Superb Customer Service and Product! Mike T was so awesome; the way he described the features and the payment options of our new Solar System. The process to install was also quick and easy. Finally, the crew came out, made sure the roof was ready for the installation, and we were good to go very quickly. He followed up to make sure we were enjoying our new system soon after. I'd recommend SunRun to anyone wanting out of paying exhorbitant fees for electricity!

They offer a lease instead of buying the solar panels. We had a lot of difficulties at the beginning with installation and getting it all set up with the power company but they were very supportive and helpful. Their equipment does not come with fencing to keep the birds away so we had to have somebody come in and put wire around the outside and I think that should be part of the equipment.

I'm satisfied, it seems to be a good investment. The equipment works well. They did a good job with installation, they stayed with it until it worked. There was some delay in getting started but once they started it one or two days for the actual install and there was a problem and then it took two or three day for the tech change and it has been fine ever since.

Customer service has always been really prompt and able to give me the right answers or put me in touch with the right person. Installation went really well. The people were very knowledgeable and professional and stayed out of the way of other people in the house. They were generally very friendly. I have had any technical issues with the equipment.

Everyone from start to finish on the Sunrun team did exactly what they said they would do. All appointments were kept and everyone was so polite it was refreshing. We haven't had the installation long enough for me to recommend them as to savings and apparently I will not know if I am indeed saving money until 1 year has elapsed. I will know more at that time.

The people are great. Problem of reliability. First experience of losing PG&E line power, SunRun system went DEAD, (this is with battery backup). Eric (SunRun) engineer was able to troubleshoot the problem to 9V battery that powers an electronic computer board made by Solar Edge. Solar Edge was suppose to be monitoring our SunRun system but did not catch this problem. It seems the only way to verify that our system is working is via actual power outage and not through simulation (which is done when checking out the system; ie: turn main PG&E power breaker 'off & on'. We will not know if our 'solar system with battery backup' is actually working until we have an actual PG&E area power outage, which would only happen during some disaster, ie; power lines down, flooding, etc. This is not a good time to verify an emergency power backup system. Hopefully SunRun will remedy the design issue with Solar Edge in the near future.

When I talked to the representative they were fantastic. They had confidence in their numbers and were really professional so I signed up. I have 10 years of experience in the solar business. I'm an independent business owner that represents Zoom Solar and they use SunRun to do their installations. We already had a SunRun run facility in Bethlehem and I wanted to talk to them about getting another one installed up in Lake Harmony. It seems like they're not up there yet though. The representative that we talked to was very good. They were very professional and proactive when I called in for information regarding the process. From start to finish that takes about 3 months, with most of the process being related to permits. I feel very good about working with them. Since I work for Zoom Solar, I get a residual income every month for using the system.

When I moved to Phoenix I had a lot of companies come by offering solar. At church I actually talked with someone that turned out to be the manager for SunRun. Since I hadn't been around for too long, I wasn't really eligible for solar but once I hit the one year mark I talked to the SunRun manager and got everything figured out. All around they did a great job, everything was done seamlessly. I met a lot of representatives and they were all very polite and professional. They're extremely busy so sometimes it took them a little while to get back to me, but they always called back. The welder installation team did a fantastic job. There were a lot of things coming onto the roof and they did a very professional job. My electric bills are now lower.

I researched about 10 different companies and they came up with the best deal for me. We signed up for the service and it didn't cost me anything to get it up on the roof. Eric, the representative that I talked to, was absolutely perfect. He came all the way out of town substituting for someone else and did a great job. He came back out a second time because we needed to talk with him some more and he did a nice job.

We were just interested in solar, but we had heard horror stories from other people that had used other solar energy companies. The customer service rep that we talked to as very enlightening though. He came out to our house and explained everything to us. In the end we just decided to go with Sunrun. So far our experience has been excellent.

My original review is with the Better Business Bureau if you like to read it. I had multiple contacts with Sunrun. NOTHING isn't working properly, yet I'm paying my monthly payment. Sunrun staff have been at my house numerous times to fix the same item. Whether it was realigning the solar panels on the roof, hopefully my roof won't leak into the attic this winter. Sunrun or 3rd party came to enter the attic 6 times because something wasn't working properly, still isn't. They came 6 times to fix the electrical panel which still isn't working properly. They are coming back on October 8, 2024, because the coils are not working still, no savings yet from my electric company. The install was May 2025, apparently the go of system was July 25, 2024. What month are we in and nothing is communicating with each other, the solar is sending all energy to the Grid and not my home on the tesla app. I had to adjust my schedule numerous times for Sunrun to fix something, sometimes Sunrun wouldn't show up and if they did, it still wasn't fixed right. I have never been disappointed with a company like this. Plus no one knows how to communicate with each other. I had so many contact persons that stated only contact me, however someone else would contact me and state they will arrive Thursday to fix something and then my original contact person had no clue what was going on. The Fresno area needs to refocus and regroup the whole dynamics of the structure of the business. Very unprofessional and Zero customer service.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from the person sent to help with my tax income. Despite numerous attempts to contact them, I have been left frustrated and unable to complete my tax return. The customer service experience with Sun Run was disappointing. While the installation team did a good job, there was confusion regarding the billing process. Initially told there would only be one bill after the second set of panels were installed, the customer now faces the inconvenience of managing two separate bills. This lack of clarity and unexpected financial burden has left a negative impression on the overall experience with Sun Run.

I had a frustrating experience with the lack of follow-up calls from the company. While the installation process was satisfactory and the team did a good job cleaning up, there was an oversight in the design phase resulting in insufficient panels. As a result, I still have to pay my power bill every month, which is disappointing.

I DO SHARE AND SHOW MY NEIGHBORS AND FEEL BAD FOR THOSE THAT HAVE INADEQUATE AND OLD TECH. PUT IN. AND SOME THAT HAVE HAD LOTS OF PROBLEMS. I have not had to pay more than a $129 A month for my solar and that is a drop of over $300 I was Paying For electricity And I do not have to worry about Power outages due to broken lines or Someone saying we have to shut down power in areas to not Overtax the grid

They did exactly what they said they were going to do, quickly and efficiently. My system was up and running within weeks, and past inspection not too long after that. For anybody looking to save money on their monthly electric bill, I cannot recommend SunRun highly enough.

The overall experience was great. The dollars on roof look great. The wiring and battery look great. There were some stucco holes patches that could have used more detail. The one part I disliked was the painting. It was rushed and does not look professional. There are places where the paint seems to have been done to cover up only.

For the years 2022 and now 2024, Sunrun solar is more expensive than pulling off the grid. We live in Az and Sunrun customers for 10 yrs, initially the system was fine. But as it ages and breakdowns occur, the responsiveness is extremely poor (no correspondence, months of delays in repair) . This is the second time our inverter has gone down during the summer months and currently at 3 months (April through June) and still waiting for repair. The Sunrun end of year true-up for shortages is about 66% less than what the local power company charges us for electricity. Over 10 yrs we are averaging a savings, but have lost money 2 of the last 3 years.

The technicians were able to quickly identify and fix the problem with our system, which turned out to be a faulty wire. They efficiently resolved the issue by using an alternate wire, and our system has been functioning perfectly ever since. The installation process for SunRun went smoothly, and I am satisfied with the outcome. Overall, I am pleased with the service provided by the technicians and the performance of the system.
