They're very, very easy to file a claim. Easy to to communicate with them through e-mail and fairly fast response. Just recently, we had the air conditioner system go down and stop working, so they contacted someone within 24 hours, and that company called us. We set up a time for them to come, and they approved all of the repair items, and it was done within a few days. I've had no no reason yet to be unsatisfied, so. And then I've I've had them since 2015 and made probably maybe 4 or 5 claims and it's always been good.

I believe it is one terrific company! Online claim process is quick and easy to accomplish. Telephone representatives are friendly and professional when I need to speak to them. They get back with a service repair tech within 24 hours. When a repair service is not available, I live in a rural area, I can get my own and they work with me on that as well. Just can’t say enough great things about them.

I'm very happy with and pleasantly surprised by Home Warranty of America. I think I've had home warranties before, but I forgot I had them by the time something broke and I could have used my warranty but I never did. This time, since I had just recently bought the warranty with the house and it happened only like a month after owning it, I remembered and rather than call the dealer I called Home Warranty of America and they did fine. It was trouble free and effortless.

I’ve had a contract for nine years. I’ve used it many times. Some experiences were not the greatest, some were just ok. But my last claim was our air conditioner (again) and we had a woman tech come. She fixed it is 20 minutes. Very, very pleased with how quickly she came and how quickly it was fixed. It’s worth it for peace of mind. I bought a three year contract for a discount.

I think they're great. I've had it for over 10 years. I've used them dozens of times and never a problem. Not a single problem. We needed a plumber and he came. He was extremely knowledgeable about what to do. He he was a terrific professional, nice person. There's some things that they could have chosen not to cover, but they went the extra mile for me. Whenever something's broken, they are able to find a service repairman quickly. And then they come and they fix it.

The lady that I talked to at Home Warranty of America was very understanding, understood my problem and my concerns, and handled it very nicely, very professionally I was very pleased with that aspect of it. They they were trying their best. I had an issue and it took them until this spring to finally get a technician out here. They made several appointments for technicians to show, but the technicians were no shows until finally about a month ago. We finally had a technician come out and fixed the problem very rapidly. It wasn't really Home Warranty of America's fault as much as it was the companies that they had contacted being no shows.

One of the times that I needed the service I had to call in a second time and the second representative gave additional information that was helpful. She answered my questions and it resolved the issue. The first rep didn't even seem like she took the time to look into it because she right away said no. I called HWA and they came provided the service and it was very costly but but it was done.

I did have one professional who kept having to reschedule and it was a bit frustrating on my end, but when I called Home Warranty to follow up on it, they immediately followed up with the service provider. They confirmed what was going on and made sure that I had an appointment. So even when there was a problem, they dealt with it efficiently. Their customer service is is wonderful. The online service for booking appointments is wonderful and easy to use and when I've had to call in, the the people I've spoken to on the phone have been very knowledgeable, very helpful, very courteous, just all around, very easy and good to work with.

I had an issue with one of the servicers and as soon as I got in touch with the customer service department at Home Warranty, they got in touch with the company and it magically got dealt with. I had such a good experience with Home Warranty that I had my sister switch her company over to Home Warranty of America.

Whenever I call them the customer service is good. They always send somebody out within a reasonable time to deal with my issues and the service is excellent. If they can't fix it they they replace it. The service is good. Very recently I had to have a washing machine fixed and it was a minor problem. The person was in and out and they fixed it and I haven't had trouble with it since.

They sent out service rep just 2 days after reporting the A/C was broken. The technician repaired the outside unit and has us back to cool air within 45 minutes after arrival. We are very satisfied with the quick repair time, the professionalism of the technician, and that we only had to pay the deductible for repairs that would have been hundreds more.

I called, I explained the problem, I got an email from a plumbing company within an hour scheduling an appointment. The plumber showed up, was very courteous, attempted to clear the problem and could not. He made a call and told me when the next person with the needed equipment would be here. The next plumber arrived as scheduled, fixed the problem and said thank you to me. This all was Dad’s Plumbing.

Home Warranty of America gives us peace of mind. We know if we have a high-dollar problem in our home, they will work with us to solve the problem. For example, we began having dishwasher trouble recently. A repairman came out and installed a part that subsequently did not solve the problem. HWA is sending us a check for a new dishwasher. They give great service and we are very glad we got on board with them.

I have been very pleased. I had to use it very recently for a refrigerator repair. If I need a repair person locally, sometime it's very, very hard. But to have them as a backup to find somebody and get them here in a timely manner, get them to your home, it's just this is very beneficial. It saves me a lot of money. They're very prompt. They answer within 24 hours. The times that we've called them for service they they've been providing service within 24 hours. When we first bought our home, within about 90 days the compressor on our refrigerator went out and I called them. They came out the next day and repairman fixed the compressor and the refrigerator and we didn't have to do a total replacement and I was very pleased with their work and how fast it was.

Each time I've had to use them over the last couple of years, they just took one phone call and they took care of everything. I just had to pay my $100 deposit or not deposit. My dryer quit working after we moved here and it was about three months and they replaced it for us. I also had a garage door spring break and they sent someone out and took care of it right away and my ice maker in my refrigerator quit working and they sent somebody out and took care of that. Each time it only took one phone call. It's been well worth having the warranty service for the price that we paid for it.

The men who came out to work on my appliances were very, very nice and very competent. Two weeks ago my refrigerator that stopped working. People came out, they fixed one part of it, then another part of it went and they had to come out two more times to fix it and now it is fixed. It was sometimes very difficult to communicate with the people on the phone.

Most of the time when I've talked to them, the person on the phone that I talked to knew exactly what they were doing and was able to handle my problem. One time the air conditioner went out. I called them two days later they were here, fixed it, and went about their business. Another time the dishwasher didn't work they got that fixed in one day. Another time the toilet upstairs kept running they came and fixed that. Everything's been fixed within 48 hours.

It's always been very professional and fast. The first time I had to use the warranty had to do with our air conditioning system. And it worked out well for us because we were actually out of town and had the service guy come out and checked it all out. We just had to have a friend come and open the door for him. I needed to call to get my washer repaired and I got an immediate appointment. The tech came right away. Unfortunately, we did need to wait for a part to be ordered, but as soon as that part came in, I was able to get my service done literally within a week. As far as home warranty itself they are very responsive, very on top of things, but whoever they partner with, sometimes there's a little bit of a break, whether it be in communication or scheduling.

I've had several issues and had to submit claims and never had one issue with them. Every single claim was processed and and dealt with promptly. I had a very faulty A/C so for the last three years I had to submit claims every every year, about twice in the summer. I live in Arizona and they dealt with it very swiftly. The companies that they work with are very professional and good at what they do, so they didn't have a problem at all.

It took over a month to get out A/C fixed, due to continuous vendor delays, lack of communication on all sides, and eventually required to pay over $1K in non-covered items, that are listed as covered in the top tier plan. No one could give a list or invoice of those items. We felt like we're held hostage and agreed to pay to avoid pushing into the 5th week (in TX summer, 2 of the weeks the temps were 100-109°F daily!)

I contacted the company regarding an issue with my dishwasher. A technician came to assess the problem and informed me that he would need to return with spare parts to complete the repair. However, when I tried to get an update on when he would be back, I was told that the parts were difficult to obtain and that it would take time. When I reached out to HWOA to see if the process could be expedited through another provider, I was suddenly sent a rejection message, stating that the issue was due to physical damage. This conclusion was drawn solely because the part is difficult to obtain! I contacted the technician company again, and they confirmed in writing that the technician's initial report was incorrect. The damage to the dishwasher is due to normal usage, not physical damage. It feels like the customer has no one to talk to, and no one is willing to listen or resolve the issue. Ultimately, I, as the customer, am at a loss simply because the spare part is hard to get! The poor customer service and the lack of anyone to address my concerns is why I will not recommend this insurance company to any of my friends!

I've never had a problem over the last 6-7 years as a customer. I heard HWA was bought out. I'm not sure if that's the case but something has changed. My HVAC had an issue. The tech comes and says what needs to be replace. HWA only wants to cover 1 of the 2 parts because they say it was secondary damage. Actually I was told by a manager that he was have denied the whole claim. I said how do you know you have an issue until it happens and how do you know what is wrong into the tech comes to look at it. How is it my fault a second part failed due to the first one. He said I don't disagree but that's how the plan is. I have the best plan HWA offers and I'm still out about $300. I'm about ready to just cancel my policy after this.

I wish I could have selected NO STARS. They are glad to take your money and sign you up for a home warranty, but then deny you on your one and only claim. We specifically told the sales representative that the three items in the home that we were concerned about were the AC Unit, the Furnace and the Hot Water tank as they were older, but were all currently working fine. She said no problem and signed us up. The Hot Water tank started to leak shortly after purchasing the policy, called the representative who said to start a claim! We did! The claim was denied! They said it was because the hot water tank had rust in it, so that was a pre-existing condition. My response was “All hot water tanks would have rust in them, no matter how old they were. Rust exists to certain degree on any tank! They refused to cover it! So not am I out the initial premium, but also the $100 deductible that I had to pay the plumber who came out to assist with the claim! RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS BOGUS COMPANY!

Since I have had HWA, I have filed 5 claims. They paid me $700 for a $2,000 oven, a top of the line microwave and a dishwasher. I still have the broken oven (I bought a toaster oven and put it on the kitchen counter. I bought a cheap microwave to replace the built-in one they refused to fix.) I had to buy a new dishwaher. They finally did fix the last claim I made, the furnace. I'm not happy with them, they say they can't fix things because they're too old. They just deny.

I would give zero stars if it was an option. I filed a claim for a leak in my washing machine and other issues came up in the time it took for the technician to come out. When I first called in to ask about this, I was told to add it to the same claim so the information was recorded. Since this was my first time using a home warranty policy, I did not know I had to specifically record every single issue and that the technician would include all of their findings in their report. Later I was told that because this information was not included in my original claim for the same appliance, I was told I needed to file a separate claim (which would come with an additional fee) for them to look into it further. I was then told that they would have the technician look into the second issue the next time they were at my property; the technician who came to my property twice, told me twice about the issue both times stating that it was his recommendation to make the repair, but Home Warranty of America is stating that they do not have any information indicating a problem about this specific issue. However, they will not provide me with the technicians report to actually show this. They also backtracked to indicate that the issue they did repair was not actually covered, but they did as a courtesy (they also offered me a small amount of money for it if I wanted to purchase a new machine instead, which doesn't sound like something you do as a "courtesy") which was never mentioned the entire time and only communicated after the repair was done. Clearly this company does not have any integrity since they continue to actively lie to me and I don't know why I bothered to get a policy at all.
