The people at Protect America are super friendly, willing to help, and pretty straightforward. It was a little disappointing when we got the system, because we had to switch out equipment that wasn't working properly. I think the cost factor isn't very reasonable. The only thing I would complain about is you have to self install all of it. They say it takes an hour, but it took 3 hours for me to install it.

They were very helpful with the installation and everything else that was involved with setting up my service. I think they could update some of the technology and equipment they have. I think it would also be great to downsize the equipment, but still get the same results.

They're usually always available, and they're always helpful. The alarm works, once the Police even came. So, I can tell it is functioning. I like the key chain that comes with the systems and lock, which can also set the alarm off. I also like that you can install it yourself and don't have to pay for installation.

Any time I have a problem they answer immediately. Every single time that it gets tripped it immediately goes off. The app is very convenient. The fire department responded instantly when they needed to. I think that they should make an outdoor camera.

Every time I call they are friendly and take care of my problem. Sometimes it takes a while to figure it out, but they get it figured out and are patient. If I have the WIFI calling turned on my cellphone and try to call one of the numbers, it sometimes doesn't work until I turn off WIFI calling.

They call and check on you. They respond every time you make a mishap, either by giving you a call or emailing you. They do a test call with you and remind you about the test. It's reliable and does what it's supposed to do. However, I do think they need to advertise more.

They'll call you or send you alerts. Everything is connected to the apps, it's really straightforward and I don't have any issues with it so far. I like that their units are all self-contained, so it's all in one central location. They are really good at customer service and they are at a pretty good value.

It has some innovative features like the camera. My husband is disabled, and I want to be able to check on him and I can do that on the app. They're very patient and make everything simple. The stick-on things aren't very good, they could probably work on magnet ones. It's convenient and easy to set up.

I based signing up on price and they had the best price. When I call in, I always get prompt help. They explain it all and take care of all the problems. The equipment is okay, they upgraded to something not as bulky, but I have the bulky one. I don't really like that I have to call in and do a test for my security to make sure it's ok. But, I don't do that all the time anyway.

The reason I opened an account with them is because they offered me video. But they were not able to set up a camera and I've tried to call back twice and set it up, but the support is not helping. The phone calls are really hectic, I think the live chat is easier than the phone call when it comes to having a problem with the alarm. The best thing that I like is I am able to use the app when I am at work and I can do the live chat as well.

Before I had Protect America, I had a security system that I wasn't really happy with. But with Protect America, I can operate the system easily. It works perfectly and I have no problems with it. The best thing it provides is easy access to turn the system on and off.

I don't have any cameras that are suitable for the price range I want. It doesn't have full functionality. They should have full app features working correctly. If you hit 'away' from the home, it doesn't do away. You have to actually check off the settings and then click away. 'Away' and 'to arm home' are both the same button. I do like their price though.

I've had absolutely no issues with the equipment and I was able to do the install just look for guidance over the phone which made it very easy. The customer service has been spectacular from set up through anytime I call them or they called me because I turned the alarm off they've been very responsive and very helpful.

It could use some minor improvements terms of the asthetics and how it fits the surrounding area in the house. It could be a bit cumbersome. I'm using the color touchscreen. I feel like it could be a bit more ergonomic and slimmer but that's pretty minor. Everything else seems fine.

The customer service is very thorough. I have had on an occasion or two where I've had trouble getting connected to the right person. But once I did get connected, they gave me all the help I needed. They're probably the best I've ever had any experience with but this is only the second security system I've ever worked with and the other one was thirty years ago. I use it when I'm away from the home and I haven't had any false alarms.

I've only had to deal with them doing the set up process. They had to stay on the phone with me to make sure everything was set up correctly. I get email responses every time I set my alarm always on or armed or disarmed. I very seldom I don't have to contact them at all but I'm satisfied with how they monitor my home.

Every time I call in they have been right there right away. I haven't had an issue that wasn't perfectly resolved. I never have any issues with the equipment, it's good quality. I recently had a chance to go with another company and I called them to have them come out and re-negotiate my contract and extended it.

Your calls are answered promptly and if you need assistance they have an online chat where they respond quickly as well. It's easy to install, you can do it yourself and it takes the hassle out of having to schedule someone to come do it for you. Whenever I have issues they are very quick to respond and are very helpful.

The customer service person that I dealt with is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when I was setting up the equipment and buying the security system package. After considering multiple options, I went with Protect America because of their combination of great technology and pricing. All of their agents have been very informative and pleasant to deal with. I've only had one time when a customer service representative accidentally gave me misinformation, and it caused me to order an unnecessary piece of equipment. Their mobile apps could use some improvement, and they're not very user friendly. Aside from all that, it does provide the information I need.

I haven't had it that long, but they've reached out several times to make sure things have been covered. They sent me a certificate so I could send it to my home insurance. The camera is good, but I don't really care for the window and door sensors. I have trouble with them coming loose. I'm also having a trouble figuring out how to mount the main panel to the wall.

They were very attentive to every single question I had. The gentleman I spoke with spent plenty of time answering my questions and was very thorough. They were extremely patient and walked me through the installation. Overall, it's a good value, but the Velcro seems a little loose and some equipment seems a little bit cheaper.

The camera on my system sometimes goes back and forth from gray to color, and I'm not really sure why. Their customer service has been very accommodating and they've answered any questions that I've had. The system is easy to install, but I'd like to have information about the different features. They only gave me very basic information, but I'd like to know more in depth about the master code. We got it for our second home since we needed security and we liked that we could use an app to manage it. When I called them originally, they were horrible. After I called them and got to someone, they never called me back. I even left some 3 or 4 voice messages and never got a response, I was really pissed off. When I tried to get the installation people to come something similar happened. I never got a callback, and that was even after I had paid! I also feel like I'm paying a lot more than what they offered me in value. Maybe it's because I have more equipment or something, but I don't think that's good. The equipment is very good though. It does what it's supposed to do.

We switched from a different security company because they were cheaper. We are having some trouble with the equipment right now. It doesn't tell you when a piece expires or something so right now we're trying to get in touch with Moni so we can replace that part. Customer service is really good though. They've really tried to help us, but sometimes there are not enough representatives in the company or in the area to supply us. If there's a problem, sometimes we have no way to get a hold of people that can help us fix it within a certain time frame.
