Neighbors got solar from SunRun in 2022, so I met with them, too. I liked that you didn’t have to buy it, that it was a fixed payment, and I did well at True-up. (That worked well til this Spring. SDG&E bills were only charging me the minimum on autopay, so I owed a bunch this year at True-up. Shame on them!)

Sunrun found subsidies to help lower my cost on a new roof. And, after a bad storm this year, I am the only person on my side of the block who regained power not long after an outage. My backup solar generator kicked in. My neighbors did not regain power for three days. I was very grateful.

I have worked to conserve energy and water for most of my life. When I was interested in getting solar panels for my house, I learned that I could lease them from Sunrun instead of having to pay for them upfront, a cost I could not afford. Over time, I was very impressed with how little it cost me to cool and heat my house. My only complaint was that I could not find anyone to occasionally clean the panels at a reasonable cost. Fortunately, a layer of dust did not seem to reduce the panels’ performance noticeably. Leasing was a good option at the time.

We chose Sunrun to design and install a solar electric system for our home in AZ. They installed it in 2017 and it has generated over 140Mwh during the past nine years. This has resulted in average electric bills around $35 a month, which is great. But we have also had meter issues in four of the nine years during the summer months that have degraded system performance which has not been good. Overall, 4 stars for Sunrun. They are not perfect, but they are sure a lot better than other solar companies that have gone out of business or not maintained the equipment. Good job, Sunrun!

Pia is great to work with. She’s easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and does a really good job explaining things in a way that actually makes sense. Solar can feel overwhelming at first, especially with all the different options, numbers, and long-term savings to consider, but Pia makes the process feel much more approachable. What I appreciate most is that she doesn’t come across as pushy. She takes the time to listen, answer questions directly, and explain the pros and cons in a practical way. You can tell she actually cares about helping people understand whether solar makes sense for their home, not just trying to make a sale. Her communication is also strong. She follows up, keeps things clear, and makes sure you know what to expect along the way. The key reason we began working with Sunrun is because of Dimitar. My wife, Joanne, and I have been interested in the solar power concept for several years primarily to help save the planet and secondarily to avoid power outages in our home when the power company shut down the grid during emergencies. We were approached by several Sunrun representatives over the years but when I met Dimitar I felt that he had a deeper understanding of the solar concept and how Sunrun could benefit us in our Oakmont home. I worked with Sunrun because of only one person. That person was Bill Irons. I tried talking to Sunrun’s call center and help line. Zero answers! Zero callbacks! Zero helpful responses! Bill Irons dug into why Sunrun didn’t think our credit was any good (which was totally false) and got to the bottom of the issue. He alone got us approved! Sunrun would not have our business had it not been for the extreme effort he put in on our behalf! Extra legwork, extra phone calls, Extra digging into other companies websites. Calls to Edison, calls to Tesla, calls to his own company to ferret out answers that got us to the goal post!! I cannot recommend him on to any higher degree!! Work with Bill! He’ll get answers!! He’ll get results

I had looked into solar previously and even talked to Sunrun, but felt they everyone was pushy and there were so many shady practices happening in the industry. I knew I wanted solar though for environmental reasons and cost savings. Especially with how much energy bills have risen lately, it made too much sense to pass up. I got quotes from a number of companies and ultimately chose Sunrun because I trust it will be around in the long run, and because the price was unbeatable. And I'm very happy I did. Sunrun's team did a fantastic job on the install and it's already saving me money on day one.

Their customer care and service teams are superb. Why not go solar? While public utility companies continue to ever-increase energy rates, solar energy is the answer to saving money and helping the environment. Why not go Sunrun? I had a great experience with Sunrun for 10 years. As a returning customer, I recommend Sunrun. It's worth at least giving them a chance to win you over. You literally have nothing to lose.

PG&E was killing us. Sunrun gave us the opportunity to get away from PG&E 's high rate with no out-of-pocket expense at a lower kilowatt rate. We have over 20 panels and 2 Tesla power walls. It cut our monthly electric bill by around 40%. Again, this came at no money out-of-pocket. The subscription plan really works. We're extremely happy that we made the switch.

For sometime I have been interested in getting solar panels to safe money in energy bills given the soaring increase of energy costs that exist with Pepco. The other reason is a good friend of mine recommended Sunrun after he decided to go with their Solar panels which was a result of his receiving positive reviews from someone else who he was acquainted with who chose to go with Sunrun's solar panels. Now I would like to know how soon the switch will take place going directly from Pepco to utilizing the panels?

Sunrun and having solar has been a god sent. I have an aging AC unit and my bill during the hot summer days will shoot up. Now that I have solar, I barely have to pay Edison above the mandatory connection charges. Sunrun also made the process easy and simple. Jeff was so patient with our concerns and walked us throughout the process. Techs were very courteous and very careful of property. I highly recommend going with Sunrun and solar in general. Sunrun's customer service, support, and attention to their customers is above all else.

David has been awesome! Every question I had, he had an honest answer for. Not many people will let you know if they cannot properly service your needs and that is one thing David and the rest of the team promised me. I have to admit, I am extremely happy with the outcome. I had 24 solar panels on my roof from another company that were under performing. I met Kase (I hope I spelled that right) in Lowes, then I met David, another gentleman, and Christine (My mom's name) and the team has been super busy making sure we were taken care of. Two homes and many years later, this was the 3rd time I spoke to a Representative and completed an appraisal. I knew it would happen someday, but the offset needed to be just right. Each rep that I worked with over the years was very knowledgeable and patient. There was never any pressure to commit and they went above and beyond to answer my questions and provide a peace of mind. Since then, the SunRun crew were quick, efficient and willing to hear feedback if you had a question or concern. This is your home after all. The panels are finally running and I'm doing my best to share the great experience we had.

If anyone is skeptical about doing this, like I was, please talk to Thiago, and his team, they made it so simple & kept us informed every step of the way, it was the best thing we have done, I haven’t seen a Eversourse bill in months and we actually just got a battery installed in case of power outage we will have power with the new Tesla battery, peace of mind(especially with the winter we just endured)..also you my as well get the solar now, before it’s mandatory and you will have to pay out of pocket, mine was free during the promotion,, they upgraded our electric panel and removed some trees and even added a couple plugs to my husbands work shop area, just because they noticed my husband was using extension cords in that part of the basement.. free of charge!! He was so happy about that… Sunrun is the best solar company and I highly recommend them for all your solar NEEDS!Sunrun was informative & professional throughout the entire process… plus it feels really good knowing we’re doing our part for the environment 🎊🎉☀️

I used Sunrun, as it was being advertised at my local Costco. I know Costco vets its partners because of the volume of customers it services. They came out to design how many panels and where to put them on the roof, gave me an estimate and I thought it was a great offer. They came and installed it. I had to call PGE to have them do their inspection and then they had to connect my panels to their system. I also purchased a battery because when the sun goes down, I still have solar power. On Nextdoor, people will state no electricity, however at my home, No Worries. It is a fantastic investment and my electric bills are great. I do have a true up, but in a year’s worth of electricity, it is not in the $$$. I would recommend Sunrun for solar power.

Exceptional customer service and products. Mr. Khelin John Y. took his time laying out all options, providing pros and cons of each choice, guiding us steps and what to expect. We are very impressed by his knowledge and his eagerness to provide only the best for his clients. We are so lucky that somehow our case was assigned to Mr. Young ( We didn't know him. We just went Sunrun website to make consultation appointment. We did the same to other solar companies). Sunrun team are the best. Installation crews are fast and flawless.
