Sunrun has been an amazing experience from the start. We began our journey with Bob G., Sales Associate, who explained how we could benefit from installing solar on our home. Bob was an all-truth kind of guy who took his time to detail both the solar and Tesla Powerwall products. After the conversation, there was no question, we wanted to commit to solar and follow through with the next steps. Our next Sunrun contact was Gary K, Sales Representative, who kept in close contact throughout the pre/post solar installation. Beginning with our initial appointment, Gary was professional, knowledgeable, and personable; the customer was priority one. Gary contacted us on a regular basis, ensuring our questions were answered and each step of the process was explained thoroughly. We would recommend Sunrun to anyone who is interested in solar or even unsure if its a good fit for them. Once you have spoken to the Sunrun team, you too will be leaving a raving review just like we have.

I got my panels in 2016, and they’ve been great. My only complaint is with SDGE, which does not acknowledge all of the kW I’ve generated and credits me a fraction of what they’re worth. And they don’t allow new battery storage systems with existing solar panels, which is antithetical to CA as a green state. But they need idiots like me to keep paying my bill, even though it should be zero, because 25% of San Diego residents don’t pay their bill or are late with it. Annoying. But not Sunrun’s fault. That said, I have a friend who had an awful experience with Sunrun, but mine was good because I went through Costco, which I would highly recommend - this way Sunrun is forced to do a good job

DO NOT USE SUNRUN!!!! POS equipment did not work, it took about six months of back and forth to finally fix it. My true up bill was $1800, first year when equipment worked it was $180 . They will not help you. Customer service is in another country and they have nothing but canned answers. Sunrun should you to another country, they are unamerican!

I’ve learned my lesson the hard way and I would recommend that you stay away from sunrun at all costs. If you’re in a dire need for solar just save money and effort and go straight to Tesla

Customer service is exceptional. Any time you have a question or need clarification someone on the team reaches out with an answer. The installation of panels provides 90% of bill coverage during summer months. December through March with sun and weather limitations are regular energy bill is high though. Often around $600.00 per month.

The installation process was seamless and 2 years ago I was notified that my backup battery had failed. I didn’t even know but their computer told them. They replaced the battery at no charge. The electric bills have been fractions of what they were. We are very happy with our decision to go solar with Sunrun.

I have appreciated how smoothly the process has gone from the start. Patrick (S) provided excellent customer service and explained the process very thoroughly. Then, working with Kip M to coordinate installation, the level of attention to detail provided a profound sense of reassurance that Sunrun has the interest of the customer in mind. Finally, Ringo S remained in frequent communication through the process of working with my electric utility provider all the way until we were "full go." Oh yeah, the savings I have seen have also been remarkable. I can say, that receiving a bill from my electric utility provider for the month of late February until late March for $16.91 was awesome! Thank you Sunrun!

Would I get solar again? Yes! The only thing is, I wish we got it sooner. The process was so easy from the time of signing the contract to installation. We were so happy with it, we decided to get Solar Batteries a year after our install. We have had SunRun for about 2 years now. From the initial consultation until now we have been extremely happy. Everything was explained clearly and installation was easy. Even when we had a recent issue with a panel they came out quickly and replaced the panel. The app is easy to use to track usage and it’s been amazing when the neighborhood is experiencing an outage we still have our lights on thanks to the backup battery!

Dan went above and beyond to get my panels installed. At one point the electric company wanted me to pay for a transformer which was about $8,000 otherwise I would not be able to get the amount of panels I needed. But after talking with Dan and coming up with some ideas we were able to get all the panels needed installed without having to purchase a transformer. If you’re going to get solar go with SunRun

I love having SunRun installing my solar panel because they do what they promised to do. They even reimbursed me for relocated my pool heater because it is too close to the panel. My solar panels work well, they produce more than expected on the good day. I have enough electricity to use so I don’t need to pay eversource anymore. It’s a relief since eversource’s rate is going up

I have had my SunRun solar system since 2018. I leased my panels. Went through 2 inverters in 2018 and 2020. The inverters were replaced. In the early years, SunRun was rapidly expanding and, in my opinion, definitely had room to improve in the customer service area. I’m happy to say that I would now recommend their company. Everyone should have a second chance. SunRun has now become a top notch solar company.

Sunrun made the idea of solar panels obtainable. When first considering solar panels, I was intimidated by tax rebates, special forms, installation fees etc Sunrun takes all of that fuss out of the equation. I paid ZERO out of pocket money for a full assessment to find the perfect layout to maximize output and ZERO $ for installation. I've had no problems since install July '23 and am looking forward to years of solar energy.

Going solar with SunRun has been a game changer for my family and our home. Our rep Eva made it so easy and got us set up in record time. Our electric bill is basically $0. The backup battery has successfully powered our home through dozens of power outages. We got an EV and a home charger, this has helped to dramatically reduce our fuel consumption and save a few hundred dollars a month thanks to the solar array. There is room for improvement on Sunrun’s customer support side. If they can address this, they will go from great, to a truly exceptional enterprise.

I am not a bot and am willing to discuss with anyone interested. Sunrun was amazing in accomplishing what I wanted: I produce my own electricity now!!!! The options for install were clearly delineated. I was made aware of all possible contingencies. In the end, I can honestly say that it brings me great joy to produce my own electricity and be free from cost increases associated with most power companies… In the winter I do have pay in a bit, but paying $0.00 for electricity for 8 months of the year is awesome.

I love my SunRun solar panels. There was no upfront cost. I simply pay SunRun instead of paying my regular bill to Xcel. This was a no increase in cost deal that is getting better as electricity prices increase. The SunRun website keeps track of my system and SunRun is responsible for any hail damage or other problems with the system. I have bought three sunrun systems for my home and investment properties. I have an electric car which is now primarily powered by sunshine. how cool is that? I would advise any homeowner in an area with sun to get a sunrun system.

Our Sunrun experience has been nothing but positive. Sunrun advised us and statused progress every step of the way. We have been on Solar for a year now and have had no problems or issues of concern. Pretty much a seamless installation with no worries since up and running. Oh did I mention, the Sunrun people are awesome, with their knowledge and cordial service. Thanks again Sunrun!!

Sunrun staff were very educational regarding all the options for our battery installation on our Sunrun panels. We chose to go through Sunrun itself rather than a large box store as Sunrun was willing to install a battery rather than two batteries and additional panels. The installation crew arrived early and completed the job in one day. They were very thorough and worked hard on a very hot day.

I’ve had solar through Sunrun for a few years now and it has been a great decision. My total cost for electric is certainly lower than it was, and that’s the main reason I went solar. Pricing options are plentiful and sized to your electric needs. My salesman, Ben F was SUPER low pressure and very knowledgeable and helped me through the process.

When John T came to explain about Sunrun solar, he took the time to explain everything. When I didn't understand, he explained again. Never rushed us. Was polite and thorough. Made sure all bases were covered. Gave me enough panels so I didn't have to worry about paying electric. Since e I have owned my solar, our house stays so much cooler. Air conditioning runs less. It's efficient and I'm not ruining the environment. As far as I can say, Sunrun is the best. John really knew what he was talking about. Thank you so much. Beverly

Customer service helped me to figure out why I wasn't getting a savings. I followed their directions and I contacted my energy company since then I've worked with them to correct everything and my solar panels are working great my bills have gone from $400 a month down to 100. I am still working to make them even lower. But what a savings. Thank you to the service people for helping me figure out what was wrong. I am now receiving a substantial savings. I've recommended you over and over again to many people. Overall I am extremely happy with my solar energy.

Our customer rep, Tom, was a very knowledgeable and personable guy who was thorough and patient when explaining the program to us. The technicians who installed the system were friendly and worked quickly. The output of the system and the savings that Tom told us we could expect were spot-on. So far, there have been no issues to correct with the system and customer support is always there if we need it.

Robert took the time to not only listen to our needs, but also to ask the probing questions regarding future plans in order to determine what would be the best fit for us. We were initially on the fence regarding the Tesla back up battery and I am glad we moved forward with it. In the past year we have had at least four power outages. With the first one we didn't even realize it until a neighbor said something to us. Yes it kicked in that smoothly, like a small blip of a power surge. We have already recommended Sunrun to friends

Kate has helped make determination which of the Sunrun programs were the best form my situation. She also helped me through a couple of hurdles. Her knowledge and expertise in her field made my purchase of solar system a complete success. I install Sunrun's panels on 4 of my rentals and and turned on a couple of my friends.
