Technician was very nice and knowledgeable, although the results were not what we hoped for as it was an issue not covered. A clogged drain pump, not sure what would cause it but that was his diagnosis. We understand things get left in pockets or something else that will clog this system, so we have to do a better job of making sure nothing extra goes into the washer.

I needed a dryer repair/service and found exhaust hose was clogged by pet hair and was not connected well with the hose being one of those that was Not accordian style and air was not going out the exit hole at all plus the heating element had gone out. The part was replaced in the dryer but the exhaust hose needs replaced and the brothers know I need it and said it would be charged separately. I agreed as I really prefer to have one in place to keep dryer heat down in my home. Still waiting for the hose but sure to bring it by Friday or Monday, and it's a holiday weekend.

This was my first claim and I was impressed with how easy you made it. The agent who answered my call was vey courteous and professional .When I explained the purpose of my call (washer machine with dripping water). I was immediately sent an email with the name of a company who would contact me with a date and time for repair. This was followed up with an email from Jullian from Bodewell Appliance. He was prompt, professional and explained what the problem was, however he had to order a part which would be delivered in one week. Meanwhile I received anther email with date and time of technician's return. True to his word part was received this time Chalyn (Bodewell)gave on time and replaced the damaged part with the new one. I must say that I am truly pleased t have chosen Choice Home Warranty and have recommended them to my daughter. Thanks for being true to your warranty.

Your service is excellent but I am not very pleased with your rental warranty. There seems to be a problem with the 75.00 deductable. My condo is rented. I do not live there. The last service this was a problem for me. I was told It had to be paid to the service tect when he arrived?? This should be paid thru my rental company and my payment is on file thru them? I cannot be there to make this payment. This needs to be handled if you take care of rentals. This is the reason my condo is with a rental company. I pay for their service and do not want to be worried with it..Not sure who is at fault here.

The technician that came to work on my dryer was top notch! I switched to Choice a couple years ago after being with AMERICAN home Shield for many years. I was so frustrated with the technicians that they had started sending. Very unprofessional and one lied to me and told me that AHS WIUKD NOT PAY FOR THE REPAIR AND THAT IT WAS A $1000 JOB. He also told me that he could get his boss to let him do it for $800. As it turned out, after I called a plumber to come look at it, all it needed was a new wax ring around the bottom of the toilet. A very quick inexpensive fix. Said all that to say this. Choice has sent class, professional, well mannered, technicians every time. Thank you!

First…their pricing seemed reasonable. I’ve never bought a home warranty before so I talked to several companies. To date I have had to call twice for services on my washing machine. I was very satisfied with the last company that they chose, the owner of the company actually came with her assistant, and they did a wonderful job. The first company/service man that they sent, he was a little, put offish and not very responsive or friendly. But he got the job done, although he did bend the lid of my washing machine.

I called and reported the problem, the diswasher wasn't working properly, sometimes would add water, sometimes not. It seemed to have a mind of its own. It took a few days for a Whirlpool rep to come out, but I was so grateful Choice had him come out. He was a special Whirlpool only gentleman...he knew his business and told me what the problem was in just a few minutes..He took it apart and put in back together as though he could do it in his sleep...He was so nice, very professional but also very congenial and professional. Couldn't have had a better repair person. Fantastic service

I am extremely disappointed with the way this service request was handled. When a customer explains the issue in detail to customer care, it is the responsibility of the representative to understand the problem correctly and dispatch the appropriate technician. Instead, a technician was sent to my home who was apparently not qualified or authorized to address the issue. He came, assessed the problem, collected his service fee, and simply left stating that the issue was “not covered.” This is completely unacceptable. If the issue was not covered under my service plan, I should have been informed BEFORE scheduling the technician visit and charging me a service fee. It is not reasonable to charge the customer for a visit that provided no repair, no resolution, and no meaningful service. I expect the company to take responsibility for this mistake and refund the service fee immediately. I also expect you to arrange for the correct technician to inspect and resolve the issue, without charging me another unnecessary service fee. Please escalate this matter to a supervisor/manager and provide me with a clear resolution. I do not consider this matter closed simply because the technician visited my home and left without resolving the problem. I expect a prompt response and appropriate action.

I do not recommend a home warranty. They tell you about what they cover, but don't go over what they don't cover or how you can get stuck paying the bill anyway. If you do get one, read the fine print, then read the fine, fine print. They will find a way not to pay or at least not to pay the full amount needed to fix your issue. They also have trouble keeping good technicians to hire because of all the red tape necessary for them to get paid. Home warranties are just not what the salesperson makes them out to be.

Poor quality for replacements if they replace at all. It says there is coverage for Whirlpool tubs but when the jets didn't work they said they didn't cover whirlpool tubs, the policy says it does. The sensor that needs replaced is not made any longer. Just said they are not replacing my tub, and offered $300 when and if I can find a repair. Very disappointed in this company and will not recommend to any of my clients any longer.

They’ve sent people that are supposed to know about the situation, but no nothing and yet we still have to pay the $75 fee. They don’t communicate well with each other, nor with the client as to what’s going on with a claim It took over a month to get the process with an air-conditioning heating claim in the heat of Summer to get someone out All they wanna do is put a Band-Aid on the problem, so to speak, so you have the same problem a few months later and have to go through the same process again . Not really fixing anything. I would not recommend this company to anyone

I chose due to pricing/coverage. I've been waiting for 1 mo to hear if a part was ordered for my toilet. Called, and it was never ordered. Then plumber was supposed to come to install it. The day of the install, notified he had to reschedule to the following week. The rescheduled day, notified that the part won't be in until the end of the month. So by the time the part is installed, I'll have waited 3 months. Cancelling contract.

I have the pool warranty rider. I called in because the pump wasn't pumping correctly. After three days of waiting, they told me I could choose any provider, because they couldn't find one at the time. I did as I was advised and the company replaced a basket which was a very low cost, it was then determined it was the pump. They wouldn't honor the new claim, because I let them put the basket on. I ended up paying 2K out of my pocket. I am going back to AHS where I had no issues. Sometimes cheaper is worth the headache. I would not recommend.
