Our house, along with 33 Sunrun panels were destroyed by fire. Sunrun's refusal to help in the rebuilding process caused the delay in rebuilding on our lot.

Thank you for your communication Robert G. We can only imagine how hard it is to experience a house fire, and we are sincerely sorry if we held up the demolition process, or any process at that. The delay was due to the panels still being on the home. The demolishing team would not proceed until we removed the panels, or let them get demolished with the home. It looks like we were able to work towards a resolution. There were only 4 panels left and the structural integrity of the home has been compromised and any individual that gets on the roof is at risk of falling through the roof. 85% of the home is totally destroyed. We see you worked with our Construction Manager and she got you taken care of, and you were able to move forward. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns in regards to the situation.

With the re-wiring and securing of each panel, the majority of the cost comes from labor. To address these concerns, we will run a Savings Analysis in which we will compare what you paid to both Sunrun, and your utility to what you would have paid exclusively with your utility had you not gone solar with us.



When you have a chance, please send in your most recent 12 months of utility bills. These bills must include the kWh usage and dollar amount charged for each month. If you do not have hard copies of these bills, they can be found on your utility's website. You can use this website to find instructions for retrieving your bills. Please make sure the statements you send in are not the gas portion of the bill and include the necessary components stated above.

Hello Steve C. There are many reasons why this could happen. For example, if you consumed more energy this year, your utility bill will be higher. If you've had the system for more than a year we can run a Home Electric Report and analyze your consumption.

Hello, Keep in mind that the size of your utility bill is based on your usage. If your bill is higher than last year, you may be using more power than last year. Since your Sunrun rate is lower than that of your utility, that means you'd be paying even more for your current usage without solar.
