The service person I worked with on my last claim was so polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Liberty Home Guard does seem to have a high quality of contractors. He gave us tips for maintaining our dryer and washer and most importantly was able to fully repair it. Luke from Liberty Home Guard’s customer service team also did exquisite work prioritizing my appointment so we were able to resolve this in two days. Thanks for being so quick, I appreciate it a lot. Thank you for being so dependable.

I can't thank Liberty Home Guard enough for their swift and efficient kitchen response when my oven broke 2 days prior to a family event I was due to host. Danny took down the claim initially and came through when he said they would do their best to get me a repairman right away. That same evening an Oven repairman was at my doorstep. And not only did he get my oven working again, he also proactively replaced an exhaust fan we had in the kitchen. He was on top of everything. I now enjoy a perfectly working oven and clean, odor-free kitchen, thanks to Liberty Home Guard's reliable service. Couldn’t recommend them more.

When our HVAC unit suddenly stopped working, we were very fortunate to have Liberty Home Guard standing behind its commitment to us. Within a week they got the unit back up and running. To be clear, this was the complete opposite experience than what we had with our last home warranty company, American Home Shield. American Home Shield gave us the run around for weeks and in the end we had to find our technician and pay completely out of pocket. Here with Liberty, the technician arrived within 48h and diagnosed the issue as a faulty capacitor right on the spot. He came back a couple days later, replaced the part and it has been working perfectly ever since.

We decided to write this review as a token of our appreciation for a rep at Liberty Home Guard that went above and beyond. Chris helped us get signed up with a policy and also when we had an issue with a job quote we received from a contractor. This was not even related to a claim but we trusted Chris so decided to call him and get his take on the price. Chris asked to speak with the handyman directly and was so knowledgeable, that not only did he correct/improve the contractors scope of work, he got him to drop his price by 50%. Chris showed that he really cares about his customers and will go the extra mile for them. If the other reps are as high-quality as Chris I will remain a Liberty Home Guard customer for another 20 years.

I was unsure about whether or not to purchase a home warranty, as this was the first time I bought a home. But after doing A TON of research, I decided to go with Liberty, and I'm happy I bought their coverage. Their five-year policy was under what I wanted to spend per year on coverage and it covers absolutely everything, including our pool and septic system. When I had an issue with my air conditioning, Michael from their customer service ensured that we got a repairman right away. When the fix was completed I got a follow up call from Nicole to ensure everything went smoothly, which thankfully it did. Most importantly, they saved me over $600 on the repairs and recharge.

I've been a customer of Liberty Home Guard for four years now. I originally purchased a one year policy. They helped me with replacing my Air Conditioning that year. That was my only claim that year but the savings paid for the policy a few times over so I decided to renew and upgrade to a three year plan when my original policy expired. Over the years since, I've unfortunately had to make a few claims. That said, Liberty did not disappoint, not even once. Their technicians always seem qualified technicians, and I I know for every claim the savings will be real and significant. Carlos and Jake have been two reps I’ve spoken with in the past who have helped me out and I also want to say thank you to them, they are a significant part why I’m writing this review.

Liberty Home Guard recently helped me with our heating system. At first I was not sure what was making the noise but when I spoke with the agent at Liberty Home Guard, he said he had a feeling it was my HVAC system so he went ahead and assigned an HVAC specialist to my issue. He was actually able to come out the next day which I appreciated. When he came, he went straight to the heating system. It turned out that our blower motor fan was loose. He made the fix, cleaned up and left. The entire job took him about 45 minutes. Actually, as I’m writing this review, I’m having a similar issue with our clothes dryer, so I plan on making a claim with Liberty Home Guard again later today. Hopefully this one goes as smoothly as the last one. If it doesn’t, I will make sure to come back here and update my review.

John made my home warranty experience a breeze. I initially signed up with him for a 3-year policy but after my last claim I think I’m going to convert it to a 5-year one. The speed with which they sort claims out is great and the savings are the real deal. They hooked me up big time when my central heating unit broke. They fully replaced it and instead of costing me about $5,500, which is what their contractor told me he would have charged, I only spent around $2,500. They have definitely surpassed my expectations and provided value to me and my family. I look forward to being a customer with them for years to come.

I've had a great experience with Liberty up until now. I do currently have an ongoing claim (about 5 days), and I’m hopefully to get it resolved soon. It is for my Thermador oven, which I know can be difficult to source parts for because it is a bit older (approx. 20 years). That said, I do feel comfortable writing this review because on my past 4 claims Liberty achieved high marks in both convenience and savings. Also, Jake the representative I spoke with at Liberty regarding my Thermador assured me that based on the breakdown, my oven issue would be fully covered, which was a relief to say the least. If something does go wrong or differently with this claim and my Liberty experience, I do plan to come back and update this review.

I called and got connected with Lorraine when my central heating system stopped working. She worked fast, and I had a technician at my place two days later. The guy knew his stuff and was able to reanimate the system on the next visit, which was another two days later. All in all, we were out of heat for four days which was tough, but for a home warranty company Liberty moved lightning fast and we saved about $650. Lorraine was very helpful, checking in on us and you could tell she cared about our welfare. By the way, the technician even cleaned the area after he was done, which while not necessary, was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the entire team that helped us out here.

The house we bought unfortunately had an older plumbing system, and we were extremely concerned about the potential for issues with it down the line and the associated costs. Because of this, we decided to purchase a home warranty. We did a ton of research and Liberty Home Guard appealed to us the most. While we unfortunately did have a few plumbing issues, Liberty Home Guard stood behind their commitments to us and handled each issue, soup-to-nuts. They also saved us about $1,500 in the course of resolving those issues. Thank you for following through and supporting our home Liberty Home Guard.

I just submitted my first claim with them and it was easy to both create the claim and see it resolved. To create the claim, I filled out their form online and as soon as I hit the submit button I got a call for their customer service team. They informed me that they have a repairman available to come to my home the next day and even showed me the repair company’s good reviews online. He came fully prepared and the issue was completely fixed the next day. I’m hopeful that this was not just beginner’s luck and that my future claims will be handled with the same level of care. I do plan to update this review if the next claim or future claims go awry. Thank you for the quick turnaround Liberty!

I'm so thankful for the impeccable service I and my family have received from Liberty Home Guard for our home. They have little to no wait times when it comes to speaking with an actual, live human, english speaking rep and their customer service team has always been quick to follow up and keep us looped in. For example on my last claim, 10 minutes after I got off the phone speaking with Julia, a rep, I believe her name was Lorraine, called me to inform me that a contractor could be at my house within a few minutes if I wanted. Unfortunately, we all just left the house so instead, I took the next day's appointment. I’m happy to see how proactive and willing to help Liberty is.

The same day I called to place a claim for a faulty water heater, it was assigned to a repairman. I wanted to be careful, so I looked them up and saw that they had 4 out of five stars on google. He came the next day, after fifteen minutes told me the water heater needed to be replaced and that he notified Liberty. About five minutes later I got a call from Jake who explained that the replacement would be covered and should be arriving at my house in two days. As promised, the water heater arrived, along with the same repairman two days later and they completed the replacement of my water heater. Everything went smooth and not only does the new water heater work perfectly, I’m also saving every month on my utility bill since it is more efficient.

The customer service team at Liberty Home Guard is just consistently strong. Whether they’re explaining to you the coverage or helping you get your claim prioritized (all things I’ve personally experienced), they communicate clearly and patiently. They have displayed understanding of my perspective and empathize with you. I can’t say that I’ve always been covered for each of my claims and haven’t had to come out of pocket sometimes, but my expectations were always set and I was communicated with clearly and effectively. And yes, overall during my years of coverage with Liberty Home Guard I have saved thousands of dollars by using them.

Emily from Liberty Home Guard was very helpful. She offered to help us navigate the online portal the first time so we could learn how to use it (and not have to call in, in the future). She helped us submit a claim for our oven, and then checked on her end to ensure it all went correctly. She then personally went into their system and found a contractor who was going to be around our home the next day. The next day the contractor arrived and determined the oven should not be repaired. They followed up and let me know that a new oven should be arriving at our house the next week and that this same contractor would be back to install it. Our new oven was installed the next week and Liberty Home Guard followed through on their plan to the tee.

This is the first time I have had or used a home warranty, and Liberty truly delivers a stellar performance. Their customer service representatives were an absolute pleasure to speak with, the answer my call quickly, spoke english fluently, knew the product inside out and made me feel comfortable the whole way through. The repair man who showed up to take care of the issue even spoke highly of them, it seems he and his company held this company in high regard. I will be renewing my contract next June and will have Liberty’s plan as long as I own my home. Thank you for great service, it is a pleasure to work with you.

His professionalism and patient attitude were fresh air compared to the rude unprofessional agents I deal with on a daily. He is one that cares about taking care of his clients, rare in these days of Covid-19. I have some health problems and thought this would be a stressful process as dealing with most things seem to be these day . But Brad made this process stress free. i want to thank you Brad for all your held and I feel comfortable coming to you in the future and recommending my friends and family to you also. Horrible. I needed service on my garbage disposal. Paid my $75 and repaid said not repairable. Liberty has said they will replaced the uni It but not the labor. What’s the sense of having a warranty. I did have a warranty with Sears and they do did cover parts AND labor. Do not use. Check someone else out. Update. Aaron contacted me regarding this problem and I have to say he went over and over to help us. They have agreed to pay for installation and cleared up the miscommunication between me and the first gentlemen I spoke with. It’s my first claim and as dissatisfied I was in the beginning so far after speaking to him I feel I make the right choice. Thanks again Aaron for your help

Have only had the policy for a few months and boy, am I glad I do. Both fridge and a/c decided they were going to give me attitude and stop working... within a few weeks of each other. I think it's a conspiracy among my appliances but what they don't realize is that I made the best decision for a homeowner and that was to go with Liberty Home Warranty. Too bad for them! I did my homework before and absolutely certain that I went with the right company. How many companies do we as consumers deal with that every time you contact them you get a different person? Not so with Liberty. Every time I call, my personal csm answers the phone and knows who I am. That's really good refreshing. Jason is awesome and goes out of his way to make the whole experience as painless as possible. Don't look any further... I've done the research for you. If a company's only con is that they are not nationwide, then that says it all right there. Go with them... you won't be disappointed.

LHG sent tech out to inspect HVAC that wouldn't heat. Tech recommended full replacement. LHG quoted equipment and installation. I paid LHG their requested amount. After payment I was told that the carrier equipment I'd paid for wasn't available and they switched me to goodman. Fast forward months and tech arrives to perform installation of replacement 3 zone system. 14 hours later tech leaves and immediately threatens to take a lien out on my home for work that wasn't completed. Liberty chose to pay tech even though work wasn't marked as completed and I'd literally called them to verify that as well. Now LHG is refusing to finalize the installation their provided tech never finished and are taking months to finalize a "dispute". LHG has asked that I pay an additional $1700 to finalize the installation I'd already paid for because the technician they chose to use wasn't licensed in the state I'm in and they paid the tech prior to work being completed. Instead of taking accountability for their actions, they instead expect me to cough up another nearly $2k for an installation that was done incorrectly, could be damaging my equipment AND is damaging my home through excessive moisture generation due to improperly sealed and insulated equipment and ducting. Worked with LHG for months to try to get them to finish the install to no avail. Caveat Emptor. VERIFY the license and insurance information of any vendor they send to your home. I only found out about this after I was forced to contact the HVAC board to try to get additional information. The tech provided by LHG wasn't licensed and LHG has refused to provide his license or insurance information now for more than 3 mohths.
