LGCY is the best in the solar industry. They are the primary consultant team for Sunrun. I don't think this site understands that LGCY are the consults who provide such excellent service. Sunrun is #1 in solar and LGCY is the catapult to make that a reality. LGCY has a higher promoter score than Apple and Nordstrom. Either way solar is the way to go.

They installed my panels in December and I still do not have a permit for solar 3-17. UPDATE. It turns out it was the City inspectors fault that the inspection for the permit was delayed for 3 months, not LGCY. I am changing my rating to 5 stars. I was not charged for the solar panels as they get reimbursed from the power Co. Looking forward to saving $50 per month!!!

I like having a solar system on my house. Legacy seemed to have quality panels and it all looks very nice. The installation team did a great job. They were all Spanish speaking, however one of them knew some English and was able to answer some of my questions.

We haven’t had any problems with the Solar from the insulation open until today. The only time we had problems were when we had snow and ice, and after that melted, no problems at all.

When one of my inverters went bad, I promptly received a call from the tech and he came out and completed the service the same day without having to call in. Overall we had a very positive expect with the administrative side of LGCY and our sales rep. We had a small issue with the company contracted to complete the install, but once we made LGCY aware, it was swiftly addressed to satisfaction. Our solar system has been functioning as expected for the past year, and we would be more than happy to work with Josh and LGCY again. Josh was very knowledgeable about the steps of the process and kept us informed every step of the way.

The entire process of meeting with the sales person, arranging for the construction of the solar panels, day of installation going very smooth, arranging turning on with my local power company, and follow up monitoring by Legacy has all been excellent. One panel problem occurred this past year and it was resolved the same day I reported the issue. Thus I am very pleased with my decision.

I have worked with a number of companies, yet I have never experienced such poor scheduling, miscommunication, and misrepresentation. There appears to be a trend in that the poorest of service occurs in Central IL. Please note that my comments are not specifically directed at Ameren or the contractors (who were polite and understanding) or Everbright (who has been clear and helpful in the process). I had also shopped around for solar provided and chose LGCY based upon the data and assurances they made. I chose LGCY because they were set to replace my electrical panel (which needed to be done anyway) and I believe in the promise and responsibility of green energy. Please note that I had to pay a considerable amount out of pocket (~1500) to have a portion of a tree removed to ensure efficiency. I figured that this would be worth the $$, as the savings the representative showed me would cover that in the long run. However, they neglected to highlight that, while the Ameren bill would be lower, a bill would still need to be paid to Everbright. This was in the Everbright contract, but I assumed (since they also neglected to highlight they would be putting a mechanics lien on my home) this would still be worked through Ameren. I now know I should not have trusted or assumed given my experience with the company. The actual installation coordination was the biggest issue. Calling it a disaster would be too polite. There were reschedulings on multiple dates: 09/24/24 10/16/24 10/29/24 11/22/24 12/30/24 01/22/25 And that last date wasn't even their last visit. I am a remote employee so I a) need power to my home and b) have to make up the hours I miss or use vacation time/personal days to ensure I am here to let folks in and have everything set up. I also cancelled my holiday travel because they had to reschedule that installation to the 30th..and, if I recall correctly, that was the day that noone mysteriously showed up because they had fired or lost contact with the installer/electrician. I was given a name to call (Chris, who may have been the one let go) and was then given the name and number of Karen T (his supervisor, on the East Coast) who, even now 4 months later, has never returned my call or voicemail. On one of those dates above, they had an appointment for the next day and I had reached out the evening before because the equipment hadn't been redelivered. Despite this outreach, they did not cancel, a contractor showed up, and we had to reschedule. The actual installation (not connection) of the panels was on a Saturday. I was woken by their team without warning early in the morning ( I dont wake early on Saturdays, as I need to catch up on sleep). When they finally did the installation, I received multiple different answers as to how it would be set up. One person said it would take 16 hours, while another said 4-6. Overall, it took a couple different appointments to get the whole thing done. The city inspector and Ameren reps were champs in the process, though I could tell they were frustrated by the scheduling conflicts and misinformation as well (though they remained professional). Most of the installers were great too, especially the second to last guy they contracted through. Polite and professional. But these weren't LGCY employees. And at least one of the other contractors repeatedly left my back door open (understandable to be open to a point...but not the whole damn time especially when it was below freezing and Im paying a gas bill...) and left cigarette butts in my back yard and driveway. I spoke to folks who used other installers to get their solar panels. One person expressed that, when his installer had to reschedule, they offered him compensation for the time he took off work and the inconvenience. I asked LGCY if this was something they could do and was told they would look into it. Unsurprisingly, I never heard anything further about that. And, please note, I asked a few different times... I did hear that my sales rep took a hit on his commission to make my project happen, though I a) don't know if that's correct and b) question why he would have to do that when its the fault of both management and their scheduling team for most of the issues caused. I can't comment on the actual final costs just yet. I'm waiting to get my next Ameren bill and the new alleged bill on top of that from Everbright. But, even if I save a bit per month (which I am dubious of), it would not make this whole process worth it. That said, I still believe in the promise and opportunity of green energy as well as each person's responsibility to aid in the transition in some way. I believe the private market can also play a role here, and national statistics and researchers appear to agree (given the boom in solar tech and installations). However, it is also my responsibility as a consumer and participant in the broader economy to warn others of companies who behave incompetently or irresponsibly. If you're in central Illinois and you're considering solar, great. Just don't go through LGCY.

I loved how a representative kept in constant contact with us throughout the entire process! I never once questioned where we were in the process and if we were forgotten about. I would like to see us produce a bit more from the solar panels, but any question we have had have been answered promptly and we have been given great direction with who we need to talk to. I never felt pressured by the salesman, who was very transparent in the steps. All my many questions were answered and I was shown how my previous consumption would help in the decision for how many panels I would need. I was thrilled to learn I could save $10 off my bill by signing up for auto-pay, as I usually never do any auto-pay at all. Another added bonus was the easy pay addition of an all new updated electrical panel. The two companies that did the electric work and then the repair of the house stucco were fabulous. It was easy and seamless for me. Solar is a win win I suggest anyone reading this call Legacy now!

This company has the worst customer service from a Utah perspective. The Dallas area managers that work here for LGCY are amazing and but my initial experience and purchase was with Utah LGCY. You would think that they would be the same company and work together but they aren't. Worst experience and the solar program they promised me is not what I am getting I'm literally making double electricity payments than my previous electric provider. Worst decision I ever made. Still waiting to this day for someone to contact me back and every time I call they say they will call me back and they don't. I was coerced into getting this and was told you signed the document you can't go back even though solar wasn't even installed on my house yet. Ashton B or something like that from Utah made me feel like things were good and that he would fix any problem I have but he's living it up in his 2 story home getting rich off the little people and we have to suffer. I guarantee even though I'll keep a copy of this survey I won't ever be contacted to fix the problem. I also had the installers come and destroy my attic and leave it a mess. Broke holiday decorations and never came back to clean up the attic. Was told they have to walk on the beams so they need to see where they are but that's fine but you can put everything back where you got it and out all the insulation back where you got it.

I have had solar for almost three years now and it is the best decision we have made! Ashton Buswell was our salesman and while I know him personally, he delivered everything that he promised. I have had zero issues with the system and have just saved money on my electricity. We are all in a contract with SDGE already, so signing a co tract for a power purchase agreement isn’t really a change. I’m just paying less for electricity. I feel like this is a very smart investment, and something that anybody should strongly consider if you don’t have solar. Legacy Power is a great company and I highly recommend them everybody that asks.

From beginning to end, LGCY was very attentive and thorough, helping us get approved for solar through their provider. We've had an amazing experience with these panels. Based on our usage, LGCY accurately advised us how many panels to place on our house. Our bill is affordable and less than our average was with Edison. We havent had an Edison bill since! The team that BetterEarth sent from Cerritos, CA was top notch. The team of Saul, Ignacio, Rolando and Carlos were courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and their work showed great attention to detail. We were extremely pleased with the looks of the installation overall and would highly recommend them. When we had questions they took time to answer them making sure we understood and were satisfied with the answer. They were hindered by the of the local warehouse that they had to work with and were not given necessary equipment to work with. The second day they were here they informed us that another technician would have to bring and install a couple of parts that the warehouse apparently did not have. Overall we were extremely happy with the workmanship of the team of young men sent to our location. Thank you.

My husband was very confident with the value for the product. So far it's been great we haven't had any problems. I don't see any issues, it's been producing power well. It was really easy, they set up a time to come out and install and it was pretty much installed within a day. They have been great about answering all our questions, it's really easy to get a hold of them. There's really not that long of a wait time when I do call in, I've only had to do that like twice now and everything's usually straightened out within 24 hours.

Everybody was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They were able to put the panels where I wanted them.They were the only company that could have panels that work for my power needs. The salesman and the lead I guess the lead technician work is very good at explaining the entire process and kept me informed. Through the whole thing I had no worries or concerns during that installation.

It does everything that I was told that it would do so no surprises there. The installation process was was very smooth, Arcadia Solar put the system in and everything went without a hitch. IThe follow up was was pretty good and then my accounts sort of got handed off to Arcadia Solar and that who actually did the installation and got everything hooked up.

The sales staff that game to my home were very professional. They were Mark S. the sales rep, Brandon C. and Trish. They very knowledgeable and actually fun to be with. I highly recommend them and the company. Everything seems to be moving along the holdups on getting the system working is due to NVEnergy and the inspectors from Clark County and not from LGCY Power or the reps.

Lgcy has come through on everything but we are waiting for PG&E’s approval. They have done what they have promised and done it in a timely manner. I am very pleased with them. The salesman that came to my door honored all the covid stuff. He had a mask on and stayed his distant and he explained things very well. I could contact him if I had any additional questions.

Sales team tried to sell features that planning team doesn't use, planning team made poor designs based on shade of surrounding houses. 3rd party contractors did poor Job checking outputs during initial installation, as well as install/reinstall damaging shingles.

Crew from Valoer who performed the install was very courteous and professional, they let us know every day they were working and when they were leaving. The install ran a little slow due to weather and storms, and the crew worked beyond expectations to get the work done, coming back on the evening and weekend to get the job done. There were only 2 and neither spoke English very well so was rater difficult to converse with them. The work they did was good and they seemed efficient but we had questions and needed to make sure they didn't turn off power without notifying us because of my oxygen. What they did was very good but someone that was fluent in English should have been on site as well. As for dealing with LGCY that leaves alot to be desired. Your office personel did not identify herself or her company when communicating with me. I actually had to ask who sent me a text. I was not notified that I was going to have 2 different deliveries so I would have time to decide where to put a 2000lb pallet so I told semi driver just to put where my husband parks. Very poor communication with LGCY.

LGCY Power works great. When I called, they provided all the paperwork within a minute. The installation process was really smooth. The guys work really hard to help you. We had problems with the city inspectors not wanting to come out and the foreman took care of it.
