My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. In the 8 years that I have had choice I have had to replace a built in oven and they only paid me $300 and they are at least minimum 1200 plus installation. I had a dryer That needed to be replaced they plaid nothing and said it was my problem. I have had An air Condition replaced 2 years ago$4,000 out of my own pocket And it took 2 months in the middle of summer. I had a bathroom leak upstairs they tore out my ceiling downstairs Fix the leak which was only Something something in the bathtub that needed to be replaced so they didn't need to rip out the wall Then I had to make a new claim and pay again to get the drywall down stairs fixed Which they did not texture they just filled the hole and drywalled but not texture.And now I have My heater not working it's 52 in my house And Looked at it Looked at it and said it probably really switched And left and 2 weeks later I had to call him back They said they would have the part on mon. I waited all day and never heard from them. I still have no heat. ( 1st call was Dec 12)

So far I’m having a great experience with this home warranty company. At first I was skeptical because the representative who signed me up hung up on me when I didn’t want to use choice warranty for both my properties. I didn’t even know I was signed up until I got an email but I have since submitted a claim and it was a smooth process. The service fee was $100 compared to $85 I pay with my other home warranty company but since no issues so far I have no regrets. The vendor/company used to take care of my issue was awesome so kudos for using good companies thus far!

This company is excellent and for ral Before when I bought a condo in Stuart I enroll in American Shiel that company lie they will fix nothing and to put an appliance new because they can not fixes is no going to happen the technician you have to paid $125 more than this wonderful insurance and on top of that when American Shield technicians come beside the $125 you have to paid it they want you for fixing to pay more ,the Technician this company send fix the problem and in less than an hours they approve me with a new motor for my air-condition Thanks Choice Home Warranty ! Your contractor never even call so you advised me to get another Plumber so I did it was never explained to me to take pictures will in the house my Plumber said it was leaking so he replaced it if I would have taken pictures of the water heater after disinsemble where the leak was in the back of the water heater where I could not take a picture and call you you would have ok the new heater but instead I took pictures of my bad watetheater outside there for you have denied the claim what is wrong with this picture

I’ve been a customer with Choice Home Warranty for about 7 - 8 yrs. I have coverage on three properties. One being a rental property. The cost of the plan is what initially enticed me. My dislike is when it comes to larger cost items they are quick to deny a claim and then if you appeal they give you a fraction of the cost of the repair in “pity money” things that should be deemed normal wear and tear are met a denial. They do not offer accurate replacement value when appliances need to be repaired. Good technicians are a needle in a hay stack. I’ve also been with worst companies so in comparison they’re just ok. It sometimes feels like you’re penalized for filing a claim but that’s why we pay for coverage to use it when needed. I only file when absolutely necessary.

I’ve had choice as my warranty company since may 2020. Overall the service has been a blessing. You submitted claim, it has gotten approved fairly quickly and then you make the arrangements with the company they pick to do the work. The one thing I’ve learned is that the date and time the technician is supposed to come differs from when the technician is actually going to be there so always follow up with the technician.

In my case, I requested to speak with the representative on my claim. My representative called me the same day. I appreciate the speed and willingness of your representative when speaking to them. They willingly agreed to a cash replacement for my item, so that I could take advantage of sales at other locations. They explained that there would be a longer wait, but were very gracious for the entire call.

I have used Choice Home Warranty about four or five times in the last three years. It’s incredibly easy to go online and enter a claim. They are immediately responsive (within 24 hours or less) and quickly assign a local company to contact me. Should there be a question regarding approval for a specific repair, they are equally as quick getting back to me. I have been nothing but pleased with the service and professionalism. The man that came to service our sink disposal, was pleasant and knowledgeable on how to repair the system. He didn't not speak English and asked if we could write any questions on our cell. He answered our questions as best he could. I would highly recommend him. I have only had one encounter. I was extremely disappointed that my refrigerator was dismissed as having a prior problem. I hadn't had a problem with it before I reported it to you. My microwave was fixed without incident during same house call. The repairman expressed his dislike of having to travel so far. I hope in the event of an appliance failure in the future, it will be faster to get a repairman to my house. I don't have the money to pay upfront. The repairman himself was awesome. He was very professional, courteous, and explained his findings accurately. I referred my sister in law to choice and I was suppose to get a reward of some kind. I have not received anything.

On the positive and every employee that I dealt with has been great. On the negative side it’s a warranty that is designed to cover some, but not all of the repair. Example your air-conditioning system goes out. They have to replace the outdoor unit because if its age, the indoor unit needs to be replaced as well, but they won’t pay for that Because they say it’s not broken. Well they can’t replace the outside unit without doing the indoor unit so it seems like a package to me accommodation so instead we had to pay about $3000 out-of-pocket. I’ve dealt with other home warranty companies over the years. An example would be First American And never had to have that experience. I always buy the premium plan and I guess I assumed, my mistake that the premium plan covers stuff like that. Also had a hot water heater that went bad again out of pocket we had to pay 300+ dollars 125 of which was to dispose of it and the other was because they have to replumb it to make it work. Would make sense to me that anytime you replace a hot water heater. You have to replumb it. With First American we had a similar repair and we did not encounter any of those extra cost. So my advice is read the fine print.

The problem I have with Choice is they don't always have the Best repair companies working for them, Have had some good experiences , and some Bad experiences like my Hot water heater, they put in a inferior unit the one I had you could adjust the temp this one you cant. the other issue I had they didn't hook it up right I called them on it and they got Pissed at me , and wouldn't come back and pick up the old one, like they said they would. I reported it to you and you called them and they refused to come back.

I absolutely loved from start to finish the efficiency, time and the customer service I received from Door Posh. The technician’s name that was sent out was Mark. He called when he was about 30 minutes away and he arrived on time . Mark was very polite with great interaction skills!!! Not only that but he assessed all of his options while replacing and cleaning a few components. Mark repaired my problem after being here maybe 20 minutes. Washer couldn’t be repaired …..choice offered 340 to buy a new one. Lowest price available (with less features) is 500!!!! I found out later after many conversations with their management that they base their reimbursement figure on THEIR COST NOT WHAT SOMEONE CAN REALY PAY!!!!!!! That sucks. I thought the contractor was great. However, it would seem Choice Home Warranty has many clauses that allows them not to be liable for the services that the insurers believe they are paying for. My situation was electrical and though I’m the second owner I’ve never messed with any of the wiring system. When the electrician came he stated wiring wasn’t correct which could’ve been from when the house was built in early 2000s. Since wiring was wrong Choice Warranty declined service. When I purchased insurance, I thought it was based on me not the previous owner or the builder. Additionally, the electrician stated Choice Warranty wouldn’t authorize work on the same electrical issue that they sent someone out here a year ago to fix in which I was told by the electrician that they didn’t fix it they wired it so it looked like they fixed it and it would go out again.

I like the fact that I could find a company on my own. But I’m disappointed that CHW couldn’t get someone to fix the heating unit, because I had to pay out of pocket for my own repairs. The unit is old and it will need to be replaced one day because the parts for it, aren’t made anymore.

I have had a Choice Home Warranty for about 5 years. For the most part, the level of service has been ok. On a few occasions the tech company they use has been a bit questionable. The last service I had on my HVAC they allowed me to pick my own vendor as the previous service call took approximately 3 months to get resolved. I paid the vendor upfront and received reimbursement from Choice within the 30 day time frame they promised. Very good!In the future, this is the way I will go as I can get a local vendor there on a timely basis and not wait 3 months for the fix.

And get another repair person out that Was a factory rep. At this time, I am not satisfied with the service that I’m getting from Choice Home Warranty. My mashing machine has been broken since November 6th 2024. Service workers have been out at least four times. Each time they came out they put a new part on the machine, it still doesn’t work. A service person came out on New Year Day (afternoons) and put another part on that was ordered. The machine still is not working. I just want CHW to cancel the washing machine out so that I can purchase anew one . At this time I’m very frustrated with Choice Home Warranty to the point of canceling my service. I have been with them since about 2017. I’m ready to let them go. I’m dragging clothes to the laundry mat, which is no fun for 3 months. I’m about to be done with Choice Home Warranty.

Only one service providers ever provided service and we have had 4-5 service providers come out. They usually say the home warranty doesn't cover that. Shocker!! I even looked up if the home warranty covered electrical and while I know it does not cover outlet overload, it said it covered wiring. Well we had a compromised wire in the living room and they would not cover it because it was not normal wear and tear. Anything to get out of covering something! We will not be renewing our contract with Choice Home Warranty that is for sure. They pick and choose what they will cover and if the item is something that is a normal wear and tear like the damper motor that goes out on many people's air conditioning units, then they definitely don't cover it!
