They've always been right there for us any time we have had to use them. They're very friendly and they're just very very professional. I used it recently on my air conditioner. My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. Every time they have sent someone out, they've just been very professional and have addressed the problem immediately.

Choice responded quickly to my claim (A/C broke down in 104 degree weather) and scheduled service call. The issue I had was the repair company Choice used. The repairman showed up as scheduled and was professional and knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem, told me he was going to get approval to repair my A/C and would be back the next day or day after. Three days later, I tried calling repair company for a status but they would answer their phone and their voicemail was full. Send electronic message to Choice and received a response and they scheduled the repairman to come two days later. In all, it took one week for my A/C to be repaired. It was a simple repair - replacing a fan motor. Choice could use a better repair company.

After CHW denied my claim to to replace my fridge, they gave me the opportunity to appeal their decision. I spoke with a Rep. to review and access the issue. She sent a second Tech out, which confirmed a replacement was need. CHW then said the claim was now honored and the replacement covered. I'm really not pleased with the replacement amount for a GE top of the line refidgerator ($818), that it took nearly 4 weeks to complete the process and not having a refridgerator for 4 weeks, and another possible 4 weeks to receiv e the reimbursement check ( 15 - 30 days). I did nothing wrong, just filed a claim and expected CHW to do their part.

I called and reported the problem, the diswasher wasn't working properly, sometimes would add water, sometimes not. It seemed to have a mind of its own. It took a few days for a Whirlpool rep to come out, but I was so grateful Choice had him come out. He was a special Whirlpool only gentleman...he knew his business and told me what the problem was in just a few minutes..He took it apart and put in back together as though he could do it in his sleep...He was so nice, very professional but also very congenial and professional. Couldn't have had a better repair person. Fantastic service

I’m very angry with choice home warranty. They increase my monthly price from $87-$102 so I called to cancel after they took my $102 in April. They sent me a text saying I was no longer covered for April. They gave me the runaround one lady hung up on me. They kept trying to get me to stay with CHOICE HOME Warranty. I said no and I still haven’t got a refund yet. they may advertise that being the best, but they lie to you do not use this company. I’m still waiting for a refund and have not received one if I paid for the month of April I should be covered through the entire month.

He said he would order parts and return. Still have not fixed machine. Laundry mat is very expensive. Washers are $7 and $5. Contractor was contacted quickly. Technician was great. Very disappointing warranty response upon call from Technician when he arrived. Garage spring snapped, need replacement and adjusting. He advised me that the second spring was poor and should be replaced also. Choice warranty decided they would not replace the second spring and WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE ADJUSTMENT WHICH IS A NECESSITY!! The repair technician has been here 3 times! It’s been almost a month and I still don’t have a working ice maker. He replaced the Icemaker, no ice! He came again and removed a bunch of panels and said it was a malfunctioning switch. He came back a week later, ignores the switch and replaces a part and says “you now had water” which was never a problem! Then he say Oh I forgot the ice maker was the problem. He said he would fix it on 5/6 and never showed up and now said he would come on 5/8! If he doesn’t fix it this time you will need to send me a technician who knows what he is doing!I’ll keep you updated

A customer since 2023, Choice Home Warranty has been responsive in requests for garage door repair and plumbing (leaky faucet) repair. The $75 fee is reasonable. My only concern is that the technicians they work with have been sub-optimal. The garage door required a re-visit after a week (and repeat service charge) because the first technician didn't recognize the failing gear sprocket at the root of the door travel problem, and the plumbing technician, knowing the hardware brand was Delta, arrived with the wrong part, requiring a 90-minute shopping trip after arrival. With that said, the repairs were timely and the warranty saved significant service costs.

When I called Choice Home Warranty they were very nice and helpful to me . The Tech was very friendly and he always have a smile on his face . He kept me informed that he was running late and about what time he would be at my house. I liked that. I will recommend Choice Home Warranty to someone else. Keep up the good work. Also when the Tech found what was wrong with my washer he told me what it was and that he would have to order the part but when it comes in he will let me know and come back and put it on.

First claim on one of our properties was handled well, the technician was good. The second claim on another property was not good. The first technician did not want to come and did not return my messages. He said on the first and only call that he did not have my name on his list and that he had 108 customers ahead me. I called Choice and they changed technician to another company. This technician from " around the corner" was good He did repair the washer. It took 23 days to get it fixed. I think that was way too long. I think that maybe some of the repair companies used by Whirlpool may not b e reliable.

All services that I have reached out to Home #Warranty to address have offered wonderful service. I appreciate the fast response and everyone that they’ve sent out has been very professional. Its mostly easy when you find its covered to setup and appointment. Its all on line is a pro/ con. Elderly gave issues with getting a live person to help. I got a plan for my mother since she’s older and she struggles with getting services because she can’t easily call for services. But overall it helps me maintain our homes. One other minor issue is knowing what services are available to me. Services get dropped and added and it’s hard to know what’s covered on my plan. It would be nice since I signed a long-term contract that new services get added and or other services dropped offer in exchange. or an option to adjust plan it would be nice. Ultimately, it’s nice to be on a call and get some basic services without having to pay an expensive service fee and find out I have the wrong person for the issue.

After carefully researching a number of plans and customer reviews, Choice stood out as offering a very competitive price and protection plan that met my needs. When I was researching Home Warranty Services, I specifically and repeatedly asked if CHW had technicians in my area that do work for them. The salesman repeatedly said yes. I live in a small town in Southern Indiana and have had a few claims. The technicians came from Tennessee, Kentucky and Evansville, Indiana, which is 50 minutes away. I don't consider that "in my area". All of the technicians were professional, courteous, and did the jobs right. I did find out from one of them that CHW didn't pay them, and they wouldn't come back to my house to finish the job. So, I had to wait for another technician to be found, and come to finish. Then, I had to pay the Service Call Fee again.

I have paid for this home warranty for over 2 years, now. I have rarely put in a claim. I just recently did put in a claim for my Stove Top (built in the island). The technician said he would be back as soon as the part arrived. Then I get notification that it is not covered. I have 4 burners, one is just fine, one I have to start with a lighter, one I have have to turn to "ignite" then down to low and back to ignite and then it works. The fourth one doesn't work at all. The gas line has pulled away and gas does not reach that burner. This just happened and was nothing that we did to it. I still had to pay for this visit (copay) even though you didn't allow the technician to complete. Also, when I FIRST signed up, the sales guy said that Choice Home Warranty offers a visit for heat ducts, electrical and plumbing inspection to make sure all is working properly. No one ever showed up to do this and when I asked again, they said you do not offer this benefit. To say the least, we are very disappointed and my husband wants me to call American Shield because several friends use them with no problems.

There seems to be a glitch in Choice Home Warranty. After a technician visits. When the technician diagnoses the issue, it takes Choice Hime Warranty time to determine the problem with the covered item. Then if the item is covered another appointment is made by the service provider to make another appointment for the technician to make the repair. This needs to be addressed in the Choice Home Warranty management to better streamline their warranty process procedures.

Gave me a good rate. I'm not singling out Home Warranty but it would be good if they elucidate ahead of time disqualifying things like simple scratches on the outside of a water heater that do nothing to the function of the heater but deny a claim. They sent out a shady guy anyway because after draining it it worked fine. The other thing is maybe they should also tell homeowners what is considered annual maintenance in a PDF or something accessible so the homeowner knows exactly the expectation and are also not denied a claim. These things are not made clear ahead of time. Choice is not the only one who does it. They all do it. Better off saving the money for the home warranty and hiring people recommended locally. Probably won't be getting another one at this point.

This worked out fine but I still have trust issues with your company over my previous problem. The sales person promised everything to me but asked no questions about my needs and DID NOT tell me that you wouldn't cover 2 of the same items. In my case it was a stand-alone freezer because I also had a refrigerator with a freezer. I did not like the way I thought I bought something and then you changed the rules. I still would not feel right about recommending your company. But, with that said the people that repaired my dryer were wonderful.
