I've been with the company for over 5 years now and I've been very happy with the services. Only one little glitch along the way they sent me a company to look at my air conditioning and they cancel an hour before the appointment and maybe wait another week before I could be seen but no apparent reason I was dealing with somebody from an AI company. And the individual I spoke to from hwa it was not that receptive as to what was going on even though I'm a 71 year old woman with breathing difficulties and needed my air conditioning I was told that they could call another company but it would take another week so that didn't help anything. But overall I'm very pleased

I’d give it a zero if possible. Waiting three weeks to get a small leak fixed (diamond package). I’m on my third plumber/technician to get this job completed. All have cancelled bc HWA won’t pay them what they need in order to complete the diagnostic report HMA requires. I had to pay service fee and they won’t refund it. I basically paid $100 service fee for nothing. I’ve literally had to make over 20 calls for this leak. Communication is terrible. A complete waste of money and time.

The only negative i would say is that the repair made was a temporary repair, and the company that home warranty sent out was suppose to order part to fix problem, this has not occurred and still no updates received from home warranty or contracting service company 2 months later.

Their contract was the most comprehensive. My only issue is how stingy they are and not very user/customer friendly. It seems they outsource their call center in an effort to drive customers away (I mean in an effort to cut costs. Unfortunately it will eat away at their customer base also. Mark my words).

For one it covers my pool pump and filter. Great price. Only used 1 time for my stove. No problems getting issue taken care of. However, very disappointed in how long it takes to get final resolution. Four weeks or longer to get check or e certificate for replacement is ridiculous. Other than that no issues so far.

The website is very slow. I was having a problem with my furnace and it took 3 days during Sub-Zero temps before a service person called me. He was very good once he showed up, but it was uncomfortable not having a fully working furnace that long in those temps.

So far the service has been great. Just need patience when they are replacing an item and sometimes you end up making a purchase to replace items that are a bigger deal to you like a stove that was red flag by the fire department for CO2 but when you put a claim the company says it’s fine so you follow your instincts and replace it after having two issues with it. But overall they are ok.

Home Warranty was great. Very professional and timely service. My issue is with the locksmith who used to not duplicate key for my main garage entry into the house. He only gave me one key. Now I either have to change the deadbolt entirely or find someone who will duplicate the key. Very frustrating for a typical deadbolt into the home. He also refused to reset the front door combination and referred me to YouTube.

Our plumber did come and opened the pipe according to him temporarily. He said we could either do a hydro pressure cleaning or replace a cast iron pipe somewhere under the house in the crawl space. Both are not covered by the warranty company. Now we are not sure if for real they are not covered or? I need to be connected if possible especially I don’t want to pay another deductible again to find out.

I've had a policybsince 2019. Easy company to work with. Premiums are reasonable. Great response time. Minor repairs or replacements have not been an issue. Typical insurance/warranty with the big items. I have the top policy plan with the extra rider to cover the 'not typical' items and replacing my heat pump system still cost me $3000. Used the excuse of new government regs etc. instead of honoring the policy.

Home warranty is worth it !!! At time we think well I’m not going to have an issue or this not going to happen to me and once it does you waste more money out of pocket to do it yourself or hire someone else to fix it. While with home warranty you make a claim then they get back to you and it covers . Just keep in mind they do have certain things in home that it covers so always double check which plan you have . Other than that , only a small fee has to be paid which is better than an overall cost . They will get in contact with you really quick and customer service is great with scheduling your appointment they will work with you . I would totally recommend it , especially for first time home buyers and keep renewing it .

The technicians were friendly and fixed my dryer and washer promptly, even though the washer had a recurring issue with a part. I was impressed with their responsiveness, and the hot water heater was repaired the next day. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service!

The last repair I had done on my oven was good. The technician was friendly and professional. Appointment for diagnosing the problem was done within a week. Parts were ordered and the repair was done 2 weeks later. However, the claim I submitted before this one, where I had a leak under my kitchen sink was horrible!! It took over 6 weeks just to assign the claim. A week or so later an appointment was set up to diagnose the problem. The technician was supposed to show up between 8 am and 3 pm. He showed up at 5 pm. No "I'm sorry I'm late," nothing. I needed a new faucet. He said he could come back the next day at noon. I went out and bought a faucet. He never showed up the next day. Never called. Nothing. He showed up the following day at 6 pm. I told him to leave, we were canceling his service. I called HWA and told them to assign me another technician. Took awhile to get another plumber scheduled. I did finally get the new faucet put in. I had been using a bucket under my sink for 3 months.

Several years ago, the cooling system upstairs , the cooling system for the upstairs, a man that I guess you know you all called on to come out here and take care of it. He was just impossible. It had nothing to do with home warranty. I think you all probably discharged him. But on a positive note, gosh, we we've had technicians out here, one time our freezer wasn't working properly. We couldn't get water or ice out of the dispenser or anything. And the nicest gentleman, this has been several years ago. I think he's done some other work, he replaced the microwave and oh gosh, it seems like he, he worked on the refrigerator a couple of times. But very polite, very efficient, you know, it just went like a breeze. And this last guy that came out about our downstairs unit, he is so respectful and he's not afraid of my barking dog and he's efficient. He tells you what time he'll be on site and he is, he's just really great.

Customer service is good. People with good skills. They can walk you in and give you some ideas about what is the best to do. I've already had a good experience with the guy that went to my house. I had a guy that went and and fixed the my washer and that was probably the software got stuck or something. He went to my house, fixed it, but he told me that I'm gonna need another person to go with the software to update the software. But the washer is working now with no problem, so hopefully it's going to be there forever. Excellent, excellent person, very friendly, he knows everything about the refrigerators.

We live in lower Alabama. We were having hundred-degree-plus days for a week and one of the air conditioners just wasn't doing the deal. So I turned in a request for service early on a Monday morning, and got the request confirmed by late morning and late afternoon. A service Rep called to confirm he'd be here the following day. I don't know how it gets better than that. It wasn't what we had to play phone tag or anything like that. It was an immediate response. Came up with someone within hours who called back and confirmed that they would be in the next day. Excellent, I mean very quick response. I think it's a little pricey for the number of calls that I've had over the last five to six years, but every time that I've had a service Rep come from Home Warranty of America, the people have always been prescreened so when they show up, you know they're professionals and they know what they're doing.

I've been through many companies, and long story short, you are highly recommended by someone we know and trust and she's a realtor in our area. And after looking at the rates and everything else and what was covered and her recommendation, we went ahead and contacted the company and I was very well pleased with the way they handled themselves business wise. People very, very knowledgeable, very helpful. We had a situation come up with our tankless water heater and I was a little bit disappointed the first tech they sent out. He stated this unit that we have has a gas leak problem. It's kind of a situation where you know, is it dangerous? I don't know. He never came back to do anything with it and my claim was denied because I didn't have proper documentation or inspection. I'm living in an almost 10 year old house. It's a fairly new house and I mean what documentation would I have or an inspection report what I have stating that the unit was in good order for none and they denied my request. We didn't have proper documentation because we like that looked into.

My clothes dryer wasn't working. I could put the clothes in and I pushed the power button. It would just make a click and nothing would happen. So I called and I think it was like the next day later in the day the gentleman showed up and he took the board out and said there was something wrong with the board. There was one part that was burned or something but he put it back in and he said I should be back within 24 to 48 hours with the new board. Then he called me to tell me that they were going to someone would drop the board off because he didn't have it at his facility, so the very next morning the board was dropped off and later that same day, which was the next day, he came and he put the new board in and everything was fine. I can do everything online. Few years back I would have to call and speak to someone to, you know, put in a claim about something and now all I have to do is go online, put my customer number in and put, there's questions there that you answer and I get an email with my claim number and then usually within 24 hours, well 24 to 72 hours, I'll get another email telling me who will be out and then I get a call from the person and it's it's just really simple. You don't have to stay on stay on the phone while listening to music because you know you're on hold, you just go on the computer and you place your claim and you do it that way and it's so much faster.

They've always been extremely responsive to any issues I've had. They've kept me informed of the status of the progress, of whether they're finding a technician or you know any other issues that come about and the techs, the technicians that they've sent have all been very good at what they do. The technicians that they've sent out have all been diligent about finding out what the issue is and correcting it. An example was when I had an electric issue where the switch wasn't turning on what needed to be turned on and the technician was able to follow the wires and find out what was going on and correct the issue. They've been very responsive with you know any issues I've had.

I've had it for a lot of years. I had it down in Florida and then when I bought a house up here I came with another warranty and then once that one ran out I switched back. It's just hard to get ahold of somebody sometimes. I'm waiting for my fridge, they still haven't found the door for it. It's a it's a flex fridge, so there are four French doors. And I guess they're waiting for a manufacturer to make one or something. They scheduled to come back, he fixed the ice machine the first time and then he ordered the door. Well, he had trouble ordering the door because it's a newer fridge, so he's having a hard time finding it. I guess you have to go straight to Samsung, and Samsung isn't making them, so I still haven't heard anything for a while. That was about six weeks since the first time he was here. And then it was going to be a few weeks, three to four weeks to the appointment and hopefully the door was going to be in by then. Well, the day before the appointment I got a message that they're still looking for the door and I could go on the website to, to see any updates and they'll contact me whenever.

Sometimes it's difficult to get a supervisor when you need one. If you can get a supervisor, they're very good at their job. I have my pool pump went out, so I called them and they assigned a technician. It took him a month and a half to get here, not their fault, the technician's fault. Then the technician installed a faulty pump was mad because Home Warranty of America did not want to pay him for installing a faulty pump. So I've been without a pool pump since May 2nd. I called him again today, home warranty service and they assigned a new technician but as yet, they haven't got a hold of me.

I've found that the people who come, every single one who comes very professional, clean and explain everything to us. You know, like when the guy came to fix the air conditioner or the plumber came to fix the garbage disposal, the hot water heater, they explained everything to us each step, and it was very quick and they dealt with you guys about replacement and everything and it was very easy for us. And we didn't have to worry about it. We used it just last month when our air conditioner failed when it was 9000 degrees out and I said to them, you know, I really need somebody to come right away. My husband has medical issues and the person came the next day. One time we had a little issue with communication and and kind of went back and forth, but other than that it's been wonderful.

They're pretty informative and they try to help you out as much, they tell you about all the deals that they they'll give you and you know, it's it's always like a quick call too. It's not like it's complicated or anything like that, it's pretty easy to get claims done in all of them. We needed to use it for our plumbing because we were having a backup backup plumbing issues and then when we called they spent over a plumber help us, help us fixed the clog in our drain. And they came, it was only, you know, they only charged us the service fee, so it wasn't expensive. They fixed our our drain and then they, the plumber even recommended some other things for us to do in the future for to prevent it from having and all that. It was pretty overall easy experience. Easy, cheap, quick. I haven't had any problems yet and they're always they're always ready to help us out.

The sewer start backing up and I had to call to have someone to come and unclog the the sewer. He was very professional. They got right on it and sent someone. He did a great job. He left the house clean after of what he did, which was great. Then I had to use it for a shower pipe that was leaking in the basement and that person was the same, very knowledgeable, very professional. He came and he soldered the pipe at first it still had a bit of a leak in it. He came back when I called him and he fixed it, he came and replaced the the pipe. My experiences were were good, even if when it was something still going on they came back to fix it to make sure it was right. So that I appreciate it.

They have been very cost effective and reliable. The response Is very timely. You can follow up on the website which makes it easy to track where things are with the client. My ice quit working and they got a tech out within that week and the tech was very friendly and honest and tried to repair it and the first time they worked on it they didn't repair it. But at no additional cost they figured out what was broken and fixed it, and it's been great ever since. I feel like the people that they contract with are very honest and trustworthy people and they call you very promptly and work with you to set up an appointment. So it's just it's just a really user friendly company with people who truly want to solve the problem
