I worked with Larry West and he was fantastic. I can imagine if I didn't have him to help me it would have been extremely difficult to navigate the Medicare maze.
He is extremely polite, knowledgable, courteous and just plain nice. My experience with Larry and Boomer Benefits was flawless.
We knocked out what to do in about 1/2 hour. I would recommend anyone to reach out to BB for help when you turn 65.

Started with Boomer Benefits in 2025 when I first retired and have nothing but praise on how it went working with them. Jump ahead a year and, like most everyone, my G plan jumped up. I called BB and spoke with Stephen Arrelano who helped me find another plan that was actually less than what I had paid in 2025. Stephen was fantastic. Very friendly and very on the ball. Rock Chalk Jayhawk Stephen....he'll understand.

I got great service and help from Ephriam T. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, kind and friendly. He helped me to understand all my options in a clear way. I felt like I made the right decision having Ephriam help me. Then, he called a few weeks later to make sure I didn't have any questions and to make sure all my documents had arrived in the mail from my supplement companies. I would not hesitate to work with him again. In fact, I have referred my cousin to him for his Medicare needs.

Although Boomer Benefits did not have any insurance companies that were interesting for my area (insurers have really cut back in my area with few options), Anthony S. at Boomer Benefits took a lot of time with me explaining many of the confusing aspects of senior health insurance. I was impressed with his knowledge and his willingness to help me even though we both knew early on that there wasn't an insurance company that fit my criteria in my area. Wow! Thank you Ashley M! I turned 65 but still work full-time and intend to work for at least two more years. I called Boomer Benefits at the recommendation of my sister who did the same when she was due to retire last year. They are incredibly informative! I signed up for part A thinking that’s all I need to worry about for now. But after speaking to Ashley learned there are things to consider currently as well as plan for down the road! Rhiana is the best, when she says she is going to do something she does. In this day and age sometimes that is so hard to find. Making the transition to Medicare has been stressful; however, Rhiana has made the stress poof be gone as far as I'm concerned. She helped me get an MRI approved that was NOT getting approved and then she made sure that all my appointments in 2026 were covered with the new 2026 Carrier I picked. Boomer Benefits and Rhiana have been my lifesaver with all of this health care stuff that is so confusing and overwhelming.

Bailey Goh is the Boomer Benefits representative that helped me with the search for a new Medicare plan. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of the healthcare system. She was extremely helpful in a wide range of assistance, from helping canceling my wife’s policies after her passing away and looking at my policies. She listened and answered all my questions and asking questions of me to help me get the best coverage. Malaquia Brown has been working on my behalf with an issue I had with a copay for my insulin. The pharmacy had a difficult time understanding that my copay would be covered by my supplemental coverage and insisted on charging me for my refill order. I contacted Malaquia and she did an incredible job contacting my pharmacy and explaining my coverage. I was floundering in a sea of contradictory and complicated (not to mention fear mongering) information about how to go back to traditional Medicare from a Medicare Advantage Plan when I finally got in touch with Boomer Benefits on the recommendation of quite a few of my fellow IBM retirees. MELANIE MILLER competently and easily answered all my questions, calmed my fears, and submitted my application for a new Plan G that same day. I passed underwriting 4 days later. I am relatively healthy for my age, but I was very worried. But Melanie seemed to know which company would be easier for me, and she was right! The icing on the cake was that she realized my husband could also save quite a bit by changing his Plan F to the same one I chose during his birthday month. We both receive a 7% discount on the premium. Amazing... Melanie is a superstar. She keeps her cool and doesn't panic when her customer is flummoxed. I am SO relieved that I found Melanie at Boomer Benefits.

I found Boomer Benefits through a sponsored social media ad, and that ad showed that they had information on a plan about which I was interested in learning more. The ad showed an agent by the name of Bailey G, and so we made contact. Poor Bailey, for some reason his call - repeated attempts - went directly to my voice mail. He didn't give up, and through email communication, we were finally able to connect by phone.
Within an hour, Bailey had talked me through the different types of Medicare plans beyond plans A and B, and find me a plan similar to the one I already had but with many savings benefits from my current plan. Success!

I have been a client of BB since 2019. In the years since, I only called about escalating rates and plan changes once. However, today...I received a call back from Barbara R to discuss my options during open enrollment. Too my surprise and with the knowledge of Barbara, I find that Wyoming has recently enacted the "birthday rule" allowing medicare clients the ability to change supplement plans without passing underwriting. Game changer!! Barbara's knowledge of this newly enacted legislation in Wyoming has cut my premiums in half. Great job! Just another reason to stay a client of Boomer Benefits.

I never realized how much work is involved once you become “seasoned”.
I am reviewing medical plans during the current switch enrollment period and after speaking with a friend of mine, I took her advice and contacted Boomer Benefits.
Larry W of Boomer Benefits reached out and scheduled a one on one phone meeting to discuss options. Larry is extremely knowledgeable and took significant weight off my shoulders as he took down some information for me and clearly explained the various plans that best fit my individual situation.
Best of all, I have a clear understanding between supplement versus advantage plans. With that, we came to a conclusion and I now feel thoroughly comfortable as I have selected a plan that will provide me with better coverage.
I now know that should I incur a significant medical emergency, my family will be pleased to know that my medical coverage is prime and should I have any issues or concerns with coverage, Boomer Benefits will represent me in dealing with such claims

Bill W helped me choose the best Medicare Supplement plan for myself and an Advantage plan for an older friend, saving us both substantial money. But my decision to go with Boomer Benefits really paid off when Medicare denied a $600 expense that should have been covered. I contacted Alexis Peterson and she provided OUTSTANDING service by tracking down the codes that should have been submitted and staying on my doctor’s billing office until the claim was appealed and paid. This involved numerous calls and substantial effort on Alexis’ part and she was great about keeping me updated on the process.
Being a former insurance agent myself, i know good service when I see it. I can’t say enough good things about Boomer Benefits and its associates!

She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure I understood every part of the process. Sydney V provided me with such excellent service during a several month ordeal trying to get a bill straightened out. Between Medicare third-party insurance and a billing person unwilling to listen she got everybody on board and straightened out. There were several mistakes in the account that needed straightening out, and she hung in there spoke to everybody on board and got it all taken care of such a relief. So thankful for her and everybody else that has helped me through the years. I don’t know what we do without you! Thanks again Sydney. I hope your company knows what a valued employee you are.

My provider charged me $283 at time of service. But Medicare's website stated they were only entitled to charge me $210. I spoke with my provider's billing department. They said they'd look into it, but no refund came and didn't hear back from them. I've used Boomer Benefits billing resolution service before, with positive results, so enlisted their aid again. This time, Arick D. assisted me. He spoke with my provider's billing department and somehow got them to agree to a refund. Also, he said if I don't receive the refund in 30 days to let him know so he can follow up with the provider. Thanks Arick!

Wendy Schoonmaker deserves five stars for going above and beyond. A couple weeks ago, she emailed me her research on dentists in my area and recommended some that would take my insurance. She called me this morning just to see how things were going and helped me reinstate an insurance plan that I regretted canceling last week. I still needed the vision and hearing portion of that policy. So she initiated a three person call to that insurance company to make sure that things were going to work right especially for the vision and hearing portion. I am very grateful to Wendy for her great personality and above and beyond service!
