Honestly I don’t know how this company is still in business. My experience with them has been absolutely awful. My claim has been sitting with no movement for nearly 2 months. Want to call and ask what’s happening? You’ll get an automated message that says they “are experiencing high call volume and are unable to take your call” and it will hang up. Want to check the website for a status update? No information. I have a screenshot of when I was actually able to wait in hold instead of it auto hanging up and I was on hold for 2 HOURS before I finally gave up and ended the call myself. This has been months of this. Do yourself a favor and find a different warranty company. My realtor recommended this company and has felt so bad about the service we have gotten from 2-10 that she has sent us an apology note with a gift card to try and help cover the expense of fixing a covered issue our self

I have been a customer for 7 years. I have never filed a claim before. This is my first time filing a claim for my stove top I have been going back and forth with this company for MONTHS now to get this handled. In 7 years I have paid for 2-3 stoves by now. Never late! I filed a claim for my stove top this one time, not even a whole new stove. They sent an adjuster out, then the company claimed they don't have photos he took. I then sent in photos and the representative I was on the phone with claimed she received them. I was told a manager would call me. After waiting for a week of course no one contacted me. I then had to call back (each time I call its 1 hr wait time to speak with someone) That representative claims no photos where received. I sent more photos directly for them to tell me another department has to review it. I have gotten a different answer each time I have called in here. Every time a manager is supposed to call me back nobody does. This company has been giving me the run around for months. It is so easy to make the monthly bill payment but when its time for a claim, this company does not make it easy, convenient, or their pleasure. All that has been done is me taking hours out of my day to stay on hold and get bounced around from department to department. This is literally the worst service I have ever experieneced. Im so disappointed in my experience. Im sure this review means nothing since I was told that there is no way to speak to a manager unless they call you, but since that never happen I won't expect much. Hopefully this helps anyone considering this company.

I have had 2-10 for about 7 years now and will not be renewing after my most recent transaction. We had a plumbing leak which damaged ceiling and wall drywall. It was very minimal and happened on a Friday night. As with every claim you have to wait until next business day usually before you even get contacted and then you are at the scheduling mercy of the service company they select. Due to existing damage and desire to mitigate any further damage we wanted reasonably to get the repair going as soon as possible. The good news is 2-10 does allow you to hire your own contractor with a pre-approved limit minus your deductible. Bad news is that limit isn't enough to do any work, $200 for plumbing. You then have to call to get that price increased if the quoted repair will cost more, which it will for plumbing. Our plumber came out on a Saturday (next day) to diagnose as we called it in late Friday night. Discovered the pipe break in the wall for a $129 diagnostic fee which seemed reasonable. Quoted repair to replace 2 inch copper pipe was $600, also reasonable. I tried calling 2-10 while plumber was there to get increased approval. No answer after two tries Saturday and three tries Sunday. I approved the plumber to repair on Sunday and paid the invoice. Monday I am able to speak to 2-10 and the initial rep denies all payment because I approved the repair. I advised that this wasn't acceptable as I was already pre-approved for $200 and they were not available to make approvals. He came back stating they would reimburse the $129 minus our $100 service fee. I again stated that was unacceptable and asked for a supervisor. After waiting about 10 minutes they advised they would call back. I received a call a few hours later and the supervisor conceded they would reimburse the full $200 but could not give anymore because my pipe was in the wall. Little did I know you have to pay extra for the concealed coverage. Ridiculous as all houses have some concealed pipe. My two cents.....consumers buy these warranties so that when something happens the cost is mitigated and the effort to resolve is minimal. If you want a timely repair for something, which we all do, you have to set things up yourself. And don't do anything over the weekend as 2-10 apparently holds banker hours and will not assist. Lastly don't get fooled with their cheaper plans, because small technicalities like concealed pipe may put the cost on you anyway. I will be shopping our warranty for someone with 7 days a week support and one that covers all pipes, not just those that are exposed. If it was exposed I could repair it.

I have been a 2 10 customer for more than two decades. When I call about a service it is repaired in a timely manner. If I have a problem or concern with the service technician and contact 2 10 the immediately remedy the problem and send a new technician out to remedy the problem and I do not have to pay a second service call fee. I will continue to use 2 10.

Overall, this is a good warranty company. I have had prompt service and follow up when needed. My issue is with the policy of paying companies multiple times for coming out after misdiagnosis of the issue. There’s a limit to how much each repair or replacement can cost. The repair visits are deducted from that amount. In my case, the company came three times and finally decided it couldn’t be repaired. Why wasn’t this diagnosed on the first visit and if not why does the consumer bear the cost? This company’s ineptitude cost me 200.00 of my limit, leaving me with next to nothing on the policy to replace it. A better practice would be to have the company absorb the cost if the misdiagnosis of the problem or they fail to properly repair the appliance on the first visit. Otherwise, it’s an incentive for them not to do it right, if they can run up the charges. I don’t ever want them to refer that company to me again for repair of my appliances.

I love my 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty It has been Great, but unfortunately like everything else the premiums are going way up . I pay for a warranty for our daughters home and ours. Hers just renewed over $30.00 more a month if mine goes up that much in December I will have to rethink keeping it. $60.00 more a month is going to be very hard in this economy. Thankfully she never had to use it in the last year, but we did twice on the Fridge and Microwave. So I am worried about the price increase.

My experience with the repair service for my washing machine was overall positive. Initially, there was a noise issue which was fixed by replacing the tumbler. However, shortly after, a leak occurred and a connection needed replacement. It was a bit challenging to schedule two repairmen due to the nature of the repair, but once it was done, there were no more issues with noise or leaks. The vendor provided good service throughout the process.

Just recently, our dishwasher broke down, and the service technician arrived promptly as scheduled. I paid my deductible, and although there was a slight delay in getting the parts, that wasn't the fault of 2-10 Home Buyers or the warranty company. When the parts arrived, the technician came out and fixed the dishwasher as promised, and the process went smoothly. Overall, I had a positive experience with the service provided.

I have had multiple positive experiences with the 2-10 Home Warranty program. Shortly after purchasing my house, the furnace and air conditioning system failed, but the warranty covered the full repair. Applying for the warranty was simple and everyone at the company has been very friendly. Overall, I highly recommend 2-10 Home Warranty for their excellent service and ease of use.

I had to use my warranty not very long ago because my ice maker wasn't working in my refrigerator. And so I went online and they have a portal set up online for homeowners. I logged in, put in all the required information, and as soon as I hit submit, within like 5 minutes, I got a message back and email telling me that my request had been submitted to a contractor.

I needed to use it for my HVAC, and we called somebody to come and fix it. And it took a few days to get out. And then after they finally made it out, even within a 2 weeks time span, the HVAC was still not working, and it was over a hundred degrees outside. And it was very hot inside and it was during the summertime. So it was not a good experience. But they did write off on me to get a private company to come out and fix the problem. And of course, I had to pay the $89 fee and about $300 out of pocket to get it repaired. However, the actual repair would have cost about $1,500. So it just saved me, you know, about $1,300 in the end. I have another one with my oven, but they gave me the option to get it fixed or give me money to actually just purchase a new one. So it was like a heavy discount. They gave me money to actually get a new one.

It's pretty convenient. When I first moved into my new home, the dishwasher started malfunctioning, and I had to get a new dishwasher because the dishes just were not cleaning. It took a few times where the guys that come out to service it, but ultimately I wound up getting a replaced dishwasher. You can easily log in online to file a claim. Usually get a response within 24 hours. And the service has always been positive so far. I've referred two of my friends who have purchased warranties as well.

The most recent time was when I had some problems with my air conditioner. And at first, they came out and did some things which didn't solve the problem. So the same fella came out. They went ahead and found out that I needed, I believe it was a compressor or something like that. It was all he came out and took care of it. And it's been working fine since. The claims process went very smoothly. The company was on top of it, and they kept me in the loop as to what was going on.

We had our kitchen oven fail and 2-10 Home Warranty has agreed to replace it. They need to improve the people in their call center. One of the people I spoke to could barely speak English and I didn't speak her language. So we weren't able to communicate. And I just got frustrated and had to hang up. But other than that, the people that I have spoken to there generally have been helpful.

It was related to replacing a water heater, you know. They contacted the first plumber. This was just before the end of the year, and the first plumber sent out to look at it, and they wrote up kind of an estimate. But then they said they couldn't do the work until the beginning of the year, which would have been about 2 weeks later. So then I asked them 2-10 to route it to a different one, and they routed it to another one and immediately came over.

I had a broken garbage disposal. They came, they asked beforehand what model it was, and they replaced it immediately. They had the parts readily and available. I would say that they are very convenient. I do very much like their portal which makes it very easy for me to contact them or to submit a claim. They do contact really good contractors, and they're true to their word. We've had them for about 3 years now, and we will continue to pay for them.

Very good home warranty company. Always responsive when I have an issue and there is never any problem in filing a claim or getting someone to come out. I also like that they offer the option of getting a $150 rebate on a new appliance in lieu of having the old appliance repaired. I highly recommend 2-10 if you’re in the market for a home warranty company.

They're quick, as far as I'm concerned. I had a water issue. And they contacted somebody out of Tucson, they said they were coming, but they didn't show up. I got a hold of them, 'cause that's what I was told to do. They said they don't pay like they're supposed to and it's too far away. So I had to try to find somebody locally myself. So that didn't please me very much because 2-10 couldn't find anybody locally. But I don't think it's 2-10's problem. I think that it's people's work ethic problem, in that they can hardly find people to do the work for them locally.

I needed a repair done and it took me three phone calls to find out that my call had been dropped or completed or closed out. But Rick, the guy that does the plumbing, is awesome, he's great. That's all I can say. He's awesome, he's great, and I'm thankful that he's on your team. But you guys are doing great. I appreciate your services and I thank you very much. One more thing is, we can write checks to the company, as I prefer that over cash. There was one service guy that said that he wanted cash and not a check and I didn't like that at all.
