Specialty Services

The company provides a few specialty services for particularly difficult pests:

  • Bed Bug Control — Rove Pest Control employs a state-of-the-art heat treatment program that completely and safely eradicates bed bugs at every stage of their life cycle from the affected areas. This service is available in all states Rove Pest Control operates in.
  • Mosquito Control — Rove Pest Control conducts a three-pronged approach to mosquito treatment and removal, starting with a preventative treatment that explores necessary adjustments that need to be made to stop mosquitoes from reproducing in and swarming the home or business. David arrived at my home approximately 9:15 AM. I was just returning from my walk. I met him by his vehicle and visited while he got out his equipment. We proceeded to walk to location of mole activity. He explained to me how and where he would place the remedy. He said he would also check mouse bait locations for activity. We were pleased to have Sebastian at the house today for quarterly service. Our main issue is with voles/mice. Sebastian filled the bait stations full after finding they were essentially empty. The previous technician had stocked them half full which was insufficient for spring/summer rodent activity. We have observed voles in the yard over the past month. Our bait stations need to be fully stocked at each visit. Sebastian also treated indoors for ants and outside for wasps, spiders, and other bugs. We appreciate the discussion and conversation with him regarding the service and the importance of filling the bait stations. Good to know we can call for treatments as needed between quarterly services.

Sam didn’t ask a lot of questions about our situation, and briefly applied some fly stickers in our window. Since there were only a few applied, I asked if I could pay them to put more fly stickers on the windows, and he said that he was out of them, but said they’re available on Amazon. He noted someone might be able to stop by to provide more later, but it wasn’t clear if they would. My wife wanted to confirm that the indoor insecticides were approved by the EPA, to which he said “probably”. Therefore we couldn’t get comfortable with the indoor insecticides and didn’t use them. He first said there was a 30 day guarantee in which they could come back if the issue didn’t resolve, but then said he misspoke when I told him the person over the phone said otherwise. He treated the outside of our house and left in a hurry without seeing if I had any more questions. It made me think that I might as well have paid $5 on Amazon to get window fly stickers rather than paying $275 for someone to put them up!

I loved that the technician called before he was coming so I knew he would be at my house. Once he arrived he contacted me to ask if I had any specific concerns regarding the treatment. Once he was finished he talked to me and told me what he did and if I needed a retreat, because something wasn't working the way I thought it should, he could come back and retreat, at no extra cost.

Moving forward, you will have a regular technician that will get constantly evolving notes from previous visits and observations. i am completely unsatisfied the fact that now i have to reschedule because there was miscommunication and that i have to pay to have him flea dipped outside of the house and can only schedule this on Tuesdays due to work and planned to be out of the house for 4 hours and cancelled certain things so that we could do this. i have been a customer before and this has got to be the worse service i have received. when asked about spraying the carpets was informed " well i dont spray the carpet only the baseboards and window sills" this has been a nightmare dealing with this infestation for a month and not even the initial treatment. i followed the prep sheet the best i could to the tee as best could. i dont know how much i can recommend rove after this.

I was very happy when they came out on 7/2/24! They checked everywhere and explained everything. The invasion of ants I had are gone, and I woke up to hundreds of them in my bedroom. They went above board getting a dead trapped mouse out of my window. I appreciate them very much.

Couldn’t have asked for better customer service from Claire! She was the tech at my neighbors and I was there to let her in (they had to leave unexpectedly ) She was great there and then was able to goto my house right after! What we had originally asked for but were not given! She talked to customer support and was able to help me too! She was great at both houses. Very thorough and thoughtful. Would love to have her again!

Jose R. was the most thorough technician I have ever had. I pointed out areas of concern that I knew of. What I didn't know was that there was a huge hornet nest under our deck that he found, knocked down and treated. Wasps have been the biggest issue at our home. I am sure I will be calling you back out before the next scheduled treatment. I would like to request that Jose is my technician for as long as I have the service.
