Ron knocked my door about 3 years ago with another gentleman and I usually don't Like to do business at the door like that but he was very personable so I let him in. After he broke down how things worked I was really interested in seeing if my home qualified for the program. Luckily I was able to qualify and I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket and I have been saving so much money over the last 3 years. Eversource still owes me money and and he is now helping me get connected with mass save for other benefits. He's always kept in contact over the years I consider him a friend now. I would highly recommend sunrun and Ron if you are considering solar!

This is the second time I go Solar. Thus, I would consider myself experienced, having already gone through a previous solar purchase. I have to give my sales guy, Anthony G, major kudos! He delivered on so many levels. First, he got me a quality system that will perform to my needs. During the consultation, he listened to my needs & delivered a superior product and at a reasonable cost. Second, he coordinated the entire process every step of the way! He literally handled every phase of the project making it easy & painless for us. He was always available to handle any questions and/or issues that needed to get resolved thereby eliminating the hassle of calling around and getting transferred until you reach someone in charge. He even showed up the day of install to ensure everything went smoothly. Anthony’s customer service is definitely above & beyond that of anyone I’ve experienced. Unlike, other salesman that disappear after the contract is signed, Anthony was there for us every step of the way. Sunrun should be proud to have a valued employee like Anthony. We shopped around with other solar companies but decided to go with Sunrun solely because of Anthony & he did not disappoint. I highly recommend Anthony & sunrun.

When I answered the door to Faysal D [Energy Consultant] as he was trying to do his sales call, I told myself that I would be doing it as a courtesy. I am aware that investing in a solar panel system would cost a lot. But Faysal did a great job of explaining and showing me how going solar would be cost-efficient and the better choice. Within a week, he was able to arrange everything to facilitate approval for lease of the system. The roof inspection however, showed that there are certain parts of the roof that need repairs thus, a lease of the system is not possible. Deadend? Not at all. Faysal went out of his way to find ways to make the solar switch possible. He recommended that roof replacement be part of the deal. While this would now involve investing in [not leasing] the system, he was able to get approval for a financially-sound deal. The roof replacement was carried out by Classic Roofing Inc. and was completed within a day! The service and the job deserve a separate review and I am more than happy with how it was completed. Installation of the solar panels/system was immediately carried out and again, fast - Sunrun indeed consistently delivered a service that I am happy. Currently, I am waiting for the final inspection and the electricity service provider's part in having us join the other households stop tons of toxic greenhouse gases from being released in the atmosphere. Yes, we are happy to help save the environment and Sunrun made it possible.

I had started to shop around for a solar company, was thinking about purchasing a system from another company, but was feeling pressured. Then at Costco in Oakbrook, and someone was at a new kiosk on the way out. This person was extremely knowledgeable, so considering how I was feeling about the other company, I set up a sales call. Ben J came out and talk about knowing his stuff. He asked me a few questions, saw I didn't use that much electricity, so set me up with a 20 yr lease as he said it didn't make sense for me to purchase, and when I sold down the line, the lease would move to the next owner. Every step was set up quickly, and went so smoothly as each technician were such pros. I cannot recommend them highly enough on just their own work and customer service, but knowing Costco thinks they are good enough to back up SunRun for as long as they have out West and in California where they both started out, is another excellent reason. To me, you cannot go wrong!

I started the evaluating process in November and signed a contract in December. design and plans were provided to me in also i n December. Work began 1st week in January with some roof tile replacement (at no cost to me) and panel/inverter install the within the next 2 weeks. There was a short lag time waiting for inspections from building dept. and city of Henderson. I was placed online by mid February and been cranking out kw's since. During this whole process , I was constantly kept informed of the install progress. To date , the system is producing the power that they promised and even extra. Since March , NV Energy owes me a power rebate. I couldn't be more satisfied. Be sure to request critter guards with the installation.

I had three solar companies come out in one day to pitch their companies and Assitant from Sun Run was the only one that gave a presentation from an education point of view and not a sales point of view. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and did not try to upsell us. He made sure we understood everything we needed to understand and didn’t get too far in the weeds with information. The timeline he gave me in his presentation was exactly on and he was realistic and made sure everything went smoothly and according to plan. He was there to answer any questions I had after the presentation and after the installation came out to make sure that we understood what was happening and answer any follow-up questions that we might’ve had with the new equipment and help us with our new equipment. I would recommend Sun Run completely and, tell my friends they should use them I am that satisfied.

I have had my system for concerning four Years. Each step of the method was a breeze with Sun Run. He was terribly knowledgeable and patient with ME as I asked all of my queries and created my call. They were out at my house at the tip of the week putting in the system, and finished in but on a daily basis. Once the system was interconnected Ricky came back and walked ME through the system and helped ME found out the app to observe my system. I even have been creating a a lot of electricity than I will presumably use, and that i am excited with my system. My entire expertise with Sun Run was nice and that i would extremely advocate them to anyone wanting into star.

Great company! I i will give the five out of five stars reviews, currently I perceive why. the complete employees was awful, application, installation, and setup was seamless from begin to complete and client service is high notch.These guys are amazing and don't use high pressure sales tactics, Sunrun was extremely knowledgeable on Solar Technology and associated equipment. They help you understand Solar Power in simple terms and explain exactly how it can save you money while increasing the value of your home. As a Techie I'm big on learning everything about the equipment being used and Sunrun uses extremely high quality components! Their Panels are Australian Solar, the Inverters and Optimizes use Solar Edge HD Wave technology with the ability to monitor performance of each individual panel, I will highly recommend them to anyone interested in solar sunrun.Excellent company that actually cares about their customers.

I'd wanted solar for 40-some years, finally got the opportunity, and am thrilled. First of all, I was delighted with the knowledge, professionalism, prompt text responses, and polite manner of Daren, my sales rep, and everyone else who came to my home to do the site assessment and installation. I had solar panels installed on Feb. 19, 2019. I'm leaving feedback after receiving my first electricity utility (SMECO) bill for the first full month I've had solar energy. For 3/10-4/9, my bill was -$8.26 (a credit)! Last year, my SMECO bill for the same time period was $143.58. Subtracting my credit from Sunrun's PPA automatic-debit monthly bill of $94.92 (the 0% escalator plan) gives $86.66--an overall savings of $56.92 over last year's monthly bill. And that's just one month's savings! What's not to like? I am so happy to have gone solar, be helping the planet, and saving money, too. It seems like a no-brainer to me.

It is so refreshing to find people that are truly honest. About 5 years ago I researched Solar for my home and could not see where it was going to save me anything worthwhile. Out of over a dozen companies that I interviewed not one would admit that they couldn’t save me money. Recently I was told that the cost of the systems has become more affordable, their efficiency, and their quality have improved. So far, I have been seeing the same trend. Some salesman will try to show me systems that only produce enough power to just offset my peak usage. Whether I buy the system, lease, or just use a solar company in place of my utility service like they tell me, I just don’t see the savings. This morning I interviewed with Sunrun Solar. Their Representative ran my numbers, KWH used and how much I spend for electricity. He was the first person to show me why solar won’t save me much money. He explained everything in simple easy to understand terms. I use a load controller and budget my usage so that my bill is kept to a minimum. If you are considering Solar, I highly recommend that you call Sunrun. At least the representative I met with is very knowledgeable and has been doing it long enough to know what he is doing. GOOD LUCK!

Sunrun fulfilled everything promised and more. The sales agent, Noah, followed through on everything in a professional and timely manner. The installation team said install would take a day and it took only half a day. The installation was top notch and the explanation of how to operate the system was thorough. It’s winter and our system is producing 85 to 90% of peak power. When spring and summer arrives our output should exceed expectations. To make all this even greater the rebates from Costco saved us nearly $1100. I already referred Sunrun to our neighbors and their system was just installed. I can’t recommend enough Sunrun system purchased through Costco.

I am writing this review as a customer and a retired contractor of 30 years from Pa. Have winter home in Fl. where panels were installed. This review is covering installation. Will update as time goes on. Team No Limit as they called themselves, did the install. They arrived on time and I can not say enough about theses gentlemen. Hector,Raymond, Chris and Nick. Were true professionals. Answered all my additional questions. They were always courteous and friendly. They are all business and professional. Each had a job and they worked together like a well oiled machine. They hardly talked to each other. Each was ready and knew his job duties. When job was completed, site was clean as it was when they arrived. They thanked me for choosing Sunrun and each one shook my hand before they left and asked if all the work was done to my complete satisfaction. . As a past contractor I could not have asked for a better crew. The rest of the Sunrun team Joe , Matt, Jose, Job well done . Oh, must apologize there was a Female rep. I have forgotten her name but I am sure the company will know she was involved with my install. She was very helpful. Took care to see if all was going well. Sorry for my lapse in memory. If you are considering solar this is the company to contact. I researched all the materials they use and they have the best on the present day market. Warranty,the best period...

Today I received our electric bill and it showed that we are using 2% more energy than our neighbors. I live with my elderly father and my adult brother with Down Syndrome and both have medical issues that require electronic monitoring, a cool environment and other factors that cause us to use a lot of electricity. I have spoken to several companies today that all promised me much lower bills with their solar programs and in the end all of them left me feeling confused and most of all, pressured. After reading the reviews for Sunrun, I had to try one more company. Peter P (from the Scottsdale center) called me and was by FAR the most honest salesman I have ever encountered! After we discussed my situation, he asked me several questions that none of the others asked...….. they just wanted me to commit to a home visit IMMEDIATELY!! Once Peter realized that we are on the CARE program, he explained that we probably wouldn't save much money using solar AND HE EVEN TOLD ME ABOUT ANOTHER PROGRAM WE MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR!!! I am also in sales and pride myself on my honesty and integrity in my work and know a good salesperson when I hear one ......today's call was so FAR ABOVE my expectations! Peter P could have easily made his appointment quota if he wanted to. If he is a representative of this companies ethics, SunRun is the company to go with!

**SATISFIED CUSTOMER-AMAZING EXPERINCE WITH SUNRUN** I decided to go solar when my SCE bill spiked in February. I spoke to Chris K., Senior Regional Consultant at SUNRUN Murrieta Branch regarding the procedures, amount of solar panels that are needed and how much we would be saving. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. From the time I signed the contract with SUNRUN, I received a phone call from Genevieve, Project Coordiantor, about the design, HOA Approval Request, building permit and the installation expectation. Once we received the permit approval, I received a phone call phone Ainsley to schedule the installation. A few days later, William and his team showed up to install 20 panels and an inverter, which only took 5 hours to complete. A few days later, Alex, SUNRUN Electrician came to inspect the installation with the county inspector. Prior to their departure I was notified that we have passed the inspection. Two days after that I received Permission to Operate (PTO) from SCE. Within 10 days, my solar panels produced enough energy to cover my monthly usage. Unless your a verified purchaser of a solar system by Sunrun then your probably a relative of one of the other companies offering solar and bashing a good company who really cares about there customers. Anyways I had Greg over and he was transparent during the consultation. I cancelled my other 2 appointments because of that. I’m going with them and can’t wait to help Mother Earth by going green. Down payment of 1k has been put down and the ball is rolling. I’ll do another review after it’s all buttoned up. Going all cash saved me a ton along with the tax credit I’ll receive in 2019 for 2018. To all the verified purchasers most of them gave 5 stars so please don’t do a review unless you have been verified as a purchaser because it’s a waste of my time to read them!!!!

I was installed with Sunrun in October 2017. My project went very smooth. I bought my house 3 years ago and getting my brand new roof was scary, but Sunrun was professional and took care of my roof the way a roofing company would. My first month installed my system was producing as promised. I have not had a month go by that was not fully covered by my solar. I would recommend anyone looking to go Solar to consider Sunrun first. Now that PNM has passed another rate increase, I am pleased that I am worry free of that burden! The only thing that was delayed through the project was PNM on doing their part, but HEY that is why I moved on!

Installation was fast and excellent. I know something about things electrical, electronic and structural, so I watched closely. Production in the winter was quite low, although I boosted it by using a snow rake to remove snow from panels after storms. Bottom line: they guaranteed production of at least 89% of our previous year's (before panels) consumption. Now a year has passed, and Sun Run installation produced over the guaranteed KWH's; in fact over 100% the basis for the 89% guarantee. If the panels had under-produced, I would have not been so happy because Sun Run refunds under production at a slightly lower rate than they charge for the guaranteed production. As I said, in our case, no problem. One only saves a little money, but that is not the point. the point is that we have reduced out electrical carbon footprint to zero. That is, we put more into th grid than we used.

Our experience with Sunrun was excellent! From the initial sales presentation through the installation, and follow up, the service left nothing to be desired. We were ecstatic to see our first bill of 98 cents! We were going to use cash from a refi, but their loan option was even better (The power of Costco!) We can pay it off as fast as we want with no penalty. No matter how much we choose to pay per month, we end up saving hugely! Let them run your numbers, and you'll see! ...And they cover maintenance and repair for the first 20 years, with the option to pay them monthly to continue covering all maintenance and any repairs!

My experience with sunrun has been wonderful!!! When I saw the sales force outside Home Depot, my first thought was to go out a different door to avoid them. By the time I left, my thought had changed to it wouldn't hurt to learn a more about solar energy. Now I'm so happy that I am a sunrun customer! The salesperson estimated that the solar panel design he developed for my house would take care of about 95% of my use. Actually, over 100% of my electrical use was provided during my first year. He volunteered an aerial view and technical write-up to help me with my HOA architectural review. The young looking installation group worked quietly and efficiently in placing all the panels on the roof and connecting the lines and new meters. At every stage all my questions (and all the questions of the neighbors) were answered pleasantly and fully. My only complaint is probably with the SC legislature as the utility company SCE&G only paid me about 25% as much for my excess kilowatt-hours as they charge us customers for the kilowatt-hours we use. Sunrun has more than met all expectations in my solar experience. I've saved some money for sure, but more importantly I'm using God's natural sunlight and leaving other energy resources for future generations!

I can't say enough GOOD things about this company. Jon, our representative was awesome, he really took the time to explain everything. Everything went quickly once our county and electric provider approved everything. They came out and installed the entire system in 1 day. And the best part is the panels look great, there is no shiny silver wiring showing on the roof or exterior of the house like I've seen on other company's installation. They only thing that you can see on our roof is the black panels themselves, everything else is hidden. Now that we have been using the system for approximately a month we really love it, we especially love the app that lets you see how much energy you are producing in a given day. Great company, I would and have recommended them to all of our friends and family.

I had "turned away" about a dozen solar company "salesmen" over the past few years after they said "I don't know" when asked questions about the panels, the installation, the inverter, or other important aspects of going "solar". Sunrun was the first company that had ALL the answers to my questions and made the process easy to understand. They handled all the permits/reg.s and partnering with PG&E was seamless. They waited for my approval every step of the way, and worked with me for the "design configuration" of the panel installation and kept the "street-view" unchanged from pre-solar appearance. They delivered and installed the equipment without any problems and workmanship was top-notch. I had no "issues" with going solar because they KNEW what to do, and how to do it the best way possible. It has been almost 1 year since my installation and I am VERY pleased with the results.

had called serval solar company's this is the one I choose , why, be cause they explain things that other companies didn't like most has to hook up to youre internet this one does not , they have their own which is one plus , two the time it took to install and hook up and start up was fast , I would recommend them because they do the right things they do not push , they allow you time to shop and get the facts , I have had our system up since October of 2016 and this is march and we are going strong , infact PG&E isn't liking us right now when it comes to the true up I doubt I owe PG&E anything .the installation group the wookies was awesome , no issue professional and great people thanks sunrun from newman ca

We purchased our Sunrun system through Costco, which made the whole process very easy. Because Costco was behind the program, we didn't worry about the company being a fly-by-night concern nor getting any glitches resolved. Sunrun was here when they said they would be, did what they said they would do, installed everything quickly and efficiently and we are now approaching our one year true-up with PG&E. If true-up were today, we would owe less than $25 TOTAL for electricity for the past ten months. With hotter weather on the way, we expect to actually receive a little money back from PG&E instead of owing them anything. The Sunrun system has worked perfectly, with NO issues at all. One of the best parts is, the company IS a roofing company and they offer a 15 year roof penetration warranty on their installations. We received the service, peace of mind and our money's worth!

For over 40 years, I have been extremely concerned about our environment as well as individual conservation efforts. Being a middle class American, I have made many efforts along these lines, but due to the expense, I never thought I would be fortunate enough to have solar panels. Thanks to Sunrun, that is no longer the case. My panels have been operating for about three weeks now, and already they have generated more KWHs than I used the previous month without them. These are very very impressive results. For someone who cares deeply about the environment, the fact that my panels are generating a lot more power than I'm using---that is a dream that has become reality.

All I can say is that the Sunrun programs sell themselves. From my first discussion the value was obvious as accepting free money - it seemed too good to be true but has worked out exactly as promised thus far. My electric bill fell from the mid $300s to the low $200s with solar installed but not connected to the grid. Now that my system is on the grid I'm not paying for grid energy and my total bill for solar is less than 1/2 my old electric bill...this summer the reduction will be even bigger! Not to say everyone will have the same experience but my system was installed ONE WEEK after I signed the contract - unbelievable! Utility connection to the grid took another month but that was expected. I can't believe I waited this long to find this program...a review of your home for solar costs nothing but an hour of your time - take the time and your monthly budget will thank you.

I have had Sunrun for about a year and a half. Having solar has saved me hundreds of dollars already. With any service there have been a few hiccups along the way. This review is about the customer service I have received. We recently received a lot of rain for the first time since my system was installed. I noticed a water spot forming on my ceiling. I contacted my sales rep LAUREN MORGANSTEIN on a Saturday. She messaged me back almost immediately giving me the info I needed to have service come out. Service was there Early Monday morning. Blew my mind. They inspected my roof and found that it was not from the solar but more of the flashing on the roof. Roofing company confirmed. Lauren has always gone out of her way to take care of me as a customer two years after she sold me the system. Sunrun's service was quick and the guys went out of their way to find the issues with my roof. Happy Customer!

We had a residential solar PV system installed on our home. Sunrun's offering had competitive pricing and their sales rep (Len Olson) was very knowledgable, informative, transparent and responsive. Their analysis team was prompt, competent and courteous and came back with a solid proposal for how to make the most power while meeting our aesthetic needs. Their installation team was top-rate, quick, competent and even dealt very effectively with some stumbling by our local electrical inspector. Our installation is cleanly laid out and well done. It took sunrun three days to install the system. The men worked steady and knew just what to do. Then I had to wait for BGE to come out and change the meter (6 weeks) before I was using the Sun for power. From what I see now, I should have done this years ago. I've only used 2000k in 50plus days and it's the winter time of the year. I received my BGE bill the other day and it stated that I owed them nothing for Nov. except for the contract for my two units. I know this isn't going to be the case the rest of the winter but it looks promising. This spring and summer will tell a better story when the sun stays up longer. The people at sunrun have been very helpful. They have checked on me to see if I need anything and how thing are. I would highly recommend them to anybody and have. I wish this company the best and good luck in the future.

I'm very impressed! In the beginning I was a bit skeptical. It sounded like a straight sales pitch, "Too good to be true". No money needed up front. I explained to the man standing at my front door that I had NO cash to put toward anything, but that I would be interested in lowering my monthly energy expenses. Things progressed, without any involvement from me, other than receiving updates of the progress. The team came to my home at the appointed time and did the inspection and evaluation. They notified me that my house would be a good candidate for solar. The installation team came to my home at the appointed time, worked around my schedule, notified me when it would be completed, and it was completed at the estimated time. They explained the process and showed me how to turn on the system once the final inspection was completed. I then got notification that inspectors would be coming. They sent me and email when all was ready to go and all I did was go outside and flip the switch. Within minutes, it showed me that I was producing energy. It cost me nothing out of pocket. Everyone involved was very professional, punctual and true to their word. The communication was above and beyond my expectations! I was constantly "up to date" on all activities taking place in the background. My first energy bill after installation, was $95 (expected lease with SunRun) and $24 from Duke Energy. total was approximately $45 less than my "normal" energy bill for this time of year. I'm very pleased with the whole SunRun system, sales, administration, installation team, and finally, energy production!! Thank you SunRun!!

Our a solar system was installed by Sunrun in Sept 2014 purchased through Costco.. The installation of 21 panels took a day and a half, even though the temperature was well over 100 degrees. There was a large crew of at least ten men installing the panels and electricians setting up the electrical. We took advantage of the 30% tax credit. We produce almost all of our energy now. Our electric bill is approximatelyt $10.00 per month for use of the power grid and any unused energy is banked for a period of 12 months. We couldn't be happier with our system and the service we received. We would highly recommend Sunrun to anyone.

I had been looking into getting a solar system install on my home for a year and a half. I had talk to several solar company and I just didn't have a good feeling with them from their salesman to their products, service, and guarantee / warranty and no communication from their customer service at all. But when I talk to Sunrun about their programs, product and the great customer service that I received was above and beyond what I expected. Sunrun kept me informed every step of the way during the whole process of my installation and they took care of everything all the way up to the system being turned on. It was always easy to make contact with them if you needed help in understanding something. The work they did for my install was outstanding. Great company to do business with. My son have had solar install on his home from Sunrun also.

The decision to go with a Sunrun power purchase plan turned out far better than I expected. We received a $0 utility bill for the first full month since the permit to operate and had a huge power credit to apply in the power hungry summer months. On a bright sunny day we currently produce three times the power we consume. On a cloudy day, our system still produces about what we use that day on average. The whole installation went extremely smoothly and even our utility has been highly cooperative. This was truly a "no brainer" decision that everyone who has unshaded roof exposure should consider. We have a 45 panel 12 kW system, which is on the large side and would have been very costly to purchase outright. The zero cost power purchase plan made the most sense for us.

Well, I don't know that I would call a "10" awesome rather than excellent, but there isn't anything I can think of that would have been an improvement. I received responsive and informative communication from the beginning. I had some specific questions about "qualifying" my system at the highest capacity possible with PG&E, since I had only recently bought an all-electric car and my prior year usage record did not reflect the increase in usage that I knew I would experience. The questions got answered with referral to an experienced manager at SunRun. The installation foreman and team were on time, organized, courteous, and left the work area clean. The website where I monitor my daily production is a breeze to use. I highly recommend SunRun.

My neighbor was considering the purchase of a solar system from Sunrun and asked for my opinion. He provided me with the information Sunrun had given him and wanted to know if he was missing anything. I gave him 2 or 3 additional questions and asked him to let me know how Sunrun responded. When he gave me the answers to my questions I asked him for the name of his sales representative. I called the sales representative on a Friday morning and we made an appointment for that afternoon. My wife and I met with the sales representative for about an hour and purchased a solar system for our home. Buying is easy but then comes the installation and service, which are not always easy and can at times make you wish you hadn't made the purchase. This was not the case with Sunrun. They provided me with all of the information on how they would proceed with the installation and did what they said they would do on the date they said they would do it. The installation team headed by Gabriel was outstanding. For example; they wanted to put their equipment on the inside garage wall closest to the electrical meter on the outside of the wall. This is a requirement of the electric company. On that wall was 2 large ladders on hangers that I had installed. It was the only place that the equipment could be installed to meet the electrical company requirements. I gave them the approval to install it and without asking they removed the hangers and ladders, patched and painted the holes where the hangers had been installed and reinstalled them at a different but convenient location. In addition they did a better job of installing the hangers and ladders than I had done. They finished the installation on time, notified the electric company and came back prior to the electric company installation to show me exactly what was going to happen and how to turn the equipment on and off. They offered me another option by having Sunrun come out and turn the system on. Turning the system on was so simply I did it myself. Once installed I called the sales representative and asked him to come out and show me how to access the system from my computer so I could view the operation and output of the system. I will close by saying I'm a happy camper and feel I made a great financial decision with the right company. Thank you Sunrun.

When comparing the Sunrun Lease with competitors programs, Sunrun simply gives the customer the most peace of mind, which is important to me. Sunrun does a great job communicating with their customers before and after the project has been installed. Obviously, my friends, neighbors, and family were curious about solar after seeing my solar panels, and Sunrun rewards me with generous gift cards for referring my friends to them. I can't think of a more focused, stable, and customer-obsessed solar company than Sunrun. 10/10

We put Sunrun panels on our roof through Rising Sun on Maui, HI. We had a friend that used to be in the business. He did a lot of research and referred us to Rising Sun. We chose the prepaid option and couldn't have been happier. The whole process went smooth timing, installation, usage etc. Only wish we had done it sooner. We referred them to friends and received referral checks as promised. Due to jobs relocation we had to sell our home after only 1 1/2 years with Sunrun but the transfer to the new owner was quick and painless. We figured we probably received double the investment back in the sale price of home. We were so impressed that we are in the middle of added them to our new home on Kauai. They sold me a 2G/3G communications module in 2022 when 3G was officially obsoleted. It has now stopped communicating, and they are charging me $300 to upgrade to LTE. They do not warranty any of their equipment if you buy it.

If there was an option for half star or zero star that what Sunrun deserved, I have Sunrun solar system since 2018 for the first 4 years it works ok producing as per contract, in 2022 a few technician came saying the system is not reporting and all went down from there for the past 4 years Sunrun unable to fix the system and the entire system is down. Do yourself a favor and stay far from Sunrun, they are using cheap parts and meters if it break or stop working they cannot find replacement.

we just received an SCE electric bill for $4231. Apparently our system isn’t working. We initially installed 42 panels to make sure we had plenty of energy. I’m still attempting to get that technician to the house to find out what the problem could be. Sunrun is understaffed and it takes a long time to even get through to talk to anybody. We are not happy, but hope this can be resolved soon..

Dont get it, waste of money and time. I started the process in early September and they were not activated until june, and in june they started “working” but somehow SCE is not connected with them and i am paying for solar and for electricity and they tell me i have to wait? I cant speak to a supervisor because they are “unavailable” so i at a loss as to what to do. Please dont use sunrun i am Paying 300 more than i did with out solar, make that make sense

Sunrun is very eager to get your business, but after the installation starts the customer service stops! I have been trying to contact the District Manager in my area James M for 6 weeks without a single call back. I HAVE NEVER SPOKEN TO THE MAN. My system has been installed for 3 months now and we can not pass city inspection. We were told James M would contact us and set up an appointment to have an engineer come out but we have heard nothing to date. This is VERY Frustrating that I can’t even get a call back. SUNRUN has terrible customer service after they get your business.

Customer service was responsive but the installation process had some hitches. Unfortunately, my solar system has been down since January and I'm still waiting for parts. This has led to high electricity bills as I wait for repairs. Disappointed that the system stopped working after only 2 years. Hoping for a prompt response to fix the issue.

If I could give Sunrun "Zero" stars, that is what they deserve. This is the third residence with a Sunrun system. Started with them 2011. They are NOT the same company as far as service as in the past. Most recent system was installed October 2023. Nothing but trouble from the start. Inverter and battery replaced within a month. Battery was programed incorrectly and just exported its contents to the grid each night within 2 hours. Constantly called customer service and just got lip service and mis-information. System has now been completely down for two weeks. Still trying to get someone out. Appointments are scheduled but no one show up. Just given excuses but then told that my case was escalated to priority. Makes no difference. No help from regional or district managers.

I've been a member for 14 years, my system originally costed $54K and I've paid on it all this time. It has been down for 8 months with no repair happening anytime soon. All my efforts to get this system repaired has been in VAIN. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALTH WITH. I now just want out of my lease so I can move forward with another vendor. They claim I still owe $50K after 14 years of payment to get out of my lease for the last six years. NEVER USE SUNRUN. All they every say is it is escalated and for 8 months nothing happens. I am also very concern because I am on a well and must have electricity but where I live Edison can go down regularly and without solar I don't even have water. This situation does not even phase them.
