If I could give zero stars I would . WORST customer service hands down. They never transferred a set of panels to the new home owner - we’ve been paying and it need to stop like yesterday. NO one calls you back. NO one answers their phone extension. NO one even emails you back. Awful - run from Sun Run.

I found an Sunrun to be a very large corporate company with very little customer service, and no way to get any problems solved. I do not recommend !!!much higher prices than competing companies and far lower quality of services

My system has been down for 8 months and it's only 4 years old. It hasn't been the first time it's been down either. We purchased our system. The service from the company isn't worth the 1 star. They have no clue what good service is. I plan on filing a complaint with the Attorney General.

Definitely not recommend! They say one thing the first week but then they come back after 3 months saying “Sorry but your system hasn’t been approved, you need sign more via docsign” No supervision and customer service at all. Costco must do something!

they messed up my account so unknowingly and hearlessly, the deactivated half my system. Their customer service is brutal and they lied to me. One person does not know what the other is doing. So i lost the value of almost 1 month of electeric solar generation.

Please be careful this company has terrible customer service and they steal in the bill, they have robbed me for a year and I have spoken to get an answer and they only open one case after another and that's how they go, I'm disappointed, stressed and wanting to get out of that contract. They are good at tricking people.

Since install eights months ago my inverter drops off line two or three times a week when the temperature goes above 70 degrees. Eight service calls later they refuse to replace the inverter stating it is very expensive. I would NOT recommend Sun Run.

We had our solar panels installed last October and our first payment was due this month. Our panels are still not turned on and after countless phone calls and e-mails we have received zero response back from Sunrun. We are extremely frustrated and this whole experience has left a very bad taste in our mouths.

Have been trying to get a hole fixed in the side of my house which they put in during an upgrade. Cannot get ANYONE to come out and fix it. Has been since August, and all I get is finger pointing and buck passing. One department to the other, no one knows what is going on in that company at all.

I personally would not recommend Sunrun. Poor communication weird contract transfer. Why would anyone want to lease something for 20 years to not own it at the end?? And than to still pay for an electric bill…am I missing something? This may be for all companies and if that’s the case I wouldn’t recommend anyone using solar.

Wasted my time! Set an appointment up at my local Costco. Texted me with the local rep to confirm my appointment. Waited 3 hours the rep never showed. Texted back to the two representatives on the text chain .. no response. It has now been over 1 month and I never heard back from anyone.

Upset Customer ,

A little over a year after the panels were installed, I started experiencing many problems! I have been paying nearly $300 power bill, monthly, to NV Energy, AND I am still paying on the loan for my panels!! It’s been a year, I am still paying $300 monthly to NV Energy along with my solar loan, and and they are now avoiding my phone calls!

We cancel the contract the same day after reading it. They scam you not giving technical info. You can't run an entire house with 3823 kwh. They want to sell you the $.135/kwh, not true, amps? to cover your use. PGE will have to supply it as usual, Beware, I fill sorry for the people that doesn't know about solar system and how it works.

we were told there would be "no monthly cost" to lease the panels for 20 years, that all expenses would be paid to install, that it would all be free. Once they get you hooked, they run your credit. Why run credit if its "Free" ? this company is endorsed as a vendor thru ComEd, so no respect for them either.

We pay $166 a month for panels. We keep our thermostat, in brand new house at 79! We still paid $300 to power company in july! Wont help with all the roosting birds under and around panels.

Hello Mark, thank you for your communication. Keep in mind that the size of your utility bill is based on your usage. If your bill is higher than last year, you may be using more power than last year. Since your Sunrun rate is lower than that of your utility, that means you'd be paying even more for your current usage without solar. In other words, you're still saving. Remember that solar is seasonal. The panels will produce more during the sunnier months and less during the winter. Over the course of 12 months, you will still be saving. While Sunun takes care of system insurance, maintenance and production, Sunrun’s warranty does not cover wildlife issues. If you’re interested, we can recommend a local partner of ours in your area who offers a service to install a critter guard around the perimeter of the array to prevent animals from getting under the panels.

Terrible follow up. Salesperson less than excited. Terrible. He took pictures and said the design team would follow up within 24 hours nothing. 4 days later! He has not even called me back to check. Terrible needs some customer service training and sales training badly. So dissapointed.

Worst customer service!!! I bought this system over 6 months ago and it has failed Irvine city inspection three (3) times. I am making monthly payments on a system that doesn't work. Great sales but fail on delivery. I email Sunrun and they keep giving me the run around. DO NOT BUY...frustrated.

They will do and tell you anything to get you to purchase the product. My panels are not producing what is expected sunrun does not monitor your system if you purchase yourself. You do not get a 30% rebate it’s a credit there is a big difference. Would not recommend to anyone.

I called to ask why i wasnt generating enough power was told they woul send a tech to check it but onw never came out so for the 3rd year in a row i owe 3000 to sce for my yearly services. Dont do it!!!

You have to pay everything upfront. Once they had my payment the installation was incorrect. The system did not pass inspection after installation. Some of the problems were not resolved. I have also had three electrical problems in my house since the installation.
