I had forgotten that the bill was still outstanding when she called me this afternoon. Haley told me that everything had been taken care of and Medicare had paid the bill which I assume they would have done originally. I want to give a shout out to Amber P. who resolved my lengthy (> 9 months) billing issue with lab work initially denied by Medicare because of incorrect codes. She had to call the doctor's office for months, prodding them to submit new codes to the lab only to have the lab claim for months that they never received the new codes. Amber never gave up and kept calling the doctor's office and lab, even after I informed Amber that I paid the lab bill out of pocket before departing on a summer vacation. Yet, Amber persisted in keeping me informed of her work in progress. Everything got resolved because of her persistence. Medicare paid the lab and I received a refund check from the lab. I am so happy I selected Boomer Benefits when signing up with Medicare. Thank you Amber!

I got great service and help from Ephriam T. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, kind and friendly. He helped me to understand all my options in a clear way. I felt like I made the right decision having Ephriam help me. Superb service from both Boomer's medicare selling agent AND their special customer service group in particular Rhiana E. Transition from Cigna to Humana was easy and actually enjoyable. So glad to not have to only deal with Cigna's Customer Service any more. Now with Boomer and Rhiana E, I have great customer support and I expect better customer support from Humana's own Customer Service as well. (just started 1/1/26). Our medicare coverage is better than with Cigna and is even simpler. Instead of a poorly managed "in-house" medical supply so called benefit from Cigna, Humana simply makes my monthly cost lower---my kind of company. I've been with Boomer Benefits since 2021 and all of my interactions with them have been positive. Earlier this year I moved to another state and was required to change my drug plan. I called Boomer Benefits and Stephen Arellano helped me get an affordable plan set up. Most recently I received notice that my Medicare Plan B coverage was increasing significantly. So I contacted Boomer Benefits again and Mr. Arellano was able to shop a new policy with the same coverage at a great savings for me (I do have to go through underwriting). Rhiana is the best, when she says she is going to do something she does. In this day and age sometimes that is so hard to find. Making the transition to Medicare has been stressful; however, Rhiana has made the stress poof be gone as far as I'm concerned. She helped me get an MRI approved that was NOT getting approved and then she made sure that all my appointments in 2026 were covered with the new 2026 Carrier I picked. She instructed me not to pay the bill, and she handled the entire process. I did not have to contact Medicare, or the Medigap insurance company. This is the main reason I chose Boomer Benefits for their excellent customer service. Just one phone call to Amy Evans of Boomer Benefits and as a result I owe nothing, it was handled in a timely manner and was kept informed during the process. I want to give a big thank-you to Boomer’s Kelly Gavin. Several years ago, a representative from Boomer Benefits was the guest speaker at an online "Lunch & Learn" offered by MDT Financial Advisors to the employees where I worked. I attended the Lunch & Learn and saved the Boomer information knowing that “someday” I might need it. My “someday” came on October 1 when my job ended and retirement began. Unfortunately, this was around the same time as the government shutdown. For the following 6 weeks I tried to sign up for Part B (already had Part A) with no luck. Boomer’s Kelly Gavin took over. Kelly was able to sign me up for Part B and my supplemental plan. She also guided me to the IRMAA appeal information. She listened to my concerns, offered advice and wise counsel. I could not have done any of this without her. The peace I felt when Kelly took over the Medicare process, and succeeded, cannot be measured. I am forever grateful to Kelly and Boomer.

Boomer Benefits Lonzell Arrington was helping me pick a medicare plan for my husband. He spent hours on the phone with me making sure my husband had the best coverage. A couple days before open enrollment was over I found out that the employer he worked for had insurance for retirees. Lonzell told me that he wanted us to have the best plan and we should go with the employer benefits. He chose for us to have better coverage than for him to receive a commission from all the work he had done. With Boomer benefits they got my sister the best medical coverage where the insurance company pays her to have insurance, grocery supplement and she receives calls every month with them checking in on her. Boomer benefits is amazing! They actually care more about the people they serve than themselves. I highly recommend boomer benefits.

There's no one out there that offers any assistance with Medicare and has always made me feel like I'm the only one they are helping which we all know isn't true. She was extremely helpful in a wide range of assistance, from helping canceling my wife’s policies after her passing away and looking at my policies. She listened and answered all my questions and asking questions of me to help me get the best coverage. Sheena was very easy to talk to and we got to know each other while wanting for called to the other companies we had to deal with. Malaquia Brown has been working on my behalf with an issue I had with a copay for my insulin. The pharmacy had a difficult time understanding that my copay would be covered by my supplemental coverage and insisted on charging me for my refill order. I contacted Malaquia and she did an incredible job contacting my pharmacy and explaining my coverage. I was floundering in a sea of contradictory and complicated (not to mention fear mongering) information about how to go back to traditional Medicare from a Medicare Advantage Plan when I finally got in touch with Boomer Benefits on the recommendation of quite a few of my fellow IBM retirees. MELANIE MILLER competently and easily answered all my questions, calmed my fears, and submitted my application for a new Plan G that same day. I passed underwriting 4 days later. I am relatively healthy for my age, but I was very worried. But Melanie seemed to know which company would be easier for me, and she was right! The icing on the cake was that she realized my husband could also save quite a bit by changing his Plan F to the same one I chose during his birthday month. We both receive a 7% discount on the premium. Amazing... Melanie is a superstar. She keeps her cool and doesn't panic when her customer is flummoxed. I am SO relieved that I found Melanie at Boomer Benefits.

I found Boomer Benefits through a sponsored social media ad, and that ad showed that they had information on a plan about which I was interested in learning more. The ad showed an agent by the name of Bailey G, and so we made contact. Poor Bailey, for some reason his call - repeated attempts - went directly to my voice mail. He didn't give up, and through email communication, we were finally able to connect by phone. Within an hour, Bailey had talked me through the different types of Medicare plans beyond plans A and B, and find me a plan similar to the one I already had but with many savings benefits from my current plan. Success! Bailey knew the answer to every one of my questions and offered enough knowledge to make me feel confident in the plan I ended up selecting. He has a great knowledge of the products they offer, and we had a charming friendly chat. I will be recommending Boomer Benefits for anyone looking for an awesome company with which to work.

I have been a client of BB since 2019. In the years since, I only called about escalating rates and plan changes once. However, today...I received a call back from Barbara R to discuss my options during open enrollment. Too my surprise and with the knowledge of Barbara, I find that Wyoming has recently enacted the "birthday rule" allowing medicare clients the ability to change supplement plans without passing underwriting. Game changer!! Barbara's knowledge of this newly enacted legislation in Wyoming has cut my premiums in half. Great job! Just another reason to stay a client of Boomer Benefits.

I never realized how much work is involved once you become “seasoned”. I am reviewing medical plans during the current switch enrollment period and after speaking with a friend of mine, I took her advice and contacted Boomer Benefits. Larry W of Boomer Benefits reached out and scheduled a one on one phone meeting to discuss options. Larry is extremely knowledgeable and took significant weight off my shoulders as he took down some information for me and clearly explained the various plans that best fit my individual situation. Best of all, I have a clear understanding between supplement versus advantage plans. With that, we came to a conclusion and I now feel thoroughly comfortable as I have selected a plan that will provide me with better coverage. I now know that should I incur a significant medical emergency, my family will be pleased to know that my medical coverage is prime and should I have any issues or concerns with coverage, Boomer Benefits will represent me in dealing with such claims So you might be thinking there’s a catch… HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST? Boomer Benefits doesn’t take any monies from its clients. It only serves clients and receives payment through the insurance plans. Imagine that!
