The process took a very long time. A lot of back and forth. I'm glad I'm a Project Manager as I had to manage and coordinate between Sunnova and V3 and the 3rd party electrical contractor to get this project finished up. 3rd party electrical contractor almost caught house on fire with poor electrical wiring which was against code. The staff that did show up at the house never knew what they were working on and relyed on me to tell them and coordinate with your other team member to determine how to get them to accomplish the tasks. I'm glad I'm an engineer and my boyfriend is and electrician. Lots of mis wiring and also had the battery backup mis-wired for I don't know how many years as it was feeding off the grid and not the solar system which is probably another reason our true up bill had been so high every year. The electrician and V3 staff told us this as well. I will be moving in the coming months and I just hope that this potion of the sale of the house with the leased solar goes more smoothly than the install did.

Everyone I dealt with, both for getting a new roof and the solar panels, was pleasant and efficient. I am so grateful to Leo B for making all the arrangements for everything from financing to permitting to installation to inspection. I couldn’t have done it myself but I surely needed a replacement for my nearly 30-year-old roof. My sincere thanks to everyone who participated in the process. I will certainly refer others to your company.

Now it seems that they haven’t been able to help me put the APP on my phone and complete all the items I was promised for signing up for your service. The install team was very efficient, FPL took a while to make the final connection to the power grid. I sent a message to Juan and am awaiting a response and his arrival to my home.

Mike Hommel

When our original solar installer failed us, not communicating for months at a time, we contacted Generac to get us a replacement. They sent out Sunnova within 2 days, to meet our very tight schedule, and Sunnova was able to fully diagnose our system that day and replace multiple parts. This after over a year of lies and lack of communication from our previous company was an incredibly impressive showing of competence and dedication.

I have two teenagers in the house and I also charge my Tesla and without solar I was feeling the weight of my monthly utilities. I love saving on my monthly energy costs with solar now! We wanted a solar company that was not going to disappear in a few years, but was also not so large that they lost site of the customer. Glad we found Sunnova. Every person we have been spoken with from Sales to Installers have been extremely pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to be sure the needs of an elderly family member were always met. Every question we have had has been respectfully answered. I would most definitely recommend going solar and using Sunnova.

The solar panels installed on my roof for me are great. However, it is important that the electricity company does have a solar buy back plan and it would be good if Sunnova would review and then advise their customers that there is a cheaper option. The first electricity company that I was with had a solar buy back plan and then they stopped it after about a year. I then transferred to Chariot Energy to their 3 year solar plan and now i am a happy camper.

The efficiency of every member of my team was exceptional. My salesman, Miguel F, spent 5 hours explaining everything. No question was left unanswered . I was notified about when each group would come and they were on time, professional and careful. They were also great about leaving the site neat. The final inspection by the 2 electricians from the company found a wire from my box to the water meter that needed grounding. The town inspector told me that he’s had good experiences with SUNNOVA. Thank you.

Panels installed by Trinity Solar are working great.... The whole process from signing contract to installation to setting up account went fast. The reason for only 4 **** Stars was the very poor, almost useless Sunnova App which only shows 3 things... KWH for Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days and All Time. Does not show daily amounts or other info on performance of system. (I had cell/PC App on my previous solar system when I lived in CT which gave all that info!!!) I would rate the Sunnova App a grade of "F". I was able to get the great app from inverter manufacturer Solar Edge... I would give Solar Edge app a grade of A+ -- Sunnuva MUST make available an app that allows users to see performance of system (which will enable users to show friends their results which will lead to referrals.

I have had no issues with the company. I knew during contracting that my bill would go up by about $5.00 every 6 months or so, which I was told is less than projected increases from my electric company, but I do wish that it was less than a dollar every 6 months or a year. Wishing thinking, but I just wanted to say that. You are doing very well because that is my only concern. Thank you for such good service! My family and I appreciate it!

I gave Sunnova a 5 rating and in doing so, the benifit of the doubt. This adventure has taken 3 months longer than predicted. I believe Sunnova was powerless as living in a rural area was tha main cause of delay and the other, Arizona Public Sevice, my energy provider. Sunnova's communication throughout the process was outstanding as was the installer, Titan. If considering solar, i recommend Sunnova! Thx

We have only had our system operational for about 1 week, but we have had wonderful technical support with all our questions. The process of getting solar up and running after purchasing our home was fairly seamless. After the electric provider approved the solar, it was switched on automatically...pretty neat. I can check my electric provider and they show the power that has been generated by the panels compared to consumption from the grid. The app works pretty well, but it does seem like the current production is behind a while (not sure if it's 30 mins, an hour or more). I don't yet have a full week's worth of data, so it might be due to that.

Knowledgeable sales rep and a well oiled team all the way around. Communication was regular and respectful of my time. Installation went smooth as glass and that includes a snafu where they discovered my breaker box had been incorrectly installed. Their electrician was so knowledgeable and professional he just notified me of the problem, showed me the problem and switched to plan B without so much as a hiccup. Even after the installation I was kept in the loop regarding inspection and the actual turn on of my system. Thank you Sunnova!

They did an absolutely fantastic job. Installing solar on our house and carriage house. It was a difficult installation which required 3 1/2 days due to the fact that there were panels in two places on our house and two places on our carriage house; for a total of four banks of panels. Using Pre-existing conduit pipes that we had in our home., they were able to hide all wires with absolutely no wires on the exterior of the house. Sunnova was fantastic.

Our sales person, Joe B, was great. I don't know if I would've been convinced to go solar if it wasn't for him. He was so friendly, personable, and you knew you could trust what he was saying with no BS. He was also so knowledgeable; explaining each step in detail and why going solar is so important. being first time solar, had many questions, the rep sat, explained and helped me make the decision. The decision was the best decision I ever made. The cost never changes, being senior citizen on fixed income you never have to worry what the bill will be. When issue (although with a bit of nudging) they came out and fixed it. Not realizing what nature could do to the panels (hit by lightning) but, once here resolved.

When I was first interested in solar panels years ago, Trinity Solar was working in the neighborhood and they were connected with Sunnova and that’s how I was introduced to Sunnova. I thought they were going to put them on my house but I have a four stone garage and that seem to be the better place for it and I was thrilled that that’s where it, Sunova wanted to put them. I have never had any problem with their work that they couldn’t handle almost immediately and I’ve had lots of free electric bills over the years.

Well where to start, the guys who did the install were very very respectful with my property and did a very good job on install and clean up did not leave any mess behind at all, and the next thing is the salesman "TYLER M" is hands down the best salesman i ever dealt with i wish he could be the salesman for everything i want to buy he is the best i could go on and on about him but i will stop and if anyone ever wants solar i WILL recommend him for sure

I have purchased solar panels and a battery back-up system from Sunnova. The process has been extremely smooth and I appreciate the constant inspections and follow up site visits. We had an issue with one of the batteries and and they figured out the problem before I knew it was a problem. The battery was replaced quickly. I would definitely recommend Sunnova!

Our experience with Sunova was wonderful and seamless. Other than signing the contract we did not have to do anything, including arranging of the financing at rates that made it fell like a gift rather than an expense.. The crew that installed the system were extremely professional and quick. The installation was neat and attractive. We are very pleased with the reductions in our electric bills, especially in the summer. We only wish they did business in Vermont so we could use them to install solar on our cabin.

Doing a great job however I’m a little perplexed as to why no one has contacted us about coming out to the house to explain how the system works and what we need to do if there is a problem with our system and what happens when we don’t have sun for a long period of time or what happens when we have a power outage? There are lots of questions that need answered that I know other users have told me they didn’t get answers for as well and I think that Sunnova who takes over once the panels go love, need to make a home visit to discuss these types of things with the homeowners. I am in the process of trying to reach out to them now to set up an apt tongonpcer these things.

Under PPA, I do not have to worry about too much hardware-related maintenance but just general cleaning which I do not mind since I have my own solar panels. I work in the semiconductor industry and I know that all the battery/inverter/solar panel materials deteriorate gradually, having professional teams to take care of the delicate build is worth the money.

Today is one month since my solar installation and, like clockwork, I received my first bill from Sunnova. They are part of the seamless operation put together by the folks at Lumina Solar. The experience has been seamless and thoroughly professional. As the entity handling the financial aspect of the project, Sunnova would fare, and I’m happy to report that they came through with flying colors, just like Lumina and Enphase. The experience has been positive all around. Sunnova sent a simple bill breaking down the key elements so I could understand. I am happy to recommend them anytime.

The company was very proactive in contacting me even though I did not notice the emails at first (because of multiple companies involved). One I responded, I got a quick appointment at my convenience. The tech, Jesus, went above and beyond to try to get my Mobile app to talk to the solar Gateway after the fix. He stayed online with Tesla for 45 minutes waiting to get connected. Although we didn't get it solved, it later turned out to be that I needed to update the app. The tech was also very knowledgeable and respectful. The repair itself worked, and I am very satisfied at this point.

Sunnova was installing solar panels in my neighborhood and stopped by my house and spoke to me. The sales people were knowledgeable and not aggressive. After we agreed to have the panels installed the installers came out and were fast and finished the project in about 2 days without any incident. The follow up from the customer service department kept me informed on where the project was at all times and the follow up with any questions was fast. I was very satisfied with doing business with sunnova and look forward to being a customer for years to come.

The service tech was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The work performed was not a slap-dash job but done well. The scheduling did get moved, and if the system had been out at the time I would have been irate, but it wasn't out, and their movement was days in advance, not after just ghosting the original date. In total, they were professional, which is a minor miracle these days.
