The initial solar panel project has been 10+ years with only 1 equipment issue that was diagnosed and corrected as quickly as supply chain could allow. Tech was really professional and kept me informed.
The battery project was even faster, everyone involved was professional, friendly and I was kept informed as to progress of each part of the new battery installation and PTO process.

SunRun is an exceptional company to wirk with. My rirst experience with them was 16 years afo when I purchased solar panels from them . Their service and follow up is great. Those assigned to our project were always on top of each step. We are ferybexcited to.have batteries for back up now. My previous panels srmtill produce atv98%. Never any issues. This company has been around for at least 20 years so that in it's self gives me great confidence they will be here if I need anything

The communication through the whole process was a really excellent. I spoke to a live person often and I like that. They knew me my address my house. The install was very efficient and when I had a question someone answered and followed up.
I pay nothing to PGE about 8 + months a year. The systems works great and I don’t have to do anything!

Everything has gone smooth since my installation. My SCE bill turned into credits instead of charges almost immediately and it's been about 6 years since then. I have enough energy to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer without having to worry about an expensive electric bill. Choosing Sunrun has been one of the best decisions I've made regarding my home. I've also benefitted greatly from their generous referral program.

The whole team was very professional and executed the job exactly as planned. The timeline was much longer than we anticipated due to other companies and individuals not under Sunrun control. In our case a subcontractor was needed to upgrade our main panel, SDG&E needed to approve the change and we needed a city inspector to sign off on the work performed. Sunrun executed with no issues and we passed all requirements to activate our system. Well worth it. Again, the issue was the wait time for others to come, inspect and approve. Be patient, it’s worth the wait.

Sunrun is an example of complete customer service and customization to what was required for my home, and for my friend for his home. I have a mini- house, he had a large home. N both instances, installation, communication and benchmarks were all met.
The utility companies are slower. Sunrun facilitated all permits from our cities and was present when needed. I’d like to recognize Zak M for keeping me informed, getting my account established; Amanda for service excellence as my customer rep. during the installation.

A Sunrun rep rang my doorbell around a year and half ago. I heard their pitch but decided not to pursue it at that time. In mid-February a different rep approached me in Lowes. I was interested to know about more recent developments in solar power so I invited them to my home to talk. The person that came was Dominick Y. He was very pleasant to speak to, explained everything in detail and was able to respond to my technical questions as well. After discussion with my family, we decided to sign up within a week. Dominick helped me with the paperwork that I needed to review and sign. There were no "gotchas" in any of the fine print.
The subsequent process went very smoothly over the next 2.5 months. Someone from Sunrun messaged me frequently with upcoming tasks that were going to happen, even if I didn't have to do anything personally. They took care of all the permits, follow up paperwork, and inspections. There were several people that messaged me over that time but they all acted as one unit with knowledge of what everyone else was doing. I only needed to be home on the actual installation day.
The installation went smoothly as well. Dominick visited once during that day to check on things. They found an unexpected problem: our main electrical breaker was faulty. It was from when the house was built 37 years ago. They finished everything else within the time estimate they gave beforehand, leaving only the things that relied on a functional main breaker. They came back a few days later to replace the breaker (at no charge) and the remaining electrical work, around 30 minutes to complete. Around 2 weeks later, we got final approval flip the switch to connect it to the grid.
I experienced no downsides throughout all of this. From a cost perspective, at worst we might pay the same as not having a solar system on the coldest Winter days, but I doubt that from what I've seen so far. We're already seeing a 50% reduction in electrical cost in month 1. At best, I expect a 75+% reduction during the height of summer in Chicagoland. Right now, 2pm in late Spring, we're generating 9.6 kW of solar power, using 1.6 kW and sending 8 kW back to the grid for future credit. It's a win-win all around.

Sunrun has been and still is the best investment in my home.
During power cuts in the area i had full power. I chose to lease not buy as i know technology is changing all the time- for the better we hope!
Sunrun has always stayed on top of everything to make sure my system is functioning properly and optimally always.
Even though im paying my lease monthly - solar is saving me so much money on electricity! Friends of mine who listened to me got sunrun too and they are completely satisfied also.

I have had Sunrun Solar Panels for several years now, and I could not be happier. I can feel the difference in how cool the house (a two-story house) is during the summer months, but my electric bill has dropped significantly. Pre-Sunrun, my electric bill, due to running the AC, was high. After speaking with a Sales Representative from Sunrun, who answered every question by explaining the process completely and clearly, I was sold. I was most impressed that they did not attempt to sell me more panels than necessary. In addition, during installation, the technicians were non-intrusive, quiet, and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. After installing the solar panels, my home is always comfortable, and I'm surprised that I do not have to run my AC quite as much. Installing solar panels was a game-changer because my utility bill decreased. If you are considering installing solar panels, contact Sunrun first. Everyone from sales, installation, and customer service is available to assist. Honestly, I could not be happier with my decision to install panels with Sunrun.

He wasn’t pushy but was responsive when I needed answers. The teams that did the actual work got it done efficiently and they make sure you are satisfied with how everything is working before they take your money. I loved how Sunrun followed up better than I did on how my system was performing after it was installed!And the online billing makes it easy to see what you are accruing month to month. As I’m sure it is with most new customers, I was a bit apprehensive at first. The unknowns and the inaccurate information from other people did have me a bit worried. My first call to Sunrun changed most of that. They expertly laid out the entire process from installation to how it works with ComEd all the way down to how they make money also. I was rather impressed to say the least because what company gives you that much breakdown. After committing to the contract, we scheduled installation, and within a few weeks I had my first set of solar panels on the roof with no upfront out-of-pocket cost to me which is still hard for me to believe 😂 even after two years. I will admit it did take a bit longer for the panels to show up on my electric bill then I thought, but once the solar showed up on the bill, it completely wiped out my bill minus the delivery charge of $17 which I do pay on a monthly basis. The cool thing is, ComEd just sent me a refund for the entire amount that I sent them throughout the year. After having this system installed, I have now locked in my electricity cost for the next 25 years. I currently pay $135 a month for my system, which is a rather large system and you now know I have no cost with ComEd. We went the entire winter without insane electric costs for the first time ever and I have to say it is a really nice feeling knowing that I’m not gonna have a surprise $400 or $500 bill pop up. I am no longer worried about leaving lights on or fans running or cranking the heat and air-conditioning to the max. All in all I have had an incredibly positive experience throughout the process and would highly recommend having the Sunrun team do your install, you won’t regret it!!!

I got free solar from the state funded GRID program. Sunrun installed the panels and got it up and running. That was a year and a half ago and everything is still working perfectly. I am really enjoying the huge savings on my electric bill. PS- I almost went with a different solar company. I'm so glad I didn't!

The system hasn't given us any issues. It produces power even on cloudy days. Dust and birds occasionally gathering around the panels don't seem to have a negative effect on production. Our only concern is that we planned with our sales agent to have enough power to add a pool and an electric vehicle. We have an above ground pool with a stock filter and no electric vehicle, but we don't have enough power and are still paying an Edison bill every month. Our Edison year-to-date charges are $499. Our Sunrun bill went up from 161 to 165 with annual increments scheduled as well. As of right now, we are projecting to pay $2,479 for power in 2025 assuming the edison bill does not increase. In 2023, before sunrun we paid $1,798.09. There have been increasing charges from Edison. But even then, that's $681 more that we're paying after sunrun. I give it three star because the system is reliable, but I would recommend a deep review of your usage (not with a sales person) before committing to a 10 to 15 year agreement.

They tailored the solar panels and the wattage to what I needed. I've only had one. Maybe two Edison bills and I think that was around Christmas or Halloween because of the lights. But besides that I'm good no Edison bill, just the bill for my panels

We have owned our solar from Sunrun for around 5 years. What a great investment this was! We opted to purchase our solar panels outright, which will add to the value of our home when we sell it later this year. Never have had a single issue, and our monthly energy bill averages around $20. Great company to work with.

We are very pleased with the installtion and operation of our Sunrun solar panel system and battery. The Tesla phone app that lets us see the energy generated by the panels, stored by the battery and used by our home is an outstanding way to track our energy consumption and consider ways to reduce it.

The SunRun company was exceptional , as they kept us updated during the entire process.The installation team was wonderful .All done in one day and they explained and answered all our questions.SunRun scheduled all the permits and appointments with the city and electric company that was needed. Also had a follow up call with information and a phone number to call for any questions that me might have in the future.

The installation was very professional. Great quality installed in one day. The Tesla power wall works great even during power outages. Every house should have Solar with battery backup up! You never know when the power company decides to shut your power off. Will you drive home and add a generator to your home so your food doesn’t spoil? That’s very costly and inefficient.
