I have wanted to go Solar for more than 20 years. Last October, I researched again and found Sun Solar at the top of the links listings: #1
I called and Amanda Edge answered. I am making a movie and deal with a lot of different people by phone 7 days a week. As Amanda and I started talking, I realize Immediately that I was talking with a VERY smart person. She answered my questions before I had a chance to ask them, and I told Amanda that.

Khelin Young has been a joy to work with. He showed up on time and was very professional. Khelin was very thorough in explaining about Sunrun; how solar and battery works; how much money I can save compared to staying with SCE; the products; and installation process. When the project was completed, he also came out to show me how to use the Sunrun and Tesla battery app. Khelin did everything he said he was going to do for me. I would highly recommend him to everyone who wants the same amazing experience I had.

We are happy with the results of having solar and feel Sunrun is proactive in supplying system data, billing is clear, and equipment issues have been resolved in a reasonable about of time.
I gave 4/5 stars as I would like to see Sunrun offer existing customers access to new solar plans as they come available.
Regarding Brian-
We’ve worked with Brian since 2019 as his first North Andover customer, and his dedication has been exceptional from the start. He took the time to answer our many questions, supported us through complicated billing issues during the pandemic, and—six years later—still picks up the phone when we need help. Choosing Brian means choosing someone who truly stands behind his work with trust, integrity, and ongoing support.

We added an additional solar system with backup batteries starting in late 2024, and there was back and forth with the City of Pomona during the process. Austin Monte gave us real peace of mind throughout and stayed on top of everything to make sure the project was completed successfully. Trenching work was needed, and Austin helped out greatly with the cost, which we truly appreciated. The system is finally up and running, and we’re excited for the peace of mind from the backup batteries and protection from Edison’s increasing rates. Thank you, Austin, for not leaving us hanging!

She took her time and went over ALL the inside info on how to use the Tesla Ap and what information I needed to do to keep from higher costs.
She's not only very knowledgeable but she's very personable as well. Well done Karina!!

I ended up going solar thanks to Anna P. I hesitated for months because I did my research and a lot of solar customers were not happy about it.
Anna reached out to me and answered all of my questions ( I had a LOT of questions).
She took the time to explain how it works, the benefits and how this would work for the years to come.
I was able to learn as much as I could about the process.
My system was activated on December 2025. At this moment everything is working fine. Im just waiting for summer time and hoping that there will be no issues with the use of the ACs.

Working with Austin M. a great experience from start to finish. He took the time to fully understand my home's energy needs and explain my options clearly and honestly. Since I already had a Sunrun system in place, it was important to me that any upgrades were done thoughtfully and efficiently.
My energy usage has increased over time, and Austin did an excellent job calculating the additional kWh production needed to support both my current usage and future plans. We've also been dealing with more power outages, and adding the two Tesla backup batteries has brought my family and me real peace of mind. Knowing we have reliable backup power has been a game changer.

I was against solar for many years and honestly very skeptical of the whole process. Austin M. stayed consistent with his follow-ups and, more importantly, took the time to truly educate me instead of pressure me. He broke everything down clearly—how the solar program works, the long-term benefits, and how adding backup batteries would protect my home and give me real energy independence.
After paying Southern California Edison an average of $600 per month, I finally pulled the trigger, and separating myself from Edison has been a huge relief. The peace of mind alone makes it worth it. Austin was professional, patient, and knowledgeable from start to finish, and I’m grateful he didn’t give up on me when I initially said no. Highly recommend Austin to anyone on the fence about solar—you won’t regret it.

I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding service. I received from my solar sales representative, Austin Monte. From start to finish, Austin went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled smoothly and in my best interest. I had a settlement bill with edison that I was stressed about, and Austin stepped in and helped get it fully resolved by ensuring what I owed was covered on top of that, he thoughtfully redesigned my system by adding more solar panels and backup batteries to account for my increased nighttime usage from Edison. Brian came to our house in North Andover 6 years ago, and I am so glad he did. Door-to-door sales can sometimes feel aggressive, but Brian was the exact opposite. He walked us through the entire solar process without any pressure and made everything incredibly easy to understand.
Now that we are six years in, I can honestly say the system has been flawless. We haven't had to do a single thing for maintenance and have had zero issues. The best part? We typically only receive one small bill from National Grid in February; the rest of the year is covered. If you are looking for someone honest to help you with solar, I highly recommend Brian.

Sunrun installed solar panel on our roof in Woburn about 3 years ago. This year (2025) we decided to install more panel. The Sunrun teams did a good job from design, planning to installation and activation. Each team is managed by different managers and they keep us informed about the progress and what and when to expect next step. When I have question I call the customer support, most time I get response in reasonable time. Thanks for the team for the work.

I recently added 10 additional solar panels to my current panels. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made the process easy. Having Spanish tiles, a new roof needed to be installed done by a wonderful company and a new electrical box was installed. I also added two batteries. I was notified each time as the process started and as it was coming to completion. Everyone was respectful of my property, myself and my home. Would I recommend, yes, so if you decide to have panels added or installed for the first time, call them you won't be disappointed.

I love sun run! I pay SCE maybe $10 2-3 times a year. Have had no issues at all with my product. Customer Support has been fantastic although I don’t have to call them hardly ever. I just wish that as an existing customer I could get what a new customer get and that is a back up generator. I just can’t afford the $12,000 to purchase one otherwise I would strongly recommend anybody go with Sun Run

I have not been disappointed with my system. We are putting it to the test starting this year in advance. I plan for an air conditioning system, which we installed this year. it is a heat pump system. We did not use the heat this year, but will probably be using it by the end of this year and the beginning of next year. My hope would be to still by the end of the year have been able to have credits.

I have been very satisfied with the Sunrun team starting from initial design to installation/activation. They have been easy to work with and they handle everything along the entire process. My system is turned on now and I can monitor how much energy is produced. Time will tell if the system delivers what it is supposed to but the Sunrun team has met or exceeded my expectations.

I put our first system on my 1st house in Placentia, CA and have LOVED it from the start!! Anytime I have had questions they have been there to answer them and if I had a problem, they were right out to fix it... It's wonderful to have Edison pay us for the electricity we produce and don't use. I would do it again and again!
Actually, we put solar from Sunrun on the house in Temecula also. Same experience, nothing bad to say, only praise for the company and staff!!

The initial solar panel project has been 10+ years with only 1 equipment issue that was diagnosed and corrected as quickly as supply chain could allow. Tech was really professional and kept me informed.
The battery project was even faster, everyone involved was professional, friendly and I was kept informed as to progress of each part of the new battery installation and PTO process.

The communication through the whole process was a really excellent. I spoke to a live person often and I like that. They knew me my address my house. The install was very efficient and when I had a question someone answered and followed up.
I pay nothing to PGE about 8 + months a year. The systems works great and I don’t have to do anything!

Everything has gone smooth since my installation. My SCE bill turned into credits instead of charges almost immediately and it's been about 6 years since then. I have enough energy to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer without having to worry about an expensive electric bill. Choosing Sunrun has been one of the best decisions I've made regarding my home. I've also benefitted greatly from their generous referral program.

The whole team was very professional and executed the job exactly as planned. The timeline was much longer than we anticipated due to other companies and individuals not under Sunrun control. In our case a subcontractor was needed to upgrade our main panel, SDG&E needed to approve the change and we needed a city inspector to sign off on the work performed. Sunrun executed with no issues and we passed all requirements to activate our system. Well worth it. Again, the issue was the wait time for others to come, inspect and approve. Be patient, it’s worth the wait.

Sunrun is an example of complete customer service and customization to what was required for my home, and for my friend for his home. I have a mini- house, he had a large home. N both instances, installation, communication and benchmarks were all met.
The utility companies are slower. Sunrun facilitated all permits from our cities and was present when needed. I’d like to recognize Zak M for keeping me informed, getting my account established; Amanda for service excellence as my customer rep. during the installation.
