The whole process of dealing with Brinks Home Security has been long and tedious, marked by misleading emails and other forms of poor communication of Brinks with its customers. The only thing that has saved it has been the absolutely splendid assistance of your customer service rep Jodie Ann. She was exceptionally helpful, as well as a calming influence on my - frankly very justified - outrage with how Brinks Home Security operates. She also was very careful in defending the company while at the same time understanding my concerns. I think that were it not for her, the whole situation would never have been resolved.

I had an issue with my panel that took weeks to correct. After two defective panels, the third is now installed but I have yet another concern on how to manage two devices. Called customer service who could not navigate this simple request and now I am waiting for another virtual tech meeting. All very frustrating. I will say that both Rafael and Jonathan M were terrific in helping me install the panels and were so patient! For that reason, I am giving 4 stars. The process has been difficult and I had to call the twice to have my bill reduced for two weeks of down service. I spoke to Dominique first who told me a sold NO refund per policy and then called back to find that Jaqueline was so helpful and immediately went to her supervisor for the approval. I am on contract and cannot move away from Brinks but will certainly consider it when the contract ends. I remain very dissatisfied with the past few weeks of a messy approach to my issues and lost cost.

It was easy to set up and they covered everything that I needed. The only thing that I don't like is the control panel is so big I don't know where to put it. I thought the person who helped install the system was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. It would be nice if they gave a follow up call after the fact to check if everything is okay and working properly or if I had any questions instead of me having chase them down. There was something that they promised me that I didn't get and so if someone had call me with a follow up call that would have been easy for me to say "hey by the way I didn't get that link can you send it to me now?". It feels like they go after you with a vengeance to get your business so now that they have my business they should have the same level of customer service in my opinion.

The customer support has always answered my questions. They've always been able to help me when I had questions. They've always been very concerned about confidentiality and making sure that they were dealing with the correct person who's acount it was. Making sure that they were protecting my investment. I've had issues with connecting to the internet. The WiFi has not been a hundred percent all that great because of somewhat false readings at times and the notifications that the alarm has been turned off and turned on making me think that somebody's home and apparently that's not the case. Other than that, I've been relatively satisfied.

I'm worried someone will break into my windows, because I don't have sensors on them. I only have sensors on my doors. Protect America offers an app that allows you to turn your alarm on and off from any location. If I turn the alarm on while I'm in bed at night, if I wake up and forget to turn it off and open my door, their alarm is not very obvious. I've heard of other alarm systems that will sound off and blare out and be super annoying, so you know to run in and turn it off before the cops are called. But this system doesn't do that, it literally just sends a beep. So if I'm outside, I'm not going to hear the beeping until I walk back in and at that time it's too late. They've already dispatched the police department to my house. And that's happened a few times because I feel like the alarm is just not obvious. That's the one thing I don't like about Protect America.

After doing research on several different companies, Protect America seemed to get one of the highest rating. Initially, I had a little issue with the equipment. It was getting turned off, so they had to supplement a couple things based on what the salesman told me. I'd say if there was ever an interruption in the quality of their service, they would would surely help me understand how it will work for me in my house. The equipment is easy to install, and everything seems to do what it's supposed to do. If someone ever burglarized my house, I can call them and they would be very responsive and very helpful.

We never seem to get the chance to answer the alarm person before the alarm goes off again. They cannot hear me speaking because of this. Give a person a bit more time to get to the key pad to talk to the operator to say that all is well. This is very annoying. Very annoying. It has happened twice & he person talking to us & we couldn't get them to hear us so they called the fire ???????????????????????????????????????? This little fish ?? is for goodluck in money and love, but u have to keep this fish alive, by sending it onto the people u wish happiness and to always be safe... you have to a'' including as the next thing we know is

For the most part, my experiences with them have been positive. I really liked the idea of being able to order the system and install everything myself. Actually, that's the reason I chose it. My only complaint would be that every time I test my system, I end up calling the security center. It takes them about a minute or two to answer. It's not a big deal when I'm doing the monthly test, but if I had an emergency, then I'd be pretty concerned having to wait that long to talk to someone. Besides that, I've been pleased with the equipment, although, I've had to replace the wireless siren modules a few times already. I've also had problems with the intermittent motion detector, for which I must take everything apart and put it back together for it to work. I think they change their monthly charge to less than $40 as well. Most of the companies out there charge less than that.

At the time when I was looking for a security system, Protect America was the most prevalent in my area. They simply offered what I needed. I've always had a good support from them. They've always answered my questions, and provided whatever service I needed. The system is good, I only had a problem when they updated it. They wanted me to put in the new machine myself, which I wasn't able to do, so I had a little trouble trying to get their consent to send over a technician to do that. Besides that, everything's very good. They're always on top of everything, and are timely with checking your equipment periodically.

Their customer feedback online was very good for Protect America when I chose them, so I decided to go with them. Plus, they have given me the opportunity to upgrade to additional features, but they never raise my rate. It wasn't difficult at all to install it. They actually walked me through everything, and that was very helpful. The representatives were very helpful, and they double checked everything. I'd say they're very professional as well. I had an incident where they called me to tell me that somebody was in my house. It appeared to be somebody with permission, but unfortunately did not know the code. They gave me the option to cancel the alarm, that way, the police wouldn't have to go over.

Protect America was recommended to me. I followed up on that recommendation, and it's been a good relationship. The price is right. Customer service makes it sort of like two companies. When I had some problems, I was dealing with people that were low-authority on the phone call; it was a lot of frustration, but once they hooked me into one of the advisers, she went way overboard and just fixed all the problems and restored my faith. Installing the equipment's a little bit cumbersome, because I was an old timer when there were actual physical techs that came to the house. I think my first system was back in 1988 or something like that, so I had an agent that came to the house. Now, when I upgraded my system I had to do it all through the phone, and it works, but it can be a little bit cumbersome. The new upgrade has been working well.

The Home Security Representative was very helpful. I do not think it would have needed to get to the point that they needed to step in if Brinks would make sure the technical assistant folks are checking any and all issues when they are called on and Brink's Texting assistant absolutely SUCKS. It seems to be driven by automated questions and after 5 minutes, I quit using it as I had not even texted with a real person yet.

It wasn't too expensive and it fit our needs. I love that they call us before getting a hold of the police or anything and that they help us fix like one of the sensors are off or something they'll help us fix it. Plus they service us in a rural area. The only complaint I would say I have had trouble connecting their cameras. They should get a wider range of video survelliance. They've handled everything that we needed and I've never had an issue with them.

I would recommend them to others. I'm a new customer and with what I've seen so far I am satisfied. They guaranteed a price that would not increase. It appears to be good equipment. The only thing is I had to call in two different calls during the installation for technical support. Both times the call went into a waiting list and it takes an hour to an hour and a half to call me back.

Can't rate a 5 since we have only had the service for a month so time will tell. Was having false motion alarms and customer service by the website tech chat was excellent. I didn't research about the quality or reliability of the alarm components, time will tell here too. I feel they offered the best deal for what we needed in home security. It is an easy to set up system and you can have it all completely done before ever calling them to step you through the activation process. The Quolsys2 control panel is very easy to use.

The customer service and package overall value is good. Customer service is pretty quick. I didn't have to pay any installation costs. Overall I think it was pretty good service. We got disconnected a couple of times and instead of seeing the entire installation through one phone call, they request to call them back after you finish the installation yourself and then you have to wait to get back in the queue line to be able to talk to somebody. It had the newest technology. There are multiple access points through the phone app which makes it easy.

I like the technology Protect America provided to keep my business secure. Equipment was very simple to install and step by step assistance was provided via phone throughout installation process. The service is superb. There is a direct line to reach control/monitoring center for issues related to alarm system. And a separate number for billing inquiries. I also like the simplicity and flexibility of Protect America's remote app for downloaded Android or Apple which gives me the convenience to arm or disarm my entire system at the tip of my fingers.

The only reason that I rated them a 9 instead of a 10 is because some of their installation instructions for add-on equipment wasn't very good. For the initial install, the instructions were great though. The monthly fee is very reasonable. I also like the fact that my monthly bill will not increase. Had ADT previously and they raised rates annually.

Every time I go into chat somebody I customer service answers to help. Every time my alarm goes off for whatever reason the police arrived in two minutes or less knocking on my door so that means it's working. My family being safe me is the best thing. One thing they can improve is that I didn't realize that you have to go put the panic chord on the on the on the thing on the device itself.

I saw the add on Facebook. I ordered the equipment and they didn't tell me that I needed a SD card so I'm unable to watch videos and stuff. I with the SD card came with the camera, especially with how much I am paying each month. I like that I do get a notification. I've only called customer service a few times but every time I call they have answered my questions.

Overall, the customer service has been fine. I haven't had any problems with the equipment. I wish it didn't cost quite as much as it does so I recently had called actually to disconnect the service because I really didn't feel like I can afford it but I'm in a contract for 3 years I didn't realize I was but I am. They were nice enough to wave the payment for November for me.

Like the fact that system is not internet dependent, however I think that your system needs better batteries. Batteries do not last as long as other similar batteries last. TwiceI have left the Country and what I expected to be new batteries fail. Notified by Protecr America but cannot do anything about it. Batteries supplied by your company should be tested or change battery supplier. Not reliable.

The overall value of the equipment and service is excellent. The are that keeps me from giving them a 5 is the associated software applications. Neither the mobile app or PC application has the ability to "do it all". Some task can only be completed in one of the applications. The division of when you need to which app is not clearly defined and can lead to frustration. The Customer Service people can help you figure things out. The end user has no access to the documentation they have.

Protect America is always available to answer my calls and they're very prompt if an incident happens. I haven't had any issues with their equipment - everything is working properly so far. The best part about Protect America is the ease of use. You can use your mobile device while you're far away from home to check on your house. I would like them to reduce the monthly rate.

The people at Protect America are super friendly, willing to help, and pretty straightforward. It was a little disappointing when we got the system, because we had to switch out equipment that wasn't working properly. I think the cost factor isn't very reasonable. The only thing I would complain about is you have to self install all of it. They say it takes an hour, but it took 3 hours for me to install it.

I based signing up on price and they had the best price. When I call in, I always get prompt help. They explain it all and take care of all the problems. The equipment is okay, they upgraded to something not as bulky, but I have the bulky one. I don't really like that I have to call in and do a test for my security to make sure it's ok. But, I don't do that all the time anyway.

The reason I opened an account with them is because they offered me video. But they were not able to set up a camera and I've tried to call back twice and set it up, but the support is not helping. The phone calls are really hectic, I think the live chat is easier than the phone call when it comes to having a problem with the alarm. The best thing that I like is I am able to use the app when I am at work and I can do the live chat as well.

I don't have any cameras that are suitable for the price range I want. It doesn't have full functionality. They should have full app features working correctly. If you hit 'away' from the home, it doesn't do away. You have to actually check off the settings and then click away. 'Away' and 'to arm home' are both the same button. I do like their price though.

The customer service is very thorough. I have had on an occasion or two where I've had trouble getting connected to the right person. But once I did get connected, they gave me all the help I needed. They're probably the best I've ever had any experience with but this is only the second security system I've ever worked with and the other one was thirty years ago. I use it when I'm away from the home and I haven't had any false alarms.

After considering multiple options, I went with Protect America because of their combination of great technology and pricing. All of their agents have been very informative and pleasant to deal with. I've only had one time when a customer service representative accidentally gave me misinformation, and it caused me to order an unnecessary piece of equipment. Their mobile apps could use some improvement, and they're not very user friendly. Aside from all that, it does provide the information I need.

I haven't had it that long, but they've reached out several times to make sure things have been covered. They sent me a certificate so I could send it to my home insurance. The camera is good, but I don't really care for the window and door sensors. I have trouble with them coming loose. I'm also having a trouble figuring out how to mount the main panel to the wall.

This company was referred to me, and I've been impressed with how knowledgeable and patient their customer support has been when they help. The system is easy to install, but I'd like to have information about the different features. They only gave me very basic information, but I'd like to know more in depth about the master code. I also haven't heard about how to change my user password, but the customer service has kept me waiting for quite a long time.

We switched from a different security company because they were cheaper. We are having some trouble with the equipment right now. It doesn't tell you when a piece expires or something so right now we're trying to get in touch with Moni so we can replace that part. Customer service is really good though. They've really tried to help us, but sometimes there are not enough representatives in the company or in the area to supply us. If there's a problem, sometimes we have no way to get a hold of people that can help us fix it within a certain time frame.

Unfortunately, we've had a number of times when the alarm was accidentally triggered, and they responded very quickly. Fortunately, it wasn't anything serious, but they did respond. They were just very helpful and patient in walking me through everything. I really don't have any comparisons to make, but I believe they're very competitive. What I really liked is that I could install the system myself. That's the main reason I purchased it in the first place.

We chose Protect America because they're cost effective and the system was easy to install. They solved my problems when I called them, so they've been fine. One thing I was concerned about was my equipment. When I called to cancel my subscription, we found out that my equipment was so old that they couldn't even upgrade it anymore. They didn't believe that nobody called me to offer a free upgrade, so I would've really appreciated if they had called me for that.

As far as I know, I haven't had any problems with them. I do have to say that they have a reasonable price. Plus, I like that it's a self-install system, that way, I don't have to pay for somebody to install it for me. The only problem I've had with the equipment has been that the battery runs out too often, and it's very hard to change. Other than that, it's all been very good.

We had an issue with our system once; it wasn't working properly because one of the cables disappeared. It took them like 3 months before they figured it out and fixed it, however, they reimbursed everything, and actually gave me a little bonus for it and apologized for the inconvenience. They were real polite about it. Plus, every time the alarm goes off, even if it's by accident, they call me right away! It's just a good system.

The few times we've had false alarms, their customer support have been able to solve it. Plus, the actual installation of the system was very easy. We talked on the phone with their representatives, and they walked me through the whole set up process. What really made choose them was the amount of the coverage they have. I like being able to turn on or off my alarm with my app, that's nice. It's just been a great service. Anytime I've needed something, they've been able to help really fast, and always in a nice way. They've called every time the alarm goes off as well, so they do their job. We've had to replace some of the equipment throughout the years, but it's worked out well and smoothly.

After looking them up, I saw that they were recommended as one of the highest quality services on the internet. It was very simple to install; it took about an hour, and I did it myself. The devices have been working just fine. There was actually an issue once, but I called them up right away and they fixed it. Their agents have been very good. I don't know how to say anything better about them.

All of my matters have been handled professionally by their customer support, so we're happy with the service that we've received from Protect America. Plus, it was very easy to install. We received all our stuff in the mail, with the instructions on the box. Everything was very clear, and they provided a number to call if we had any questions. Everything was set up within 30 to 40 minutes. There's quite a few features we would like to add some time, but for now, everything has been working properly.

ADT wouldn't allow me to expand some options. They actually told me I could do that if I was a new customer, so I just went to another place where I was a new customer, and that's how I came into Protect America. Their representatives have always been very good, very professional, timely and I have no complaints about them. Overall, it's been a positive experience.

It really wasn't hard to install, but in the years I've had it, there have been a few difficulties. I left my house once, with the pan on the stove, and because of their persistency of trying to get a hold of me, I finally called the fire department. They saved my house! I'm really pleased with the fire sensors and system, and that is probably why I keep the service.

I initially purchased this service with Protect America because of the affordability of the system, and the fact that it was self-installed. I just think they have the greatest representatives! Everything gets squared away when I call them. So far, the equipment works great. Even the WIFI part of it, where I can disarm and check the system anywhere in the world works fine. I like it!

My biggest complaint with their customer support is that you have to wait long periods of time to get a hold of a representatives. Sometimes it takes 30 to 40 minutes to talk to somebody. Besides that, installing the system went well. The lady that helped us was fantastic! You do have theoretic problems every now and then, but overall, it's a great system. There's no way anybody can get in my property without me knowing about it.

So far, it's been a good experience. The only thing that I encountered was the fact that some devices weren't labeled properly, so they weren't getting the correct input. Fortunately, technical support corrected that. Besides that, their support has been excellent, very responsive, timely, and really supportive when I ask them about securing my home.

It's excellent! I've had them for 20 years, and I'm actually changing the system, and they sent me the parts at no charge. I did have a problem with their billing, where I paid them, but the information didn't get back to me, and they gave my account to a collection agency. I had to call the attorney general of my state to report it, and cleared everything out, so it was not easy.

They've been helpful the times I've called. Sometimes they have me wait a little bit, but over the 6 years we've been with Protect America, their customer service has been fine. Plus, the system does what we've expected it to do. Either way, it was pretty easy to install. The instructions were straight forward, and it was a remote type of installation, but it was a pretty satisfactory experience.

I heard about them from a friend. The explanation of the installation process was very very knowledgeable and helpful. With the customer support they've been good. I guess I've had a good experience overall, with a few bad ones; some monitors fell off the window, and some of our equipment is outdated. My wife says that one lady was very rude when they called when the alarm went off once, the alarm actually went off and the lady was actually rude. I do wish that for the price that we've been paying, we'd have more items available, too.

I needed some sort of alarm security system, and after talking to the local detectives, one of them recommended Protect America. My experiences with them? I haven't had a problem! Every time the alarm activates, I receive a call. The response was good. Plus, the installation process went very well. Their prices and fees are also much lower than other companies out there. It's just outstanding! I'd recommend them to anybody!
