seemed to be genuinely interested in our needs and wants. The guys who put up the panels were great! They were fast, efficient and polite. My dog made friends with them during their break. This will be the summer when I keep the AC on, in all of the rooms, all of the time!

Ever since I got the system with SUNNOVA the electricity in my house is back to normal. No more ups or downs on power. No more shutdowns. I didn't have A/C in my house because of the highest cost of the electricity bills I was getting. I was closed to $200.00 a month. Now I have SUNNOVA and I have A/C in all of my rooms. I haven't had any issue whatsoever with SUNNOVA and everything is working the way is supposed to be.

Puerto Rico is a tropical island exposed to hurricanes, earthquakes, and blackouts. If you want to sleep peacefully and without worries, Windmar Sunnova is the solution. I have had SUNNOVA since the summer of 2019. Unfortunately, due to the Puerto Rico earthquake and blackout in January 2020, I spent a week with Tesla's solar panels and battery, which worked!

Sunnova took over my account system AFTER (about 4 yeas) the original company that first installed my ground mount solor system. That original company was a NIGHTMARE! It took them 3 YEARS to complete my system and get it up and running after I signed up! Nothing but PROBLEMS AND VERY POOR Panning on their part! After SUNNOVA took over it has been GREAT!! I really like them as a company. The employees are polite, helpful and happy in their jobs, which says something about the company as a whole. The installation took a little while as it was during the beginninf of supply chain issues, but once it was time, the installation was excellent. Quick, great crew, cleaned up after themselves. PPA terms were better than Sun Run and Momentum. Our Sales Rep was also MUCH less pushy than other companies that quoted us and let us decide in our own time. We installed just before winter and as soon as winter was over we had a $0 utility bill and a credit every month so far. Sunnova opened cases on their own in the winter due to some low production days without us even having to contact them. The customer portal is also great and gives you system production details up to the hour of day. Couldn’t be happier with our decision.

The reps of Sunnova bent over backwards to explain installation, amount of savings, finding a lender,etc. Installing and explaining the app to monitor the electricity generated was easy to do. Our sales Rep Steve M was awesome! He sat down with us and wrote notes and explained things as thoroughly as possible to us in a half an hour. He was there for us with any questions we had. Installation of our new roof and panels was super fast! Waiting for the electric’s approval was the longest part and that is no fault of Sunnova’s. Great Tech definitely knew what he was doing. We had a horrible experience with Pink Solar who installed our system, and they went out of business and now we have none to service our warranty on our panels luckily Sunnova stepped up and took care of us for the Generac warranty I have strong confidence they will take good care of us in the future if needed.

Jordan's (foreman) crew Dave, Manny, Brandon & John warrant the highest accolades. Not only were they courteous & polite, but obvious professionals. I spent both days with them, watching the install. Not only did they tolerate my numerous technical questions, they answered them clearly & comprehensively. Safety was always enforced & the area was kept neat & organized. Upon completion, the area was walked multiple times, looking for little bits of scrap, etc. If you go with Sunova Solar, request Jordan's team. I promise you won't be disappointed.

We looked at a lot of different solar companies and found it difficult and cumbersome to go through the sales pitches and determine what was right for us. Sunnova fell in our lap because we worked with the contractor on other projects. We are so happy to have contracted through Sunnova. It took a while to get the ball rolling for the panels to finally be installed. Now that we have had a full year, I am thrilled that we made the decision. We were able to use electric heat for most of the winter and did not have to purchase any electricity from eversource. It's nice to save money doing something that's good for the environment. It was nice to get the great big check from taxes as well.

I have a very small house, 725 sq. it's still winter and I've yet to get "direct" sunlight on my panels, BUT the current output of them is pretty much keeping up with my usage even after a few cloudy days. I can only hope they will cover my use of air-conditioning in the summer, at the current rate, I suspect it will. Overall, extremely pleased. FROM BELOW; took about 4 months to install from start to finish (that option not offered)---my bill is under $10 from Eversource (suspect they will owe me money this summer) while my bill to Sunnova IS less than 1/2 what I used to pay Eversource.

i have been a custumer of sun nova for over 5 years and all i can say is I have no regrets about going solar . the security of not worrying about going in to the darkness is priceless. life on an island can have a turn for the worst in no time during a hurracane season . but that's all in the past now . not having to worry about the long lines at a gas station to get gas for a generator or to worry about loosing all the groceries in the fridge because you have no power gives you a feeling of freedom like no other. Thanks to you all at Sun Nova for making it happened !!!!!

Communication between the Electrical engineering crew and the county was terrible and resulted in my direct interaction with the county to determine what the 400a service connection to the utility would look like. Our project was a learning experience for our project contractor. The quality of the project overall is very good. Our project took over 5 months from groundbreaking to final approval and activation of the system. Nearly 10 months from contract signing to completion.

Sonnova has kept to their word and their schedule. When first installed my bill from Sam Houston went to $364. next month $234. Sam Houston maintained the problem was the new equipment. Sam Houston had installed a new meter the same day the batteries were installed. Two months later they reinstalled a new meter. Sunnova pointed out that they only store the electricity and the flow is controlled by "net metering" which is in the New meter. While on the phone to Sam Houston I pointed this out to them and said if the new bill goes down substantially, it's you. The next bill was $.51 .

All the gents that entered our home were polite, knowledgeable and respected each room they entered. There was virtually nothing left on the property for us to clean up. It was installed in Oct and were told that it would take until Spring, when there was more sunlight to see the benefit and they were exactly right! The past 7 months have cost us a TOTAL of $149, in addition to our purchase but that is well beyond what we thought it would cost. Brett Y did a fantastic job in presenting the product and I would and have recommended him to any and all interested in Solar!!
