They've always been right there for us any time we have had to use them. They're very friendly and they're just very very professional. I used it recently on my air conditioner. My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. Every time they have sent someone out, they've just been very professional and have addressed the problem immediately.

Choice responded quickly to my claim (A/C broke down in 104 degree weather) and scheduled service call. The issue I had was the repair company Choice used. The repairman showed up as scheduled and was professional and knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem, told me he was going to get approval to repair my A/C and would be back the next day or day after. Three days later, I tried calling repair company for a status but they would answer their phone and their voicemail was full. Send electronic message to Choice and received a response and they scheduled the repairman to come two days later. In all, it took one week for my A/C to be repaired. It was a simple repair - replacing a fan motor. Choice could use a better repair company.

we chose Choice Home Warranty first because they had a good deal if you get the 3 year or the 5 year package, while our previous Home warranty was raising the price year after year, and their service was ok but very slow, to get hold of a real person to speak to was a nightmare. with Choice HW they answer the call or they call back within the same day depending on how urgent the situation is. they send a technician with in 2-3 days and eventually they take care of the issue in timely manner.

I had American Home Warranty and was very unhappy with them! I switched to Choice Home Warranty and they have been Excellent! They cover things that my American home warranty didn't cover Or did a higher price! I love the fact most of the people that come out to do the repair are paid the service fee when they get here by me! The few that the service fee is deducted before the technician arrives is because they are Technicians licensed For that brand! Could not be happier!

I signed up with Choice Home Warranty due to advertisement that appealed to me by featuring it as convenient, professional & comprehensive service covering all appliances . I had one claim earlier on to repair a dryer that went quite well. However, I may not continue after a recent experience: I put a claim in on 3/14/26 for a refrigerator repair (leaking fluid from underneath). They took my service fee of $100 and scheduled technician appt (w/Home Technology Solutions) for 3/16/26 between 11 am - 3pm. I took off work to be home for the appt. only to be called at 11:38 am ( 3/16/26) by HTS to collect information and be advised no service technician would be coming out today and it could be up to 24-48 hours for a technician appt to be scheduled. A new appt has been rescheduled for 3/23/26. That's a 9 day wait time with fluid continuing to leak out from underneath the refrigerator. Despite towels surrounding apliance and fan the leak is now impacting kitchen flooring (seeping underneath vinyl flooring). I'm not at all pleased with this extended wait time and will likely incurr additional expense to repair some flooring. MaryJo S.

I searched around for a while and settled with choice home warranty and so far I have been very happy. Easy to submit a claim and easy to deal with the process. The only thing I wish they did, was to allow check ups on appliances… You can only call them when something breaks. You cannot call to have your refrigerator or any of your appliances a wellness check… They don’t do that that’s my only problem.

I have always been satisfied using their services before. Then my boiler needed fixed. No one called for a couple of days, then we set the appointment, and he fixed it in 20 minutes. During this time, my house was extremely hot, I had to open the windows and put my air conditioner on. I just got my oil bill which was over $1,000, When normally it is $600-$700. I haven’t gotten the electric bill yet. I would love it if Choice Home Warranty would compensate me for some of the money that I paid for oil and electricity While waiting for the boiler to be fixed. It's our Warranty company. Ark Plumbing was referred to us by Choice. Our problem is shower head heavy leaking /dripping, since 3/1/26. It took almost (2) wks today for a plumber to try to fix the leak after assessment and authorization of part from Choice. This whole time my bill is running high due to the leak. We paid $225 plus $75 service fee to Ark, but the leak is still there, I'm very disappointed. I contacted Ark Plumbing about it after (7) hrs, but still no response. I really need this problem to be solved asap. Your prompt attention to this matter is much appreciated. Thank you

I bought a one year contract with Choice Home Warranty and only had to use them one time. When I called for service on the one item, they told me to find my own repair company and then go through a bunch of folderal of me paying the bill and then getting reimbursed and this that and the other. So I just called my own repair company and got the work done quickly and reasonably instead of using Choice Home Warranty which I found to be somewhere between useless and a waste of time. Due to my experience I probably won't be renewing with them again as they apparently didn't care about me in the slightest.

Great job by the technicians to actually get the job done and done well! However, the initial appointment day and time changed a couple times from the initial appointment to the actual one. Hence the reason for 4 stars. Had I not been working from home, it could have been an issue. Only mentioning this because this is not the first time it has happened. Just a bit of tidying up with appointment, scheduling and communication to the technicians would help to make Choice Home Warranty exemplary.

I am glad I switched to Choice. I haven't had many claims, but the few I did have, the process was easy. Just file the claim, pick the date and time frame for the service company to arrive. Everything is listed in an email, with the service company's name and number.

I am extremely disappointed that choice warranty did not pay the full contract price for my plumbing. They said Choice do not pay for rerouting and I had a hot water leak in my bathroom floor. They would only pay $500 per the contract for someone to bust up my floor but I was responsible to repair it back. They would pay for a plumber to repair the leak. It took them weeks and couldn’t find anyone. They gave me the option to find someone but Choice still had to approve the work order, so I told them to find the plumber themselves. After weeks they could only find a plumber to reroute. Choice only paid $500. I feel Choice should have paid my full contract price because the plumber they chose was doing the round they approved.

I thought when I started that they would take care of things. One of the springs on my garage door was broken in two places. The other spring was not broken but it had been through the same things that the other side had been through. The Likly hood is that it will break is very high. I was told that they only fix broken things. The second spring is working on borrowed time. I was real disappointed when I was told that they would not replace it. When it breaks there is another $85 for us to pay out. The company that came was excellent to work with.

I liked that when I filed a claim on Friday 03/13/26, for our water heater to be replaced as it was 12 years old and had begun making noises when heating up, they sent their plumbing tech out the very next day, Saturday 03/14/26. He arrived right on time and was professional and friendly. However, I was a little disappointed that the tech took all of 10 minutes to examine it and told us he would send his report to Choice and we would here from them on Monday 3/16/26 as they are closed on the weekends. We received an email on Sunday 3/15/26 saying they had received his report saying it didn't need repair or replaced.

I chose Choice Home Warranty because it was listed as the best home warranty company. I already had a home warranty with a different company, and it was time to renew, the cost had gone up, and Choice was less expensive for the same coverage, so I switched. When I had to make a claim, I was pleased with how quickly they responded, but things went down from there. My contractor was finally assigned - it took 2 days - but he was unable to do the needed repair because his tools were being repaired, so it would be at least a week before he could get here, and I had raw sewerage leaking into my basement at the time. I contacted Choice and was told I could get my own contractor and have him make the repair, but I would have to have choice approve it before any work could be done. This did not make me a happy customer, and I almost demanded my money returned so I could contract with a different company. I cooled down, jumped through the required hoops for Choice, got the repair done and last week received my refund check for paying the contractor. I am a bit disappointed that there was no one available to do the work in my area, which is what I was assured by the salesperson I talked to when I joined. I will see how much difficulty I encounter the next time I have a claim.

I was very pleased until I had a problem with my AC and the service man ,told me to send a video of what was happening to it , then he call me back and said that they had told him that it was nothing that had to do with CHOICE ,so it was nothing he coul do ,and he never came to look at it physically , I called a friend ,who gave a phone number of a friend of him , and he man came back, and fix it with a small part , he charged me $300 ,and it's been working for month ,four other times i call for my stove, (twice) and then 2. different times for my cloth washer and they were taking care very soon by some very profesional and nice workers

Their response to my claim was fast. They had a contractor assigned and provided me with the contractor information within 48 hours. I was contacted by the contractor and appointment made within 72 hours. Parts had to be ordered and the service tech scheduled and met the final repair date. The contractor was over 2 hours from my location but made all appointments on time. The previous warranty company that I had had for 15 years didn’t always have service contractors who would service my area and I usually had to find my own contractor and pay for the work that needed to be accomplished and then argue with them to provide reimbursement.

I had to file two claims last month. Both went smoothly. The appointments were scheduled fast. The work was done by two different contractors and both were professional and fixed what needed to fixed. It was easy to ask for service online. They didn’t make me tell them all my serial and model numbers for my items. They also didn’t send me emails and phone calls making me call them back. I didn’t have to do too much work to get them send help. I really appreciated how easy this was. My last home warranty company was extremely frustrating and always tried to get out of paying. Don't buy from choice warranty this is a worst company. Worst experience If your HVAC system breaks in winter as it was worst in feb 2026 Choice policy they want you to wait die in cold wheather . Once you put a claim They will send their service agents after a week appointment and they will evaluate and than you wait for the choice to approve the claim status Nothing is done yet after a week of bad worst winter of 2026 Pathetic disgusting policy we had Bad luck They will never disclose this when you make a contract this is for real happened to me so be careful I cancelled the policy nothing paid for the repairs done because we did not wait for approval

Waiting since 7 this morning and repair person is verifying with you after I had already confirmed with him. When the first tech came he fixed the problem but it was 6:30 pm when he got her. Choice warranty gave me a time and date and when the technician didn’t show up, I called and the technician said that is Choice warranty saying that that’s the time we’re coming but they don’t know our schedule. We had our local hardware give you a estimate and you told him his labor was too high…. He had a very hard time getting the element out so he really did deserve the total labor charge.. It's for this claim a vendor did pick up fairly quickly. However the copay that choice told me I had to pay did not match the amount that the vendor said it was going to cost. There was a difference of $300 and Choice could not tell me where they came up with their copay. But they told me I had to pay it. When I talked vendor he said they never gave that number so choice was requiring me to pay more than the vendor wanted. The vendor said agreed to a lower price because that's all he needed. So if I would have paid the amount Joyce said I had to without questioning I would have overpaid by $300. And Choice did not offer a reason to why there was a difference
