The salesman, Patrick, was knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had about solar. The sign up process was easy and we are awaiting installation. What I like most so far is that the company is not pushy when it comes to sales. I had a few other estimates and the sales team was constantly calling or texting me about a decision. Sunrun presented the information and allowed me the time to make my decision.

We were completely mislead by our salesman, Rhett Beckstrand. He outlined a plan where we would pay for one year then receive a $15,000 rebate. He said we could take it in a lump sum or apply it to our balance to keep our payment from increasing. Our plan was to apply the money to the loan. To our surprise, we were informed at tax time it was a tax credit, not a rebate. Our payment will increase significantly in December. I reported this to the company but since I have nothing in writing, they did nothing. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!!

Despite living in a different area of California, the installation took about 8 months, but I was not present during the process. I suggest investing in the battery backup as it proved valuable during a recent evacuation due to a fire. With the backup, the refrigerator stayed on, ensuring everything worked smoothly despite the circumstances.

Despite prompt acknowledgment of my claim, the issue was not fully resolved. This may have been a contractor problem rather than SunRun's. I would rate my experience with this solar company highly, simply because I have never had to call them for any issues. It's been so many years since I first got the solar panels installed, and the process was extremely smooth. They were excellent in their service, causing no interference with my daily routine. The cost savings have been significant, saving us money every month. Overall, I am very satisfied with their services and would highly recommend them to others.

My experience with SunRun has been mostly positive. While there were communication issues initially, the installations went smoothly and the systems have been working flawlessly. The terms and conditions were flexible, and the customer service was excellent. Despite some pandemic and consolidation impacts, I would still choose SunRun as my first choice. Compared to my neighbors' experiences with other companies, I would rate SunRun as A plus.
