I chose a Liberty Home Guard residential warranty on a former home that I lived in. The premium was reasonably priced and the customer service was excellent. I had to file a claim a couple of times and each time I did the adjustment was fair saving me money on the repairs. The Liberty Home Guard warranty gave peace of mind and good value for the expense.

My water tank went out and all they want to pay is $175 of the $2250 they said it will coast to fixed it. When I purchased this warranty they told me if any of my appliances were to go out they would replace it but thats a lie!!!

Liberty Home Guard is horrendous to their contractors. As an HVAC contractor I can attest firsthand to their disrespect, lack of appreciation, poor business practices/relationships and outrageous denials of payment (such as I am dealing with now), due to missing trivial info that has nothing to do with the reason for the service call....No, we did not get a picture of the outdoor air conditioning unit that we had no access to after repairing the heater....."Payment denied" until we get them a picture of the AC unit. Sadly, this situation, others like it and the many times I saw their customers get dragged through the mud (I'll leave some of their stories on other platforms) has made LHG literally the only warranty company that we are forced to cut all ties with. Don't believe all of the 5 star reviews. To say they are bought would be a stretch....but bartered for, absolutely.
