My experience with Sunrun has been outstanding. Their service is complete and dependable, especially when the City of Long Beach arranges for maintenance black outs. Our Sunrun battery kicks in during these periods and produces lighting in our home. Sunrun also performs periodic checkups making sure our system is performing well. We are happy with Sunrun!

Anthony, who was the one who came to explain solar to me, really was great. I felt he wasn’t there just as a salesman but he truly cared. That was three years ago and I’ve never been happier to have solar from Sunrun. They are very responsive and great customer service, which I’ve only needed once in the 3 1/2 years. You won’t be sorry to go with Sunrun. My electric bill in the summer using the AC, about $14 or less.

Bennett is a great guy — my wife and I absolutely love him! We came into this process with concerns because of all the negative things we’d heard about solar over the years. Bennett completely changed that experience for us.
He explained the new program in simple terms that actually made sense and helped us make the best decision for our home. We were worried about utility rate hikes and power outages, and he showed us exactly how this program solves both. Our biggest fear was having a lien on the home or running into issues when selling, but after going through the agreement and even talking with our realtor, we learned that none of those concerns apply with this program.
I never leave reviews, but Bennett genuinely deserves this one. You can tell he cares deeply about helping people and he’s delivered on everything he promised. I only do business with people I trust — and I trust Bennett. We’ve already referred him to two of our family members, and they’re thrilled as well.

We found Sunrun to be very professional. There was no high pressure tactics to acquire their service.
Each step of the process was explained in detail. Each step was taken as explained.
All questions asked were answered to our satisfaction with our understanding.
They were able to install in one day. They have stayed in touch after the whole process was completed.
Each team from sales, to panel installers, and electricians were professional, courteous, and kept us informed throughout their part of the process.
We have had the unit for six weeks and everything is operating as promised.
I would recommend this company to anyone who asks.

I had talked to a few different solar companies before, but Wallace from Sunrun was by far the most genuine and knowledgeable person I spoke with. He didn’t try to pressure me or rush me into anything, he actually took the time to explain how everything works, what my options were, and helped me figure out what made the most sense for my home.
He answered all my questions (and there were a lot!) with patience and honesty. The whole process went exactly how he said it would, and now my system is up and running perfectly. I’ve already referred a couple of friends to him because it’s rare to find someone in sales who actually cares about educating first and selling second. Highly recommend working with Wallace if you’re even just thinking about solar.

The SunRun company was exceptional , as they kept us updated during the entire process.The installation team was wonderful .All done in one day and they explained and answered all our questions.SunRun scheduled all the permits and appointments with the city and electric company that was needed. The installation was very professional. Great quality installed in one day. The Tesla power wall works great even during power outages. Every house should have Solar with battery backup up! You never know when the power company decides to shut your power off. Will you drive home and add a generator to your home so your food doesn’t spoil? That’s very costly and inefficient. Go with Sunrun today!

Their installation was done professionally and their skilled team has done so many solar installations that I had complete confidence in their methods and quality of work. After pondering the cost of installing solar panels I decided it would take years to for me to ever realize any offset on my energy bills. My amazing representative, Devan W, showed me how I could have the solar panels installed without it costing anything to me out of my pocket. The technicians were very professional and fast. They totally cleaned up after themselves only evidence they left of their installation were the solar panels. I highly recommend Devan W to take care of all your solar questions and concerns. There are no words to tell you how much Devan helped me.

For the most part, Sunrun did a great job, it seemed there were a lot of people/moving parts to this, so although there were some hiccups, they were taken care of promptly after communicating the issue. Some things I wasn't so pleased about - receiving the panels at 6am without warning (never received a call or text to let me know) therefore being woken up randomly and having to step out in my pjs to let them know I had communicated the week prior and needed to reschedule, hearing "this is my first time doing this" from one of the installers and then finding a bar left behind on the roof (lucky it didn't roll down on its own), and random miscommunication here and there. Again, I understand there were a lot of steps to this, so for the most part, I can say I'm very satisfied with the work, just hope the company can use this feedback to work on the back-and-forth a bit better.
Disclaimer - haven't had a chance to actually test out the system yet, this is all just pertaining to the period of time between the signing of the contract to the power on stage.

I was referred to Sunrun by a friend trough Costco friend , and am very satisfied with my solar panels I was paying 225.00 dollars a month for my electricity bills, after Sunrun installed my system of solar panels I only pay 88.00 dollars a month , and I got upgraded my electricity box and got professional installation of solar panels and paid 0 cents for that so I save en electricity 50% and got upgrades on my house , I am extremely satisfied with my savings and I keep my AC on during summer time day and nite before solar panels I only turn my AC only at nite.

I have had only 2 issues with my system over the last 3 1/2 years and neither issue affected production. Someone is always asking how they work They are under the impression they do not work when it is cloudy Tell the men/women to explain this when they are out selling them They also think the monthly payments are too high They don’t stop and think even with the payments they are still paying less I love my panels!!!!

I had them over 5 years and they’re an amazing company. Had an issue with my electrical wiring and the agent helped out a lot!!!! Instead of having to pay 5k for upgrading my electrical wiring the agent and their team made it to where I paid only $750. My system has a battery and I can share that when electricity went out on my block due to the snowstorm I was the only one with lights up and running

My experience with Sunrun has been overall very positive. Sales staff was attentive and went into great detail about the system I was getting and potential savings. The energy generated over the 2 years I've had the system has been higher than projected. My Coned electrical bill has been $18-20 USD since Jan 2022 and my home is still running on credit kWh from the first year. Even with the Sunrun bill, I'm still saving a good $2,000 per year in electricity. Support has been good, too.

Would I get solar again? Yes! The only thing is, I wish we got it sooner. The process was so easy from the time of signing the contract to installation. We were so happy with it, we decided to get Solar Batteries a year after our install. We have had SunRun for about 2 years now. From the initial consultation until now we have been extremely happy. Everything was explained clearly and installation was easy. Even when we had a recent issue with a panel they came out quickly and replaced the panel. The app is easy to use to track usage and it’s been amazing when the neighborhood is experiencing an outage we still have our lights on thanks to the backup battery!

Dan went above and beyond to get my panels installed. At one point the electric company wanted me to pay for a transformer which was about $8,000 otherwise I would not be able to get the amount of panels I needed. But after talking with Dan and coming up with some ideas we were able to get all the panels needed installed without having to purchase a transformer. If you’re going to get solar go with SunRun

They even reimbursed me for relocated my pool heater because it is too close to the panel.
My solar panels work well, they produce more than expected on the good day.

I have had my SunRun solar system since 2018. I leased my panels. Went through 2 inverters in 2018 and 2020. The inverters were replaced. In the early years, SunRun was rapidly expanding and, in my opinion, definitely had room to improve in the customer service area. I’m happy to say that I would now recommend their company. Everyone should have a second chance. SunRun has now become a top notch solar company.

Sunrun made the idea of solar panels obtainable. When first considering solar panels, I was intimidated by tax rebates, special forms, installation fees etc Sunrun takes all of that fuss out of the equation. I paid ZERO out of pocket money for a full assessment to find the perfect layout to maximize output and ZERO $ for installation. I've had no problems since install July '23 and am looking forward to years of solar energy.

Going solar with SunRun has been a game changer for my family and our home. Our rep Eva made it so easy and got us set up in record time. Our electric bill is basically $0. The backup battery has successfully powered our home through dozens of power outages. We got an EV and a home charger, this has helped to dramatically reduce our fuel consumption and save a few hundred dollars a month thanks to the solar array.
There is room for improvement on Sunrun’s customer support side. If they can address this, they will go from great, to a truly exceptional enterprise.

The options for install were clearly delineated. I was made aware of all possible contingencies.
In the end, I can honestly say that it brings me great joy to produce my own electricity and be free from cost increases associated with most power companies…
In the winter I do have pay in a bit, but paying $0.00 for electricity for 8 months of the year is awesome.

I love my SunRun solar panels. There was no upfront cost. I simply pay SunRun instead of paying my regular bill to Xcel. This was a no increase in cost deal that is getting better as electricity prices increase. The SunRun website keeps track of my system and SunRun is responsible for any hail damage or other problems with the system. I have bought three sunrun systems for my home and investment properties. I have an electric car which is now primarily powered by sunshine. how cool is that? I would advise any homeowner in an area with sun to get a sunrun system.

Sunrun staff were very educational regarding all the options for our battery installation on our Sunrun panels. We chose to go through Sunrun itself rather than a large box store as Sunrun was willing to install a battery rather than two batteries and additional panels. The installation crew arrived early and completed the job in one day. They were very thorough and worked hard on a very hot day.

I’ve had solar through Sunrun for a few years now and it has been a great decision. My total cost for electric is certainly lower than it was, and that’s the main reason I went solar. Pricing options are plentiful and sized to your electric needs. My salesman, Ben F was SUPER low pressure and very knowledgeable and helped me through the process.

When John T came to explain about Sunrun solar, he took the time to explain everything. When I didn't understand, he explained again. Never rushed us. Was polite and thorough. Made sure all bases were covered. Gave me enough panels so I didn't have to worry about paying electric. Since e I have owned my solar, our house stays so much cooler. Air conditioning runs less. It's efficient and I'm not ruining the environment. As far as I can say, Sunrun is the best. John really knew what he was talking about. Thank you so much. Beverly

Customer service helped me to figure out why I wasn't getting a savings. I followed their directions and I contacted my energy company since then I've worked with them to correct everything and my solar panels are working great my bills have gone from $400 a month down to 100. I am still working to make them even lower. But what a savings. Thank you to the service people for helping me figure out what was wrong. I am now receiving a substantial savings. I've recommended you over and over again to many people. Overall I am extremely happy with my solar energy.

Our customer rep, Tom, was a very knowledgeable and personable guy who was thorough and patient when explaining the program to us. The technicians who installed the system were friendly and worked quickly. The output of the system and the savings that Tom told us we could expect were spot-on. So far, there have been no issues to correct with the system and customer support is always there if we need it.

Robert took the time to not only listen to our needs, but also to ask the probing questions regarding future plans in order to determine what would be the best fit for us. We were initially on the fence regarding the Tesla back up battery and I am glad we moved forward with it. In the past year we have had at least four power outages. With the first one we didn't even realize it until a neighbor said something to us. Yes it kicked in that smoothly, like a small blip of a power surge. We have already recommended Sunrun to friends

Kate has helped make determination which of the Sunrun programs were the best form my situation. She also helped me through a couple of hurdles. Her knowledge and expertise in her field made my purchase of solar system a complete success. I install Sunrun's panels on 4 of my rentals and and turned on a couple of my friends. Sunrun has the best programs. They save me and my tenants money and we all are part of the bigger picture, being part of the solution to fight climet change. Thank you Kate.

My solar power is optimized by Sunrun. The installation was great and I’m renting the solar system, so any maintenance issues are taken care of by Sunrun. I’m getting credit for power from my solar panels. The costs are much lower over the past year and a half. I took time to hear about Sunrun and review my options, and it’s been a great expo for me and my property.
