Just recently, our dishwasher broke down, and the service technician arrived promptly as scheduled. I paid my deductible, and although there was a slight delay in getting the parts, that wasn't the fault of 2-10 Home Buyers or the warranty company. When the parts arrived, the technician came out and fixed the dishwasher as promised, and the process went smoothly. Overall, I had a positive experience with the service provided.

I had to use my warranty not very long ago because my ice maker wasn't working in my refrigerator. And so I went online and they have a portal set up online for homeowners. I logged in, put in all the required information, and as soon as I hit submit, within like 5 minutes, I got a message back and email telling me that my request had been submitted to a contractor.

I needed to use it for my HVAC, and we called somebody to come and fix it. And it took a few days to get out. And then after they finally made it out, even within a 2 weeks time span, the HVAC was still not working, and it was over a hundred degrees outside. And it was very hot inside and it was during the summertime. So it was not a good experience. But they did write off on me to get a private company to come out and fix the problem. And of course, I had to pay the $89 fee and about $300 out of pocket to get it repaired. However, the actual repair would have cost about $1,500. So it just saved me, you know, about $1,300 in the end. I have another one with my oven, but they gave me the option to get it fixed or give me money to actually just purchase a new one. So it was like a heavy discount. They gave me money to actually get a new one.

It's pretty convenient. When I first moved into my new home, the dishwasher started malfunctioning, and I had to get a new dishwasher because the dishes just were not cleaning. It took a few times where the guys that come out to service it, but ultimately I wound up getting a replaced dishwasher. You can easily log in online to file a claim. Usually get a response within 24 hours. And the service has always been positive so far. I've referred two of my friends who have purchased warranties as well.

The most recent time was when I had some problems with my air conditioner. And at first, they came out and did some things which didn't solve the problem. So the same fella came out. They went ahead and found out that I needed, I believe it was a compressor or something like that. It was all he came out and took care of it. And it's been working fine since. The claims process went very smoothly. The company was on top of it, and they kept me in the loop as to what was going on.

One of the people I spoke to could barely speak English and I didn't speak her language. So we weren't able to communicate. And I just got frustrated and had to hang up. But other than that, the people that I have spoken to there generally have been helpful.

It was related to replacing a water heater, you know. They contacted the first plumber. This was just before the end of the year, and the first plumber sent out to look at it, and they wrote up kind of an estimate. But then they said they couldn't do the work until the beginning of the year, which would have been about 2 weeks later. So then I asked them 2-10 to route it to a different one, and they routed it to another one and immediately came over.

I had a broken garbage disposal. They came, they asked beforehand what model it was, and they replaced it immediately. They had the parts readily and available. I would say that they are very convenient. I do very much like their portal which makes it very easy for me to contact them or to submit a claim. They do contact really good contractors, and they're true to their word. We've had them for about 3 years now, and we will continue to pay for them.

They're quick, as far as I'm concerned. I had a water issue. And they contacted somebody out of Tucson, they said they were coming, but they didn't show up. I got a hold of them, 'cause that's what I was told to do. They said they don't pay like they're supposed to and it's too far away. So I had to try to find somebody locally myself. So that didn't please me very much because 2-10 couldn't find anybody locally. But I don't think it's 2-10's problem. I think that it's people's work ethic problem, in that they can hardly find people to do the work for them locally.

I needed a repair done and it took me three phone calls to find out that my call had been dropped or completed or closed out. But Rick, the guy that does the plumbing, is awesome, he's great. That's all I can say. He's awesome, he's great, and I'm thankful that he's on your team. But you guys are doing great. I appreciate your services and I thank you very much. One more thing is, we can write checks to the company, as I prefer that over cash. There was one service guy that said that he wanted cash and not a check and I didn't like that at all.

A phone is a difficult way to reach out to them, but I had a situation where what was thought to be fixed wasn't, and it was a little difficult to get to a phone person, a live person. But other than that, the issue was handled the following day. There was a part that he had to search for and he just called me today and will be at my earliest convenience to replace it.

The HVAC person that came out, TJ, came to check my air conditioner and give me some feedback on that. I thought he was really, really good. So much so that I chose him to install my new air conditioner, that's how much I trusted him because I thought he was a good fellow and gave me good information. Navigating online and trying to get somebody on the phone is a little difficult.

I put in what I needed for warranty services and they scheduled immediately and had the people come out to fix the item. Our ice maker broke in our refrigerator so I put in the request to have it completed. They initiated the service and the company that was doing the servicing called quickly. They came out, checked to see what the problem was, ordered the new part, came back out and installed it, and everything was good to go.

It was part of when I bought the house. It was offered because the home is old, but I'm going to carry it next year after the warranty ends. They have listened to my problems, my feedback, and tried to solve the problem for me. Our AC went out in April and the company that came out said they needed to get a part for it. So we had to get a new company to come out because the old company kept on ghosting us and never came out to fix it. But the new company came out and fixed it within less than an hour.

Superior customer support. I never had a situation that I called for that didn't get handled in a prompt manner. I've heard of other people having different warranty companies and the horror stories behind that so I'm very pleased with 2-10 Warranty. I needed to use my warranty because my in home built microwave went out and they sent somebody right over within a week to inspect it and found out that it was no good. Told me to go out and purchase one, which I did. They installed that one for me and reimbursed me the money I spent for the microwave.

Everything went well. I went online and then I received those emails letting me know that they were coming out to my house, who it was, and when they'll be there. And then I got the call from the the contractor. I only paid a $100 deductible and the gentleman who did the service did a great job. He was very professional and quick about the service and I think the value was good for $100. The part and the labor would probably be more.

It's expensive, but putting in a new air conditioning unit is expensive. I've had really good service. I think it's been five years that I've had the warranty. There's been a couple of years when I haven't had to use them, but when I've needed them, they've been there for me. They replaced a whole air conditioning unit and it cost me $100.00, so I would highly recommend them. They always follow up just to make sure that everything's done.

It's been good so far and we'll probably keep it. We did have one claim that we put through not too long ago and it was set up pretty fast. So when our air conditioner stopped working, it was probably about a month ago when we put in a claim and I believe it was on like a Thursday or Friday and we had someone out Monday to take a look at it. Everything other than the $75 initial surcharge was covered.

I've tried them and they really showed up when we needed them most. It was on the 15th, on a weekend, when the air conditioner in the house broke down. I went online and put in the application. We had to wait two days. Monday I called the office and found out it was already assigned to a contractor but they couldn't show up because it was a weekend. Tuesday the contractor came before I got back from work. Really astounding to me.

When we have gone through 2-10 they've been really good to contact a contractor or whoever they had to contact to come out and and help us. We haven't used them that many times. When our A/C went out on the 4th of July weekend one year, they were actually very quick to try and get somebody out here. Even though it took two or three calls to get somebody here in a day or two, they were on top of it. It's changed over the years. They don't cover as much as they used to cover and their prices have gone up quite a bit over the years we've had them. So I was kind of disappointed in reading what they cover now because there were quite a few things that they had dropped off the list.

One of my A/C units went out. I called them and they told me I could get my own provider because theirs was like two to three weeks out. I did, everything was fine, and I submitted it. A couple weeks later I got a check. The check was a little short, I think they still owe me $30. Other than that it was fine. I haven't had a chance to call them and address it. Could you ask them to let me know about the payment owed to me or do I got a call?

They're very responsive. I've had to file several claims since we moved in and they get back to me right away. They assign someone to handle the issue and they do good follow up. The first time was due to air conditioner that we thought was leaking. The second time was one of our garage door opener cables broke. And the third time was what we thought was a plumbing issue but it turned out not to be a plumbing issue. But all three times someone responded very quickly and came out to assess the situation and told us what needed to be done.

We've purchased homeowners warranties with them for several other houses and we've always been happy with their service. They've done everything I asked them to do. The warranty's fine. I can tell you about the last time I used it, which was a few weeks ago, on one of my HVAC units. The air conditioning stopped working completely. We have an upstairs unit and a downstairs unit. The upstairs stopped working and I called and turned it in and they sent someone out and he was a very nice man. He came out and when he was leaving the problem was fixed or appeared to be fixed and then about an hour later it quit working again. So I called him back and still he was very nice and he came out first thing the next morning and he worked on it again and when he left it was working and then about 8 hours later it quit again. So I had to re-initiate a claim with 2-10 and several days went by and they sent someone else out who has apparently managed to fix it because it's been working now for a week or so.

They always come through in one way, shape, or form to deal with the issue. I think it was 2 January of 2015 or '14. It was really cold, like a high of 19 degrees here in Hinesville and our HVAC unit went out. I called up 2-10 warranty. The guy came out and seemed to have fixed it for a little bit, the heat worked for like a day. Then it went out again. I called 2-10 again. They found a different person to come out and they came out and they actually said the unit has got to be replaced. And and I was like, well, let's go ahead and do this, whatever 2-10 covers. And so I paid a certain amount and I had a new unit. I think it was $900 where it would have been 6000 without 2-10 warranty. So that really helped our family that winter.

Excellent customer service. They've always called to give you the information of the people, I don't have to look it up online again. But the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like there's hidden fees. My impression was that I pay once a year the 800, 900, and then when they call out I pay 85. But when I have put in orders 50% of the time there is an issue that has to be worked on and then they say well you have to pay 125 in addition to the $85. So I don't think that's fair. I think those are hidden fees. So for instance like a water heater. I had to have a water heater replaced. I did not realize that I had to wait like a period of 60 days or something before they would fix anything. Even though I already paid the money ahead, I had to wait. So things like that, that I don't feel like were advertised and that I had to wait on. So that's why I don't have 100% satisfaction. But does everything get fixed? Generally yes, and for a reasonable price.

When we were selling a rental property, our agent gave us a 2-10 warranty to cover the house from the time of listing until closing. Two minor appliance issues surfaced during the buyers' home inspection and 2-10 got these things fixed prior to our closing. Their customer service was excellent. They even offered to provide a letter of commitment to repair the appliances if necessary after our closing date, which gave great assurance to the buyers. However, the contractor actually got them fully repaired the day before our closing.

I don't like that when some of the contracted companies do poor business and they continue to keep the contract. If I complain to you about a company, as a paying customer, and you being grateful for my business, should follow up with that complaint; and hold that contracted company accountable. Also, I feel like a company shouldn't say they will accept the job order if they can't get anybody out within 24 to 48hrs of the acceptance. Then they shouldn't be able to accept the job.

I'd used my warranty for my air conditioner and I was able to make a claim and there were no issues, no argument, no fighting, nothing that normally happens when you deal with a warranty company or even an insurance company. The company sent out a contractor immediately and was able to diagnose it, let us know what's happening, and also gave us a timeline of what to expect. 2-10 was responsive and understood the suffering we had to go through because we didn't have anything. Definitely ahead of the game and we're really happy to be customers.

I had to have my dryer replaced a few months ago. They came, they serviced it 4 times and it kept having the same issue. I had a Samsung dryer, so they replaced it and gave me a great GE dryer that I happened to really like. No problems, they were right on top of it. When they realized it couldn't get fixed, they offered right away just to replace it.

The last time that I used my warranty, it was related to a plumbing issue and so I called them and they immediately connected us to a vendor and they could not resolve the issue. So they sent it back to 210 and they properly connected us with another plumber that could resolve the issue. They were always available to answer any questions that I had, they talked me through how I needed to do it online and they were just always available. It was very professional and courteous.

I had to get customer support for the vinyl that was torn and I didn't know like what the name and brand was. I reached out to them to try to get a hold of the builder to figure out what it was and even though it was beyond the warranty, they were able to reach out to the builder and the builder was able to relay that information to me. They were still able to get that communication going.

Whenever something goes wrong, within 24 hours there on the money and I don't and I don't mind the small $75 charge. It was $50 when it started, but it went up to 75. I used my warranty was when my air conditioner went went down and and I call home warranty they sent somebody out and they needed the compressor and they had to order it and and and eventually they they received it and as soon as they received it they came and put it in.

I've never had an issue. They don't want anything to go wrong. My A/C wasn't blowing, or I guess it was out of refrigerant. At the end they told me that it needed to be flushed and stuff and I literally put in the request at like 3 in the morning and they had somebody out there like within like 4 to 5 hours, as soon as they opened. It took them no time to fix it and obviously I just paid my little deductible and then that was it.

They are very efficient, very quick. The service has been great, so I have nothing negative to say about it. My A/C was about to overflow. So I called and let them know and they come out and got it up and running again and I have the same issue the second time and apparently they just there was another part that he missed that needed fixed also that was plugged up and so he come back out the second time and did it very quickly too. Very satisfied. As soon as I put in the claim I get a text right away and the the guy that's coming is very quick to get back with me.

Great customer service by 2-10. Often not so great customer service by the assigned technicians (often long waiting times). The technicians can say the greatest nonsense, and you can have the greatest arguments and even proof, yet 2-10 will always go with the technician information. Now, that is not a bad thing per se, but in some cases it is blocking the real solution. E.g. I am an engineer myself, and it took us almost 10 years to get a repeatedly overheating dryer fixed, because the technician insisted on a blocked vent as cause, but refused to check, but also refused to accept our own investigation (it was never blocked). When the control board finally broke completely and had to be replaced, suddenly everything worked normally again. Until then we always had to set it to low temperatures. But some assigned technicians were really fast and worked well. Then there are some silly small things that are suddenly not supported (like a condense water sensor switch in the AC - the biggest things can break and will be replaced, but not the small, cheap little parts; I consider this to be crazy). So, it is kind of a roulette game. But mostly you win.

I like the peace of mind you get knowing that your home is covered from minor issues that may occur but from the 7 years that I have been using this product I think the prices have been going up I almost decided to go with a different company but because of my loyalty and I wasn't really disappointed I decided to stay. Each time I've called they've gone to great lengths to assist me and to get me to the right the right person. The last time I used my warranty was for a refrigerator repair and I was assigned a contractor who came in and he repaired it but he left off a part so couple of months later the refrigerator was having a different problem. They called me a new contractor and eventually I got it resolved in two visits from the new contractor. He had to purchase parts and so now my refrigerator is working fine.

I like the way because they explain things to you. They don't talk all over you. They give you a chance to ask the questions and they give you the answer to the best of their abilities. They are consistent and they do just what they say. They stay right with it until the job is done. They make sure they send updates to let you know what company is doing the work and how long it's gonna be before you get your your equipment to get your things fixed.

I've dealt with people that I feel very comfortable with, that are knowledgeable. I think it's pretty cost efficient. Whenever I put in tickets for repairs, I always get prompt responses. And so far the repair companies that have been sent are good. They notify me when they're coming. I can check online where in the process my ticket is, if it has it been assigned and if the ticket still open. I can track it. Everybody's been been kind to answer questions and responsive. They text me when they're on their way.

I haven't had any problem with the people that they sent to my home. I used it for our dryer and they replaced the parts in the dryer and then a couple of years later I had to do it for the washer and that wasn't able to be fixed, so they gave me money for the new one. They answered all my questions, got things done that I needed done, and even when I couldn't get on the Internet to fill out, they helped me through that too. I'm very pleased with them. I've been with them for seven years now.

They were very reliable. Whenever I had encountered any issue, they were there, they were available and the problem was resolved in a timely manner. Yesterday I used it. We had a technician come out this week because the garage door needed to be replaced and the technician was wonderful. He scheduled the appointment while I spoke to him. He came on time, he did the job, he was prompt and the quality was great. Everything can be done online, it's very convenient to me.

It would be helpful if they had shorter wait times on the phone. I have used it twice and one time was for a water heater which was kind of a complicated situation that they ended up helping us quite a bit and the only reason it was complicated is because of where the water heater was in a weird closet that didn't have enough room for it to be moved around. But we ended up having success with that. And then the second time was when I had a dishwasher that could not be repaired and so I was able to get some money toward a new dishwasher.
