I have been given the runaround for over a month about my washing machine. It has water sitting in the washing machine (due to the contractor) and its been sitting for over a month going on 2 months. My HOUSE SMELLS DISGUSTING because of this and everytime I call they say "oh I'll send an email and have a response in 24hours" it NEVER HAPPENS!!!! ive had to call them about 5 times a day just to get ahold of someone because the hold time is anywhere between 30mins- 1.5 hours that ive been on hold while at work. By the time they actually answer the contractor place is closed. I have a 3 month old baby and they know this and bc of the DISGUSTING SMELL we can't stay in the house and now Im having to pay for another place to stay while still paying for my house!!!!!!!! This is beyond ridiculous I honestly feel cheated!!!!!!!

They do NOT answer their customer service line! Ive called over 10 times trying to reach someone over the past couple of weeks and sat on the line for over 3 hours with NO one ever answering! They give a call back option but it just does a voicemail drop! I cannot even use the warranty that I paid for. NOT HAPPY.

RUN NOW CANCEL THIS COMPANY! We have been with this company for 3 years. We had an issue with our refrigerator. They have continuously send 3 contractors out to say this same thing 3 times. We haven’t had a refrigerator for a month. We try calling. We tried speaking to a managers. No one have help us. Horrible company.

This company is the worst when it comes to claims/repairs! I have been waiting since May for appliance repairs! I have a gas stove that doesn’t ignite on a burner as well as an oven that won’t stay on. I feel unsafe using it. Also with the Thanksgiving holiday approaching I will not be able to cook unless it is repaired. I have a refrigerator that leaks or over freezes and looks like the North Pole at times. When it’s not over freezing it is warm. I have lost foods due to this issue. They sent Sears home services to do the repairs but they keep on setting and then changing or canceling the appointments. Or just set an appointment and not show up! But 2-10 Home Warranty does not fail to debit the nearly $90 payments from my bank account monthly. Not to mention the $100 service call fees that I have paid to two different companies and still no repair! 2-10 and Sears Home Services both suck!!!

2-10 is terrible. Their contractors come out it seems just to collect your $100. Then, they are not allowed to actually fix the problem when they’re there. They need to call 2-10 to get authorization and then come back out at some point in the future to actually fix the issue. I’ve had various contractors out to my house 5 times and they’ve either not fixed the issue at all or took so long that I had to call an out of network contractor. Once my toilets didn’t flush for 5 days waiting on their plumber to get authorization from 2-10 before I bailed and called a real plumber. In addition, if you go out of network, they make YOU call them to get authorization to get a problem fixed and their hold times are insane. Today I was on hold for over 70 minutes! Seems the business model is: Collect your money. Don’t fix your problem (which will cost them). Understaff customer service to save on labor and create such pain from being on hold that inevitably some (most?) people will bail thus saving them money by not having to pay out for repairs. If you’re an investor, their business model probably works great. If you’re a customer, it’s terrible. F- for 2-10 Home Warranty.

2-10 has been the worst experience!!! I contacted them on numerous occasions to have my fridge repaired. It has taken them well around 3 weeks to meet this request and I have come out of pocket almost $200 for a service fee when they told me it would be waived. By far the worst customer service ever and you would be better off with another establishment. On top of that my fridge is still not fixed..

Honestly, I would give them 0 stars if I could. The two major claims I've made for broken stuff they wouldn't cover because of a technicality. First, a broken drain pan which they claimed wasn't a mechanical failure but was due to someone stepping on it or dropping something. The company they used quoted me $300 to fix it without the warranty. I called in another company and they fixed it within an hour for less than $100. And now, my AC goes out due to a broken part in the main unit. However, since they can't just replace that part and have to replace the whole unit the warranty won't cover it. Just utter garbage. Don't waste your money and find a company that will actually pay for your appliances when they break instead of giving you the run around and leaving you hanging when it comes time to actually pay.

Tried to call in to cancel my warranty. Was on hold for about 10 mins and then forced to leave a voicemail. Seemed strange that they would have a specific department for cancelations, that can only be done via phone, that no one is working. Called back in to get sales/renewals. Picked up on the first ring........That should tell you a lot about the priorities of this company. Oh the department that is customer service and sales, both state they can't help with a cancellation. So that's cool. Company does not care about helping you, they just want to make a quick buck.

They're a dishonest company, I submitted a claim and was approved for it. They sent down a company to fix the issue, but that company did nothing to fix the issue ( I later verified that the company is a scam), so after contacting 2-10 that the issue is not fixed they offered me a buyout option that I can hire my own contractor and they'll reimburse me the cost. After hiring my own contractor and laying out the money to fix the issue, I contacted 210 for the reimbursement, they gave me a run around for almost a month and then said that the agent who approved me for my reimbursement made a mistake and that they won't be covering my reimbursement. I advise anyone who is reading this feedback to run with your money to a trustworthy and honest company, don't waste your money on these liars and dishonest company. Trust me I spoke to a dozen of there agents, they're a bunch of liars and won't stand behind there word. A warranty company is based off trust, this company will take your money and not give you anything for it.

I am glad that was purchased by the previous owner of this house because i would not buy this! Water heater needs to be replaced. The tech comes out checks and says that they will submit, which they did and everything went nice and easy. They called and told me that it would cost me only $50 to get it replaced because of contract limitations. I was fine with that, however they could not get the part so they said that they would just payout for the claim and that we would have to get it taken care of. Mind you the plumbing company who was in contact with me the whole time, gave them options of water heaters to purchase so that they could get it fixed. So they are going to pay out $1150, of the $1250 cap that the contract has. I asked them why they are taking $100 off and they could not give me a clear answer. When the plumber came out, I had to pay 100$ service fee as my deductible for the claim. So why they now say that they take a 100 off I have not idea. The plumbing company gave us a quote of $2100 to get it fixed. So my $50 went to $1000. I don't understand a home warranty that can be purchased for something and it not cover it. It is more like a partial warranty at best and that's being generous. I would hate to have an A/C repair.

Had been a loyal customer that had only two small electrical claims in 8 years of coverage, netting a total cost savings of $200. After paying essentially the same rate with exception for marginal year on year increases, they have now increased my base coverage from $783 a year to $1,084 for the renewal year starting next month. This is a 28% year on year increase. I called customer "service" to inquire if this was a mistake and they deferred to their increased costs etc. I tried to reach sales department and ended up with the same overseas call "service" center who were deemed incapable of caring whether or not it could be reviewed further. Clearly the company that was once customer support focused it is clear it is now around ridiculously inflated increases -- 28% annual increase, in times when everyone is watching what they spend. I do not know if the company is under new management or otherwise, but thankfully I have secured an alternate offering even more benefits for less than I am paying now currently even before the ridiculously inflated gouging of trying to coerce customers to renew early only to find that the "free" washer/dryer coverage is smoke and mirrors to mask a 28% hike on base rate that still nets a 20% price hike even when factored in. I asked to speak to a supervisor and "none are available" and one will call you back, which never happened, points for consistency anyway. When the cost of customer retention vs attempted cost of acquisition are factored in, clearly there is no interest in loyal customers and as such time to move on. Good luck 2-10 and might want to review your process and service standards. I am sure others will get the same nice 28% price hike I did and simply deem this egregious rate hikes and questionable "tactics" to mask it under washer/dryer "early renewal promo are unacceptable. Since it seems impossible to speak to someone outside of an unempowered agent, outside of the "call center" wherever that may be, and lack of ability to speak to or escalate to someone to address these questions at noon EST on a Wednesday does not instill faith should I have an issue with a claim it would be handled any better. I even tried the chat function and after 5 minutes of "waiting for an available agent" decided I have wasted enough time on this.

I strongly advise against using this company. My experience has been nothing short of infuriating, especially during one of the most difficult times of my life. Reputable contractors consistently refused to work with them, and it became clear that the company will go to great lengths to avoid paying for repairs or replacements—even for covered appliances. If you're forced to go out of network just to find someone willing to show up, be prepared: you're unlikely to be reimbursed fairly. In my case, I paid $1,000 for a necessary repair and received just $200 in return. This process has been incredibly stressful and disheartening. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We had an awful experience with Ruffin Robinson LLC. After a washer repair, our ceiling flooded the very next day. When we called for help, the technician responded with extreme disrespect — accusing us of having a "Black attitude," saying he was "from the hood," telling us to "shut up," and refusing to come back to fix his work. We had to hire a water restoration company ourselves. They had to tear up carpet, remove padding, tile, and baseboards. We were forced to stay in 95-degree heat for a week with no option to stay elsewhere, leading to stress, sleep deprivation, and financial hardship. Clearly, 2-10 Home Warranty doesn’t care about the value of their customers because their mission statement and core values are not reflected in the people they hire to represent them as a company. This experience showed zero professionalism or care and violated every value a homeowner should expect. We are left with damage and ongoing costs, and my family felt unsafe in our own home.

Over the weekend, you cannot get ahold of them. Their phones are disconnected and you cannot start a new claim if you already have one going. Two weeks ago my A/C went out. I tried to go online to start a claim. There was already a claim open from the previous contractor who did not complete the claim process on my HVAC tune up. So this happened on a Friday. I could not get a hold of anybody until Monday morning at 8:00 o'clock when somebody finally answered the phone. Then I was able to get somebody to come out after it being two days with no A/C in Tucson Arizona at 90 degrees. Then I had to wait two more days until Wednesday when the contractor could finally make it out here, to then simply plug something back in that the previous contractor left unplugged. It would really be nice if people would call you back when they say they're going to call you back. I have asked customer service to call me back on two separate occasions and to speak with a supervisor, and I can't get a hold of anybody. But I guess it doesn't matter as long as they get my $110 every month, right? They always do what they say they're gonna do.

They don't get back with you. They're not very helpful. They were supposed to call me back even the other day and they never returned my call. I had a furnace upstairs that was not working. I called them and a person came out, they worked on it. A couple days later it wasn't working. That's when the next guy came out. The previous guy broke the water line from the top of the drain line and the man said it could not be repaired and I have to switch the whole unit out and I was able to fix it myself for $0.89. I called 2-10 and complained and complained they did nothing about it. They just say that there is somebody going to get back with you, then they changed the warranty. They try to avoid instead of really fixing things

2-10 cares more about their bottom line then making sure the customer receives quality products or gets the claims taken care of in a timely manner. I have a three year old dishwasher that does not get my dishes clean. The repair company recommended replacing it. 2-10 decided to replace the motor instead. This machine has never functioned correctly. I can only operate it half loaded. This costs me more money in utilities & detergent. 2-10 could care less. Unless the motor was faulty from the start I expect the same level of performance after the part is installed. It is now OCR. I put in the original service request in June or July, I can no longer remember.

I was charged $100 without the service being completed. Plumber showed up at 6:30 pm (window was 11 am to 5 pm). He did not have a tool with him. Never checked the issue just looked at the tub, never ran water, never seal overflow drain that had leaked in ceiling as reported in claim. Called Youngs Plumbing and they said he had a family emergency that's why he was like that. 210 said they scheduled Long Lane with no charge for following day. Waited all next day. No show. Long Lane closed claim without showing. I called 210 for my money back. Instead the girl put me on an endless hold and apparently scheduled a third vendor. I canceled as I wanted my $100 back at that point. Called several times and waited on endless holds. Still never resolved. I am owed $100. Providers responsibility in the contract was not met.

The overall impression is 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is very very good at taking the money, but very very bad at servicing the contract. Their customer service sucks. It's almost impossible to get through to them without waiting on hold for hours. Call backs are nonexistent, we suffered through over three weeks with no air conditioning in our home in the middle of the Texas summer. The errors are one hundred percent on the part of 2-10. We now have another claim in 2-10 that was made almost a month ago to repair our microwave. The microwave is still not functional although that early last week I did get an email from 2-10 stating that they had a crew to repair.

I'm not impressed with the service, I'm not happy with it. I had a problem with the microwave at my home and I called and scheduled an appointment and we had a technician from a nearby service provider come out to see the microwave and had to order the part. So we had to wait a few days and when the part came they came and fixed it and as soon as he fixed that he broke something else and then he told me that he was sorry for what happened and they would come back and replace it. It's been over three months and we haven't received a call back from them. When I called 2-10 Warranty they told me they were gonna follow up on that and since then I didn't get any feedback anymore.

Customer service is non existent and every year the price rises. I've had a pipe break under my home- they took days to get someone dispatched. In those waiting days the entire insulation to my home was destroyed. This is 9k worth of underbelly and insulation that MUST be replaced and we cannot afford it. This is why we have this warranty- to protect our home. Not let it sit failing for 4 days growing mold. Our crawl space is now openly exposed with our floors, plumbing and heating (all our full systems) open and sweating making our home wet and destroying its integrity. $120 per month for this.

I am in the process of a claim for a broken refrigerator. At one week without a refrigerator. The second service provider (the first one couldn't make their initial visit for a week) they sent recommended a replacement because of what is broken and the fact that this brand has a reputation of ongoing issues with this. 2-10 recommends a "sealed technician" to come out to verify. They have assigned three providers but, alas, none of them are sealed techs. 2-10 does not have a list of sealed techs, that THEY need to verify the claim. Now the dispatch department is searching for one for the past 48 hours. I could get the Yellow Pages and try to locate one but if I tell them I am trying, they STOP SEARCHING. I spend $110 a month for them to repair my appliances. Not sure how I could do it better than them. I will write another review when this is over. And, meanwhile, I have no refrigerator...

Called in my claim on a Sunday. I received a generated email stating they would get back with us. We received no further response. On Monday, we waited for a response all day, and then we put in another claim. We again received another computer generated email. We waited again on Tuesday. Then we made a phone call to an operator for 210. She told us someone would be in touch with us. That never happened. Called again Wednesday; we were given the name of a contractor. He arrived Thursday evening. They gave him instructions to assess and advise. He did not do any repairs that night. I called them back Friday. We had to repeatedly call them Friday so the contractor could get our work done. They called me at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon to tell me the repair would not be covered. We weren't really upset that the repair was not covered, but that 210 had an uncaring attitude towards our wait time of 5 days waiting on an AC repair. The AC was sporadic the first few days of this and then went out completely. Five days of waiting and poor communication made for a long week.

I'm still waiting for either a washing machine or buy out, My claim was started in May to 10 dictated who they would send out diagnose the problem said it wasn't fixable yet to 10 decided to order a part on eBay so I had to take a day off work so they can come out and fix it and it wasn't fixable then I get an email to choose between a washing machine or a payout I chose the washing machine then they sent a unit that wasn't matching and took it back and now are charging me for the restocking fee can never speak to anybody that knows anything that's going on in the claim and when you do the twist everything around as if it's your fault

2-10's coverage of claims filed is the most ridiculous thing I've ever encountered. Nothing is covered and you won't see any money reimbursed for any kind of work done to your home from an issue that comes up. The entire purpose of a warranty is to have your home covered in the event that something goes wrong. Every time something goes wrong, 2-10 finds a loophole or simply doesn't pay to help keep your home whole. On top of that, you have to spend at least 2 hours on hold to be told you're not getting any money. Getting a 2-10 hone warranty is the worst thing someone can do. Throughout each home I've owned and had 2-10 as a home warranty provider, I've filed 5 claims for substantial items and probably received a combined $100 from 2-10 and I paid for the rest.

I have put in 3 work requests, one I had to cancel, but the other two were for a pretty significant leak from my AC unit. I live in a condo on the 2nd floor, and would hate for water damage to happen to my condo or my neighbor below me, and the company didn't seem very concerned with this because the companies they have contracts with are either too busy or just don't want to deal with home warranties, I got maybe one phone call, after having 3 to 4 different companies assigned to my case. Very poor. I finally had to call someone on my own to come out, they answered when we called and came the same day. Amazing, maybe 2-10 should find better companies.

This company is not user friendly nor equipped to hassle a Multifamily property. The disconnect from the agent sale/set up to actual claim process was a disaster. I've spent countless hours since September 2021 on the phone, from on-boarding to filing different claims. Eject I've asked for help from the tech department I've gotten bounced back and forth from agent services to customer service. When requesting Escalations or Supervisor, that process takes forever and so does ordering parts and vendor timeliness. Maybe a single family home would have been a better experience but their stab at getting into the multi family space was a poor try.

Absolute garbage experience. I've had a broken oven with an open work order since August of 2021. This is a covered appliance in my plan. The item they have offered to replace it with has been on back order since then. I've asked multiple times to just get a different replacement, but they refuse to allow that and only offer me a cash value that is half the cost to replace the appliance. I've tried escalating the issue, no one ever responds. It's the same story every time you talk to their customer service. They apologize for the inconvenience, but fail to remedy the issue that's been going on for 8 months. I was told the item would be in stock March 22nd of 2022. When I called today (April of 2022) the informed me the item would be out of stock until June. Same BS again. No one is willing to help you. They pass you from department to department and are always apologetic, but apologies don't fix my broken oven. Absolute garbage. I have never hated a company more, not even the cable company. If that doesn't speak volumes, then nothing will.

I needed to use my warranty about two and a half weeks ago due to my furnace is going out and two weeks without heat my house was at 51 degrees and 2-10 simply just told me that it was nothing that they can do until they determine if they were going to fix the parts on my furnace or order me a new furnace. So it took them about a week to come up with that decision then they put the order in and it took another week for someone to come out to fix it so that was two whole weeks that I went without heat and 2-10 didn't compensate or anything. Their policy does not care about the customers. I am counting the days until I cancel them.

I had to use my home warranty and I had four small gas leaks definitely and they told me that it would be three days before they could get someone out to fix the gas leaks and that was unacceptable to me because I had four gas leaks definitely I do have the gas turned off. It was twenty degrees out I was worried about my pipes freezing, so I had to get approval to have out of network and I got reimbursed a hundred twenty hundred thirty dollars out of a seven hundred dollar cost to fix my pipe so I was very discouraged with two ten home warranty. Because that's not an emergency to them nothing is an emergency does she have home warranty their emergency and my emergency are two different things. Customer service is very poor.

This warranty company is the worst warranty company I've ever dealt with. First of all they will company out to provide services which they will either take your service fees and claim they need to come back and do the job because of whatever reason they couldn't finish the job at that time. But they will never come back to finish the job leaving the issues undone and when you call the warranty company asking for another company to come to finish the unfinished job they say the customer has to pay another service fee. Which I feel is not good customer service. If you customer is telling you that the job was unfinished you should send another company out to finish the job without asking them to pay another service fee.

Very terrible. There was a simple leak came from my pipe through my garbage disposal under my sink kitchen sink. Its covered under there, but once the plumber got here he looked and he told me that a certain piece was missing in a certain area and to ten said that even through my premium coverage there's a little exclusionary thing that says that if its one specific thing they're not going to cover it. Then they charged me a service fee and I had to pay a bunch of money out of pocket get it fixed. They didn't do anything for me. The only time they've ever helped me they took forever to help me and it's been like a huge, huge pain. I have called many many times and sent many emails arguing with multiple people before they actually do their jobs. Very negative.

The first couple of times I tried to reach them, I literally was on hold for almost 3 hours. They don't have an email for customer service, either you put in a service request through their very limited portal or you don't get service. There is no way to contact anyone to get questions answered or for specific issues. Most recently I put in a service request for my refrigerator and they scheduled an appt within 2 days, but the service company called me to let me know that appt is not scheduled and they can't come out for 2 1/2 weeks. In the meantime all of my food is going bad, so I had to call another company and pay for them to come this week. I have found this home warranty service to be pretty useless and will not be renewing.

Okay we have had a couple of claims open for three months that are not solved yet. And the last time I tried to contact to 2-10 customer service to follow up, I waited online for 1 and a half hours and I have a proof of this. And then the line hung up on me and 2-10 is not trying to help in any of my claims. My AC has not been working for three months and 2-10 responded but they didn't followed up. They didn't finish the job and the other three months old claim is not solved yet. The dishwasher on my other home hasn't been fixed or replaced even though we did everything 2-10 asked to facilitate the fixing or replacing our dishwasher.

I had a problem with my washing machine and called 2-10 about this issue. They informed me that there would be a local repair facility calling me to schedule a time to come out within the next day. I waited a 2 dasys and finally I contacted 2-10 to find out what was happening. They then informed me that the 2 shops they work with in my area could not do it do it for whatever reason and then told me I needed to find someone to come out and they would reemburse me the ampount chrged because I had to find someone myself. I found a company, had them come repair the washer, and then then followed there instructions on submitting the receipt for reimbursement. They declined to pay me the full amount I was charged, and told me they had never approved for me to get someone on my own. The whole experience was a nightmare, and the manager I spoke with from 2-10 was very unprofessional and rude. Bottom line is, they were unable to help when I needed them to and then refused to honor the agreement in reference to the terrible predicament they put me in.

My experience has been very negative and it's kind of frustrating right now. It's just not worth the hassle. I've had some issues for three to four months that hadn't been resolved. They have kind of incompetent suppliers that do their fixes for the appliances and such. For instance, we have a dishwasher that someone's come out and looked at four or five times and ordered a multitude of parts for unnecessarily. We're still kind of at square one without things being fixed, so we're pretty pissed off. There have been miscommunications between the third parties and 2-10, and it has taken a while to fix it, going back and forth between them until they realized they ordered the wrong parts. The people they send out don't abide by Covid rules that they publish on their website and don't really solve issues.

I have submitted a request to be reimbursed and have not been so for months it wasn’t until I called and initiated defined out why that I found out they were missing one document from the service or who I reached out to contacted received and uploaded to their website and still have not received a check for outside vendors. I also currently have been waiting seven weeks to get my washing machine we have gone through three different companies they’ve sent to us yet no one comes back to finish the work. These are all servicers recommended through them. Customer service is nice when I call but no action is really taken to help me they just reschedule someone else. So overall very disappointed in this warranty and as soon as it’s up I will be going with another company.

Just after moving in to our brand new home with our new appliances package warranty, bought by the sellers, our brand new Frigidaire dishwasher did not work. The company refused to replace or repair the dishwasher stating that the dishwasher did not work when we moved in and therefore was not covered. When we questioned and brought up the fact that the inspector had ran the dishwasherPrior to us getting closing on the loan we were told that our inspector had no appliance license and could not vouch for it working and because I told them that the dishwasher did not work when we first ran it after moving in and taking ownership of the home they did not honor the warranty for.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option, I have been without air conditioning for 20 days. We have been told different things from each person we spoke to, spent hours on the phone, and on old for the last 20 days, and the is still no end in sight because today when they finally came to replace ac, they had wrong parts and now the warranty won’t authorize so we still don’t have ac while our region is over 100 degrees and having excessive heat warnings. This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of giving money.

I’m clicking one star because no stars is not an option. Absolutely the worst decision we have made is using 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. This past winter we noticed our electric bill was way too high. We contacted 2-10 HBW to get someone out to look at our heater. The company (selected by 2-10 HBW) had no website we could review. The selected HVAC repair came out, claimed he had fixed the problem. Long story short 2-10 HBW selected HVAC repair men came out at least 6 times and never fixed the problem, we ended up coming out of pocket for a new HVAC system. A few weeks later we had a water leak in our pipes in the back yard. We had to shut off our water, so we had no water. When we requested a plumber through 2-10 HBW website we got no response for several days, so we called them. They stated that they could not find one of “their plumbers in the area who had availability “ but that I could reach out to an outside contractor and send 2-10 the invoice. Of a plumbers bill for $482.00, 2-10 HBW only paid $100.00. We have had nothing but problems with 2-10 HBW and the so called techs they send to our house. So far we have come out of pocket over $11,000.00. We pay around $90.00 a month and have for more than a year and we end up coming out of pocket 75-100% on all repairs. Good advice, what ever you would pay 2-10 put in savings and pay for repairs yourself. Your going to anyway.

Fraud company. I have been dealing with this company for past 2 months for a single cooktop. The customer service tries to be really nice over the phone but you will not receive no services what so ever. I have left a review on google as well and received a message from the owner, so far I have not received no services. I have been eating outside because I don't have cooktop to prepare food. waste of money and do not rely on them. their technicians have no clue what they're doing and they all have lack of knowledge about repairing. They play with you to delay paying for the new appliance and make you tired at some point and you give up.

Most things are not covered. It’s very easy to request a service but my experience was a huge waste of money. The first time I called was about my air conditioner and did NOT have a problem. It was the second time I had a problem. I requested service for a leaking bathroom faucet, that took awhile to have a service call, then they came out for 5 minutes and fixed NOTHING but I still had to pay the $100 service fee!! That completely was a waste of money!! My money!!

On 6/2/2023 I placed a service order for my A/C and no one never reached back however, I made a call to the company that was assigned to me, and they told me that they will have to look at their schedule and get with me on 6/5 this unacceptable and I have been having problems with everyone that this company has sent me.And now my A/C is not working, and I am in misery..Very unhappy customer
