Out of all warranty companies this company has met all my issues. My only complaint is that it can take 48 hours to fix an issue. Is it possible to put companies that have 24 hours and emergency service in your system? Also can you not increase your long time customers every year? I have referred customers to you like 3 besides my father. I found out they did not put down my name as a referral, which is okay because your service is good.

My warranty was included when I bought my house. My A/C went out within 2 months. I called and started a claim which was on the weekend. I received a call on Monday an appointment scheduled. The company came out and the unit. No hassle no issues with getting the HVAC company paid. I only had to pay my service fee. When my parents passed away and I had to sell their home, I had my realtor pay 1 yr and included it with the selling of the home.

I've been with First American Warranty for over 10 years now, and they have been an excellent company to work with. I really don't have any complaints about them. They have fulfilled their obligation over the past 10 years. The biggest thing that I can say about them is that they choose the right people to do the work. There is no other home warranty company to choose from at all the closings on real estate , so we chose to accept it , which was First American , and someone from choice home warranty called and gave us a cheaper price when it was time to renew, WELL LETS JUST SAY IT WAS THE WORST MISTAKE WE EVER MADE is changing from First American!!!!! I know someone who worked for them and he was a witness to the company only requiring the owner of the company to be licensed , not the workers that come to your home…. We had a tech who came to our house to fix a fan in our double oven , which was making allot of noise , after he was done,he sent another tech to “finish the job”, he was worse than the first , then another one came and the owner, but after it was all over with , my double oven would no longer work, it stayed on even when cut off, increasing in temperature , we had to cut it off at the breaker , and nobody from the company would come back, we were in the middle of selling the home, so we had to put out 2500 for new owner to purchase a new double oven after closing, Choice home warranty would not hold the owner of this company liable , and no matter what we did and tried to call multiple times to Choice, they said they had to go by what tech says, and tech says it was fixed!!!!!! The techs did not know what they were doing because they were not certificed or licensed to even know how to work on appliaces . NEVER AGAIN will we switch from First American Home Warranty. WE APPRECIATE a company like First AMERICAN , that all closing attorneys stand by and HIGHLY recommend.

I left First American for a year (to Choice HW) and it was a disaster. With First American, I can actually talk with a person fairly quickly- with Choice, had to wait hours for a call back. First American had my back when it came to repairs the 2 years plus that I've had their coverage.

They try to do the right thing. That's their biggest plus. Where the sometimes falter is not getting parts to their contractors in a timely manor. I u/understand cost is everything but service is also. In spite of that, they are still the best.

THERE PROCESS IS GREAT, THE COVERAGES ARE GREAT AND AS LONG AS I OWN A HOME, THEY WILL BE PROTECTING US. Whenever I did speak with someone, they were able to help me right away, or at least gave me the assurance that they were "working on it." I've had to call them back several times to get updates. Often would get a different person telling me different things. We never received confirmation emails or phone calls on the status of anything, not sure if this is a technical glitch, so make sure they can and will email you receipts and status updates. I'd log into my account and would sometimes find updates on information but there is no history in what happened, so I highly recommend you keep your own records of things!

They've been excellent. I've had them with my house now for almost thirty years. They're there to help and get solutions to whatever is going on. There have been several times that they've actually thought about the response I was given from a vendor and it wasn't right and they questioned it and go second opinions to make sure they were right. They do their research. They don't assume that their vendor is always right. I had a plumbing leak and they took care of it. It was incredible. I had some complications from the vendor and issues and modification charges. They did all the research necessary to get it resolved properly and now the job is done. I'm very happy. First American makes sure you're satisfied when you're done. I've had a couple managers involved because there were things that didn't make sense and the actual sales person couldn't match it so they connected me to a manager that could answer my question and give me good, sufficient answers.

When we bought our dream home and the deal was ''' as is'', we planned on needing to make some repairs and find a few surprises so we asked for First American Home Warranty coverage with our contract. Wow, did we underestimate the things that would go wrong with this little place. In the first three years, nearly every major appliance has gone out as well as fans, plumbing, both toilets, and I can''t even remember what else. First American has not refused us? Dropped up, questioned us or anything, they have helped us quickly and politely with every single claim. We would have been lost and financially ruined if we had not had this policy.

When my A/C broke down with First American, they fixed it right away and everything and it's running great. There was one little problem though. When the guy replaced the parts up in the attic, they didn't replace the board. I'm happy with the company, it was the vendor's fault. They sent an email and said it needed to get replaced and First American acted right away and put the part on order. I get great service. They're very professional and they come out right away and service and take care of things. It works really fast. I wouldn't change the company. I had another company and when I saw your company and found out what they cover, I was ecstatic and I've been happy every since. They react really fast.

I really like the experience of working with them and not having to deal with the companies that you get your appliances from. This particular time they gave a time in which the company could come and service that item and I had problems with that time and I worked with First American Warranty and let them know and within forty eight hours they called and got me within forty hours of the call. I had problems with my dryer and I thought they would be able to repair it and go from there. The technician came out and serviced the dryer and told me what was wrong with it and then left. After I tried to use the dryer after he left, it wouldn't work. And I called them back and I got aggravated with the time it took for them to come out and reservice it. And it ended up costing me another $75 and I didn't know I was going to have to pay for that because it wasn't part of the actual dryer. First American was great, it was the company that came out of my house that I wasn't excited about.

Having an older house makes having a home warranty a must. I don't know how we would have paid for some of the repairs that we've needed over the years if they hadn't been covered. We have peace of mind knowing that we are protected from catastrophic damage and repairs. Well worth the investment. Occasionally we have to call more than once to get a technician scheduled, but that is really a problem with individual companies and not the fault of First American. Customer service has been wonderful. I don't think we could live in our house without them. We were not solicited for our business. I researched the best coverage and called them. No phone calls or emails asking us to increase coverage or buy other products. We truly could not be happier.

You are asking for a rating for something that I haven't even used. So, how can I rate the company until or when, I might have a claim? It's all good, fine and dandy beforehand, Until then, my rating First America is pretty worthless- other than to say, that the initial contact with the US-based representatives seemed very positive and appreciated and one of the reasons that I left AHS after disastrous customer service and non-existent follow-up from them. So, we are off to a good start with First American and hopefully, in the event of a claim, the level of service will remain 5 star.

They are the best! Proof is in the work and getting things done. They have replaced by dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, and other thing that needed fixing. And the contractors that aren't doing the job, their gone. New one are so much better. I have used them for over 20 years and tried others, but always went back to FAHW. You will be making a mistake if you don't use them.

First American Home Warranty sent a reputable HVAC company out to repair our unit. They did approve a new unit be installed. It just took 6 days from the unit going out before it was replaced. I felt it could’ve been more expedient but it did go out on a weekend. With the temperature ranging from 101-107 during those days, we were forced out of our home and even with the premium plan it cost us $1200 plus hotel expenses.

I was extremely disappointed in your competitor, Choice Home Warranty. I was a customer of theirs for many years without making any claims. As soon as I had a claim, they c as me up with many tests that "I" had to pay for to qualify for replacement. There would be hardly any savings on my part for being a customer all of those years. AFHW allowed me to apply all those years to their service and get immediate coverage. So far, I feel I have the program of them all and I am very happy. . m.

They have been prompt, courteous, friendly, informative, and professional in my dealings with them. I've had several issues this first year of owning my new home. They have provided rooter service, fixed a plumbing leak of sewer pipe in my crawl space, replaced my ice maker, replaced my stove, and replaced a remote to my garage door in addition to a new battery in the other one. Quick response even though no fault of anyone due to supply and demand took awhile for parts to come in. When they did the company contracted out said it was better to replace our unit in which we did. The unit ran beautifully until a snake decided to venture into our new a/c unit and pretty much destroyed it. Once again the warranty would not cover so we had to buy another unit. Plug your a/c holes with a deterrent of some sort to keep snakes and whatever else could find residence in your unit.

Used FAHW website and logged in a claim for air conditioner not running. We received an email back with a company name we called them and they said no longer service our area due to gas prices. We received another email from FAHW that another company was being notified. They called us and said they would be here about 3:30. They were early and fixed our problem promptly since it was a condenser that went bad. Our air was out for less than a day. Thank you.

He was pleasant, friendly and made it very simple to explain the coverage, price, etc. The most impressive part was that if something could not be fixed, then that item would be replaced. We've just moved into our new house, for which our agent gave us a gift of the First American Home Warranty. Unfortunately we found a valve leaking under the sink the first days we were in the house. Thankfully, First American had us covered. After Phoenix Plumbing, Heating and Air was dispatched to the project, First American kept us posted of the upcoming service. Jesse, the plumber was very competent and friendly. To ensure the best service, we were also invited to provide immediate feedback. All these proved the five-star qualify of First American.

We have been using them for years. I used then when I had a leak under my kitchen sink & needed a new garbage disposal system. I’ve used then when we had a leak in our hotwater heater & they came out & replaced it. I had a leak under one of my bathroom sinks & they got me a new sink & repaired the leak. They are a great company to work with & there for me when I need them.

I have been insuring with First American Home Warranty since 2013. I feel that they have always treated me fairly and their prices have been in accordance with the services received for replacement of my gas oven and hot water heater, as well as minor HVAC repairs and refrigerator water leaks from the ice maker system. I plan on continuing my insurance agreement with them in the future.

It is only because they have been really good to me as their customer. Each and every time that I may have experienced any problems or issues; they were always opened to be of an excellent help and assistance to our household. Never had a problem very professional I've always got the work that I need it in a timely matter I've been with them 14 years and I've never once had a bad representative come out and do shoddy work I'm just very pleased my reasoning prepare the warranty is I don't really miss the $65 a month but if something breaks and I have to come up with five or six hundred or a thousand or even more if I didn't have the warranty that would probably be an issue

I had a claim on my electric stove. I called the office since it was my 1st claim, they actually took my information and gave me the information on the vendor who was assigned to come to my unit. I received updates on everything that was happening. The vendor was actually able to repair the stove. The vendor was professional, friendly and knew exactly what he needed to do to make the repairs and had parts on his truck. Great experience and service with both the First American Home Warranty and the vendor they used for our repairs.
