I have been very happy with my leased solar panels and the energy that they generate. I have had four months of $0 balance due to P G & E this summer. When I have a balance due, the detail pages show that most of the expense is for natural gas, not electricity consumption.

I just checked my system before writing this, it’s running at full capacity. Living in 115 degrees daily. (Palm Springs), it’s more important than ever to have a company like Sunrun that you trust. I was lucky enough to retire early and without solar, it would be a problem to keep my toes chilly.

The salesman, Patrick, was knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had about solar. The sign up process was easy and we are awaiting installation. What I like most so far is that the company is not pushy when it comes to sales. I had a few other estimates and the sales team was constantly calling or texting me about a decision. I suggest investing in the battery backup as it proved valuable during a recent evacuation due to a fire. With the backup, the refrigerator stayed on, ensuring everything worked smoothly despite the circumstances.
