We had many companies come to our house and try to sell us solar panels one even tried to rent solar panels to us but they were not within our budget. Sunova is the only one who offered us exactly what we needed. We are pre-senior citizens and are looking at a fixed budget in which we needed solar panels in order to make sure that our quality of life is not compromised because of the soaring electric rates. So nova offered us a budget based rental of solar panels in which they maintain them for us which is another plus and fits within our budget. We were concerned about any maintenance and repairs that might occur but that worry is completely gone. They are solely responsible for whatever happens to the Panels that is beyond our control. This is the best program out there. As a mathematician the math adds up. I read the entire 32 pages of the contract and everything seemed legitimately good.

We have partnered with Sunnova twice now because when we moved to a different house that did not have solar we knew what we were missing and it was a no brainer to seek them out again for solar panels. Absolutely no regrets, and would 100% do it again at both locations if I had to.

First of off it took 5 months for the whole project to be completed and system turned on. Second the job of putting the panels in the roof, I wouldn’t recommend those people to do any type of work. I don’t think they should have been slide down the panels to get off of the roof. Yes I know they are durable but I don’t think a 200lbs guy should be sliding down them. Third thing is wiring. After what I saw how they put wires through metal flexible conduit. Just got pray my house doesn’t burn down. You don’t stand there and keep gabbing the three wires through and hope they make it through without tearing the sheathing of the wire. I wouldn’t recommend those wire pulled back out and be replaced after that. Why didn’t they use a snake and pull them through. Fourth thing is where the guy fell through my ceiling they could have done a better job putting the drywall compound on. It’s a noticeable repair. They never did anything about the other drywall issue in the bathroom. Wish there was another way for me to monitor my system to see how many volts, amperage or watts it’s put out. Yes on your site you could see kw’s but I would like more. I’m an industrial mechanic and I’m very picky on how stuff is done. To be truthful with you I wasn’t happy thing the whole installation process and how long to get it up and running. Now I have to wait till next you to see what a full day of sun would produce with my system. So probably right now I’m going get stuck paying you guys monthly fee and I guess PP&L because I don’t have enough credits built up because how long it took to get system up and running. And don’t say you had to wait for inspection from town and PP&L. Because it would have never got inspected if I did asked about my inspection. It’s almost like they forgot. It was amazing couple days later Frackville sent there engineer out to do there inspection. What about PP&L did they send anyone out to inspect the hook? Hmmm No they didn’t. No one at all came to my house from PP&L to do an inspection. So what was the big hold up getting my system up and running then? To be honest I probably won’t recommend trinity solar and you guys for anything after the whole experience I had.

The Sunwise/Sunnova team has been great. They handled all of the permitting and installation. The work crew was great! They completed my installation in one day. Any questions I had were quickly answered. Esmeralda was extremely helpful and helped me with everything from the beginning to end, including walking me through how to download the Enphase App. It took about 2 months to get my system completed with all of the final inspections. Then it took about another month until I was powered up. This was no fault of Sunnova. They had to wait for my electric company to give final approval. All in all a great job by Sunnova.

Looks great. Still waiting for Electric company to come and approve the switch of us over to use of solar panels. They stated 4-6 weeks, it's been 3 weeks. Some confusion toward the end of the process. I guess that is to be expected when you have to make yourself and your home available to multiple companies.

Very satisfied with installation and performance so far. Just went on line generating in September. I would like to be able to see solar generation and my power consumption better in the Sunnova app. On my phone. I’m able to see the production with a number and bar graph however I can not see my generation numbers with my consumption and what numbers I bank or not. Maybe I’m not using the application on phone correct?

GREAT customer services. Sunnova called me frequently to keep me updated with the progress and asked if there were ever any concerns. Sales rep was very straight forward and personable. Electrical work was completed in a day. Solar panel Installation was completed in a day. The site was left neat and clean upon completion. I literally had to do nothing, Sunnova too care of everything (ie: permit, inspections, communications w/ electrical provider, etc).

I’ve had a rather frustrating experience with Sunnova solar panels. They subcontract the installation company Freedom Forever, and unfortunately, Freedom Forever has made a few mistakes. They’ve installed the panels on the wrong side of the roof, despite the panels producing electricity as expected. When I reached out to Sunnova to express my concerns, they suggested I contact Freedom Forever. However, Freedom Forever then redirected me back to Sunnova, leaving me feeling stuck and uncertain about how to proceed. I’ve decided to seek legal advice to explore my options and find a resolution to this issue. Don’t go with Sunnova.

The two day installation went into overtime and it became too dark to cut the rails that extended beyond the roof. We were told that on the first day the install team arrived without all their tools so the second day they had to hustle to get the job done leaving someone else to come out to cut the rails that overhang the roofs. We waited over two weeks until the town inspector came and the installer cut the rails over the garage but wasn't able to cut the rails over the house roof. When will someone come and cut these rails???

First off, communications was poor. Many times there were delays answering my quest for information. Scheduling info was sketchy when it was relayed to me. There were various problems during the installing thatcaused delays. The installation presented issues for the fire dept. There were conduits that caused obstructions to the fighters. It took 2 returns visits to correct the issue. My home has a metal roof. The conduit would prevent fire fighters from using roof ladders should it ever became necessary. Speaking to the installers, they told me that they had little to no experience working on metal roofs. The second time they came to move the conduit I had to explain where they should route it to meet the fire dept. requirement. The second crew that came out also left a mess of wire and other debris on our drive way that we had to clean up. I feel that there were unnecessary delays in turning on the system.

Sunnova was assigned to check and / or repair my solar system by Generic since the original company that installed the system wasn't responsive after multiple attempts to contact them. Sunnova's crew quickly reviewed and tested my system and identified the failed component. They replaced it as well as installed and updated circuit board. Ram a test that showed the system would operate inormally during a power failure and reported their findings and showed me the replaced parts. Very professional

The initial set up with Trinity Solar and East to West Solar (the installing company) was a little unorganized and had some confusions since we had to run a trench across our driveway but once that was resolve the installation was flawless. And so far, I think the solar panels are doing well. I see the charts online, but it would be nice to have a follow up to know if they are running the way that was expected.

Well I send an email and called my sales person the email never were answered the sales person was busy and should call me back when she have a moment been more than a week ! First after installation the system didn't pass inspection than they showed up in the morning not even call to tell me anything the inspector came again same morning he was upset because the repairs should be done before not in the same moment than I claimed to the attic and found they removed the insulation to run the wires and never put them back also when they installed the solar panels the 4 inches screws instead of go in the beams they just perforated the roof leaving a dangerous spot so now to move around got to becareful with my head ! I asked to the sales person about the edge of the panels because the guy replaced my gutters tell me they are to close to the edge when snow comes down off the panels they will take the gutters down or damage them ! I got an email from sunnova telling my system was canceled so now not sure what is going on with it also I asked how I know my system is working or production because isn't any meter on the electrical box I have my old system from Sunrun and the meter shows everything and is 10 years old so no body come and give me guidance about this no calls no nothing I answered the text message from them about the survey and didn't answer either! So what happens you get the system installed like crap and not even have the decency of call to schedule to review with a costumer! I tough this company will be better than Sunrun because of sales person but the way I see is the same garbage

The sales process, inspections and installation went very smooth, of course . But as soon as the installation, the customer service was very bad. I have still not received the final email since the pto. I called customer service finally and was able to get a link to monitor my service. Thankfully, the rep was very helpful and took accountability for the lack of customer service I had received. Overall , we are still happy with our solar service and would recommend.

The installation was seamless and professional. It is too early to tell if we will see any savings on our electric bill. We were told by the sales person that they would have someone trim the oak tree in our back yard to maximize the sunshine on the panels but that has not been scheduled and can’t get anyone to tell me when that will occur spite of my inquiries to the office and to the sales person. I also asked about getting an app to monitor performance but have not received a response. I would appreciate having a designated contact person.

I like the installation. The communication about how to turn it on could have been clearer. I thought it was on until I received a email three week later saying there was no signal. The instructions told us to turn the outside switch to on an flip the breaker box switches, but I believe the breaker box switch may have already been on and when we flip it it turned it off.

After a storm damaged some of my connectors to my solar panel, I called Generac and they scheduled Sunnova to come out and make the repairs. They came and fixed everything so I am back in good shape. I’m very appreciative of the great work done by the repairman.

My inverter went out on 8-19-2024. I noticed it not working 3 day later. Called to get it fixed they came ordered part which came in bout 5 days later. They scheduled to come 9-18-2024. Almost a month to get it fixed. My solar panels are paid off and I still have to wait a month to get it fixed. Very disappointed on the maintenance service .

I was getting checks ins from phone calls every 3 to 4 months . Been when I was asked how my solar system was working I told them I was paying WAY more then my electric bill. Representative said he would follow up the following month to see how the solar system is working for the following month and never called . That was may of 2023 .. It’s now a year and a half later no follow up on my concern of me paying WAY more now going solar .. My electric bills where half of what I pay for solar
