I rate Sonova this way because of my overall experience throughout the process.Kym G stayed engaged throughout the entire process and still respond when we teach out to her. Great customer experience with her and definitely a 5 star dealing with her. I would have given them a 5 star but the Engineer that came gave me some false info about adding panel on my rear drop roof. I would definitely refer them to anyone interested in solar panels.

I have been calling V3 customer service trying to get answers on the way my LG battery is working, It has been over three week of phone calls after phones trying to get answer and not get anywhere. Being an electrician myself. It's a simple program change that can be done remotely from V3 office. Other then that we are still waiting to see how thing play out with the new system.

We appreciated the financing arrangement included - that was a big draw. But I got confused by suddenly dealing with Current Home; I didn't understand who that was. Then someone else came to do installation. Current Home set uip an appointment, the installer came on a different day and time. It got very confusing; I was not kept informed of what was going on, by whom, or when. I was not happy.

The support Company, Trinity Solar/Roofing, was easy to work with and their work was satisfactory. The sales and support staff were friendly, professional and all questions were answered. The work was performed in a timely matter and communication was maintained throughout the installation process. I am awaiting answers on monitoring the Tesla Power Wall as one battery is not reporting to the app. can be monitored via the web on the Sunnov client site.

They have responded to my issues. The product was put up prior to covid closures. There were some roof issues. I was contacted after quite some time. People came out and fixed the issue of leakage in the house. There was nothing fixed in the interior. I have contacted them and got a response but had been out of the area.

They were very good in delivering the product but didn't quite understand that I may have an electricity bill still. Luckily now we do see the credit but did not like paying $98.12 plus Green Mountain bill..that may continue until summer time when AC is used but at least we will see the credit applied.

Overall well organized interface with customers and clear contract with helpful info broken out. Customer service reps also work to resolve questions and issues. Only thing I didn't like was waiting for the first invoice to be released and having 3 days to pay it. If I wasn't on automatic payments that would have been a problem for me.

They did a good job. My only critique was the explanation of the process lacked information about the complexity and time that would be involved in getting the panels up and running. Most of that delay was due to the electric company and there required work.

HAd contacted local rep after installation wit a concern and never got a response. Also one man came to follow up after the installation and said he found a minor problem that he said would be addressed. when the crew came they said they couldn't find anything wrong. no explanation was ever given.

Everything was pretty typical of the process of getting solar. This is me second time buying solar. Everything happens behind the scenes so to speak and since I haven''t had to contact them because everything has gone pretty smooth. No hassle and everything happens the way it should.

We didn’t like the length of time for the installation to be completed. There were multiple times that the installers came back with a part that had to be installed. We felt the installers weren’t very knowledgeable from the beginning of the install. There were parts that they should have carried with them. And communication wasn’t always good between the installers and the company. We received calls from Texas wanting to schedule visits when the men were at our location or had already done the work. Sunnova has been helpful and straightened out the one issue we had with them in the very beginning.

First of off it took 5 months for the whole project to be completed and system turned on. Second the job of putting the panels in the roof, I wouldn’t recommend those people to do any type of work. I don’t think they should have been slide down the panels to get off of the roof. Yes I know they are durable but I don’t think a 200lbs guy should be sliding down them. Third thing is wiring. After what I saw how they put wires through metal flexible conduit. Just got pray my house doesn’t burn down. You don’t stand there and keep gabbing the three wires through and hope they make it through without tearing the sheathing of the wire. I wouldn’t recommend those wire pulled back out and be replaced after that. Why didn’t they use a snake and pull them through. Fourth thing is where the guy fell through my ceiling they could have done a better job putting the drywall compound on. It’s a noticeable repair. They never did anything about the other drywall issue in the bathroom. Wish there was another way for me to monitor my system to see how many volts, amperage or watts it’s put out. Yes on your site you could see kw’s but I would like more. I’m an industrial mechanic and I’m very picky on how stuff is done. To be truthful with you I wasn’t happy thing the whole installation process and how long to get it up and running. Now I have to wait till next you to see what a full day of sun would produce with my system. So probably right now I’m going get stuck paying you guys monthly fee and I guess PP&L because I don’t have enough credits built up because how long it took to get system up and running. And don’t say you had to wait for inspection from town and PP&L. Because it would have never got inspected if I did asked about my inspection. It’s almost like they forgot. It was amazing couple days later Frackville sent there engineer out to do there inspection. What about PP&L did they send anyone out to inspect the hook? Hmmm No they didn’t. No one at all came to my house from PP&L to do an inspection. So what was the big hold up getting my system up and running then? To be honest I probably won’t recommend trinity solar and you guys for anything after the whole experience I had.

Install was quick. So far things are working well. Concerns: We are still finding wire, metal, brackets and even a tool today, weeks after Install. We have dogs and small kids. We keep looking for more things that are in the yard or keep falling from the roof. Clean up post Install was a clear 1 star. Also, wish we would have been advised of ice slides. We would have asked for ice/snow blocks when the crew was installing the panels. Now, we need to have someone come back. Ice slides are falling on our walkway. Feel free to call me to discuss more.

Well it was just turned on a couple days ago. All the people that were here for installation and there after worked and answered all our questions. We did think we would have it on a little sooner but it is up and running now. We hope it will be a great benefit for us down the road. The only thing I don't like is the billing through email. Call me old fashion but I like getting the paper bill in the mail.

The Sunwise/Sunnova team has been great. They handled all of the permitting and installation. The work crew was great! They completed my installation in one day. Any questions I had were quickly answered. Esmeralda was extremely helpful and helped me with everything from the beginning to end, including walking me through how to download the Enphase App. It took about 2 months to get my system completed with all of the final inspections. Then it took about another month until I was powered up. This was no fault of Sunnova. They had to wait for my electric company to give final approval. All in all a great job by Sunnova.

All staff were polite and personable, the process seems to have gone smoothly. A very minor detail is I offered to clear some things put if the way in our attic, and the workers said it wasn’t necessary, but the. Afterwards I found some things had been shoved around and left in a bit of disorder. This is not awful, but a bit disconcerting, when Inoffered to make a clear path for them. So far so good, but awaiting the final approval from JCP&L and the turn on. Mt he very positive is the help for the folks who came to meet the various inspectors, they were very helpful. And it was nice they shepherded the whole process for us.

The initial process of going through the contracts and agreements was great. Smooth. When it came time for install it seemed smooth at first. The crews change each visit along with the quality of work. From what I can tell, the solar panels look great on the roof. From the groundwork done from crews it’s messy, metal scrapings, razor blades, torn up grass *they did spread some seed after complaint, the electrical work inside left shavings and pieces of pipe. They cut my internet cable coming into the house and didn’t let us know, I had to have Comcast come out twice to figure out the problem. I was compensated for the visits and cost of wire from the installer afterwards. I had no issue with communication just the ground work. Which I was compensated for. I just wasn’t expecting that poor quality of work on the outside and eye level of home. They knew I had children and leaving all the stuff behind was lazy. I’m hoping going forward the solar panels work and all is good!

Panels installed by Trinity Solar are working great.... The whole process from signing contract to installation to setting up account went fast. The reason for only 4 **** Stars was the very poor, almost useless Sunnova App which only shows 3 things... KWH for Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days and All Time. Does not show daily amounts or other info on performance of system. (I had cell/PC App on my previous solar system when I lived in CT which gave all that info!!!) I would rate the Sunnova App a grade of "F". I was able to get the great app from inverter manufacturer Solar Edge... I would give Solar Edge app a grade of A+ -- Sunnuva MUST make available an app that allows users to see performance of system (which will enable users to show friends their results which will lead to referrals.

Doing a great job however I’m a little perplexed as to why no one has contacted us about coming out to the house to explain how the system works and what we need to do if there is a problem with our system and what happens when we don’t have sun for a long period of time or what happens when we have a power outage? There are lots of questions that need answered that I know other users have told me they didn’t get answers for as well and I think that Sunnova who takes over once the panels go love, need to make a home visit to discuss these types of things with the homeowners. I am in the process of trying to reach out to them now to set up an apt tongonpcer these things.

The system is running quite well and the installers did a great job. I'm a little annoyed about two things. The hiccup that prolonged the activation period by about two months could've been communicated to me before I had to go calling Con Edison and have them explain the delay was on the solar company's end. The other thing is the fact that I was told micro inverters were not a problem even though the typical install involves a central inverter. Well, I expressed micro inverters were my preference but come game day I'm now saddled with a central inverter. Not the end of the world but I'm wondering when the inverter fails, and it ought to at some point, how long my entire system is going to be down for before a repair can occur. We'll see, I guess. For now I'm happy with the system despite these complaints.

I worked with 3 different representatives. The lead, Marquis, his assistant Jared, and a female telephone customer service representative. Both reps at my door we're curtious and friendly. Thet did thier best to explain the situation and ensured I felt comfortable and informed. Dealing with the phone rep was about as helpful as screaming at a dumpster fire 🔥. She undermined the reps and insulted me more than once. She actively spent more time ignoring her responsibilities or placing blame on anyone else. She was the worst part of my experience and I hope to never deal with her again. A customer is a customer and if she can't be composed on the phone, she should consider a profession that highlights a different set of her skills.

I was a contractor for 40 plus years and are accustomed to hiring subcontractors. Solar is a tough field. My experience is that there are many sellers that are inexperienced and don't have the necessary training or customer focus. Sunnova did the best in a tough field. Our sales person, Nigel, was personable, responded to questions, followed up and kept all appointments. One other guy said he would not come out until we cut our big maple trees down. I asked another guy for panel specifications and he sent me a picture. I guess he didn't know what specifications are. One or two didn't answer phone calls. They can use Google to look at your house and decide to return your call or not. My advice to them is if you don't show up it is guaranteed you won't get a contract. My advice to you is be sure to meet with Sunnova. We're happy with the work, contract and performance.

Originally, our sales person did a wonderful job of explaining how the system worked as well as the purchasing process and contractual nuances. Once we signed the contract, not only was the process going forward moving very slow, but communication was horrendous. Also, some of the additional perks promised have not been delivered and when we finally got an explanation as to the delay, we were provided with new reasons that had not been explained before. I cannot comment on how well the system works since it’s been active for about two weeks, but we are not impressed with the Customer Service and communication level.

I found some things confusing at 'inspection time'. I receive from my electric co. (PSEG) a letter stating "I" had to arrange for connections; I did not expect this. A call to Trinity resolved this issue. I find issue with the number of companies involved, i.e. Sunnova, Trinity, and a few others like the installers, etc.. These companies seem to be located all over the U.S.A. I'm confused with the meaning of a Email received from Sunnova indicating, in essence, I will receive two (2) "bills" monthly; one from Sunnova (I guess) and another from the utility co. Haven't I signed up for automatic payment to Trinity/Sunnova?? However, I found talking with all persons, Sales Rep. Daygon, Office person, 'Steph', and the installers pleasing , and helpful.

It took way too long from the time the panels were installed until the system was activated. During the installation they removed a cable box from the wall and never replaced it. They left it lie on the ground.

I have 3 more people here that want solar from Trinity, but as the finance company, you're giving them a hard time. I have it here in Perry's Lake, Manahawkin also. Trinity did their job. Now you have to do yours and let the others that want it in this community get it. Our solar just got turned on a week ago. I don't know why the survey already.

Very satisfied with installation and performance so far. Just went on line generating in September. I would like to be able to see solar generation and my power consumption better in the Sunnova app. On my phone. I’m able to see the production with a number and bar graph however I can not see my generation numbers with my consumption and what numbers I bank or not. Maybe I’m not using the application on phone correct?

The installation was seamless and professional. It is too early to tell if we will see any savings on our electric bill. We were told by the sales person that they would have someone trim the oak tree in our back yard to maximize the sunshine on the panels but that has not been scheduled and can’t get anyone to tell me when that will occur spite of my inquiries to the office and to the sales person. I also asked about getting an app to monitor performance but have not received a response. I would appreciate having a designated contact person.

I like the installation. The communication about how to turn it on could have been clearer. I thought it was on until I received a email three week later saying there was no signal. The instructions told us to turn the outside switch to on an flip the breaker box switches, but I believe the breaker box switch may have already been on and when we flip it it turned it off.

The customer service was amazing and responsive. Once the process started I was called and sent texts to confirm understanding. I would have liked to have been provided a realistic time line for the process as a whole before we got started. The whole process took about two months with scheduling, steps required from the power company city inspections etc. But it is turned on now🙂

I was very impressed with the service that Team 1 gave us the first day of the installation, but they were called away on the second day to work somewhere else. The second team had some mishaps and it took them longer to install the solar, as we were told they would take an additional two days, but it took them much longer. I understand nothing is perfect, and things can happen while you are on site. The solar was finally installed, and hopefully we will be able to move forward.

I am still not very agreeable on the location of the panels on the building, due to some trees blocking the sun. The original estimate hadn’t included the trench, then after I signed contract I had to sign another contract for the trench. The trench backfill had a very rocky surface and wasn’t rolled or made flat. Cleanliness while the install crew was there was not exceptional. I am really hoping for results from this system soon.

Being an environmental activist, renewable energy is my way to go and this is where Sunnova comes in. Sunnova has durable and long lasting premium solar batteries. Using Sunnova has really helped me reduce on my electricity utility bills. However the post installation and customer service is abit lacking. Sunnova is however a good solar power service provider.

Macy did a great job of describing the benefits and process of transferring to solar power. She was upfront with the numbers and expectations. It took 2-3 months in total for me to sit down with Macy, the Sunnova representative, and have the panels installed and activated. It's still quite early, as I am still in the first month of activation. However, everything seems smooth to this point.

Your sales people are very professional and thorough. The men who installed the solar panels were very good. The electrician was very nice. My only suggestion for improvement is follow through. I had to make several reminder calls letting you know that Ameren had not come out after everything was installed, and I called to let you know of an error message showing up on your app. I was told wires were crossed and someone would come out to check the wires. Still waiting.

Very little communication from the start. I hope my system is doing what it is supposed to but no analysis from anyone so far. Not sure when my first payment is due and how much to r pect from TECO. Ruben A from Protec said that my deficit balance with Teco because of my levelized payment would be taken care of and he promised a $250 Visa for being a senior and another $250 Visa for being a veteran. I’ve tried to contact him about this but no luck!!

I didn't like the fact that at the time of installation I was charged fifteen hundred dollars for some part that was supposedly not included in my contract. I thought it was bad faith and thought about canceling everything. The person who charged me said he would pay out of his own pocket. I didn't understand what happened and I didn't like it. I also didn't like the fact that one of the installers used my bathroom. He used it and left the toilet all dirty.

We love the solar panels. Set up was great except the guy smoking while up on the roof or on our property. Rest of the guys were awesome. They did not inform PP&L they were ready to start. So we ended up paying another whole month to PP&L which stinks. They did not inform us that there was a problem connecting until we called then all of a sudden we got all these emails about a problem. That’s not ok. Anyone working on the project was very professional and nice but the one smoker. These little things were not ok

From sales to installation to final inspections all was great just can't find any mobile apps so we can view the complete system in use (online) so we could monitor and learn more about solar energy also to be able to know all the functions,production and energy savings. Sometimes it was a little time consuming process if only they could get better apps for homeowners
