They are always available for any questions or concerns you have during the process and they basically do everything for you. I would choose no other company to do my solar power.

we had a very good working relationship with nick rockhold and several of his team.we started with our personal home. than our daughters home than our granddaughters and grandsons home than a duples rental home and a single family rental.have sent names of several other people. some of them have started with their homes. we have the 25 year lease on all of ours

We have had our solar system for almost 2 years now. When we sized it we wanted to have some additional capacity for a heat pump. Our thinking was we could cut our oil bill for heating in the winter and save on cooling costs as well. It turns out we saved a lot this winter. Our oil usage was cut by mor the 50%. Solar is the way to go. Sunrun delivered more then was expected.

The service is great. In the summer of 2022 my electric bill jumped from $150's to almost $500 with Ameren. I immediately started looking into solar. After originally talking with a different company, what they offered was no where even close to matching the power I was using. So Sunrun looked at that plan and came back with a much better plan. My Next Ameren bill is $10 per the notification. I am making so much power even running my AC at 68° that my gas portion of my bill has also disappeared!

I was skeptical at first with some of the negative customer service reviews. But I have to say this was one of the best decisions I’ve made honestly, I pay less for electric and will continue to do so over the next 20 years plus, I got a battery bonus Rebate card of over $4000, I have a Tesla back up battery to power through any electrical outage and at zero cost whatsoever. My equipment has been running for almost a year with no issues and my electric bill from my power company has been in the negative for over six months. I can’t be happier.

Customer service is great ! Very helpful, Juan walked me through every step of obtaining solar, the entire NV energy process, along with my project manager. They made the leasing and installation of solar very easy. The installers were kind, courteous and very helpful the day of the installation. I would recommend Sunrun for all of your solar needs !

We had a few mishaps along the way. But overall, we are very happy with the outcome on the looks from the street and how the system works. We are so glad to get the battery backup system. Happy to be saving money on electric from SCE, those bills were killing us. Our Rep Ryan really took care of us along the way, and we didn't pay a dime for any part of the system as it went up. Looking forward to years of hassle free and cost effective power. Thank you!

Sunrun and I sort of helped each other . I couldn’t afford the cost of putting the panels on my roof myself so with their plan, I was able to put panels on my roof and share the electricity with them. They voted the cost of the panels and I got the benefit of a very low electric bill and when my panels need to be replaced, I would like them to do it again.

I am renting out my solar panels with a battery back up. With my son, daughter-in-law, their 5 kids that all live with me create a ton of electricity with all the TV’s, phones, tables, etc plugged in almost 24/7 was costing me a huge amount monthly. With SunRun’s solar panels, I am saving money every month! The electric went out a few days ago and the battery backup kicked on which was a relief! Professional and friendly service - you cannot go wrong with them! I highly suggest everyone get solar panels from SunRun!

Installation crew conscientious and clean. Listened and responded to feedback and suggestions. On-site crew explained all the equipment and operation details. Sunrun handled the local permit process. Also followed up after initial installation with a "how is it going" visit. Made one service call to correct issue detected remotely---without my having to contact them. So far trouble free, and I frequently have a negative balance from the electric company.

I have been extremely pleased with all aspects of my experience with SunRun — from the installation to ongoing maintenance and great power generated. They called me when their system detected an issue rather than me having to hunt them down. I am so glad I elected to keep them as my “utility” company rather than owning the panels outright. I’m still paying off a much older set of solar panels that are 1/2 broken, and the company I worked with then is out of business

We weren't crazy about the sales rep that came to our house, but in spite of him we went ahead with the solar installation. They were easy to work with and until the installation was completed there was a single person to deal with if we had any questions or concerns. We had no electric bills in the summer months, but did have them in the winter. Having said that I also have to say we had a lot of cloudy days and more snow this past winter than usual.

Sunrun was absolute on the mark! I had Sunrun install solar panels on my rental property. Tenant utilities are included in the rent, so it was a no-brainer to have solar installed to help with my expenses. The savings are significant. I loved the professional attitude and presentation from all the Representatives that we spoke with from the initial young man at Home Depot to Robert who came to the house . Also loved the way we were spoken to and explained thoroughly how the system works to how to clean the panels and we have received follow up calls almost quarterly to check on our savings and system to ensure that we are getting full benefit of our system

Have had Sunrun for three years now and it’s worked great so far. A lower and predictable monthly bill; and the few times we’ve had blackouts, the back-up battery has kicked in nicely and we appear to be the only house on the block not sitting in the dark. Spencer was a great rep for the company when we initially inquired, no pressure at all, just a lot of information provided in a friendly way.

There's a coordinated effort between Sunrun, the financing entity and the stakeholders (city permitting, electric service delivery entities). This made the process go smoothly. The Sunrun team was accessible to us and set expectations appropriately. The system is running well and we're able to track usage and savings. Note that the initial system installation was about a year ago and we are seeing savings. However, we added a battery and more panels during the last month. We think this will make a big difference in our savings with the electricity provider.

Sales team was excellent. Five stars explaining how a lease works and pricing. The installation team was 10 stars. They explained all technical things to a technical person including system operation. This included changes that needed to be made "on the fly" that occur when the planned installation design meets the actual home. I was informed of the changes needed. I was informed of any available options if more than one solution was available and the advantages/disadvantages for those options. Basically, they were knowledgeable, efficient, and communicating from beginning to end in the installation. This resulted in a very professional installation. Then we come to the after service support. This has two components. Hardware/installation and connection/billing. There were some issues with the Hardware that required the installation personnel to return and make adjustments. Something I expected because it is complex in all the wiring which had to be rerouted into a second breaker box that the backup battery can support. This also included them training me to understand what areas in the house are backed up for the battery I had selected. They quickly switched over a change I requested. The support side for getting connected with Sun Run, FPL and my Electric meter was a communications and procedural nightmare. This cost a star in the rating. The communication from the so-called customer satisfaction area was basically non-existent. FPL and Sunrun apparently were overwhelmed with installations. The paperwork required from Sun Run was lost or never submitted, so we were sending power to FPL through a one-way meter. This was indicated on the meter as being bought from FPL, which meant I was paying for the power I was generating. I resolved the issue by getting the Hardware support to temporarily shut-off my system and personaly submitted the required forms to FPL for the two-way meter. Once the two-way meter was installed and the system restarted, everything has operated flawlessly. This includes multiple power outages, from just moments to multiple hours. A lighting strike on the cable network system which damaged the cable boxes and stopped electrical power all over the neighborhood. My Sun Run system handled it without any issues. So, I am enjoying a reliable and fixed cost electrical system which has been stress tested and performing as designed. I now have a battery backup system and reliable power at approximately the same cost as my original annual power bill. My

Sunrun staff have always notified me that they would be arriving to check on the system installed at my house, arrived when they said they would, then repaired whatever wasn’t working right. Sometimes it takes a second visit to bring a necessary component. They are monitoring the system remotely and are alerted when something isn’t registering on their end. I think Sunrun has amazing service.

I have to say everything he said lined up and we have been saving so much money more than we actually expected. I have had my Sunrun Solar system for over one year. Anna our sales rep she explained everything and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Anna , she guided me through every step of the way through the installation. The hardware is zero maintenance and the software they use runs great. The installation & setup was quick then waited for my city and electric company approvals. You can review your systems progress or run a report anytime you want from anywhere you want.

Ron D came to my house about a year and a half ago and I was a little hesitant because I know nothing is for free. But I let them in to hear his pitch and it turns out there is a program that you can qualify for to get solar at no cost. Luckily this company was able to do upgrades to my home because I needed a roof in some electrical work done and they were able to do everything to get my Home to code and also save me money on my electricity without any out-of-pocket expense. I would highly recommend Ron and Son run because my overall experience has been exceptional.

Every step of the process went smoothly, and more importantly, as expected. From the initial consultation the process was laid out with realistic timelines. The consultant also explained how he designed the system and why he recognized what he did. I actually went with one more panel than he originally recommended. There was no upselling. I did this because the info he had from the prior year was inaccurate due to us being out of town. Overall it was an outstanding experience.

We're just beginning to speak with SunRun, but their initial presentation has us very enthused. They even have a way to incorporate the tax incentive into the cost offset, so that we (who don't qualify for the tax incentive, that is, we do not have a tax liability) are still able to benefit from the tax incentive. John B was our first contact person, and we believe after looking at at least five other company's presentations, his presentation is by far the best.

Phenomenal experience that my family and I had from SUN RUN, from the consultation, installation, and down to showing you how to use your system. The communication link was always there to let you know what step of the process you were in. Nobody left us hanging which I really appreciate a lot. I was incredibly impressed with Sunrun through the entire process before "flipping the switch" to turn on solar power. It took 3 - 4 months from 1st sales contact to final turning on due in large part to lots of "red tape" with the local electrical supplying company. Sign-off email at completion of installation said to continue watching electrical use during high cost hours. I questioned why (by email), but never heard back. It took my first high electrical bill to sort out just how this whole process works. My last (4th) electric bill was the smallest - $54.00. I was told it would only be about $20 monthly for "connectivity". I have, also, since been told by a realtor that there will be problems for a buyer purchasing the home if there is still money owed on the contract. I will be 95 at the end of this! I've since had an issue with some work that a subcontractor did and have had a lengthy process trying to get the issue resolved. The case was finally turned over to someone who would review and get back to me. 10 days later she hasn't called and has not returned 2 phone calls. Do thorough research before investing in any solar. Don't be fooled by "there's absolutely no money out of your pocket".

Have gone solar since 2/17 and the panels have produced what was promised. Our home is 2500sf with a split existing a/c system (2) outside units. When we purchased the house in 5/16 monthly APS bills averaged about 350$$ a month in the summer and appox 275$$ a month in the winter. We have found that for 8-1/2 months our APS bill is appox 35-50 a month mostly taxes etc. The other 3-1/2 months we're averaging appox 175-325 APS bill. Our goal was to average about 200$ a month year round. We're not quite there yet because our existing A/C units are 13 years old and one will get replaced this winter with a new efficient unit. Anyone thinking you will get 100 percent away from APS forget it they still bill you for many different things. So in a nut shell we're getting what was sold to us and am satisified. Hopefully with the new A/C unit our summer rates will decrease.

I researched a lot of solar companies. I asked many of my friends that had solar installed. At that time, 2014, there were very few that offered a PPA plan. Sunrun was one. I talked with their Rep. He was very helpful and informative. I was convinced the PPA was for me. No cost at all. How could I go wrong to not cough up 20 to 30 thousand dollars for a loan to own and maintain my system. With the PPA plan Sunrun takes care of everything. I recommended Sunrun to my friends. They were equally happy with all the results from Sunrun. Thanks guys!

We went thru Costco for the extra security. Sunrun's installation was neat, well organized and well coordinated with a new roof we installed at the same time. We chose a lesser percent (roughly 75% of our previous years usage) and have now gone almost two years and our balance with the electric company is under $100, when our monthly bills ran $265 on average. Great experience.

So sorry for those folks who had a bad experience with this company. I am very pleased with the installation process and my saleslady was and is very professional. Inspection scheduled and then an ok to turn this system on. The crew who did the installation was quick, professional and cleaned up everything. All concerns were addressed and taken care of. They first installed new roof tiles where the panels go because my roof tiles have 10 years left, and this is a 20 year installation project. All went well.

We finally jump on the band wagon to get solar in our lives. We decided on SunRun Panels after talking to several neighbors that had experience with SunRun and other companies solar products. We did not go through SunRun directly, but a contractor that installed their products. The panels are beautiful and very efficient. The installation was on time and very quick, only one day for 14 panels. We are looking forward to adding our first Electric vehicle to our family and going solar seemed the right choice.

I can only rate Sunrun on the installation of my panels so far,the team of Highpowered, did an excellent job on the installation, yes there was noise (to be expected. They left their work area clean of debris, and all the men worked together very well, (pleasant surprise). I am in the process of waiting for the final inspections to be done before the system is turn on. So far so Good.

I opted for Sun Run because they were promoted and backed by Costco. Their salesperson was knowledgable and honest, and I investigated the panels they were offering and they were very efficient, though maybe not the absolute best. It took a couple of months to get all the local and state approvals and for the panels to arrive. The installation went pretty quickly considering there were over 30 panels (I wanted to cover Tiers 1 and 2 - we are with LA DWP) and I went up on our flat roof a few times to take pictures etc. They finished their work and replaced carefully all the tiles that had to be removed to access the roof safely. Here is the good news/bad news. The day after they completed, it poured buckets. I woke up to find a waterfall in the family room because two of the anchor holes they have to drill to protect their workers on the roof, were not plugged like the others. The good news part is that we discovered the problem right away and they came out to verify the problem and temporarily stop the holes. They also stepped up to pay for the cleaning of the Persian Rug, the sofa, refinish the wood table, refinish the entire wood floor in the family room, gave us $350 in gift certificates as additional compensation. So although they made a terrible mistake, and we were inconvenienced for several weeks, they took charge and provided first class service to fix everything. After five months of use, no problems, and my electric bill has been the minimum $11/month fixed fee, and I have accumulated credits to use if I go over my production. The communications during this process were quick and regular. I have read the other reviews and most of the unhappy ones were from the East coast and not from California or the rest of the West, although many had no geographic identification.
