My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. Every time they have sent someone out, they've just been very professional and have addressed the problem immediately.

Choice responded quickly to my claim (A/C broke down in 104 degree weather) and scheduled service call. The issue I had was the repair company Choice used. The repairman showed up as scheduled and was professional and knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem, told me he was going to get approval to repair my A/C and would be back the next day or day after. Three days later, I tried calling repair company for a status but they would answer their phone and their voicemail was full. Send electronic message to Choice and received a response and they scheduled the repairman to come two days later. In all, it took one week for my A/C to be repaired. It was a simple repair - replacing a fan motor. Choice could use a better repair company.

I have a claim on my washing machine for several weeks now. A technician came out one day, fixed what was suppose to be the problem and then the mother board went out. He said he would order parts and return. Still have not fixed machine. Laundry mat is very expensive. Washers are $7 and $5. Would like some help to get machine fixed or else tell me the next step I need to take.

When I called Choice Home Warranty they were very nice and helpful to me . The Tech was very friendly and he always have a smile on his face . He kept me informed that he was running late and about what time he would be at my house. I liked that. I will recommend Choice Home Warranty to someone else. Keep up the good work. Also when the Tech found what was wrong with my washer he told me what it was and that he would have to order the part but when it comes in he will let me know and come back and put it on.

I’ve renewed my choice warranty contract several times with multi year coverage and rate guarantees. I do recommend that rather than file a claim online that you phone the claims department to enter your claim. I had one instance where I entered the claim online and had the problem fixed. Turned out that that particular problem was not covered. All else very good with Choice.

First claim on one of our properties was handled well, the technician was good. The second claim on another property was not good. The first technician did not want to come and did not return my messages. He said on the first and only call that he did not have my name on his list and that he had 108 customers ahead me. I called Choice and they changed technician to another company. This technician from " around the corner" was good He did repair the washer. It took 23 days to get it fixed. I think that was way too long. I think that maybe some of the repair companies used by Whirlpool may not b e reliable.

All services that I have reached out to Home #Warranty to address have offered wonderful service. I appreciate the fast response and everyone that they’ve sent out has been very professional. Its mostly easy when you find its covered to setup and appointment. Its all on line is a pro/ con. Elderly gave issues with getting a live person to help. I got a plan for my mother since she’s older and she struggles with getting services because she can’t easily call for services. But overall it helps me maintain our homes. One other minor issue is knowing what services are available to me. Services get dropped and added and it’s hard to know what’s covered on my plan. It would be nice since I signed a long-term contract that new services get added and or other services dropped offer in exchange. or an option to adjust plan it would be nice. Ultimately, it’s nice to be on a call and get some basic services without having to pay an expensive service fee and find out I have the wrong person for the issue.

Gave me a good rate. I'm not singling out Home Warranty but it would be good if they elucidate ahead of time disqualifying things like simple scratches on the outside of a water heater that do nothing to the function of the heater but deny a claim. They sent out a shady guy anyway because after draining it it worked fine. The other thing is maybe they should also tell homeowners what is considered annual maintenance in a PDF or something accessible so the homeowner knows exactly the expectation and are also not denied a claim. These things are not made clear ahead of time. Choice is not the only one who does it. They all do it. Better off saving the money for the home warranty and hiring people recommended locally. Probably won't be getting another one at this point.

This worked out fine but I still have trust issues with your company over my previous problem. The sales person promised everything to me but asked no questions about my needs and DID NOT tell me that you wouldn't cover 2 of the same items. In my case it was a stand-alone freezer because I also had a refrigerator with a freezer. I did not like the way I thought I bought something and then you changed the rules. I still would not feel right about recommending your company. But, with that said the people that repaired my dryer were wonderful.

I chose Choice Home Warranty because I live in a very rural area and I had another company that was happy to take my money but couldn't provide service providers when my air conditioning went out, the plumbing had an issue and my dryer stopped working. I ended up paying out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement. I haven't had to do that with Choice. I might have to wait a few days (which is why I bought a portable AC unit) and I can't use my preferred providers but I guess that's how it goes?

we chose Choice Home Warranty first because they had a good deal if you get the 3 year or the 5 year package, while our previous Home warranty was raising the price year after year, and their service was ok but very slow, to get hold of a real person to speak to was a nightmare. with Choice HW they answer the call or they call back within the same day depending on how urgent the situation is. they send a technician with in 2-3 days and eventually they take care of the issue in timely manner.

They cover things that my American home warranty didn't cover Or did a higher price! Their response to my claim was fast. They had a contractor assigned and provided me with the contractor information within 48 hours. I was contacted by the contractor and appointment made within 72 hours. Parts had to be ordered and the service tech scheduled and met the final repair date. The contractor was over 2 hours from my location but made all appointments on time. The previous warranty company that I had had for 15 years didn’t always have service contractors who would service my area and I usually had to find my own contractor and pay for the work that needed to be accomplished and then argue with them to provide reimbursement.

I had to file two claims last month. Both went smoothly. The appointments were scheduled fast. The work was done by two different contractors and both were professional and fixed what needed to fixed. It was easy to ask for service online. They didn’t make me tell them all my serial and model numbers for my items. They also didn’t send me emails and phone calls making me call them back. I didn’t have to do too much work to get them send help. I really appreciated how easy this was. My last home warranty company was extremely frustrating and always tried to get out of paying. Work doesn’t get done right then and there. Send person out. They assess. Then eventually return to fix. Plumbing is the issue. They will fix but not replace as instructed by professional plumbers. So if leaks occur, they will only come out and be instructed to fix leak but not damage done by leak. If they let the professionals do their jobs it would be a good company. Will not be renewing. They outsource calls so you will be speaking to people who don’t live in US so they don’t understand fully the emergency situations are when speaking to them. Sadly the only time you speak to someone in US is when they are selling you a Home choice warranty deal.

I was led to believe that I would. have coverage to include my HVAC System. I purchased my condo in August of last year. The unit received a passing grade during the pre-purchase inspection. I secured a maintenance contract providing 2 semi-annual inspections. A recently completed inspection revealed leaking of the coils. My reading of the contract (which I should have done earlier) indicated the HVAC system was not covered. Since the system was 14 years old, I opted to replace the unit at a cost of $8,000. There was also a $3,000 maximum reimbursement for anything covered per my reading of the contract. That sure would have been a helpful to reduce my out of pocket cost.

The original claims agents are very friendly and helpful. But in our latest claim, we had a unique plumbing issue that had to be upgraded to a claims specialist. While she was knowledgeable, she was also very cold in explaining why they would only pay for “builder’s grade” as per the contract. The original plumber got frustrated and pulled out.
