Hard to deal with especially when you're not planning on keeping the house forever there's all kind of loopholes where they want to keep you tied into the contract when they know you're trying to sell and move they just make it very difficult research the company very very well before you sign anything and have an attorney look at what you're signing because they do not give you a copy they say they're going to mail you a copy but they never do

From beginning to end, LGCY was very attentive and thorough, helping us get approved for solar through their provider. We've had an amazing experience with these panels. Based on our usage, LGCY accurately advised us how many panels to place on our house. Our bill is affordable and less than our average was with Edison. We havent had an Edison bill since! LGCY has also checked on us several times to make sure we are happy since our install 2 years ago. Thanks LGCY!

These folks were the best! I had previous offers that were WAY too much money, had no options, and insisted I either cut down my trees or pit panels on the roof of my 200 year old house! From the start their rep listened to what I had in mind and was agreeable to a ground panel. They made a plan, assessed the impact, arranged for the installation, and were great to work with! I have not had an electric bill in several months, now!

There were only 2 and neither spoke English very well so was rater difficult to converse with them. The work they did was good and they seemed efficient but we had questions and needed to make sure they didn't turn off power without notifying us because of my oxygen. What they did was very good but someone that was fluent in English should have been on site as well. As for dealing with LGCY that leaves alot to be desired. Your office personel did not identify herself or her company when communicating with me. I actually had to ask who sent me a text. I was not notified that I was going to have 2 different deliveries so I would have time to decide where to put a 2000lb pallet so I told semi driver just to put where my husband parks. Very poor communication with LGCY.

I have had my solar panels for over a year now and I am well pleased with the savings I am receiving. I do get less savings in the winter but that is understandable because of how short the days are and less direct sunlight. During peak months I get no actual electricity bill because of how much power my panels are generating and I love it. I would definitely recommend Legacy Power to anyone who is looking to get solar panels installed. The process took a little while, due to weather (winter) and city inspection but well worth it I believe.

They were great. The weather was iffy all day. Threatening rain in the morning with actual brief rain showers durning the afternoon. They were forced to stop during the showers but as soon as they could after the shower they completed the installation. Jesse was a great crew chief. He kept me informed and explained how to turn the system on once the final inspections were complete. I was very pleased with them and happy that I chose LGCY power.

LGCY was the company that handled all of the installation and processing for the solar. Sunnova handled the financing and contract side of things. LGCY came knocking on my door just like all other solar companies do to try and get your business. I had been researching solar for awhile, so I knew what to expect and what to look for. Salesman for LGCY was excellent, knew his stuff, took his time, answered all my questions, and followed through with everything he said he was going to do. My purchase was probably on the higher side when it comes to a 16.4 kW system, but I knew I was not going to find a better sales person who would take care of me. In addition, LGCY pays the first 6 months of your solar bill, so that was a plus. From contract signing to install was about 4 weeks. Install was frustrating because LGCY installers stepped through my ceiling while in the attic. Brand new house too, and they damaged it. LGCY did handle the repairs, but it took some time. At time of writing review I am still waiting for the system to be turned on, waiting on city inspection. Has been 3 weeks since install and no generation yet. Overall, I would recommend LGCY and Sunnova, but rating 4 stars due to the lack of carefulness from the install crew.

We had some hiccups with LEGACY at the beginning of our process which were very frustrating, but I started dealing with an employee named Taylor D and I can’t say enough good things about her. She completely changed my experience. She made some phone calls, get me up to date and was able to get me hooked up with Nick S. Nick was amazing. He got things moving quickly and when I have a question about anything he is still there for me. That is GREAT customer service and very appreciated. I hope Taylor and Nick are rewarded by this company for the excellent job they did for our family.

LGCY (now Arcadia) made the process of signing up for solar easy and straightforward. Sonya and her team were super friendly and helpful, and they took care of everything (submitting HOA docs, scheduling inspections with the county and utility, etc.). My only critique would be that I wished they would communicate more clearly where in the process things stood. There are quite a few steps and if you've never been through it before you may be confused what is supposed to happen and when.

LGCY is the best in the solar industry. They are the primary consultant team for Sunrun. I don't think this site understands that LGCY are the consults who provide such excellent service. Sunrun is #1 in solar and LGCY is the catapult to make that a reality. LGCY has a higher promoter score than Apple and Nordstrom. Either way solar is the way to go.

Really great installation service. The legacy solar walked us through the tax credits before we signed the papers. The representatives also helped answer our questions about consumption and usage for our home after installation. After an year of installation, when we expressed concerns with the solar being installed too close to the AC unit, the company came out to reinstall a couple of panels farther away from the AC unit on the roof for no charge. I value and appreciate their service & recommend this company for your home solar project. So far , the panels have been functioning great, working as promised, giving us a reduction in the energy bills every month - most importantly going green on the energy consumption & save our planet in our smallest possible way

Complaint Against Legacy Power (LGCY) I want to share my experience so others don't go through what I did. Solar is a good thing, but you must be very careful about the company you choose and the salespeople who may be more interested in a quick commission than the customer's wellbeing. Unfortunately, my experience with Legacy Power (LGCY) has been terrible. When I met with the LGCY salesman in my living room, I was very clear: I would only agree to install solar if (1) I could keep my AC set lower during summer (from 78° down to 75°-74°) and (2) the system provided 100% offset of my NV Energy bill. He promised both would happen, telling me my only NV Energy bill would be the $19/month grid connection fee. Based on those promises, I moved forward. In early 2024, I purchased -- not leased -- a 7.98 kW solar system for $28,900. That price worked out to $3.62 per watt, which I later discovered was about 34% higher than the average market rate at the time. By the time I realized it, the contract was signed and the installation was underway. The installation was completed on time, but that was the only thing that went right. * Missing equipment: The installer failed to install consumption CTs (devices that track energy use vs. production). When I asked about it, LGCY told me there was "not enough space" in my panel -- despite their own site evaluation saying otherwise. I ended up paying another company over $400 to install them without issue. * System underperformance: My 7.98 kW system has only ever produced a peak of 5.3 kW -- about 66% of capacity. Why you asked? LGCY installed 440 W panels but paired them with microinverters that max out at 300 W. This creates what's known as clipping -- energy that the panels could generate is simply wasted every single sunny day. * Broken promises: Instead of covering 100% of my usage as promised, I'm now paying an average of $140/month in the summer to NV Energy, on top of the nearly $29,000 I already paid for solar. * Customer service failures: When I raised these issues, the salesman (who sounded as a solar expert during the sale) brushed me off with "I'm not a technician. You should talk to tech support." Tech support told me my system was "working as expected." In reality, it's only working as they designed it -- with built-in limitations that were never disclosed to me. The result: I paid nearly $29,000 for an overpriced system that was poorly designed, does not meet the criteria I explicitly set as conditions for purchase, and leaves me with ongoing energy bills I was promised I wouldn't have. LGCY has taken no responsibility for their misleading sales practices, poor system design, or customer dissatisfaction. Bottom line: My system is "working as expected" only because it was designed to underperform from the start. That is not what I was promised or what I paid for.

my installation was the end of May 2025. It’s August 2025 and I finally passed Ameren inspection. I still have four panels that are reporting errors. I can’t seem to get this issue addressed by anybody at Legacy. I’m extremely disappointed in the service. They have provided after installation. They want to do a final walk-through in three weeks, but I still have four panels that are reporting a microinverter error. And they don’t seem to want to come out and fix that issue. I’m extremely disappointed in the customer service that Brooke has provided. I have to admit that the frustration I feel over the whole process is warranted. customer service on a scale from 0 to 10 equal zero Responsiveness to questions again a zero I can’t rate a value for money because it isn’t fully operational so I would give that another zero Trustworthiness of company again, a zero I don’t know how much I’m actually saving because not all of my panels are operational. I have four panels out of 24 that are not working properly and are giving errors. I can’t get anybody out to look at them or fix them so I have to give them another zero My frustration level at this point in the process is extremely high.

Tyler was great at first but when he made the mistake of not getting the approval from the HOA for the solar install (we got a cease and desist from the HOA which was embarrassing), he was very hard to reach (no response) and even when I got a hold of him on the phone, he was very defensive and was not taking responsibility. I had to reach out to his direct manager and have a conversation with him and then we were able to get the project moving again. It was really disappointing to see him not own up to what he did and I had to chase him down to push the project through.

Great sales experience but then the installers didn't pull the right permits which delayed the activation. Also, 2/3 of my panels face west so they don't get much sun. Quite disappointed with that since I was sold on the idea of elimination of my pawer bill, not only reducing it 40%.

I still have not received the signed contract since February this year. The sales rep is never keeps his word, so are customer reps. It's really hard to get a hold of people from LGCY to get answers. I had nothing but bad experience. The solar panel never works right. We are still getting billed $300/month from our electric company. LGCY is deceiving! I am deeply regret that I chose LGCY. I am about to file a complain with BBB.

I couldn't get enough information out of them as far as what the next step was. The equipment seems to be working fine. The installation process was excellent. They did everything right except the communication. They don't mention much about the credit, but they do have a good tax credit.

Very responsive early on during the sales process, but since, we've had to chase them down about installation schedule, and after three months of being turned on and supposedly being commissioned by PG&E, we're still getting bills from PG&E, and the run around from LGCY.

System was installed about 2 months back yet not inspected and not connected. Also there are loose units on the roof making very loud noises when windy and it took 1.5 months to send a person to assess

Haven't turned them on yet its been almost 3 months since our system was installed but hasn't been turned on yet. Apparently we failed the first inspection and now we're just playing g the quiting game. I really hope it gets turned on soon.

I still don't have solar service. My inspection failed and haven't heard anything else. My first payment t is coming up and nowt only I have a huge electric bill, but I have a solar bill now to pay. I have to call to try ang some type of updates and nobody really knows anything. I'm told that II will receive a call back and still waiting for it.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and persuasive. The installation process went well but it sat there two months without being hooked up. Once the panels are in place there is a problem getting service.

I like the Legacy power app. You can actually monitor your system without any additional money. The installation process was pretty fast. The inspection process was incredibly slow.
