I love everything about the Sunrun company. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. My favorite part of the system the storage battery. If we have a power outage the system automatically switches to the battery and it I don’t notice the switch sometimes.

A thorough assessment was made of the site orientation to determine whether sun exposure would be optimal for placement of solar panels. Best placement on the roof was based on this careful analysis. I liked how scientific it was. The team was so knowledgeable, well trained in installation techniques, and efficient.

The system hasn't given us any issues. It produces power even on cloudy days. Dust and birds occasionally gathering around the panels don't seem to have a negative effect on production. Our only concern is that we planned with our sales agent to have enough power to add a pool and an electric vehicle. We have an above ground pool with a stock filter and no electric vehicle, but we don't have enough power and are still paying an Edison bill every month. Our Edison year-to-date charges are $499. Our Sunrun bill went up from 161 to 165 with annual increments scheduled as well. As of right now, we are projecting to pay $2,479 for power in 2025 assuming the edison bill does not increase. In 2023, before sunrun we paid $1,798.09. There have been increasing charges from Edison. But even then, that's $681 more that we're paying after sunrun. I give it three star because the system is reliable, but I would recommend a deep review of your usage (not with a sales person) before committing to a 10 to 15 year agreement.

They tailored the solar panels and the wattage to what I needed. I've only had one. Maybe two Edison bills and I think that was around Christmas or Halloween because of the lights. But besides that I'm good no Edison bill, just the bill for my panels

Brian came to our house in North Andover 6 years ago, and I am so glad he did. Door-to-door sales can sometimes feel aggressive, but Brian was the exact opposite. He walked us through the entire solar process without any pressure and made everything incredibly easy to understand. Now that we are six years in, I can honestly say the system has been flawless. We haven't had to do a single thing for maintenance and have had zero issues. The best part? We typically only receive one small bill from National Grid in February; the rest of the year is covered. If you are looking for someone honest to help you with solar, I highly recommend Brian.

Bennett is a great guy — my wife and I absolutely love him! We came into this process with concerns because of all the negative things we’d heard about solar over the years. Bennett completely changed that experience for us. He explained the new program in simple terms that actually made sense and helped us make the best decision for our home. We were worried about utility rate hikes and power outages, and he showed us exactly how this program solves both. Our biggest fear was having a lien on the home or running into issues when selling, but after going through the agreement and even talking with our realtor, we learned that none of those concerns apply with this program. I never leave reviews, but Bennett genuinely deserves this one. You can tell he cares deeply about helping people and he’s delivered on everything he promised. We found Sunrun to be very professional. There was no high pressure tactics to acquire their service. Each step of the process was explained in detail. Each step was taken as explained. All questions asked were answered to our satisfaction with our understanding. They were able to install in one day. They have stayed in touch after the whole process was completed. Each team from sales, to panel installers, and electricians were professional, courteous, and kept us informed throughout their part of the process. We have had the unit for six weeks and everything is operating as promised. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks.

I had talked to a few different solar companies before, but Wallace from Sunrun was by far the most genuine and knowledgeable person I spoke with. He didn’t try to pressure me or rush me into anything, he actually took the time to explain how everything works, what my options were, and helped me figure out what made the most sense for my home. He answered all my questions (and there were a lot!) with patience and honesty. The whole process went exactly how he said it would, and now my system is up and running perfectly. I’ve already referred a couple of friends to him because it’s rare to find someone in sales who actually cares about educating first and selling second. The whole team was very professional and executed the job exactly as planned. The timeline was much longer than we anticipated due to other companies and individuals not under Sunrun control. In our case a subcontractor was needed to upgrade our main panel, SDG&E needed to approve the change and we needed a city inspector to sign off on the work performed. Sunrun executed with no issues and we passed all requirements to activate our system. Well worth it. Again, the issue was the wait time for others to come, inspect and approve. Be patient, it’s worth the wait.

N both instances, installation, communication and benchmarks were all met. The utility companies are slower. Sunrun facilitated all permits from our cities and was present when needed. The installation was very professional. Great quality installed in one day. The Tesla power wall works great even during power outages. Every house should have Solar with battery backup up! You never know when the power company decides to shut your power off. Will you drive home and add a generator to your home so your food doesn’t spoil? That’s very costly and inefficient. After pondering the cost of installing solar panels I decided it would take years to for me to ever realize any offset on my energy bills. My amazing representative, Devan W, showed me how I could have the solar panels installed without it costing anything to me out of my pocket. The technicians were very professional and fast. They totally cleaned up after themselves only evidence they left of their installation were the solar panels. I highly recommend Devan W to take care of all your solar questions and concerns. There are no words to tell you how much Devan helped me.

For the most part, Sunrun did a great job, it seemed there were a lot of people/moving parts to this, so although there were some hiccups, they were taken care of promptly after communicating the issue. Some things I wasn't so pleased about - receiving the panels at 6am without warning (never received a call or text to let me know) therefore being woken up randomly and having to step out in my pjs to let them know I had communicated the week prior and needed to reschedule, hearing "this is my first time doing this" from one of the installers and then finding a bar left behind on the roof (lucky it didn't roll down on its own), and random miscommunication here and there. Again, I understand there were a lot of steps to this, so for the most part, I can say I'm very satisfied with the work, just hope the company can use this feedback to work on the back-and-forth a bit better. Disclaimer - haven't had a chance to actually test out the system yet, this is all just pertaining to the period of time between the signing of the contract to the power on stage.

I chose to go with Sunrun because of Khelin expertise in the industry. I’ve talked to multiple companies including So Cal Edison, and nobody was able to explain to me my electric bill, and why my current solar situation wasn’t working. Khelin was able to explain everything in great detail that was super easy to understand how I was being ripped off by Edison. He wasn’t pushy but was responsive when I needed answers. The teams that did the actual work got it done efficiently and they make sure you are satisfied with how everything is working before they take your money. I loved how Sunrun followed up better than I did on how my system was performing after it was installed!And the online billing makes it easy to see what you are accruing month to month. Very happy with Sunrun overall.

As I’m sure it is with most new customers, I was a bit apprehensive at first. The unknowns and the inaccurate information from other people did have me a bit worried. My first call to Sunrun changed most of that. They expertly laid out the entire process from installation to how it works with ComEd all the way down to how they make money also. I was rather impressed to say the least because what company gives you that much breakdown. After committing to the contract, we scheduled installation, and within a few weeks I had my first set of solar panels on the roof with no upfront out-of-pocket cost to me which is still hard for me to believe 😂 even after two years. I will admit it did take a bit longer for the panels to show up on my electric bill then I thought, but once the solar showed up on the bill, it completely wiped out my bill minus the delivery charge of $17 which I do pay on a monthly basis. The cool thing is, ComEd just sent me a refund for the entire amount that I sent them throughout the year. After having this system installed, I have now locked in my electricity cost for the next 25 years. I currently pay $135 a month for my system, which is a rather large system and you now know I have no cost with ComEd. We went the entire winter without insane electric costs for the first time ever and I have to say it is a really nice feeling knowing that I’m not gonna have a surprise $400 or $500 bill pop up. I am no longer worried about leaving lights on or fans running or cranking the heat and air-conditioning to the max. All in all I have had an incredibly positive experience throughout the process and would highly recommend having the Sunrun team do your install, you won’t regret it!!!

It’s been four years since I first had my solar panels and whole house batteries installed by SunRun. It’s been a great experience and there have been no problems along the way. Clearly, we’ve had power outages, but we never knew about them until our utility called us to inform us that power has been restored. We never knew that there had been an outage. The company monitors our system 24/7 and we feel safe and secure knowing that we are contributing to the health of our planet, saving energy and are protected from power outages. I did a great deal of research before selecting SunRun and have never regretted my choice. I recommend them to anyone considering solar energy.

I was curious about installing solar panels in the past, but after February of 2021 when most of Texas lost power for two weeks in that freak winter storm , I knew it was time for a change. It was not a question of IF I would lose power again but WHEN. NOE four years later the panels are a blessing that keeps paying. I lost count of how many times in four years we have lost power from a few minutes to several hours..... EXCEPT ME! MY battery back immediately kicks in and goes offline automatically when power is restored. At one point I was battery backup for two days straight. The great thing about the panels is that once the sun cones out my battery recharges and my usage is FREE!!!. I will not even mention that the hottest part of summer my bill went from $300.00 a month to $32.00 a month. In the winter when solar power is at a minimum, my all electric hone went from $375.00 a month to under $100.00. The cherry 🍒 on top happened when my panels cover half of my roof and insulate my house from the heat plus very little wear and tear on my shingles since the panels cover them.

Sunrun did an amazing job installing my solar panels, and having them has cut down on my LADWP bills. I wish I would have gotten the battery since a lot of my power usage is at night (and I have no way to store the energy so as to use it at night). But that’s not Sunrun’s fault. It’s mine. Sunrun is pretty good about following up with me to make sure everything is running efficiently, though they haven’t sent a representative to the house in person. Still, if anything seems to be out of whack, I’m confident they would be responsive to any requests for service. Fortunately, their panels are so good that I haven’t had any service needs yet. I’m happy with Sunrun.

The dynamic between sales and purchasing,, buyer/seller... Is best met when both parties compromise... I felt Vinny was very even-handed and I felt comfortable with him. The other part of the equation is servicing and customer response... The install crew was fantastic ,well coordinated A couple of weeks after the install we had a real heavy rain in this area and a leak was spotted in the attic... Contacted customer service and they got a crew out there to repair it in 2 days I was very pleased The repair crew was as professional as the install crew So far quite happy with SunRun That following question 'are you or have you ever been a paying customer of sunrun'Don't really understand the question I do make a automatic monthly payment to sunrun that covers the financing of my solar project... So I'll answer yes

I had Sunrun install my panels about ten years ago & I have never regretted it. My power bill dropped to under $100 per month, usually under $50, from approximately $300/month. I am now retired and ithe money saved on power is very significant. Sunrun monitors my system & I rarely have to think about it. There was one time early on that Sunrun had to come to my home to "fix" something and have never had to send anyone back since. The money I have saved on electricity since installing Sunrun panels is impressive and the cost to Sunrun for the panels, installation & monitoring for 20 years is so much less each month than I was previously paying the electric car for for a company. I must admit I was a little skeptical about the benefits of going solar, Mason M did his best to explain everything, more than once, so I decided to give it a go, I am so glad I did, having solar for several months now it has proven reliable and stable. With the recent windstorms and fires my neighbors have been without power for the last 18 hrs so far and it is still out, but I have the only power for six blocks on my street. My 3d printer didn’t even get interrupted and is still printing a part I started 24hrs ago. The installation was also painless done in one day, Thanks Sunrun and Mason M

I couldn’t be happier with the service. From install to 4yrs later. My monthly electric bill comes in with negative amounts which I used as credits in the winter when we don’t collect as much sun. The 25yr full warranty assures me if any damages I can have it fixed or fully replaced, gives me piece of mind. The monthly payment depends on how many panels you get, depending on how much your yearly electric bill shows it needs. My 14 panels acquires a $95 per month flat rate, locked in electric charge. This was such a huge savings especially after 2020 when rates went up almost double. I couldn’t be happier with this decision.
