My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. I think Home warranties are a great idea. The problem is when you have to wait for extended periods of time to get parts are have things fixed. I put in a request for a dishwasher repair back on 3/16/25. The repairman came to the house on 3/24 only to tell us he had to order the part. After I called several times someone finally got back to me 4/7 and I finally got the repair 4/9. The excuse was they couldn't get the part from the manufacturer but that didn't excuse them from not communicating with me for 15 days. The repair man was courteous and professional. He completed the job when he arrived with the part on 4/9/25.

We had Choice for about 10 years and we have always been taken care of quickly when we submit a claim. Peace of mind, we have had to have garage door repairs, a/c repairs, Hotwater heater repairs, toilet repairs, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and washing machine repairs. Pretty smooth and good customer service.

I was not impressed on the way this warranty coverage works. Your company does not do what I thought. You don't pay cost of product if needs to be replaced. I worked with Cheryl H after so many issues with vendors that did and didn't do a good job. It was a very bad experience with them for Amanda Elkins, but Cheryl helped a lot to fix some of the problems we appreciated her help. But I am a realtor and Im not impressed by this company's policy

The first technician we called on regarding our air conditioner, was on time for a professional and no hidden cost except for the $85 fee. The company, clockwise plumbing, I was not impressed with very very much. Although they finally came out today to fix my water heater after not hearing from them so I had to call the company and ask for an appointment myself. I and my husband are not happy that we also had to pay for products needed for the service. We wanted a warranty program where we only pay the $85 fee as noted in the contract. We should not have to pay extra for products needed for something that needs replacing.

Customer Service personnel were helpful by addressing the issue with the original serviceman Choice sent to fix my dryer . Hevsited multiple times and wasnot able to fix the problem but he did want me to pay him $200 for a cleaning I did nopt need. Once I got tot he right department, the CHoice rep understood my dilemma and sent another tech who was able to fix the dryer onhis first visit in less than 2 hours. I was disappointed inte Claims department who told me I woudl not be able to get a new service tech without paying an additional deductible. I amglad I found a phone number direct to CUstomer Service lest my overall rating woul have beenmuch lower. The time I spent with the initial tech resulted in multiple visits to the laundromat that could have been avoided.

After switching to Choice, I made a new choice to contact all my hundred of clients and told them they may want to switch when their term ended. Since I own the Real Estate brokerage I recommended all my agents do the same! That’s the difference between Choice and other national companies!

Overall Good I just have only one issue and would like to bring it up: Recently we did have one issue with the shower faucet leaked ; filed claim have plumbing co came .. I told him the shower catridge issue might need to replace .after technician dudvgssed with co and he worked with CHW then CHW tọc me I ll have to pay $800.00 to replace the main valve..I said No …. And asked to have second opinion but CHW didn’t …i then hire the local hàndy man plumber to purchased the shower catridge and replaced the old one …cost total $175.00!…..I never have any issue in the past til this time….is this the right practice??? I'm extremely satisfied. My only complaint would be for extra small things like service calls that were made and no work was done maybe a little percentage back would be good. I mean all he did was flip the switch on a breaker box. That was an expensive lesson learned there. $85 to flip a switch. But oh well you live and you learn.

Pros: It is very easy to file a claim with Choice Home Warranty (CHW). When filing a claim, a service provider is immediately sought by CHW followed by scheduling an appointment for service. Cons: The time for the service provider to obtain the necessary parts for the repair is not consistent. In some cases, parts are obtained the same day and in others it has taken up to 3 weeks.

I have been a customer of a competitor for home for about 7 years. I stopped paying for the service as a friend who is very handy does most of the work himself as he owns rentals. As I told Chris J during our initial conversation, that I used to do repairs myself but became disabled and can hardly do anything! I like the company, but sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to get a part. My bathroom sink was looked at on February 18th and said they would be back in a week. On March 11th I received a call to come replace the faucet lines. Was told the repair person was really busy. I understand that, but I had to have a leaky faucet for almost a month before it was fixed. I had to keep dumping the bucket I had under my sink. Not a major problem, just annoying. Customer service is great and this is the start of my second year with Choice. Still going to stay with them, just wish the process was a little faster.

The repairman was amazing. He fixed the dishwasher and 6 days later came back to fix the clothes dryer. It was stacked dryer so he brought help to move it, Fixed it in short order and it has been running non stop since he left. Excellent service from Choice. They react immediately.
