I contacted the company regarding an issue and was assured a callback within 48 hours, but had to follow up after 5 days. The referral process could be improved. I referred a neighbor who was told to wait for inspection, despite already having it done. There seems to be miscommunication. Overall, the customer service needs to be more efficient and better coordinated to avoid such issues.

In the five years I've had Sunrun panels, only one service issue arose, promptly resolved by a contracted serviceman. The installation went smoothly, with Sunrun's part being excellent. We were hesitant but our electrician said call Bobby from Sunrun in Petaluma,CA don't go to HD or Costco types because it eventually does not have a true bonified tech/ sales info like Bobby and he will give you his phone to call if there’s anything you need. Bobby from Sunrun came out explained the whole process so clearly and has been involved every step of the way. We're now hooked up and using solar for our energy and eventually will be recognized by PGE but until they are set we are not using any power from them. My total cost to get everything including 2 Tesla batteries is $0. While we will be paying monthly charge to Sunrun, it's much lower than our old PGE bill and there is a small set increase once a year. Don't wait utility prices are not going down, call Bobby at Sunrun.

I found the installation process quite disappointing as the critter guard was installed incorrectly, leading to damage on my roof from pigeon droppings. Additionally, I really wish I had a battery to store energy for nighttime use, as most of my electrical needs arise after dark. Overall, I'm not satisfied.

The salesman was very slick and not very honest. He falsely stated that we would be getting a finders fee of $1000 and potentially up to $2000. We got neither. Also the system was underpowered. We are not getting the amount of solar credit that was promised.
