I think their model is simple and straightforward. While I was researching systems and companies I talked with them and considered going with them. However, if you can find access to financing to own your own panels I really do not think their model is in the best interest of the homeowner. And I know when it comes time to sell a home (have several friends who have done this) with Sunrun leased panels it can be a headache and deterrent to some buyers. I would strongly recommend people to own their panels not lease them! Leasing saves in the short term, but provides no equity to the homeowner longterm!!!

Sunroom provided me with a quote to install solar on my home, and how it would work with my local gas and electric company. I appreciated the detail they provided me, and taking the time to explain things to me. I’m sure they explain it 10 times a day to 10 different people, but they never met me feel rushed, or like my questions were redundant.

The sales rep was recommended by a family member. We set up an appointment and he did all the work. We needed up getting a new roof ,solar panels and a battery. No issues and everything went smoothly. I just pay the company a flat rate and since I am producing energy, my Edison bill has been about $1/month.

I have had the solar system for almost 2 years. I was told my electric bill would be $60 to $100 a month. I was paying $150 to n250 before solar. Now I pay $200 to solar and between 150 and 200 dollars a month to the electric company. This company sucks.
