We were super eager to get a battery wall installed due to rolling blackouts, as well as power owns during fire/high wind season. We called Sunrun and they sent us Josh G. He came and looked at all our Edison bills for the year, totaled them up, gave us our new monthly power estimate which was much less than the average price we had been paying Edison, and not only did our bill go down, but it included the installation of some new extra solar panels (since we let him know we were planning to build a pool and own an electric car in the future, so we wanted to plan ahead when we added new equipment), the new lower pricing also included two Franklin wall batterys and a brand new electrical panel. Someone else on my street hired them for the same thing and there was a little mixup with our equipment from the installers, but Josh was quick to hop in and get it straightened out. It’s nice I didn’t have to call customer service and he was happy to help sort it out for us. That is going above and beyond. I’ve referred him to several friends and family and excited about the $1000 referral bonuses! Our wall batteries have come in to use several times last Fall, and our Edison bill has stayed in the negative or under $30 each month. We definitely feel the savings.

If you are thinking about getting solar, and you're undecided on what company to install it, I highly recommend SunRun. I had an issue with my roof before I could have my solar installed, but SunRun had a solution! So my experience with SunRun couldn't of been better! Above my expectations all the way around. The system was installed at no cost and the agreed-upon monthly payments are lower then paying an electricity bill every month. It hasn't happened yet and I hope it doesn't, but the fun part is going to be if the electricity does goes out, I'll still have power! I don't usually write reviews, but SunRun I couldn't help it, they deserve it. The reps from SunRun, Mohamad, Stephanie, and Misty, the ones that guided me and updated me through the process were also great.

I'll be honest - I wasn't sure what to expect taking over someone else's solar contract, but eight years later I can say it's been one of the best hidden perks of this house. The transfer process was handled professionally, and Sunrun made it easy to get the account set up in my name. Since then, the system has just quietly done its job year after year. Consistent performance, reliable energy production, and real savings on my electricity bills — month after month, year after year. What impresses me most is the longevity and reliability. Eight years in and the panels are still performing well. No major issues, no dramatic drops in output. For a system I didn't even choose myself, it has more than earned my trust. If you're buying a home with Sunrun already installed, don't be intimidated by the contract transfer - it's worth it. And if you're considering solar in general, the fact that these systems hold up this well over the long haul says a lot about the product.

I worked with Sunrun because of only one person. That person was Bill Irons. I tried talking to Sunrun’s call center and help line. Zero answers! Zero callbacks! Zero helpful responses! Bill Irons dug into why Sunrun didn’t think our credit was any good (which was totally false) and got to the bottom of the issue. He alone got us approved! Sunrun would not have our business had it not been for the extreme effort he put in on our behalf! Extra legwork, extra phone calls, Extra digging into other companies websites. Calls to Edison, calls to Tesla, calls to his own company to ferret out answers that got us to the goal post!! I cannot recommend him on to any higher degree!! Work with Bill! He’ll get answers!! He’ll get results

2015 we had a sales rep knock on our door and politely ask if we knew anything about solar and if we were interested. Lets say a gut feeling and faith had us partner with Sunrun. Austin B took great care to lock us in on a wonderful deal before the solar boom took over and CA started giving out “free solar” All that was told to us was accurate and true, best decision we made as new home buyers.

i went thru Costco they set me up with Sunrun i have had them since 2016 i think. i have only had 2 problems one in 2019/2020 didn't realize it stopped working for 6 moths. They credit me on what average i use in past years. Other time was 5 months in 2023 this time when i called some young kid on the line said they don't reimburse with what i have... but all in all we have been satisfied with what we paid and overall performance.

Every interaction has been awesome. Swapped out a high priced utility company with a low priced one. Total energy costs have gone down by more than half and next time there’s a neighborhood blackout, I’ll still have power. Highly recommend.

Solar panels are tied together by parallel circuits when built according to placement design and didnt accout for tree growing taller. Some panels were blocked and i had to have the tree removed. Other than that the peeformance has been great. I have had them 16 years.

We chose to work with Sunrun for two reasons, their excellent products that they offer and pricing. Once we signed, installation happened within a week, so A+ for their fast and efficient service. Installation was also a breeze thanks to clear communication with the Austin M. and the lead Installer. Overall, the process from start to finish was beyond excellent.

I have worked to conserve energy and water for most of my life. When I was interested in getting solar panels for my house, I learned that I could lease them from Sunrun instead of having to pay for them upfront, a cost I could not afford. Over time, I was very impressed with how little it cost me to cool and heat my house. My only complaint was that I could not find anyone to occasionally clean the panels at a reasonable cost. Fortunately, a layer of dust did not seem to reduce the panels’ performance noticeably. Leasing was a good option at the time.

We chose Sunrun to design and install a solar electric system for our home in AZ. They installed it in 2017 and it has generated over 140Mwh during the past nine years. This has resulted in average electric bills around $35 a month, which is great. But we have also had meter issues in four of the nine years during the summer months that have degraded system performance which has not been good. Overall, 4 stars for Sunrun. They are not perfect, but they are sure a lot better than other solar companies that have gone out of business or not maintained the equipment. Good job, Sunrun!

I had looked into solar previously and even talked to Sunrun, but felt they everyone was pushy and there were so many shady practices happening in the industry. I knew I wanted solar though for environmental reasons and cost savings. Especially with how much energy bills have risen lately, it made too much sense to pass up. I got quotes from a number of companies and ultimately chose Sunrun because I trust it will be around in the long run, and because the price was unbeatable. And I'm very happy I did. Sunrun's team did a fantastic job on the install and it's already saving me money on day one.

I chose Sunrun for my new home because they installed the solar system in my last home in 2016. I was greatly pleased with Sunrun. They are very professional all around. Their customer care and service teams are superb. Why not go solar? While public utility companies continue to ever-increase energy rates, solar energy is the answer to saving money and helping the environment. Why not go Sunrun? I had a great experience with Sunrun for 10 years. As a returning customer, I recommend Sunrun. It's worth at least giving them a chance to win you over. You literally have nothing to lose.

PG&E was killing us. Sunrun gave us the opportunity to get away from PG&E 's high rate with no out-of-pocket expense at a lower kilowatt rate. We have over 20 panels and 2 Tesla power walls. It cut our monthly electric bill by around 40%. Again, this came at no money out-of-pocket. The subscription plan really works. We're extremely happy that we made the switch.
