I wanted the double locks changed on the house and they were out there the next day. The person that did it was very cordial and explained what he was doing and the options that I had when there was an extra cost. It was a good experience all around. It was easy to schedule an appointment and I didn't have to wait and extended period of time. Sometimes it can be kind of confusing getting on the correct website and a lot of times you end up on the site for a home warranty search engine instead of the one where you want to get the service.

They were prompt and answered my questions, they send somebody right away which was very helpful. I had to use my warranty a few times actually. We just purchased a home and realized that the dishwasher door wasn't latching properly and the ice maker on our fridge wasn't making ice. The plumber had broken one of the valves into it. They are reasonable, friendly, and hardworking. All the things that I would want in the company to service my home. Keep up the great work.

When the first contract for a repair person did not work out, they imemdiately found another store. I had a refrigerator icemake issue where the water was going all over the inside of the freezer causing stalactites and stalagmites and First American found a vendor to come out and fix the problem but the vendor could not come out for two weeks and when I said that wasn't accetable, First American found another source immediately. They responsed immediately to the concern that I had.

Whenever I had a claim, they came pretty fast and they work fast. Another company took forever to get somebody here and they didn't know what they were doing. First American has people that come and fix things and they know what they're doing. I think for my it's most important. I had a plumbing issue and I called First American to put the claim in and they came and fixed it. They always come and professionally fix things and you don't have to think about it.

They are always friendly and overall, I recommend First American. I used it to replace my heater and everything went very well. Everyone is knowledgeable and they have folks from companies in the area that were professional and got the job done quickly. I hope that the service call doesn't keep increasing. Right now it's 70 dollars a call and I hope that it doesn't increase anytime.

We've had a couple of claims and they've been very responsible and quick. There was a couple of issues when we first bought the house. A couple of weeks in, the furnace and heating air conditioning went out and we called them and they sent somebody out to replace the unit so it it took about a week or so. Unfortunately, the contractor that they hired to do it everything talked about buying a new thermostat for three hundred and some dollars and come to find out it was only about thirty dollards and it was the wrong one for the unit. And it wasn't working and we ended up paying like two thousand dollars. We had some other people come out and they were the ones that actually found the issue and told me some of the issues and they got it fixed working great. When I called First American, the first contractor they sent out to us was not reputable and they just basically said too bad, we can't do anything about it.

I found them to be very understanding and very willing to communicate and discuss whatever needs I had and helped me through my situation. I was experiencing difficulties with appliances and they responded by sending the proper people out to diagnose and help resolve the problem or have the product replaced if it was beyond repair. I believe they set some very high standards for other home warranty companies. We've never been disapointed and we feel like they are fair and their pricing is good. We as a family trust Frist American completely.

I had a problem with the refrigerator ice maker which was part of my warranty package. I called and they sent somebody to me within twenty four hours and they were not able to perform the job on that particular brand of product but they called within the twenty four hour window and First American Warranty found a second vendor and they called and were very prompt. They kept me informed the entire way so the customer service was excellent. They exceeded my expectations.

First of all the assigned service company takes two days to respond after the claim is registered with FAHW. Then it takes 7 days to come and evaluate. Then it takes few more days for approval by FAHW. Then after few days the work is done. So it takes about 2 weeks before the problem is fixed. This is ridiculous inspite of having a high plan with FAHW. Very disappointing.

The caliber of contractors is mostly poor. I had a VERY DIFFICULT EXPERIENCE with replacing my air conditioning unit. Contractor lied continuously and ordered wrong unit. Took over two months during 115 degree heat to replace it. They broke ceiling in my closet and First American would not help me. I fought contractor to get it fixed and it was redone poorly. Two years later I am still dealing with the consequences of that contractor.

Fortunately, I have only had to use it 3 times in several years. It is worth it to me to be able to make one phone call to have something repaired or replaced. The last time I made a call, I found out that the appliance was not broken and cancelled the call. The repairman was very cooperative and did not give me a hard time; even suggested that I call hm back after I checked. I appreciated that.

It's quick and easy to file a claim with First American Home Warranty. All you have to do is click a button. The contractors usually do a good job with contacting you within an appropriate time period. I have only experienced an issue once regarding the repair of my fridge. It took a while for repair as I was told the contractor was awaiting receipt of a part.

Fantastic company we had a lot of things go wrong all in the same month washing machine dishwasher and refrigerator had a bit of a problem getting the refrigerator and it did take a bit of time about 30 days when they couldn’t get a new one they mailed me a check and I went and bought one nice company I am completely satisfied

Instead I have to be calling the companies that they randomly select to perform the work on my home, Checking that the approvals are in and the work gets scheduled in a timely manner. I shouldn't be the one doubling back on these companies to get things done on my home. Not ok.

Our garage door started going up and down on its own and company came out that day and fixed it. One of our heating units went out on a Saturday and no appts available until following Friday when we were out of town for a planned trip. We returned on next Monday and they called with an appt and came out to relight pilot light and remove some residue fromthermalcouple. Tuesday the heating unit went out again. It was assigned to a different company. I called them and was told by the person answering he would call me back. He never did so I called him back. He said could send someone next day as his person had broke his thumb. No one showed for the appt so I did a resubmission. And it was assigned to yet another company who scheduled me a a workin appt today which is pending.

They take care of business and get you a company to fix your problem but it is so slow sometimes.. takes week or better.. I had a problem with my oven two years ago and it had to be replaced.. took two months or month and a half to get it resolved.. brought wrong oven first time then had to wait for next one etc on and on but finally got the right one and it is great..

I started with an insurance company to alleviate the stress of finding someone to do work if needed. Always there is a wait sometimes long wait for company to come. They respond immediately but one company even told me for a fee they would come sooner. When they come they usually don't have the part and have to come back. I have had one tell me he would have to tear out a brick wall to stop my leak. Y'all didn't cover brick repair. I have had some one repair an air conditioner that blew hot air afterwards because they forgot to close the side. Another time they put in a drain upside down and later it caused the machine not to work. I had a leaking ice maker fixed and after warranty up it broke but that may just be coincidence even tho same problem. I am really wondering if I would had same hassle with out paying a yearly fee.

Prompt response to service request. When the appliance company did not follow through with repairs, a representative called me to explain the situation and promised immediate follow up. The next company that was assigned followed up immediately, completed repairs, was professional and knowledgeable. All appliances work properly now.

There's always room for improvement. I was pleased with Accord Appliance service but waited a long time on hold trying to schedule an appointment as well as a follow-up appointment. The system didn't recognize me regardless of what information I used so was forced to wait on hold to talk to a live person. Hopefully I won't have that problem next time I need service.

I've had my dryer exchanged for a brand new one. The experience was pleasant, I was really impressed by how quick it got done(I think it was done in 4 days from the day I called to them installing it) , then they fixed my fridge (that was done within 2 days)

When I did start to open my first file, they were going to find me plumber within an allotted amount of time. When that time came, I got an email saying I needed to find my own contractor. I had plumbing backing up, and it was an emergency. I am giving 4 stars because they refunded my deposit because I ended up canceling the order because it was cheaper than I had feared. They were very helpful for that resolution.

Number one they're very reasonable in price. Number two when I had to have my dishwasher fixed they got in touch with the person it was to fix it this person came out fixed it and it was perfect I have never had another problem. And they are so prompt with everything.

I am a new subscriber, but I had a problem with my dryer immediately after I signed up, and I was able to put in a request with no problem and get the situation resolved. I have only had one other warranty company which was much more expensive and did not cover the same amount of appliances. So far, so good with First American Home Warranty!
