Actually, SunRun chose us. A door-to-door salesman showed me my electricity usage, which during the summer with A/C, was frightening. Under the current rebates to promote solar energy, the cost of installing solar panels was Zero. Now, instead of paying $500+ to my City during hot summer months to enjoy A/C, I pay a fraction of that to SunRun that I gladly pay. The installation process was quick, clean and unobtrusive. I had a SunRun rep always in contact with me answering my questions. Personally I was against solar panels, but now after a year of usage, I should have done solar years ago.

I chose to work with Sunrun because I approved of the customer reviews that I had read online. Yes, many reviews complain about poor post-installation customer support and long repair times. However, Sunrun representatives were able to provide immediate communication and service during the initial phases to gauge whether I were a candidate for the Sunrun solar program. A representative for Sunrun had approached me while I was shopping at Home Depot and was able to schedule a consultation that same day with an amicable young representative. That kind of immediacy was a giant green flag.

I got solar with Khelin at Sunrun since 2023 with a Tesla battery. It's been a great experience from the time I signed up until now. Every year I get power outages, especially during the hot summer heat. The battery has protected me from many power outages since then. I am also enjoying my electricity savings with my solar leasing program. I referred my families to go solar with Khelin as well. They also had wonderful experiences, saving money and protection from the many power outages. I would recommend Khelin Young to anyone who wants a great experience going solar.

We are seeing more and more of the problems created by global warming. It is so important that each of us take steps now to protect our world for our children and grandchildren by being environmentally clean. Sunrun was listed at Costco as a possible choice. We started renting our solar panels from Sunrun 3 years ago and have been very pleased with the company. They have readily answered our questions. They have given us free months when we powered extra energy. We feel secure that Sunrun will be here to fix or replace our panels if terrible weather were to damage them. When I hear what other families are paying for electricity in these 35 days over 100 degrees in Texas I feel thankful we bought from Sunrun when we did. Thank you Jane Nicol
