I've had a warranty in place for 2-1/2 years. This is the first time I've used it. The old Kenmore washer that came with the house was making a huge racket and shaking hard on the spin cycle. The repairman adjusted the rear legs, which reduced the noise and shaking but hasn't eliminated it. I guess it will have to break down completely before I can get a replacement. It also appears that Sears (whose repairman was sent) is overbooking their people; the repairman was 2-1/2 hours late for my afternoon appointment.

Fast response from the time I filed a claim until completion. The first visit was enlightening, the tech was thorough and sincere. He accessed the problem, ordered the parts needed, set up a date for the repair, we received the parts within 2 days, the other Tech came as scheduled, completed the job in about an hour.

Customer service is atrocious. The sales people lie to you about what they're going to cover, even after you tell them you need a specific coverage. Only to find out when filing a claim that the claim is denied for not being covered and say you can add at next renewal but now they know there is an issue so future claims are automatically denied on that item.

I do not like that I have to wait up to 30 days to receive my buy out money so I can replace my washing machine. I'm disabled and on a tight budget and with 4th of July sales I would be paying less out of pocket if I had my promised money. It's been 2 weeks and still no 343.00 Lowes e card. Very disappointed with all this! As for sending technician out was great.

Choice Home Warranty is very straightforward with what is covered and what is not. So you know upfront if you should submit a claim or not. And the items they don't cover are mainly parts that go through a lot of wear and tear, so I wouldn't expect them to be covered in the first place.

I have issues with submitting a claim. Each time I called and was told to hold or I would get a callback. As soon as I hung up I received a callback but still not connected to the right person. After being transferred and called back three times I finally reached the correct person. Also, may I ask should I receive a receipt for my services and payment? Please let me know. TY

I was not happy with All Fix Service LLC that you sent to look at my ceiling fan with lights. I have talked to them a number of times about what the tec h said was the matter and I was told something en tirely different. Then when I wanted them to repair the light fixture (at my expense which I felt was wrong) they told me they were too busy to even quote me a price. Not very good business practice. Our A/C went out in and when I submitted a claim to Choice Home Warranty it was after 11p as I was about to go to bed. At 7a the next morning my phone rang, was an A/C company wanting to come out and look at my problem. They came out that afternoon, discovered I needed a total unit replacement of my 5-ton AC. The next day I received notice from CHW that my claim had been approved and let me know how much my out of pocket expense would be for the non-covered work. I approved my expense part and the A/C installer called me later to set up a time to bring/install the new unit. Long shory short: from my initial submission of a claim to the restoration of A/C in my home was 4 business days (Thurs-->Monday early afternoon. And, I'm happy to say, the new unit cools much better and faster than my old one.
