Buyer Beware This company took my money then did not fulfill the contract obligations. After nearly a month without a refrigerator. Not a repair or replacement was done and we were forced to compensate buyers with cash payment and transfer fridge to our next house, HWA say no longer available for coverage since it’s at a new address.

Our hot water heater went out 3 days into us owning the home. The “warranty” didn’t cover the whole thing and I ended up paying more than double what it should have costed. Not sure what the warranty is good for if I’m still paying an arm and a leg for repairs.

Disliked the fact that our scheduled appointment did not occur on the scheduled day. It wasn’t until the next day we had service. The issue we reported was not resolved based on the same issue reoccurring in a worse state. We called an AC service company that diagnosed the issue and fixed it. In total we laid a $75 fee to 24/7 AC and over $950 to get our air conditioner checked out and repaired. Very disappointed with HWA and the 24/7 AC company.

I feel like the issue with my oven should have been covered. The issue with the heating element was something completely out of our control. To say that it was not normal wear and tear was absurd. How else would it go out!? It’s located under the metal bottom of the oven. There is nothing that could have been done to make it go out,

I've been with you since I moved into this house 14 or 15 years ago and have always used you and been satisfied with your service. But this time you didn't come through as before. Instead of completely replaceing my microwave your sending me a egift card for 190.00 to replace it. So it's going to cost me at least 5 or 6 hundred more dollars more to find a good microwave and have it installed, which you should have done. First time in all these years I'm no satisfied.

I didn’t chose to work with the company. The seller purchased the warranty for a year. The service call for repair is way too long. I don’t plan to renew the warranty when it expires the end of November 2026. I will shop around for a better service.

I thank I was dealing with a professional and caring company. I never receive call backs nor follow ups. For the last two service call I ended up paying someone else to fix the problem. I still have one outstanding service calls that had not been fixed as of yet and it’s been almost three weeks since I initiated the work order tech can out checked unit I paid the deductible didn’t call me back I called home and he said he was still waiting no the part.and was supposed to be in last week so. I am very disappointed in my service

Their contract was the most comprehensive. My only issue is how stingy they are and not very user/customer friendly. It seems they outsource their call center in an effort to drive customers away (I mean in an effort to cut costs. Unfortunately it will eat away at their customer base also. Mark my words).

They were cheap and had higher limits on replacement value for HVAC systems. Unfortunately, they have denied a ton of claims requests and won't tell me if my repair claims will be covered until they send an inspector to look at my repair. This costs $70-80 for every inspection. It is not worth the risk many times.

Our plumber did come and opened the pipe according to him temporarily. He said we could either do a hydro pressure cleaning or replace a cast iron pipe somewhere under the house in the crawl space. Both are not covered by the warranty company. Now we are not sure if for real they are not covered or? I need to be connected if possible especially I don’t want to pay another deductible again to find out.

I've had a policybsince 2019. Easy company to work with. Premiums are reasonable. Great response time. Minor repairs or replacements have not been an issue. Typical insurance/warranty with the big items. I have the top policy plan with the extra rider to cover the 'not typical' items and replacing my heat pump system still cost me $3000. Used the excuse of new government regs etc. instead of honoring the policy.

I’ve had two issues with my AC in the last couple weeks. One was a leak and the other was a compressor went out on one of my units. This home warranty company took care of me and fixed both of these problems very quickly and make sure it was all done right.

It’s a 20 year old refrigerator and instead of replacing it was decided that $600 ish for repair was acceptable. Plus tech fees. Approved only after HWA questioned whether the damage was done by a power surge and was told there a surge protector. Not only that our entire house has a surge protector so that’s never going to be the issue. I feel that it should have been replaced since the compressor has issues. Not the problem this time since the control board was replaced.

On my last claim the plumber that was sent out said my main drain was cracked and Hwa denied the repair. I had another company come out to get a second opinion and they where able to clear the drain and didn't find any cracks. The drain is flowing smoothly now. Because of bad service from the company Hwa sent out I lost out on $100 deductible plus I had to get another company to do the job and I had to miss a day of work. I was also notified that my monthly rate and deductible will be increasing so Because of that I'm going to be looking for another warranty company to go with.
