Program basically leases customers the equipment so zero upfront materials cost. Installation was rapid and quite thorough. Sunrun monitors the system and sends support for any issue. Sunrun has been great and I’ve recommended them to many people. Definitely get the battery option. There was a neighborhood black out and I didn’t notice except for an initial flickering light. Go solar!

Sunrun has kept true to every thing they said. Devan V has been exceptional and on top of every obstacle to remove it. The whole organization so far has been 100% perfect. If your thinking of going Solar,call Surun ask for Devan, you will be very satisfied with the exceptional service provided from Devan and Sunruns staff. I will be saving over 700.oo dollars a month on electricity cost. Don't know why I waited so long..

From sales to installation to performance of the equipment I give it top notch review.
Sales presentation covered what to expect, to what is on the horizon on PG&E increasing billing.
Installation was on time covered every step of the upgrade and walked me through the program that monitors the performance of the equipment.
The equipment has been operating without issue. And from my understanding I am now working mainly off the battery system with little to no purchase off the grid.

They all were very professional and respectful at all times, I can tell they are very well trined and they seams to be happy to work for Sunrun, the safety is very high and professional without interfering with my personal life and they hardly ever disturb you from your daily activities, so you can still work from home or do what ever you want, overall a 10 out of 10 company 👍🏻

Tony was my sales rep and he made the entire process simple and smooth. He answered all the questions I had and gave me answers to things I didn’t even think to ask. Sunrun took care of everything from permits to cleanup and inspection and took care of everything with ComEd. I didn’t have to do anything. Getting solar installed has been a fantastic decision and cut my summer bills in half. I’m very happy with the decision.

I had a positive experience with the installation; it was completed in a day and the yard was cleaned up nicely. However, there was a delay with the utility hookup that I couldn't figure out. The system has been trouble-free since then, but I did notice my last bill was higher than expected. Overall, I'm happy with the system and how cool my house is!

I had a positive experience with the installation, although there were minor concerns about shrubbery protection during roof cleaning. They handled the water cleanup promptly. I recently had an inspection and installation for my solar system, and the process was seamless. The inspection was quick, and I received updates throughout each step. In home sales was easy. System installation was quick and professional. System was sized correctly with a couple extra panels for insurance. I pay PG&E "0" dollars during early Spring, Summer, and late Fall months. Very small payments for 3-4 months of Winter for natural gas. 10$ for electricity for those months. Over sizing the system I get credited on my natural gas. My true up fees are "0" $ Completely happy with the system.

The initial customer service person indicated that she would be available to guide us through the process on an ongoing basis. This was not the case. Her availability ended after installation and set up. When I had questions about how to proceed to qualify and apply for SRECs, and federal and state rebates, she took a "not my job" attitude. This left us to call customer service reps for help on how to proceed. It took many months, after several calls, to finally get someone to assist us. Since then, the customer service reps and the few needed customer service calls have been addressed very well. The Sunrun product itself is working as expected and we are very satisfied.

I had SunRun install a PPA system over for years ago. Since then there have been no issues and the system has saved me a lot of money. It’s relieving knowing I can run my AC in summer without incurring any of the utility peak usage. The one time I had questions and had to reach out they were also prudent and answered my questions without having to escalate even though they were technical.

Ryan was great. As someone who had been burned by a solar company that went out of business just a year into my 25-year warranty, I was very distrustful of signing another contract. But Ryan took a lot of time with me, broke things down clearly, laying out all the financial details in a way that made sense. And while he was doing so, I never felt pressured to commit.

From the very beginning of having solar put on our house it was a great experience. Paul the sales rep was awesome, very helpful and pleasant to work with. The installation team was great. Quick at what they do and left everything clean and tidy.
The only negative I have to say, I was told had to be paid off before system could be turned on(was paying in full) then it took Excel Energy almost 8 months to turn it on. Sunrun is a great company to work with.

What I like most so far is that the company is not pushy when it comes to sales. I had a few other estimates and the sales team was constantly calling or texting me about a decision. I suggest investing in the battery backup as it proved valuable during a recent evacuation due to a fire. I appreciated the drone inspection of our house for panel placement. Adding more panels saved us money, as our previous setup wasn't sufficient. I reached out to Sunrun a few months ago to inquire about adding a battery to my solar system. Unfortunately, I never received a response. This lack of communication was disappointing, especially considering the positive experience I had when initially setting up my solar panels. I would rate my experience with SunRun a 4 out of 5. Unfortunately, I had a leak in my roof that took multiple repairs to fix, and now I'm facing another leak. Despite prompt acknowledgment of my claim, the issue was not fully resolved. This may have been a contractor problem rather than SunRun's. The system itself has been running well for 7 years with no issues.

I would rate my experience with this solar company highly, simply because I have never had to call them for any issues. I recently had a solar panel system installed and overall, I've had a positive experience. The only issue I encountered was with the Internet connection, which was quickly resolved once they identified a connector problem on the roof. Since then, the system has been working perfectly. I regularly check to ensure everything is functioning well. Despite a minor hiccup initially, I'm satisfied with the performance of the solar panels.

The installation process was good, but there seems to be a lack of communication between different departments. My system was attempted to be upgraded twice, wasting my time, only to find out it wasn't feasible. Despite this, I keep receiving calls to try again, showing a lack of record-keeping and communication within the company. It's frustrating to deal with repeated attempts that lead nowhere.
