There is just one electrical company out here where I live. Because they don't have any competition, they can choose to charge me whatever they want, whenever they want. At the time I was paying them more than $200 for my electric utilities, even though I live on my own. One day I went shopping at Home Depot and saw Sunrise. I spoke with a guy there that explained solar to me, looked at my situation, and offered me a better deal and price for everything. He told me that, if I got solar, I would be able to save money on my electrical bills. It was all lies though. Since I got the system up in December, I've been getting higher bills for my electric utilities. Now I pay more than $300 a month for both and that was just not what we agreed to. What I've noticed is that, whenever our solar goes down, the electric bill goes up, and vice versa. It just doesn't make any sense to me. As I said, I live on my own, have all LED lights in my house, keep the temperature to 68-69, and even use a space heater most of the time instead of the central heating. I've done everything I could to reduce my electricity usage so I don't understand where it's all coming from. Both Sunrise and the electrical company need to speak some truth and actually give me the right information.

My solar panels are great! They have the guard around them so pigeons don't stay around. The installation process went well. Every month all I have to pay is the sunrun bill and some monthly connection fee for my local energy company. I'm not happy with the local company, but I'm happy with sunrun, as it is much cheaper than if I were to rely solely upon my local electric company

From the initial consultation to the installation, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. I learned about Sunrun from friends who installed their solar panels system a few years ago. They trusted Sunrun solar panels as they learned about them from one of the Costco stores. I also read some information online about choosing the best types of panels, and Suntun provides high-quality panels using a reliable solar panel provider. Sunrun’s promotional team and customer support are friendly, helpful, and prompt when I ask for referral information. Our sales consultant is knowledgeable and patient in showing us how to look up and search the information of the Rate Change Advisors and how it affects our recent utility bills. He is professional. We had completed a site survey by a Sunrun technician who was professional and considerate. He wore shoe covers when he needed to get into our house. We are awaiting a proposal from the site survey and are excited to have a solar system installed on our roof. -Tsang

We were hesitant but our electrician said call Bobby from Sunrun in Petaluma,CA don't go to HD or Costco types because it eventually does not have a true bonified tech/ sales info like Bobby and he will give you his phone to call if there’s anything you need. Bobby from Sunrun came out explained the whole process so clearly and has been involved every step of the way. We're now hooked up and using solar for our energy and eventually will be recognized by PGE but until they are set we are not using any power from them. My total cost to get everything including 2 Tesla batteries is $0. While we will be paying monthly charge to Sunrun, it's much lower than our old PGE bill and there is a small set increase once a year. Don't wait utility prices are not going down, call Bobby at Sunrun.

There are so many great things I could say about Ryan T and sunrun! From day one, Ryan was completely honest and transparent, he helped educate us on the entire process, and he was there every step of the way, including the day our panels were installed! He never made us feel pressured at all. The Sunrun crew did a fantastic job of installing our solar panels and didn’t cut any corners. This was especially clear after a hurricane when our neighbors all lost parts of their roofs and yet we weren’t missing a single shingle. Many of the competing companies either charge a lot more, cut corners, go out of business, or all of these things combined. If you want quality, affordability, and to know you’re in good hands, Sunrun is the choice for you!

The amazing team at SunRun made quick work of getting another ten solar panels and two Tesla batteries installed in one day. Their work was completed in a very organized manner and they cleaned up everything leaving no mess behind. The men were very considerate in giving us a fifteen minute notice that they were ready to shut off the power before reconnecting the new units to the power grid. The men were very pleasant and seemed to know exactly how to do their job so that everything was done in an orderly fashion and they cleaned up behind themselves. The sales contact. Max C, took over this account and stayed in touch through the whole process and made himself available to answer any questions that developed. His professionalism is second to none. Max always seemed to have the customers interest at heart.

From sales to installation the whole process was as good as it gets. My salesman handled everything, even though the installation, always checking how the installers were doing. The inspection team was great. The kept apologizing because they couldn’t use their drone to take pictures of the preparation work because I live to close to an international airport. The installation team couldn’t have been any better. They explained everything as they were doing the installation. And left everything cleaner than it was before they started. And the salesman was on the phone during and after the work was done.

A Good Experience! We pay only the monthly connection fee of about $9 to Xcel Energy. Our net meter has rolled backward 1970 kWh this past 12 month period. Our 12 month (366 day) production was only 83% of expected (sized) production, so glad we oversized it at 139% of previous 12 month usage. We strongly suggest that you oversize your system's number of panels. I calculate that the system will pay for itself in 12-13 years, not considering the investment value of the money we spent and could have otherwise have invested at current interest rates. Also consider getting a battery backup for when outages occur. Also suggest you obtain at least one quote for same size system from another reputable solar vendor.

My solar panel purchase from Sunrun was honestly the best product purchase experience I’ve ever had. The joke I’ve told my friends was that I wish SunRun also sold carpet, refrigerators, and cars!! Everything from my initial contact with Sunrun, where they explained everything in incredible detail through a screen share on my phone and when the time was right, explained each document I digitally signed. Then we were assigned a project manager, who did a fantastic job of keeping up with every last thing for us. We were given updates via text throughout the whole process, so I never wondered much longer it would be. When the installers came, there were some on the roof and some in the attic and others outside, putting the panels together. Despite a lot of work, they finished in a single day and they were extremely polite and even explained what the parts were and how they fit together. The app works incredibly well. The panels operate efficiently, we’ve never had a single technical glitch, and all we know is that our electric bill is immensely less than it was before the panels were installed. Getting solar panels was the best thing we ever did, and SunRun was the best company we could’ve picked to do it.

Everyone at Sunrun was a pleasure to work with. The sales process was informative and the salesperson Ryan W. worked very hard to ensure that all needs were met, both financially and operationally with the system. He even suggested an affordable way to get a Tesla whole-house battery backup system which has worked out great. The installation process was excellent. Sunrun discovered that our roof needed to be replaced and they took on the task of figuring out how to take that on themselves and do so at a lower price than we were able to find for a roof replacement when we looked into it ourselves. During the roof installation, a worker's ladder fell and damaged part of our front door and they immediately sent out an artisan to fix the damage perfectly. When we had some difficulty getting into the online portal, the whole team got involved to resolve my access. Sunrun came a few months after installation and fine-tuned the system (software I think) and the power savings is measurable as a result. Finally, from the recent heavy rains we had some water leaking through part of the roof and since Sunrun subcontracted the new roof installation, they "stepped-up" and took on the task and cost of getting that fixed under warranty. The point of everything above is that Sunrun is a different kind of vendor in that they are responsive to phone calls, responsive to emails, and treat every issue like it was their own personal house and own personal solar system. They have repeatedly taken responsibility to fix issues that have arisen. Every employee has been very pleasant to work with. Don't hesitate - sign up with this company!

To date, Sunrun has performed as promised. Being skeptical in the beginning, we quickly became comfortable with the process and it was a “No Stess” experience. We were kept informed throughout all phases of the project right up to installation day. The install crew were very professional and made sure the property was clean and tidy at the end of every day. The design and layout look great with the triple black panels and best of all they are performing as indicated. All and all we are very happy with our system and the money we are saving with our energy bills which are $0.00 most months. An amazing company! Truly easy process with a kind, trustworthy team. Kyle was a wonderful first contact on our solar journey. He broke down all of the specs and pricing so we could understand and know we were making the right choice. He got us answers to our questions and adjusted things to meet our needs. I first contracted with Sunrun to design, stall and lease a solar array in 2013. The process was very straightforward and our solar panels were up and running in a few short months. The system was designed well and we owed $0 at each true up for a number of years. Once our adult son moved back home, I worked with Derek and Megan to expand the array. I was very satisfied with the excellent customer service they and other Sunrun colleagues demonstrated in designing and installing more panels. We are back to owing $0 at true up! I was also very impressed with Sunrun when I planned to replace my roof. They were on time and very efficient in removing all the panels and hardware and safely storing them onsite. Once the new roof was on, Sunrun was equally responsive in coming out to re-install all the hardware and panels and I was up and running shortly after.

Three years ago we applied for the Costco home roof solar panel program. The program was managed by SunRun. SunRun was remarkably ompetent and designed and installed our solar panel system. They coordinated with our local electric utility to provide a seemless transition from a utility based system to a primarily solar based system. Our monthly power bill dropped from about $200 to about $35 with no apparent change in the quality of service. We have operated at the lowest available utility bill thru summer and winter seasons. We were pleased and very surprised to realize that our solar panels fully offset our air conditioning power demand thru our complete mid-Florida use. We could not be more pleased with the SunRun work and the very pleasant support of its staff

Sunrun representative Blakeslee S. presented herself as very knowledgeable about her product. Unlike other I spoke with from other companies. Everything Blakeslee stated and indicated would happen did happen. She stayed on top of our installation and if an issue arose it was taken care of immediately. The electrician was very professional and made sure his work was neat and the installation looked good on the house. The solar panel installers were also very neat. Extremely fast and made sure the grounds were cleaned up. Once completed Blakeslee came to make sure the work was done and I was happy. I would recommend Sunrun to anyone e who is looking for solar.

So far, we are very satisfied with SunRun. The sales representative, Elias, was very informative and spent a good deal of time with us explaining EVERYTHING. When we told him that we knew we would not qualify because we needed to replace our roof, Elias was quick to let us know that they work with several roofing companies and they could help us to replace our roof. He told us not to worry about getting quotes or any permits. Sunrun did all that for us saving us the hassle. The roofing company came to our home, right on time and they replaced our roof and facia boards quickly and were very professional. They also cleaned up the mess and hauled everything away. Sunrun also gave us some monetary assistance with the cost of the roof. During the whole process, Elias was in constant communication with us, letting us know what what going on and when the inspector was expected to show up. Everyone came right on time and the entire process went smoothly. We are still kind of new to the process, but so far we are greatly pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Sunrun to anyone considering solar. They are a great company- in many states-and if you look at all the reviews, you will see that most of them are 5-star.

Our roof was leaking but we could not afford the $13,000 cost for replacement – we heard we could get roof replaced if we went solar – we called several solar providers who said we did not qualify because we had too many trees – and we would need to remove trees at our own expense before being considered for solar – and while this was happening our heating/air conditioning system began failing and needed to be replaced at a cost of $12,000 – it was an overwhelming situation – that was until we met with Nick Z of Sun Run – he arranged for the needed trees to be cut down and stumps removed – and he arranged for a new roof of our house – and all the work was done quickly and professionally – we then get solar installed and are currently awaiting required inspections before being turned on. We were paying Atlantic Electric $180 a month as part of a budget – and that is what we will now be paying SunRun instead – and we just received notice that because of usage our bill with Atlantic Electric is now increasing to $240 per month – fortunately once our system solar system is turned on our bill with Atlantic Electric will just be $20 or so – and $180 to Sun Run – so our monthly cost for electricity will be $40 less per month – and since we now have a high efficiency air conditioner our usage may be less than what we generate and therefore will get a refund from Atlantic Electric. I can’t say enough good things about Nick – he was able to completely change our situation – we now have a nice roof – a yard that can grow grass and a garden – and will be paying less for electricity now and for the next 25 years – he was kind – efficient – professional – responsive – a joy to work with – I am forever grateful to Nick and SunRun.

Outstanding service and communication from first call to completion of installation and activation! We had a dedicated contact person (John K) that guided us through the process from day one. He explained the system and options. Contract process was simple and understandable. We had options to choose from to determine the best pricing structure that fit our budget and expectations. Installation crew was professional, friendly and receptive to my questions and suggestions regarding final placement of panels and installation. Coordination with our electric supplier was very smooth. Looking forward to watching the system generate solar energy credits to offset all of our electric demand.

I'm so thrilled with my Sunrun experience. At first I was the biggest skeptic. I was sure there was some angle where the company was getting the better of me, but after multiple spreadsheets, due diligence and some serious tire-kicking, the Sunrun deal turned out to be as good as they said it was. My rep, Damian, was incredibly attentive and worked with me every step of the way. His high integrity and great communication made the entire experience enjoyable. Now I'm the cool kid on the block with my snazzy new solar panels and Tesla Power Wall. As everyone else's PG&E bill continues to skyrocket, we're basking in the Sunshine of a locked-in low monthly bill. It feels like I'm the one getting the better end of this deal.

The salesman that came to my house convinced me of the gray opportunity that the system would do for my house. You put together a design package for 15,000 KW which was all I needed just to provide all the electricity I needed. This installation team was professional fast and courteous and they did an amazing job. In fact the installation looked much better than the other installations in my neighborhood. I was really happy with my electric bill as I never had much more than $10 a month payment to aps. Sometimes as my credit filled up I would have no electric bill at all. I'm very happy with my solar system and I hope that I'm happy with it for years to come. I highly recommend this to someone that needs a solar system.

We had Sunrun install a system on a prior home 5 yrs ago and were so pleased with everything about the process and resulting performance of the system that we contacted, Eva K, the senior field consultant we’d worked with before, to begin the process of adding a solar system to our new home. Eva provided the same personable, professional and prompt service as our first interaction. She is knowledgeable and able to answer questions easily, honestly and straightforwardly. There is no stress or pressure and she is a delight to have in our home. She does not make false claims just to make you happy, nor hesitate to pursue all options to eliminate impediments to reach your goals. It feels like she is your team captain coaching you all the way to the “win”. Today, Michael S did our site review and we experienced again Sunrun’s commitment to excellent service. Mike was punctual, professional and friendly. He assisted us in all the tasks necessary to complete the assessment, encouraged our questions and confirmed our decision to work with Sunrun was a wise one. We are hoping our installation can proceed and we will be “second time” recipients of a Sunrun Solar System, plus a Battery this time!

Ron knocked my door about 3 years ago with another gentleman and I usually don't Like to do business at the door like that but he was very personable so I let him in. After he broke down how things worked I was really interested in seeing if my home qualified for the program. Luckily I was able to qualify and I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket and I have been saving so much money over the last 3 years. Eversource still owes me money and and he is now helping me get connected with mass save for other benefits. He's always kept in contact over the years I consider him a friend now. I would highly recommend sunrun and Ron if you are considering solar!

This is the second time I go Solar. Thus, I would consider myself experienced, having already gone through a previous solar purchase. I have to give my sales guy, Anthony G, major kudos! He delivered on so many levels. First, he got me a quality system that will perform to my needs. During the consultation, he listened to my needs & delivered a superior product and at a reasonable cost. Second, he coordinated the entire process every step of the way! He literally handled every phase of the project making it easy & painless for us. He was always available to handle any questions and/or issues that needed to get resolved thereby eliminating the hassle of calling around and getting transferred until you reach someone in charge. He even showed up the day of install to ensure everything went smoothly. Anthony’s customer service is definitely above & beyond that of anyone I’ve experienced. Unlike, other salesman that disappear after the contract is signed, Anthony was there for us every step of the way. Sunrun should be proud to have a valued employee like Anthony. We shopped around with other solar companies but decided to go with Sunrun solely because of Anthony & he did not disappoint. I highly recommend Anthony & sunrun.

When I answered the door to Faysal D [Energy Consultant] as he was trying to do his sales call, I told myself that I would be doing it as a courtesy. I am aware that investing in a solar panel system would cost a lot. But Faysal did a great job of explaining and showing me how going solar would be cost-efficient and the better choice. Within a week, he was able to arrange everything to facilitate approval for lease of the system. The roof inspection however, showed that there are certain parts of the roof that need repairs thus, a lease of the system is not possible. Deadend? Not at all. Faysal went out of his way to find ways to make the solar switch possible. He recommended that roof replacement be part of the deal. While this would now involve investing in [not leasing] the system, he was able to get approval for a financially-sound deal. The roof replacement was carried out by Classic Roofing Inc. and was completed within a day! The service and the job deserve a separate review and I am more than happy with how it was completed. Installation of the solar panels/system was immediately carried out and again, fast - Sunrun indeed consistently delivered a service that I am happy. Currently, I am waiting for the final inspection and the electricity service provider's part in having us join the other households stop tons of toxic greenhouse gases from being released in the atmosphere. Yes, we are happy to help save the environment and Sunrun made it possible.

I had started to shop around for a solar company, was thinking about purchasing a system from another company, but was feeling pressured. Then at Costco in Oakbrook, and someone was at a new kiosk on the way out. This person was extremely knowledgeable, so considering how I was feeling about the other company, I set up a sales call. Ben J came out and talk about knowing his stuff. He asked me a few questions, saw I didn't use that much electricity, so set me up with a 20 yr lease as he said it didn't make sense for me to purchase, and when I sold down the line, the lease would move to the next owner. Every step was set up quickly, and went so smoothly as each technician were such pros. I cannot recommend them highly enough on just their own work and customer service, but knowing Costco thinks they are good enough to back up SunRun for as long as they have out West and in California where they both started out, is another excellent reason. To me, you cannot go wrong!

I started the evaluating process in November and signed a contract in December. design and plans were provided to me in also i n December. Work began 1st week in January with some roof tile replacement (at no cost to me) and panel/inverter install the within the next 2 weeks. There was a short lag time waiting for inspections from building dept. and city of Henderson. I was placed online by mid February and been cranking out kw's since. During this whole process , I was constantly kept informed of the install progress. To date , the system is producing the power that they promised and even extra. Since March , NV Energy owes me a power rebate. I couldn't be more satisfied. Be sure to request critter guards with the installation.

I had three solar companies come out in one day to pitch their companies and Assitant from Sun Run was the only one that gave a presentation from an education point of view and not a sales point of view. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and did not try to upsell us. He made sure we understood everything we needed to understand and didn’t get too far in the weeds with information. The timeline he gave me in his presentation was exactly on and he was realistic and made sure everything went smoothly and according to plan. He was there to answer any questions I had after the presentation and after the installation came out to make sure that we understood what was happening and answer any follow-up questions that we might’ve had with the new equipment and help us with our new equipment. I would recommend Sun Run completely and, tell my friends they should use them I am that satisfied.

I have had my system for concerning four Years. Each step of the method was a breeze with Sun Run. He was terribly knowledgeable and patient with ME as I asked all of my queries and created my call. They were out at my house at the tip of the week putting in the system, and finished in but on a daily basis. Once the system was interconnected Ricky came back and walked ME through the system and helped ME found out the app to observe my system. I even have been creating a a lot of electricity than I will presumably use, and that i am excited with my system. My entire expertise with Sun Run was nice and that i would extremely advocate them to anyone wanting into star.

I i will give the five out of five stars reviews, currently I perceive why. the complete employees was awful, application, installation, and setup was seamless from begin to complete and client service is high notch.These guys are amazing and don't use high pressure sales tactics, Sunrun was extremely knowledgeable on Solar Technology and associated equipment. They help you understand Solar Power in simple terms and explain exactly how it can save you money while increasing the value of your home. As a Techie I'm big on learning everything about the equipment being used and Sunrun uses extremely high quality components! Their Panels are Australian Solar, the Inverters and Optimizes use Solar Edge HD Wave technology with the ability to monitor performance of each individual panel, I will highly recommend them to anyone interested in solar sunrun.Excellent company that actually cares about their customers.

I'd wanted solar for 40-some years, finally got the opportunity, and am thrilled. First of all, I was delighted with the knowledge, professionalism, prompt text responses, and polite manner of Daren, my sales rep, and everyone else who came to my home to do the site assessment and installation. I had solar panels installed on Feb. 19, 2019. I'm leaving feedback after receiving my first electricity utility (SMECO) bill for the first full month I've had solar energy. For 3/10-4/9, my bill was -$8.26 (a credit)! Last year, my SMECO bill for the same time period was $143.58. Subtracting my credit from Sunrun's PPA automatic-debit monthly bill of $94.92 (the 0% escalator plan) gives $86.66--an overall savings of $56.92 over last year's monthly bill. And that's just one month's savings! What's not to like? I am so happy to have gone solar, be helping the planet, and saving money, too. It seems like a no-brainer to me.

It is so refreshing to find people that are truly honest. About 5 years ago I researched Solar for my home and could not see where it was going to save me anything worthwhile. Out of over a dozen companies that I interviewed not one would admit that they couldn’t save me money. Recently I was told that the cost of the systems has become more affordable, their efficiency, and their quality have improved. So far, I have been seeing the same trend. Some salesman will try to show me systems that only produce enough power to just offset my peak usage. Whether I buy the system, lease, or just use a solar company in place of my utility service like they tell me, I just don’t see the savings. This morning I interviewed with Sunrun Solar. Their Representative ran my numbers, KWH used and how much I spend for electricity. He was the first person to show me why solar won’t save me much money. He explained everything in simple easy to understand terms. I use a load controller and budget my usage so that my bill is kept to a minimum. If you are considering Solar, I highly recommend that you call Sunrun. At least the representative I met with is very knowledgeable and has been doing it long enough to know what he is doing. Sunrun fulfilled everything promised and more. The sales agent, Noah, followed through on everything in a professional and timely manner. The installation team said install would take a day and it took only half a day. The installation was top notch and the explanation of how to operate the system was thorough. It’s winter and our system is producing 85 to 90% of peak power. When spring and summer arrives our output should exceed expectations. To make all this even greater the rebates from Costco saved us nearly $1100. I already referred Sunrun to our neighbors and their system was just installed. I can’t recommend enough Sunrun system purchased through Costco.

I am writing this review as a customer and a retired contractor of 30 years from Pa. Have winter home in Fl. where panels were installed. This review is covering installation. Will update as time goes on. Team No Limit as they called themselves, did the install. They arrived on time and I can not say enough about theses gentlemen. Hector,Raymond, Chris and Nick. Were true professionals. Answered all my additional questions. They were always courteous and friendly. They are all business and professional. Each had a job and they worked together like a well oiled machine. They hardly talked to each other. Each was ready and knew his job duties. When job was completed, site was clean as it was when they arrived. They thanked me for choosing Sunrun and each one shook my hand before they left and asked if all the work was done to my complete satisfaction. . As a past contractor I could not have asked for a better crew. The rest of the Sunrun team Joe , Matt, Jose, Job well done . Oh, must apologize there was a Female rep. I have forgotten her name but I am sure the company will know she was involved with my install. She was very helpful. Took care to see if all was going well. Sorry for my lapse in memory. If you are considering solar this is the company to contact. I researched all the materials they use and they have the best on the present day market. Warranty,the best period...

Today I received our electric bill and it showed that we are using 2% more energy than our neighbors. I live with my elderly father and my adult brother with Down Syndrome and both have medical issues that require electronic monitoring, a cool environment and other factors that cause us to use a lot of electricity. I have spoken to several companies today that all promised me much lower bills with their solar programs and in the end all of them left me feeling confused and most of all, pressured. After reading the reviews for Sunrun, I had to try one more company. Peter P (from the Scottsdale center) called me and was by FAR the most honest salesman I have ever encountered! After we discussed my situation, he asked me several questions that none of the others asked...….. they just wanted me to commit to a home visit IMMEDIATELY!! Once Peter realized that we are on the CARE program, he explained that we probably wouldn't save much money using solar AND HE EVEN TOLD ME ABOUT ANOTHER PROGRAM WE MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR!!! I am also in sales and pride myself on my honesty and integrity in my work and know a good salesperson when I hear one ......today's call was so FAR ABOVE my expectations! Peter P could have easily made his appointment quota if he wanted to. If he is a representative of this companies ethics, SunRun is the company to go with!

**SATISFIED CUSTOMER-AMAZING EXPERINCE WITH SUNRUN** I decided to go solar when my SCE bill spiked in February. I spoke to Chris K., Senior Regional Consultant at SUNRUN Murrieta Branch regarding the procedures, amount of solar panels that are needed and how much we would be saving. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. From the time I signed the contract with SUNRUN, I received a phone call from Genevieve, Project Coordiantor, about the design, HOA Approval Request, building permit and the installation expectation. Once we received the permit approval, I received a phone call phone Ainsley to schedule the installation. A few days later, William and his team showed up to install 20 panels and an inverter, which only took 5 hours to complete. A few days later, Alex, SUNRUN Electrician came to inspect the installation with the county inspector. Prior to their departure I was notified that we have passed the inspection. Two days after that I received Permission to Operate (PTO) from SCE. Within 10 days, my solar panels produced enough energy to cover my monthly usage.
